10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff and great location
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The receptionist was kind. Although, I wish that after the lighting problem she had moved us to another room. I could have avoided the bed bug problem....
Cons: I'm conflicted about this review because we had a good experience in one respect and a truly horrible experience in another respect. The good experience was the receptionist who worked VERY hard to fix lighting problems in our room. An overload kept cutting off the electricity to everything in the room. After she could not fix it, she called an electrical who quickly resolved the issue. Kudos to her! The truly horrible experience relates to BED BUGS which bit the left side of my face and neck. (As I sleep on my left, they were in the pillow.) There are in excess of 15 bites. They are particularly painful and the sizeable sores all over my face oozed fluid and have now formed huge scabs. The doctor said they will likely heal in 3 weeks. Until then, I am dealing with terrible itching and burning, the unsightly scabs and will have scars which the doctor said the bites will leave. So, my advice is to absolutely AVOID this hotel. Due to the pain and problems, if possible, I would score the experience a total "0." Too bad.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spotless, good size rooms, excellent pools. Easy walk to port and restaurants.
Cons: Excellent overall.Only thing that would have been nice would have been a bar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everthing worked very well, hotel facilities were well maintained, we loved the pools, the room with kitchen facility, the super lady who serviced our room.
Cons: We were happy with everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very large and comfortably furnished in soft colours. Having a fridge was incredibly useful. We had a shared garden with a private terrace...lovely! This spacious room and its bathroom were spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking. The location was fine - about 10 minutes walk into the port and its restaurants.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location with restaurants and shops a short walk away in one direction and a nice beach a few steps away in the other. Staff are very helpful and we were supplied with a map and given local information at check-in, which was very helpful. We had a beautiful, very spacious room looking towards the sea and were delighted with the facilities. The indoor and outdoor pool, spa and hammam were fantastic and very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful. We're looking forward to returning for a much longer stay
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and very clean and the beds very comfortable. Just a short stroll to all the local restaurants .Although there was no bar reception would provide a hot or cold drink. Breakfast was excellent. Good secure parking.
Cons: Could have had an extractor fan in the bathroom and no air conditioning which was fine for us as it was not too hot but could be a problem in the warmer weather.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The seaside location is only five minutes walk to the working fishing port. The cleanliness of the hotel, rooms and the swimming pools is unrivaled. Ideally placed to visit the rest of the island.
Cons: There is nothing not to like.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The position of the property could not have been better. The beach only yards away, just across the road and walking distance from the very busy and popular town and harbour. Room was comfortable and clean which opened onto a terrace so was perfect for the dog. Best of all were the breakfasts! I have never seen such variety and so much of it with plenty of time to eat it.
Cons: The only thing missing was some milk for the tea or coffee, but there was a fridge in the room so we just bought a bottle.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Very close to the beach. Excellent bakery and market within three minutes bike ride. Easy going town with good value restaurants.
Cons: Watch out for extras! We stayed in the gite and were charged 200 euros for linen/towels - that might have seemed fair if they had been changed regularly, but they weren't changed once during our ten day stay. In the small print there is a charge for linen/towels, but according to Booking.com the charge should have been 72 euros. An undisclosed (until the final bill was presented) extra accommodation charge was put on top of our Booking.com quote despite the fact that we had on three occasions emailed that we would be four guests, not two (the only number that the website allowed us to enter). These extras had been added to our bill, and the money taken from our card before we had a chance to argue the toss. Booking.com relies on clarity and transparency so that you can compare quotes like for like; this place ruins the trust that is needed for that.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location, very friendly host, quirky and interesting breakfast
Cons: Runs an honesty system for drinks, which when someone is dishonest results in random charges against other people ( ie me), once we have left. Owner then refused to refund. Very disappointed and so would not return.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Flakey Croissants and the the rest Breakfast a site to behold over twenty items. Our rooms had Tea & Coffee facilities and Fridge this was unknown to us in France before. Room comfortable but a little cluttered. Its a short walk to the Town with a pretty fishing Port great restaurants which the owner Frederick was happy to recommend. Parking on site easy.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location on the sea ! Superb breakfast.
Cons: A bit crowded.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Space heater provided for cold, damp nights was welcome and needed even in June. Generous breakfast featuring local products was fantastic provided you're not a coffee drinker as this was undrinkable. Convenient location just steps from the main street. Small terrace outside the room with chairs and tables was very much welcome in the evening as sitting inside a dank, musky room full of clutter isn't to everyone's liking. And host made certain to reassure us that he is fine with blacks, immigrants and Muslims who are "normal", which was a nice touch.
Cons: Not suitable for anyone with allergies - this a stone house and the rooms are damp and smell musky, and potpourri is used liberally. Beds and pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, more akin to what you'd find in cabins at a campground. Owner has strong views on immigrants and minorities and doesn't think mosques should be allowed in France, so non-whites and non-Christians may not feel welcome here. Eclectic collection of knick knacks in the rooms will be whimsical and fun for some, while others will feel that they've checked into a flea market. Very expensive for such rustic accommodation at €110 per night even though this is facing the beach, it is a rocky beach with rough waters unsuitable for swimming.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The accommodation is private, in a great location on the beach. I loved breakfast on the terrace in the morning overlooking the ocean - magic! Also nice for an afternoon drink :)) The bed was super comfortable with gorgeous soft sheets. The accommodation has been thoughtfully provided with so many different toiletries beyond the usual shampoo & conditioner. Having your own capsule coffee machine in the room for a caffeine fiend was bliss :) The standard of the whole property is very elegant and there are many lovely places to sit outside by the pool or in the garden to relax. Taking the bikes to ride to the local village was fun and easy - we left our car parked for the 2 days which was a nice break from driving. Sylvie and Philippe who own the place were extremely welcoming and friendly and we would love to go back sometime for a longer stay.
Cons: Nothing. It was a lovely stay - merci beaucoup.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautifully positioned property, right on the beach. The owners have thought of every eventuality for their guests in order for them to have a peaceful and relaxing stay. Very convenient for sight-seeing using the bikes provided or for a good stroll into the local fish port of La Cotiniere where restaurants are aplenty. Sylvie's fresh fruit breakfasts' were amazing, as were the fresh pastries and hot drinks. The accommodation, and secure parking, was perfect and we were able to come and go as we pleased. Caesar and Marius were always on hand for entertainment! Thanks to you all for a lovely stay.
Cons: Nothing not to like!
