Its a brand new hotel, lovely rooms and is absolutely spotless. Great value and would definitely stay there again.
Everything works, it is all designed with the traveller in mind. Clean, comfortable, right temperature, good food, well priced, absolutely a great functional place for one or two nights passing through. Don't expect tourist type facilities such as excursions, but expect first class facilities.
the rooms were great location was not that great to go to st michel
Very new, well designed and well decorated hotel. Not. In a walking distance fron center, but compensated by the installations. No, was all ok
Hotel was very clean and the staff were very courteous. It was ideally located near Fougeres. I would have liked outdoor tables and chairs as I always like to relax over a beer after a day's sightseeing
Clean room, comfy bed and a good breakfast Fair walk into town
No tea/coffe making facilities in room
The position to visit places on Brittany.
The location was excellent in what I felt was a traditional French family- run hotel. This is so much nicer than those chain plastic hotels one finds everywhere Our double room was quite small
Floor in hotel was very squeaky which must have annoyed those below. Room was small, but bathroom good.
Great location - good to have a family room Need some pictures on the wall -Room 202
A good value stop off hotel
friendly helpful staff, easy to find because of bright sign outside and central location Had old world charm the room was a little run down - parking was ok but only until 9am
central location: nice decorative touches in room and hallways: excellent breakfast.
Convenience for journey to Cherbourg from SW France
The room was very nice for the price. There was no internet connection in our room as advertised.
Rooms covered all needs,polite,helpful staff...Breakfast fantastic !!!
It was a beautiful hotel in a lovely peaceful French town. Absolutely perfect for a rest after a long day travelling with a baby and a 3 year old. We were made to feel really welcome. Lovely children's playground was a bonus! Will stay again for longer next time.
Value for money - good food and friendly staff. Modern facilities.
Restaurant has a good atmosphere and breakfast is fine. Construction works were going on during our stay
Friendly staff, easy to sit and have a drink either in bar or on terrace.Room reasonable and clean. Restaurant and breakfast good
Excellent hotel; our 3rd stay, hotel recognised previous customers. Good restaurant, quite room, excellent shower room, large off street car park. Happy to return. Excellent nightstop or longer stay.
Location. Comfort of room Good breakfast Unfriendliness of staff
The room for 4 people was great - actually 2 double bedrooms together, not just 4 beds. Sheets and blankets - update to duvets!
An excellent hotel. I was slightly concerned as the room was cheap and it was only 2 stars but I felt that it was excellent value for money, a good clean and spacious room with good facilities and an excellent restaurant attached to the hotel There was nothing that I disliked
A very helpful English waitress.
Very practical for an overnight stop. Room well appointed for the price, staff friendly, food good quality & value.
Very comfortable one night stop en route for ferry.
My only requirement was a bed for the night. The room was basic, clean and the bathroom facilities were good. In this respect it was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful The evening meal was a little disappointing considering this was France. There was plenty of food, the taste was very average - but then I did not book the hotel because of its restaurant, it was also late on a Sunday, nowhere else was open and the meal did fill us up
Very frienndly helpful staff, room was clean & functional. Free wi-fi that was easy to connect to There is no bar in the hotel. There is a restarant the sells drinks and you can sit there only if you are eating, but if you just want to have a drink there is no where to sit except in a little lounge area beside reception
Have stayed many times going to and from the Channel Islands. Quiet location. Campanile are always changing their menu policy and the current arrangements are not as good as previously.
Always reliable as a place to stay, and good stopover point for Channel Islands. One of Campanile's better hotels. Pleasant, quiet location.
Parking close to the room. Good breakfast. Location close to the exit of the town. Rather simple dinner in the restaurant.
Inexpensive and easy to get to. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was competent. The restaurant was quite bad, and not inexpensive. Do not eat here.
