Pros: We liked pretty much everything but especially the friendly welcome and pool for a nice cooling did after we arrived. Facilities were excellent.
Cons: The location, just above the Citadel, was OK for for the 20 minute walk down to the town but we would recommend a taxi back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the nicest B&B we have ever stayed at. Carinne is a warm and welcoming host who serves an incredible breakfast. The place is spotlessly clean.
Cons: A little bit difficult for cyclists since it is at the top of a steep road.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is really incredible... I never thought a B&B could be like this! My wife and I were completely impressed by the way this owner runs her B&B. From the beginning to the end, all was perfect. The very warm welcome of Carine, how she presented all the available services. When we arrived, the sun started shining literally. So we enjoyed the nice garden with swimming pool, the terrace of our bedroom. The free available coffee in the room. All was decorated very modern and with nice personal details. And then the breakfast, WOOOOWWWW. Unfortunately far too much to handle. But delicious with cheeses, ham, eggs, croisants, breads, coffee/tea, yoghurt... No wonder that everyone is writing in the guestbook about their enjoyable stay. INCREDIBLE. We will certainly try to come back. Congrats go to Carine.
Cons: This is an obsolete question! ALL PERFECT!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place, decoration. Helpful hosts.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a charming b and b in a quiet part of Namur. It's a short walk to a restaurant overlooking the river. The b and b was clean, and we had plenty of space, with a lovely view of the garden. We slept well in the comfy bed. I used my schoolboy French but the owners spoke English - apparently the English "make good guests". There was a local bus if you wanted to venture down into the town.
Cons: Nothing for us.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely flat located on the hill in the surroundings of Namur Citadel. Free parking in front of the flat, with a nice spacious dining room and a lovely bedroom. Great welcome from the landlord and outstanding breakfast, with freshly baked brioches and lovely cheese.
Cons: Maybe a little bit too far from the downtown, you definitely need a car to get around, but it's no big deal.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The nice and very quiet surroundings.
Cons: My length is 1.80 m. I scraped my bald head against the ceiling (aow...) above the bath when I stood erect after showering. Suggested to at least put up a clear warning sign for people above 1.75 m. By the way, I did not like the fact that the shower head cannot be positioned above my head. I also found that, as in many b&b's, the lighting above the mirror is poorly positioned and/or insufficient to have a clean shave.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: breakfast simply one of the best of my travelling. flat and garden are amazing, quiet area. the host is very kind .
Cons: u need car to get downtown. rooms have short height, bathroom as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Run by a great couple. The hospitality and homeliness are wonderful. It is about 2km from the centre but the altitude and surrounding area make it a very peaceful location. Walks around the nearby citadel are superb. The cycling in the area is also fantastic. It’s a bit of a climb at the end of the day but oh, the views!! And there will always be cold Belgian beer waiting for you in the fridge. Heaven!!
Cons: Leaving!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional location and environment. A 10 min drive to Namur but still surrounded by nature and its quietness. The facilities are there to help unwind. Perfect for a romantic getaway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hard to believe that you're only 5 minutes off the motorway - peaceful, comfortable and incredibly secure (no need to unload the car). The welcome was warm and efficient. The room was clean and bright (but with total darkness from shutters when needed) and the shower-room was great. There's an excellent (if busy) Italian Restaurant about five minutes drive away - directions available if needed. An inclusive continental breakfast (by the pool as the weather was kind) was tasty and generous. Checkout is relaxed - we left about 11am, but could have stayed until noon. Great place - we'll be back.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing walnut trees all around They should tell you that the swimming pool is heated even in mid April!
