Convenient walk to old town. Nice restaurant in hotel for dinner and breakfast. A little hard to find, there are signs on ring road if you are looking all the time.
Very relaxing, peaceful autmosphere in the hotel No
Bathrooms are large. Rooms are small
The location and the friendly staff made the trip enjoyable.
Clean hotel and very helpful
It's a nice comfortable hotel in a quiet location. The secured car park is a plus. The pillows were too soft and the TV too small and outdated. Flat screen TV's should be installed.
Comfortable, well equipped rooms. Staff, both reception and restaurant, were positive, cheerful and helpful. Good quality restaurant. Small window and low ceiling made bedroom feel a little oppressive.
it was easy to find .i went to nevers to visit the chapel where saint bernadette rests and this hotel was within walking distance .although it was ok for the night i would not want to stay there any longer the room was quite small.
Excellent breakfeast, more than full value for the price!! (Euro 7.50)
Clean and comfy. Nice brekkie with good selection. Convenient for town centre about 15 mins walk. Secure car parking. Room was on 1st floor at back of hotel just above delivery entrance (?). Got woken up at 6:00 AM by delivery truck.
Interior design, breakfast, helpful staff, There were no menu written in English in the restaurant; nobody speaks English.
It was clean, convenient and the staff were helpful and friendly The hoel was fine and suited our purpose well. The breakfast was value for money. But on the night of our arrival we had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was of indifferent quality and poorly cooked. I would not eat there again.
Pleasant owners, good adjacent resto, fair prices parking limited near entrance of hotel
pleasant reasonbly priced hotel
Friendly staff. Ability to open the windows. Clean and modern bathroom. Ability to make our own cup of tea.
There were plenty of street sign-posts throughout the city, so that it was easy to find. It has a very convenient location. It also has a very attractive rear garden.
the staff were very nice. we had a comfort room if this was the best room would have hated the rest of the rooms. the toilet had no priivacy , it was ok for one night, but that is the best i can say about it.
Proprietor, dining room/garden, proximity to city center. Very small bedroom (bump heads on gable) on third floor sharing bath and toilet. Hot and very loud at night.
Very friendly and helpful manager Room was very cramped
friendly, helpful, very nice location, swimming pool
a nice stroll along the river bank and an enjoyable evening meal
kind staffs, quiet, nice breakfast
Staff very friendly and helpful We would have liked to have had facilities to make ourselves a hot drink in our room. Towels were of a very poor quality
Swimming pool / tennis court Quite poor breakfast and sroom for 4 people was pretty small
The price was fair, the pool ok. The hotel is out dated. The personel is friendly. The hotel needs to be refurbished, but that will probably boost the price.
Swimming pool Not being able to purchase drinks during the day
Excellent setting & grounds. Basic but clean rooms. Nice pool.
Lovely location and pleasant walk into Nevers. Good breakfast buffet & friendly staff. Sprawling & long walk to rooms with lots of stairs and doors! Wifi wasn't working, but they were working on it.
Beautiful setting and courteous staff The room was a little dirty
Excellent restaurant ( La Gabare ) within 200 metres WiFi di not seem very cooperative
next time i stay with you i would like a shower not bath.but i will state this when making my reservation
Hotel was easy to find and comfortable. Ideal for an overnight stop whilst en route.
Friendly staff, close to centre.
service hotel staff. no elevator available.
we had 2 adjoining roms with shared balcony.
It is right across the street from a nice park and just down the street is St Bernatte I would have liked to park my car in a garage, but they either do not have one or it was full.
The silent and spacious double room at the garret against a small garden was good. American Express card not accepted and Visa card did not work for payment of the bill, so the payment had to be done in cash.
Its old-fashioned charm. Patron not aware of my booking upon arrival. Lack of a lift to the third floor via steep winding stairs.
Though this was a business trip that allowed for no time to sightsee, it was nice to stay in a place that had local character and felt like you were visiting another country. For some people that are looking for all the bells and whistles of a big chain, they may be disappointed.
It's location Having to go up 3 flights of steps with luggage.
We liked the breakfast, which included more than we often have for a French breakfast There were a large number of stairs up to our room although the view from the balcony was good.
It was close to St Bernadettes convent. Thats it really tired facilities that need upgrading. Staff were friendly. Facilities in the apartment was one ring cooker on top of a filing cabinet. No hot water very basic with dangerous stairs to the two rooms outside . No wifi in the bedroom only in the main reception.
The staff are well trained and multi-lingual. The location on the banks of the river is excellent. The terrace is striking. The room was spacious and of unique design. Also very good value for money. Highly recommended! Nothing
Good location for city centre. Located beside the river so good views available from certain rooms. Hotel was to a decent standard but thought it was slightly too expensive compared to others nearby.
Restaurant staff, facilities and food - excellent value. Room comfort and large bathroom. Lack of wardrobe and cupboard spaces and limited tv channels especially sporting.
Hotel was in a good location, clean with a nice bar area. bar very expensive & breakfast expensive!
Room was quiet. Bed comfortable. Good bathroom & shower. Pleasant view from window. Ample breakfast. Nice location. No facilities for making tea or coffee in room. No service (hot drinks, etc) after 9 pm. Flimsy and inadequate coathangers. Drab bedroom.