Very nice staff; lovely dinner: no
A truly fabulous setting and gorgeously restored buildings. The owners are very friendly and helpful and made us feel very at home. The gardens are stunning and the coast is only a short drive away. The chateau has lots of period features and a great breakfast room. As guests you have fairly free roam of the buildings and grounds. Also good for children (our four year old really enjoyed it). Thoroughly recommended.
All was fine just like the other times I was there. No lift.
The breakfast and the lady in reception was nice. The room was tiny, very old fashioned and noisy.
very kind elderly lady at the reception, helpful with everything
Being right in the centre of town.
close to the center no lift
The service was excellent. The manager/owner waited for our unplanned late arrival, called restaurants to assure we can have dinner and generally gave us a very good feeling. The experience continued with an excellent breakfast and a nice farewell.
Very clean, staff very helpful and breakfast excellent.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is very good - just a short walk from the old town.
It is a pleasant hotel where we have stayed several times. The owner is very agreeable and helpful. The service at breakfast was attentive.
Madame Proprietor was wonderful she is so friendly and had plenty of time to point out 'What to see in the area. We are defiantly staying again d&m france
We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we signed in to our departure, we would highly recommend the hotel for location and a warm hospitality.
Staff very nice; it is very well located; very low price
Had character and was very central
Very friendly and welcoming service. Fantastically clean and comfortable bed. We would have liked to have been informed about the extremely noisy Saturday evening entertainment in the theatre/square which went on until 2am. This was presumably for Bastille day. We did not sleep until 3am and then had to travel back to England straight after breakfast. Very disappointing and very annoying.
Everything is perfect!
Within a park full of art works
Fabulous large garden, friendly staff, comfortable, nice (but small) room. Dining hall is beautiful, the breakfast was real french, fresh and tasty. A bit expensive.
The staff were very friendly, polite and welcoming. The hotel is in a lovely building which used to be a mill, and is set in a large park with a river and small lake so it has a lot of character. The food was excellent. I was staying in the hotel annexe in the park and on the second day there was a leak which caused the heating and hot water to fail in the annexe However, I was moved to a large suite in the main building so all ended well. The park is not well-lit at night and the road to the hotel annexe in the park was too dark for comfort and safety.
Nice dinner at the dining room, very quiet in the Annex / good sleep Would like the Bistro open Sunday evenings
Old styled and very clean the building is about 500 Years old and very interesting. I hope they keep the price as low as it is. A perfect value for money.
We were three persons and were very happy that there were 3 separate beds for us in the room. Tea and coffee facilities in the room was a great bonus and breakfast included was a big plus. The bathroom although very acceptable and clean, the cabin shower was a bit tight.
A nice place to stay when you are close to St. Malo and Le Mont St. Michel. Friendly staff.
Lovely character to the building with fabulous stone spiral staircase, and exposed stone around the windows and chimney. Our family room was spacious with exposed stone, traditional furnitue and a french country feel. It had a second room adjoining with bunk beds in. My daughter loved sleeping in a characterful antique oak "princess" bed. It's a nice, family run, french country hotel in the centre of the village. It was too easy to speak english with the english owners, when I'd booked it for its traditional french charm. The village is very quiet.
nice size rooms great value for families especially as its two rooms and a lovely breakfast.
Lovely welcome, lovely people, nice town, good breakfast, beautiful hotel no
Lovely rural location in beautiful french village, arrived alot later than expected but owners kept open the restaurant open for us and made us feel very welcome. And value for money!! No
Nice people - really good value B&B!
Only 1/2 hour from Mont St. Michel (beautiful drive in French countryside... Trust your gps!). Free on-street parking right nearby. In town-center of medieval town-on-a-hill, Le Manoir is at center of town, next to the Hotel de Ville. Le Manoir is a 1500s building turned into a b&B. Andrew Neal is a fabulous host, and his wife Vanessa is a very good cook. Building has been updated with modern conveniences, like a private bathroom for each room, with shower stall. Beds are comfortable, and rooms are clean. Dinner and breakfast were lovely (breakfast was included in price of room). Absolutely charming place!!!! Nothing!