Cons: Light switches irritating as they didn't click on and off
9.5 Excellent
Pros: You will receive a fantastic welcome from the hosts who are so friendly and multi-lingual. Michel is a chef and prepared 2 excellent main meals and desserts for us with local produce. The fridge is stocked with a great selection of drinks which you can take at your leisure on a written tab. The grounds are simply beautiful, parking readily available and secure, the pool clean and a good temperature, the Jacuzzi and sauna very relaxing with the bonus of a cosy dressing gown. The giant bed was amazing and the view over the pool and walnut trees sensational. Shutters keep the room in darkness should you want a lie in but with so much to enjoy you won't want to! Breakfast was also delicious with extra treats e.g. pancakes prepared by Michel each day. Thank you so much, we will return!
Cons: The accommodation itself cannot be faulted! The noiseraie is about 10-15 mins drive to Namur but the surrounding area is quite sparse so very few restaurants/ bars accessible by foot- all the more reason to try Michel's great cooking!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We like the property, and breakfest.
Cons: No one was waiting for our arriving and we need other attendants to help us to get in our room

Pros: Warm welcome, efficient assistance and a nice small flat. It is colored and fully equipped (e.g. boiler, hairdryer), including decorations. Beautiful sight, if the weather is nice.
Cons: It is located at 3-4 km from the center and it is difficult to move on foot (but the trip is worth). Some details can be improved (the curtain at the entrance door, place for personal belongings in the bedroom) .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ideal, away from the crowd and situated not far from the motorway. The host was excellent and stayed up till we arrived as we were stuck in road works, making us 1.5hours late. Breakfast we magical with fresh eggs from their own chickens as well as a nice selection of bread jams, honey etc. Would stay there again for sure x

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly hostess and lovely location. The breakfast was excellent and we were lucky they had too many apples. We could fill a bag, But that was too much. We filled a for a quarter;-), but still really generous. Next time year we hope to stay there again!

Cons: The bedroom a bit small.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The quiet and the fact it was a farm
Cons: The room was too small
7.0 Good
Pros: Of course the good price attracted me the first. It is out in the country, and it is a normal house, but I could see that from the info on the website so it wasn't a surprise. The host is warm and friendly and communicated in English as well.
Cons: Food and drink options at the house would help. The house is way out in the countryside, and the local shops were closed, which meant I had to drive some distance to go to an expensive restaurant. The family lives in the house, and when they have friends over it feels like you are intruding in a private house.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The chateau stands in beautiful grounds, lovely garden to enjoy. The room was super, really comfortable bed, tea & coffee in the room, also champagne - if you wished to pay €45! Excellent breakfast too.
Cons: Not really a criticism but we understand that the waiting staff are still training so there were a few mix-ups; this could have been partly due to our command of French being a little lacking. All the staff were polite & eager to please.
7.0 Good
Pros: Fantastic view from the breakfast room. Lots of good food options, both healthy and unhealthy! The Chateau was in a brilliant location but it was a long walk down into town. It is worth checking out the local taxi companies for a return trip before setting out! For those that want an authentic experience by the river, check out Guinguette Mobile between June and August!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Secluded, peaceful, lovely building, furnishings are clean and we'll looked after. The owner is very warm and friendly.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The peace and quiet and breakfast was nice but a typical continental one. You were able to use the coffee machine and kettle in the kitchen if you wanted a drink.
Cons: The hotel is tucked away at the top of a very narrow twisting lane but the room we had was right at the top of the building and it was virtually impossible to stand upright due to the sloping ceilings. The bathroom was shared but I knew that before booking.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Although basic it served our needs perfectly. Very comfortable bed. Very quiet location. Good night's sleep. Self service breakfast was adequate. Proprietor organised taxi into town for evening meal.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: This was really a nice surprise, and old industrial building redecorated into a great hotel. It was nice to see all the brick works that had been spared. It created a nice feeling in the rooms. Our room also had a strange - in a positive way - layout, which was fun to see. The only downside to that was all the different steps you had to take. It might have been difficult for some people to stay in the room we had! The bed was good. The bathroom had a funny sauna built into it. It would have been fun to try it, but it was about 30 outside, so we did not use it!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Breakfast is outstanding. Everything is fresh and delicious. The Dinner in the Grill was also great, only the fries arrived long after the Steak. The crew was very friendly, as always! I´ll be back! :-)
Cons: My room had a wooden bar at the ceiling. For a guy below 1,90 meters no problem, for me (1,98 meters) it was. The air condition for the Grill was right under my window, what was noisy until 22:00

Pros: Staff were amazing. Very helpful. Room was lovely. Tall ceiling comfy bed and pitch black with the curtains closed
Cons: Breakfast price was a little too much @€20.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Funny swimming pool. Nice rooms. Nice bar.
