Pros: Everything! Great people, superbly decorated, outstanding food. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. We shall return!
Pros: Friendly owners. And very good breakfast. Really cozy and quiet to sleeping
Pros: Charming creative town central property
Pros: Everything. The owners are really great people. The decoration is beautiful and the breakfast complete and good. They have a beautiful garden. The room was big and cute, and everything was very clean and tidy.
Pros: Almost everything!
Cons: Wi-fi signal is sometimes a problem
Pros: We booked this on our way from Spain to the Netherlands. We intended to stay one night, but we liked it a lot, thus we booked an extra night. We felt really at home. Wonderfull spacious rooms, comfortable beds, really clean plus nice views over the landscape. The service was really good. Reg and Sue treat us like we were family. Super friendly and lovely people. We ate a home cooked meal together in the evenings, which tasted really good. I had a back problem and Reg arranged a massage for me in the b&b, which was really relaxing. When we went home Sue gave us a bag of tomatoes of their own garden. The location is stunning! We went hiking at Lac de Cap-de-Long. Unfortunately we didn’t bring our bikes, but you can rent proper bikes at their place (carbon road bikes). We really recommend this place an definitely want to come back!
Pros: Reg and sue were really excellent companions as well as hosts. Our whole family enjoyed our time with them. The facilities are beautiful and immaculately kept up and the wine tasting.......was a totally unexpected delight
Pros: Beautiful house and room. Very suitable for cyclist-groups because of the varied parcours-options. Host has a well-equipped garage in case of technical difficulties. Very nice people.
Pros: A real guest house. Both are very kind and friendly. We asked for dinner in a very shot time (like 30min beofre dinner time) and there was no problem at all. Dinner was very good and they share the table with us. Our little kid was sick and they were very careful, offering to cook something special for her and asking if she needed anything else. Breakfast is also perfect. The room was big enough for 4 people, and the entire house is tastely renovated, combining old and modern. A very nice place!
Cons: nothing to say
Pros: Clean, warm, welcoming. The hosts are extremely kind and the breakfast was excellent
Cons: The village is not exactly the coolest place on earth, but this does not depend on the hosts, of course
Pros: Bed was exceptional
Cons: Slightly off the beaten track but excellent nonetheless.
Pros: Lovely mountain views. Excellent Breakfast
Cons: Needed soap for handwashing. One of us would have liked extra pillows
Pros: Christoph and his family were wonderful hosts for my stay in the Pyrenees. From providing a comfortable, cozy place to stay and lovely breakfasts, they provided me with great tips as I explored the area and were so hospitable. I felt so welcomed and at home while staying here. Le Shorten was a perfect start point for exploring the mountains.
Pros: Breakfast was good, it was really clean good parking facilities. Bed was good.
Cons: WiFi was a little slow for business use. I would have liked a kettle and perhaps a tv for a single nights stay on my own.
Pros: Staying at Le Shorten made the last night of our trip extra special. Super nice and welcoming hosts, amazing breakfast, great, comfy rooms with large beds and views over the valley. Thank you guys & hope we will be back soon!
Pros: Host was great, breakfast impressive
Pros: Brilliant host. Native English speaker, doing well in French! Very clean and tide place. Excellent prepared dinner and more than enough breakfast. Very polite lady who likes what she is doing and does it very well. House is just on the road so access is more than easy. Nice garden and lots of parking place in the yard. Really loved my stay!!
Cons: There was nothing that i really didn't like!
Pros: Our hosts made us feel very welcome. It was almost like being friends and popping in to visit someone. This is a traditional style of B&B. Breakfast was great.
Pros: Staff were very friendly and directed us to the local shop for a bottle of wine. The garden and surrounds were very good.
Pros: Very large comfortable room with en suite. Charming hostess. Very nice breakfast and a wonderful cooked dinner.
Pros: Our second visit to this delightful B and B. Great hosts, great food (don’t forget to book dinner too) and very comfortable accommodation. Perfect.
Pros: Grounds were lovely with great view of farms and mountains, our hosts were very warm and helpful, and we loved their friendly dog and kitties!
Pros: Very conveniently located Le Toit Rouge is a private home in a stunning location. The hosts are friendly and very professional and the accommodation is superb. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had the best breakfast in our entire visit to France! We are looking forward to our next visit.
Pros: Lovely evening meals, & the figs were great from the garden
Pros: We adored our room and bathroom plus the lounge and kitchen both came in handy. The view was gorgeous and we just loved having garden surrounding us. It was a very short walk into the village where we were able to purchase some groceries which we were allowed to cook in the kitchen for dinner. Our host were awesome and it totally felt like we were with good friends. It was fun to share stories and laughs. Breakfast was very good and if you looked carefully you would find chocolates, too!!! Close to the Pyrenees and Arreau market!

Pros: The Pool was superb, a truly peaceful setting. Kind and accommodating hosts.
Cons: For us it was too remote, but that was just a personal thing for this visit, if we were after a total relaxing break it would have been perfect.

Pros: Warm greeting from staff

Pros: The owner is a star.
Pros: the owner was a pleasant man, nowledgable of the region and willing to offer as much assistance as was required in continuing our preplanned itinerary.
Cons: On arrival no one was present in the lobby, and in fact throughout the enitre property. Fifteen minutes of wating led to a worker presenting himself who phoned a staff member to eventually arrive. The hotel itself was an enormous building with zero charm or character with rooms completely devoid of any decorations. The dining room was an enormous hall , as the type one would find at a college dorm.Breakfast was boring without any creatvity.
