Pros: Total experience from arrival to departure...perfect experience
Pros: Fantastic place, fantastic food, fantastic rooms, the service top and the staff/owners very nice and helpful. Value for money, a place to come back to. Thank you so much for this great experience.
Pros: Le Domaine de Dony is beautifully furnished from one local shop. We had booked our room, and on arriving were offered a different room if we wanted it. Both rooms were very different so it was a difficult choice, but eventually we selected the one with both a bath and a shower. Our hosts were very accommodating. Their restaurant was closed but a meal was cooked just for us, as we were the only guests that night. The food was different, and tasty. The mushroom soup with nuts and caramel crunch, has to be tasted to be believed. Very talented chef. The room was extremely clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable we had slept in. Highly recommend.
Cons: We could not fault the place or our hosts. There was nothing that we didn't like.
Pros: Beautiful view from window to the horizon. The legacy of the early 19th century in the style of a modern boutique-hotel. Up-to-date design of rooms. Perfectly equipped room with everything you need. Nice outdoor water-pool. Lovely Hostess and staff.
Pros: Le Domaine Du Dony has a wonderful ambience, the attention to detail is outstanding. A last minute find within 20 minutes of the airport was a highlight in our holiday.

The room at Balad'âne features a view of the garden, a mezzanine-style bedroom for children up to 15 years of age, and a private bathroom with a shower, toilet and hairdryer. A continental breakfast is available daily and it includes homemade products. You can also share meals with the host upon request. Balad'âne is 48 km from Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport, the A48 motorway is 10 km away, and free private parking is provided on site.
Cons: very basic breakfast, no TV in the rooms, no credit card payment, awkward smell in the house
Pros: Friendly welcome and a delightful country location
Cons: Didn't notice that they only take cash so I had to drive 20min each way to the nearest cash point after I arrived
Pros: It is very close to Grenoble Airport (20 min drive) The host was friendly and helpful The room is modern and has a boutique hotel look and feel. And the bed is big and comfortable The radiator ;) it was cold outside but it was warm in the room which is nice It was fun for children to look at the rabbit in a cage right next to the dinner/breakfast table, plus the donkeys, chickens and cat (outside).
Cons: The bedroom is split into two levels. The room has got an adjoining window with the bathroom, which is fortunately frosted glass. If you use the bathroom at night, the light beams into the bedroom (not good for your roommates). Additionally, there are 2 clear windows in the floor of the upper level of the bedroom, looking down into the bathroom, which isn’t private at all. Said bathroom isn’t en suite. The stairs to the upper level of the room are dangerous for small children. The radiator made on/off noise throughout the night The host warned us that he will be back home 45minutes after the beginning of the check in hours, so we had to alternate our plans to arrive later to the property. We were offered dinner at restaurant prices (20€ per adult and 10€ per child including wine) we were not asked what would we like or given any choice but we still expected a hearty meal for the money...it was extreamly overpriced for what it was (starter - microwaved pumpkin soup (in a mini bowl that is normally used for creme brûlée) ,salad leaves, bread, a bit of pate and several gherkins, main - plain boiled rice and also shop bought (not homemade) quenelles lyonnaise with sauce, desert - cheese (selection of 3) a piece of slightly burned cold apple pie and half a scoop of ice cream and tea, and we also drank about half a bottle of white wine). That was 50€ for 2 adults and 1child, who didn’t even like the quenelles, meant for the main he had a bit of plain rice! The breakfast was very sweet, no savoury option was offered (croissants (1per person), baguette, butter, home made jam selection of 4 (they were very tasty!!!) and for drinks there was tea, milk, hot chocolate and juice) In the listing it clearly stated that children over the age of 2 pay 15€ per night if using EXTRA BEDS. My 3 year old slept in bed with me but the host still tried to charge us 15€, luckily we discussed that and got our 15€ back.
Pros: The bedroom and the bathroon were many clean, very nice. The hospitality is the top
Pros: Friendliness and availability of the owner.
Cons: Kleenex in the room
Pros: Quiet beautiful rural setting Charming host Decorated to a high standard Fresh eggs, homemade jam and nuts from the garden for sale Donkeys and hens part of the family! Very dog friendly
Pros: Wonderful location, and the host was super friendly! Very good English (he said he speaks Spanish as well!). Very comfortable family room, with 2 single beds up in the loft. The loft is probably only suitable for children from approx 4 years, due to the steep stairs, etc. they thoroughly enjoyed the window from the loft to the bathroom!

Pros: Very helpful landlord
Pros: Great location for Grenoble airport , friendly staff lovely breakfast
Pros: Very comfortable and exceptional value for money. I needed a place to stay after a long drive near Grenoble airport and this was pretty ideal.
Cons: A later checkout and earlier check in would be good.
Pros: The owners were very helpful but didn’t speak English so used a translator.
Cons: The owners were lovely but went out during the day so no one around. It would have been nice to have refreshments available in the room as we had no car we stayed in site and had nothing to drink. The pool was lovely although under a cover like a greenhouse. The place is very remote a car is essential but as we had to stay there for a wedding ended up using cabs for eating out which was very expensive. The taxi driver was lovely and always on time and recommended where to eat. Again no English but used her phone to translate!

Grenoble is 40 km from Chez Giancarlo&Pepita, while Villard-de-Lans is 37 km from the property. Grenoble - Isère Airport is 7 km away.
Pros: Close to the airport, WiFi good and owner tried to be hospitable
Cons: Wasn’t what we expected at all... we thought this was a small hotel or Gite... this is someone’s house and your given a room there. It’s clearly a B&B and it’s not well represented this way on the Booking.com web site. The website is not representative at all and the breakfast is tea and a helping of croissants. Again not what we expected. The rooms are dated and I don’t recommend staying here.
Pros: The generosity of Giancarlo. The nearest restaurant is over 4 miles (6km) away, and he volunteered to drive us there. He also asked the restaurant staff to ring him when we had finished eating so that he could drive us back. I offered to reimburse him for the trips, but he refused.
Cons: The pillows were too soft and there was only one per person. The place was difficult to find until we used Google maps.
Pros: We got a last minute booking due to missed flights. Gianluca and pepita were very friendly and drove us to the nearest restaurant when stuck for dinner. They have a lovely dog called ECCO! Thanks again and would recommend this gite to anyway looking for a quiet getaway in the country side with easy access to the airport.
With a stay at Logis Hôtel de France in La Cote-Saint-Andre, you'll be 17.8 mi (28.7 km) from Palais-Ideal and 22.7 mi (36.6 km) from Chartreuse National Park.
Pros: The manager was so helpful. We were stranded in the snow and he left us a key at the front desk with a note ready for us when we eventually arrived at 1 am.
Pros: Staff friendly. Easy check in and out. Good location. Restaurant was excellent
Pros: Outstanding dinners by a gourmet chef.
Pros: Fantastic food but very expensive
Cons: Cockroach in bedroom 2 nd floor room no lift and narrow staircase Decor tired and room small Church bells very close and all night
Pros: Reception modern and clean, location central, parking easy, and restaurant also refurbished. All staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Room 16 (single) mired in the 1970s. Very old, tired and in need of the kind of modernisation evident in reception and the restaurant. Pink bathroom suite, and towels the size of a postage stamp.Detracted from stay - quite grim.
Pros: The restaurant at the hotel is exceptional and already worth a visit. Everything was perfectly made with ultimate care and inspiration.
Pros: Very good quality/price, friendly staff, quiet area and nice room. Everything is there for a nice stay.
Cons: Maybe some renovation works would be a big plus.