Cons: Breakfast at €20pp is too expensive, especially if you have a cookie and a coffee
7.5 Good
Cons: Room 8 - No shower cabinet (enclosed shower) in the bathroom nor shower screen in the bath. The room was clean however their was a "blocked drain"/ slight sewage smell.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I got upgraded to a more spacious room. Very friendly staff (I requested 2 pm checkout and they didn't hesitate). The room comfort was absolutely fine. I usually go to Namur for poker trips and this is just next to the casino. 100% recommend (even for price!) compared to all other hotels in the area.
5.0 Okay
Cons: I did not return for the second paid night. the room offered to me was a child's room, it was tiny and it smelled bad. the hotel changed the first night but could not for the second so I did not return. Despite contacting them in advance to ask if they could cater for Vegans, and receiving a reply confirming they could. When I went to dinner I was told they could not cater for me and that I should have booked in advance - which I thought I had done.. in writing to ask in the first place. the internet did not work very well and kept dropping. As there was no attempt to cater for vegans I did not go to breakfast, I just went to work, hungry. I paid for 2 nights but stayed only for one, I will never go back here again
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place is clean, comfortable and exactly below the Citadelle. Rooms are clean, quite big and well organized.
Cons: It’s not that I didn’t like it but it could be a negative point for others: the shower is separated by the room only with a glass. So you can see inside from the bed.
6.8 Good
Cons: The size of the single bedrooms is too small for a 4-star hotel
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Free parking outside, close to Citadel which is definitely worth a visit, friendly staff. Good place to stop enroute to Italy!!
Cons: Perfect for couples although not ideal for families. No high chair available and having to pay full price for a 2 yr old to have breakfast is a bit harsh!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great design hotel at a marvelous location under the Citadel and next to the river. Nice, clean and functional room, extremely friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. A perfect stay !
Cons: -
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast was too expensive for the offer/quality and it is a shame that the offer around the sauna is so limited/expensive.

Cons: See above

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the luxurious aspect of the hotel coming from the entrance to the reception. And I equally enjoyed the modern feel of the room which is well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the air condition was so much appreciated on that warm day!
Cons: The only thing that bothered me was that it felt very warm in the gangway between the lift and the room. The price for the breakfast (which I didn't take) seems fairly expensive (about 20€ if I remember correctly).
7.5 Good
Pros: Pol the attendant on reception was very very helpful in particular but the other staff were also helpful and friendly.
Cons: Breakfast. Bit disappointing at 12 euros. Fruit juice machine didn’t work and bread rolls were stale
9.5 Excellent
Cons: I could smell second hand smoke in our non-smoking room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, right by the station. Friendly personnel. Standard, decent breakfast. Nothing to write home about.
Cons: Hotel is feeling its age a little bit, so not the latest word in cleanliness or modernity.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a good location for exploring Namur. While there is no parking on the premises, parking is very close and discounted by the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well appointed.
Cons: We were pleased with everything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely air conditioned comfy room
Cons: Parking on street felt a little insecure
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were large, air conditioning was very useful. I needed to charge my battery shaver and the staff were able to find an adapter for me. For anyone travelling by train like us the location was perfect.
Cons: The lift is tiny! You couldn't even fit 4 people with cases into it and there's only the one lift.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, just in front of the train station. Clean and modern rooms.
Cons: The check in process took forever since there was a lot of people in the reception at the time of arrival. Reception area and entrance looks outdated
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good place to stay. A traditional hotel with tradititional charme. In the center of the town. Parking may be difficult. It is very quiet inside because of excellent sound isolation. And because of the name of the hotel, they try to speak a bit Flemish...