Excellent location friendly helpful staff.. Dining area was uncomfortably hot
Friendlyness and helpfullness of staff Could do with blinds on inside off bathroom
Great location for visiting le espace Bernadette; all the basics were covered - good tourist class hotel Not a "dislike" but be prepared that there is no elevator and the WC is in the hall, not in each room (nice sink & shower in the room). Staff started out great...the sign out front advertised a "patio", so I went to check it out. The man (operated by a young couple) came to my room a few minutes later to make sure I hadn't gone up the stairs to the apartment above the patio, warning me that it is private. I assured him that I had just gone to see the patio, and that I realized the apartment was private. His attitude toward me was bad after that.
This is a small hotel on a main road. We had a large room on the 1st floor with shower and basin and a shared toilet outside. Wifi was quite good but involved signing up for a “free hot spot” servic The corridor/stairs stunk of cigarette smoke, and the room was very noisy with little soundproofing and being above a main road near traffic lights there was a lot of vehicle noise late into the night.
The hotel was absolutley spotless and could not be faulted at all on it's hygiene. There was no parking, the breakfast was very limited for the price.
The washing/toilet area of the bedroom was separated from the sleeping area by frosted glass. There was a resultant lack of privacy. The toilet was very noisy which is OK in the day but not at night. A cat had it's bedding in the dining room and was allowed free access to the room during the meal.
Good location within the town.
It was located in a very central area accessible to most places i wanted to visit. The breakfast served each morning was quite meager compared to the amount charged for it. It was difficult to have a shower in the bathtub as there was no curtain and the water went splashing all over the bathroom.
was just five mins away from st bernadetes body so thats was good ,it was central to the city and was facing a park, the breakfast was good, the coffee was cold, staff very helpful. watch out for the cat i nearly sat on it, we stayed in a seperate part of the hotel so had to go out side and walk round the corner back to hotel for breakfast, but wasnt a big problem, would recommend it the only thing was the man running it was a bit scruffy looked like he could av done with a good wash and iron his clothes.
Excellent hotel. It was lovely to have such a comfortable room with all our needs catered for. The staff were friendly and helpful. A little oasis of a hotel whilst travelling We arrived on a Sunday so very few eating establishments open in the evening ( not hotels fault) but the staff did try to find us some where to eat
Easy walk to town Very poor run down motel-like accomodation - description by hotel totally inaccurate. In need of complete makeover.
Quiet but near town centre
nothing really, we almost abandoned the booking when we saw the state of it all. grubby, smelly, like a dockyard hotel. Stagnant water feature, dog mess in driveway, someone had replaced Perrier water in the minibar with tapwater.Breakfast food poor, coffee stewed, bread from day before.
The shower and a good breakfast No resturaunt, no bar, no tea or coffee making facilities in room and having to pay for car parking
Hotel has small frontage, car parking and staff are friendly, Rooms are dated but claen and well appointed, hotel is about 10mins walk from town centre and few facilities are nearby. Not easy to find but if you are not lloking for a large building more a sign on the wall then you should be ok.
Modern clean twin room , good size for two bikers visiting Magny Cours race track.Parking in courtyard, designed on a "Motel" format. Breakfast fair value buffet for 10 Euro.English spoken.
very nice small french hotel,Helpfull staff
in order to find thehotel please giv e simple clear directions and keep in mind that road names are very difficult to see when you arrive in a new town - a clear direction map as you cross the river would have been very helpful as we did get quite lost, we would apprfeciate it if the had an indication of which direction the hotel was location in i.e. North, South East or West -
Room excellent Restaurant closed so we had to go out to eat in Sancerre. We should have been told at time of booking that restaurant closes on a Tuesday. Very annoying indeed
Bedrooms were stylish Had feeling end of season. No heating and cold rooms, bathroom freezing, no welcome (owners away?) Food advertised as gourmet but very disappointing with staff that clearly wanted to go home early. Breakfast expensive.
The hotel and staff were delightful. Lovely village, easy parking. Sancerre and Pouilly sur Loire not far away. Glorious countryside – take the back road to Sancerre for great scenic views. Our room was warm and comfortable; the bathroom facilities fine. We met the proprietor/manageress on a number of occasions who was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return for a longer stay next time we are in the region. Certainly worth considering.
Comfortable and very well appointed hotel. Spacious bed and bathrooms. Excellent interior design and decor. High standard of cuisine and interesting wine list in restaurant. Hotel has no parking facilities for cars which have to be parked in the square opposite or in the municipal parking a short distance away.
A beautiful location in wine country with a cordial staff and excellent chef. The area has golf, biking from town to town by the river and canals just a delightful place. Highly recommend .
We stayed in a lovely newly apointed en suite room in this new hotel in the heart of hte village which is famous for its Sancerre wines and Crottin de Chavignol cheeses - nearby Sancerre is a delightful hilltop town
The small village where the hotel is situated was nice. The food was good but expensive There was no view from the room as the windows were covered at all times and could not be opened
Good food in Bistro!. Nice clean room! Web site did not specify need to book table in restaurant.