Cons: Everything OK
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is perfect!!

Located in Namur, Auberge de Jeunesse de Namur - Hostel is on the riverwalk, within a 5-minute drive of Castle of Namur and Tresor de Prieure d'Oignies. Featured amenities include a computer station, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The building is lovely and there are great facilities onsite, including table football, a BBQ, a bar and a nice terrace.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is clean and even in shared rooms, there is a private shower and sink. At the reception the man is very helpful. Everything seemed clean and breakfasts are fine with food/drinks getting replenished if they run out. It is approximately 15 minutes of waking to the centre.
Cons: If you travel by train, it is almost 30 minutes walking to the station, however, you can go through the city centre and do some sightseeing on the way. Therefore, my only objection is to missing personal shelves at the bedside in the shared dormitory. Also, despite being a "youth hostel", most of the clientelle are older couples or families with children.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a beautiful, clean hostel with lots of amenities. A short, lovely walk along the river to town. The staff were delightful, particularly Rémy, without whose recommendations and good conversation my quiet trip would have been completely uneventful!
Cons: Not a thing to improve in my opinion.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean place. Good breakfast. A little bit far from the city center but it’s so close to the river. So it’s calm and picturesque
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice riverside location offering a nice walk into and from town. Friendly staff and hostel in a fair condition.
Cons: Sadly the locking system on our dorm door did not work which meant we had to get a member of staff to let us in each time which was an inconvenience. Breakfast was on the basic side.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff, especially the guy who worked at night (forgot his name) were great. The free breakfast was great. Not in a touristy spot. The bar has a nice selection of local and Trappist beers to try.
Cons: Not too many backpackers passing through, mostly groups of sorts. The rooms and facilities were just average but not bad.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Facilities were great. Everything was very clean and comfortable!
Cons: A little bit far from center but still easily reached especially by bike and right on the river. Staff was good but nothing special. Difficult to meet people. Staff told me I could use the fridge and all my food had been gone through and smelled weird the next morning. Shower in dorm room but toilet was outside of room.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The kitchen needs a freshening up, I think. And I didn't like that other guests smoked on the balcony with door open. The smoke filled all the corridor. I think smoking should only be allowed outdoors.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: good surrounding by river with good breakfast included
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and clean hostel with a great view and friendly staff.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was perfect - The staff was excellent and professional, very welcoming, I really had for my money's worth -
Cons: I had an evening meal at the Brasserie, the meal was OK, the only thing is I was surprised some customers had a dog with them in the brasserie room - Maybe it is allowed in Belgium I do not know, anyway I was very surprised
6.8 Good
Pros: parking staff kindness restaurent
Cons: size of room decoration old in room
6.3 Good
Pros: Proximity from Brussels and Charleroi airport. Free parking. Room comfortable enough. Breakfast included.
Cons: Hotel equipents seems a little bit outdated. Working though.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very good location close to Namur, extremely nice interior, very good breakfast, discrete staff, private parking.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was decently good, and the restaurant seems to be OK, had a meal and beer. And I was satisfied with the size of the room and its orientation (view of green). But honestly, not much else went on the positive side here. Location is so-so...not central, but everything important in town can be reached from here (restaurant zone and university cca. 20 mins walk).
Cons: I’m uncertain where to start. I booked an executive room and paid over the minimum to stay at this hotel. At check-in, I was informed that my room will be at a corridor where all other rooms were being remodeled. They apologized for this, and I accepted that ‘there was no other room available’. Things happen. But staying at this place, I do have a few messages about this practice. Having no lights at all on a guest-used corridor is not OK. Open-ended wires hanging from the corridor ceiling is not OK. Workers could have been more considerate of the situation (with their music, singing, shouting at times). This was a full-blown construction site with constant construction noise. Room was at the far end, in the complete darkness. Dear manager, the correct solution is to designate this to be a work-area, close that one room and not advertise it available! Beyond this, I woke up for strong urine smell entering the room, as well as cigarette smoke of the workers. A distant stairwell also smelled like urine at times. Towels were old and worn, I tried 5 of them. Upon contact with water they had the rather unique smell that towels can get after being washed a 1000 times. They were disgusting. The room interior was rather worn – chair carpet, floor carpet etc... radio/alarm clock was dysfunctional. At 8.45am on my check-out day, the maids literally broke the door on me (construction noise suppressed knocking, if there was any), they came with the new sheets for the next guest, apparently. 11am is the hotel’s check-out time. Hotels like to stick to that, and so do the guests. 8.45 is well within ‘morning service zone’, meaning shower and breakfast time, packing time, whatever. Until guest checks out, staff is to keep out with the new sheets and stuff. All added – even without the construction - this place apparently keeps to noticeably low standards. Essentially the situation is that they have an almost monopole situation in town.
7.5 Good
Cons: The air conditioner was not working. It was a warm day and I had to keep window open in night where cars were passing by.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good, comfortable motel room
Cons: A little difficult to find at first, being on onec side of a dual carriageway and not particularly well signed.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern and well run. Plenty of parking
Cons: Road noise
6.8 Good
Pros: Convenient location for en route to / from Dunquerke. Hotel was quiet and clean. Dinner was reasonably priced in the brasserie.
Cons: The hotel was ok, but Gembloux had little character.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Had an omelette for the evening meal and it was excellent as was the salad. The guy on reception was very welcoming and helpful
Cons: The bed was too large for the room and partially blocked access to the bathroom The room was a single size - for a twin? The address shown on the Booking.com confirmation was wrong because after using it in the sat nav we were about 3 miles out at the wrong end of a long main road

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Property was extra clean and comfortable with great bed. I was well equipped with all a person would need for a short stay. Loved the decor and design of the room. Next day we even got the room cleaned.
Cons: It was little weird to have toilet without door. First night was quite loud from the downstairs restaurants, but we could use earplugs provided.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect! About a 10 min walk to the train station and you can see the Citadel from the window. Close walk to lots of restaurants and museums too. The top-floor room is so cute and has an amazing view.
Cons: Not really a problem, but the single room’s bathroom is a floor down from the room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location, very nice gesign, window view, comfortable bad
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cozy room with a nice view. A lot of small details like mirrors, good shower gel, teapot. Helpful host, she solved all my problems, thank you!
Cons: Couldn’t find how to turn on the light in the toilet, the switch there is used to turn on the shower light.
6.3 Good
Pros: good location. near a big parking building. right in the center of the city. friendly receptionist
Cons: the matrass is to thin and shallow. the staircase is very difficult if you have a heavy luggage
7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean
Cons: No door on the toilet
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed my room for adventurers, its wooden floor and tasteful decorations. Lots of windows gave space and air, and I also appreciated that the curtains kept light out in the night.
Cons: There were many restaurants at the street next to house and it was a bit noicy, as people stayed out in the bars both nights until 3 am. But the host had given some ear plugs to use, and that helped a bit.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: clean, comfortable, warmed
Cons: reception not available on Sunday = no possibility to keep the baggage after departure and collect it when needed as it could be usually done in most standart hotels (however, in our case the staff suggested one time but unfortunately it was not possible for us)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well located and nicely decorated, BnB city offers cosy rooms in the center of Namur, 10 min walk from the train station. Tea and coffee are available in the room, as well ad TV and AC. The street below is lively, but the windows offer good sound proofing. Ear plugs were available as well just in case.
Cons: There is no door between the toilet and the bedroom (!!!). While the toilet is at an angle and you can't see anything from the bed (thankfully), it's still very odd and disconcerting. You definitely need to share with someone you have a vey high level of level of intimacy with.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Central and beside all the bars and restaurants
Cons: A bit dirty and extremely noisy at night.