Clean & tidy. Staff were very helpful and polite. Lovely location. Breakfast expensive.
location very friendly,cleanliness& comfort.
Ambience and wonderfully tranquil.
Located right in the centre of Sancerre, very nice room and facilities and extremely helpful receptionist, Lidit! Thoroughly enjoyed stay!!
Charming atmosphere and room. Staff very helpful to us as poor French speakers. Well located in Sancerre.
Located in the middle of one of France's most lovely wine towns. Quite noisy rooms, with very thin walls.
the reception - very welcoming. the petit dejeuner was good, well planned. the room - simple yet all the comforts needed, the bathroom excellent. lack of parking for hotel but maybe if it were not so windy and cold that wouldn't have been a difficulty.
Staff speeaks good English and made reservations for us at La Tour. The location is excellent...a short walk to the town square. The facilities are very nice except for the haybarn smell of the carpet in the rooms and upstairs hallways. The carpet in the halls and rooms would bother those of us with grass allergies.
The bad point was the carpet which was to hard to walk on and extremly smelly
Lovely hotel, very close to the centre of Sancerre. Nice room, friendly staff. Limited parking in front of the hotel, although plenty in a nearby square. No restaurant for evening meal, although there are restaurants very close.
Le Panoramic benefits from one of the most stunning views of the vineyards of the Loire valley. Knowledgeable and helpful staff are willing to help shape an individual visit to Sancerre and it's environs. They have good connections to the various vignerons in the area and are willing to arrange visits. Valley side rooms provide the best view.
The Hotel is within easy walking distance of Sancerre and has excellent views of the famous vineyards.
The pool is a plus The hotel is inside the village while the description makes you to believe that it is in the country. Breakfast could be better, and street side rooms are exposed to noise from the busy road in front. The colour of the carpet in the room was depressing.
The view over the vinyards was great (although the vally was full of mist one morning!) Good breakfast. Convenient to walk to the village and to visit the vinyards of the area
Helpful staff Beds are too low
OK for one night
Location and price Musty smell in bedroom
The view of the valley! Nice small town - Excellent white wine!! We missed some chairs at the terrasse.. Perhaps we had got some if we had asked? Norwegians love to sit outside with a glass of white wine from Sancerre and look at the view! Even in November!
Views are wonderful across the vineyards, worth every extra Euro for the rooms with a view. Not at all clear that the Restaurant is a seperate business adjoining, and signs within the hotel are somewhat missleadind about how to get there. After several attempts were directed out onto the road and back in next door! Having said that, the meal was very good, and the views fantastic.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Ok location. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Just changed management and some works were still on going but did not impact on our stay.
extremely good service offered by the reception desk clerk
Staff were friendly This is not a 3 star hotel. Room was grubby and no hot water in the morning.
the first room i was offered was tiny and awful, but they did change me to a room with a terrace. don,t think i would have stayed if this hadn,t happened. hotel in need of decoration, breakfast good. in a location that had no eating places so not good for that,
Helpfull staff; good facilities; perfect diner for challenging price; extended breakfast. For continue travelling a perfect stop. Non
Despite being the holiday season, the hotel was fairly quiet and not crowded. The room was spacious and the breakfast reasonable Indoor Redecoration was in progress which spoiled the atmosphere
spacous room good breakfast booked a 3 single bed room got a double bed and single bed but they supplied a camp bed
A cheap place for the night during our road trip if you don't care about looks. Kind of run-down.
Functional facilities - very quiet hotel. Served its purpose Toilet in room could have been cleaner. Hotel did not notify of change of name/ownership making it difficult to find
Friendly staff Unable to identify it: Shabby: Middle of nowhere
Excellent location, clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast. None
Location was fine The Safari Themed Bedroom was rather overpowering ,but O.K. for one night!
Excellent host and staff. Nothing too much trouble. Location perfect our room was a bit dated but it is due for a refurbishment
the location of the hotel on the banks of the Loire is spectacular and I would imagine in the summer it is very special. The decorations of the rooms is also very imaginative with the use of themed rooms One down side was possibly due to the time of year we stayed (late October). The hotel appeared to be run more like a B&B with very little in the way of services and the need to know exactly what time you would be down at breakfast. I was a little confused by this as the breakfast appeared to need little prepartation.
Very nice hotel, interesting different rooms, very clean and slightly romantic with a vieuw on the Loire. Good advice: ask the hotel manager where to go for dinner. No comments
Well organized hotel, calm surroundings, very freindly manager and helpful staff. Can be recommended. This is not a complaint, but the price for breakfast(which is good) do not animate to multiple visits.
The owner is strongly focused on the custumers satisfaction. You can notice that in the room. We can absolutely recommand this hotel in a friendly village. Good breakfast If you have a light sleep, keep the window shut, it can be a little noicy from the local traffic. For us no problem. Go to the restaurant the hotel owner send us to and you wil not wake up. (great restaurant)
Visit wine producers No
I like the location and the romantic setting as well as the staff and the fact each room have its own ambiance and design back in time.
Good location, good room, nice furniture.
