Pros: A lovely comfortable and clean apartment with in easy walking distance from central Concarneau Highly recommend this property
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay with just two small problems
Cons: We were not given information on what to do with our kitchen waste. We were expecting someone to attend to this so our bin was not emptied for 4 days. If you come back after 8pm you must use your key fob to open the door, unfortunately we were not shown the night door when we arrived.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A spacious apartment with a balcony and a pool, also a dining fascility.
Cons: A little far from the town centre (15minutes walk).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - Domitys La Chaloupe Bleue was exceptional. The facilities are superb, the room and complex was spotlessly clean and the additional touches were a very nice thoughtful touch. The towels and robes were the thickest/best quality I have ever seen/used. After a very tiring journey a swim in the pool was most welcome.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: superb
Cons: everything
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities roomy clean modern apartment easy parking
Cons: It is about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown

Pros: Very charming hosts, very good breakfast and convivial company at breakfast. We enjoyed the special dinner prepared by our host. Also, a certain elegance to the room and the property generally.
Cons: Pretty much everything as it should be.

Cons: nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very warm welcome from the owners. Having a kettle in the room was great. Very peaceful.
Cons: The room wasn't very big.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The French hosts were cultured, charming and kind. They have renovated the property with great taste and the rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is beautifully served with care taken to ensure you have everything you need. The house is in a very quiet location surrounded by country side and with nice lawns to relax in. Yet, only a short drive into Concarneau. Some guests cycled there. It is also ideally located for other areas such as Pont Aven. We will definitely stay again when visiting the area.
Cons: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. If looking to improve further the only suggestion I would make is the addition of a fridge for guests to use for wine and cool boxes, and possibly an honesty bar so that you can enjoy an evening drink in the lovely gardens.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The feeling of total relaxation, the company of hostess Mme Veronique, and the interaction with other guests at the wonderful breakfast
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect in every way, excellent host and hostess, cant wait for next visit.
Cons: not applicable
8.8 Excellent
Pros: What a lovely place. It is quiet, comfortable and welcoming. We were in the Laurier Rose room connected to the main house. The room was spacious with a large private terrace, a seating area and plenty of parking. The shower was excellent as were the quality towels but the bathroom was on the small side. We found the bed a little firm but the WiFi worked well. The hosts and the breakfast were both sensational and the accommodation is a comfortable distance to the tourist town of Concarneau.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed very comfortable and quiet location. A warm welcome on arrival.
Cons: Only flimsy curtain on glazed door in our room, Would greatly benefit from a blackout blind or curtain for privacy and to keep out the morning light when trying to sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The outside space is excellent for children; a large trampoline, swings and slides and fixed goalposts plus picnic table. Breakfast is a relaxed help yourself continental with the owner keeping everything topped up. Beds were super comfy and bathrooms immaculate. Very warm, friendly welcome and service throughout - includes the resident dog! Thank you
Cons: Nothing, honestly!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room is spacious and Sparkling clean. The beds are very comfy. Views are good and the surrounding is quiet.
Cons: The breakfast could embody better the farm spirit by introducing more local products than using supermarket brands:)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Breakfast excellent.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful and charming! The owners really nice
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room excellent, loads of things for the kids to do outside.
Cons: We booked 2 adults 2 children. However booking.com pushed us to order breakfast through them, which was communicated to the property as 4 adults. Child breakfast is cheaper but we were charged for 4 adults. So order breakfast direct when you arrive (this is as much booking.com's fault as the hotel's).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast..very peaceful location..very friendly and helpful hosts..well maintained grounds..beautifully decorated room..
Cons: A huge disappointment that the owners had no record of our booking on the system when we arrived at the property..the beautiful room we had booked through booking.com last October and had been really looking forward to, was no longer available. To be fair to the owners, they were very apologetic and provided with another room which was tastefully decorated but was nonetheless no match for the room we had originally booked. As a way of compensating us for the error, they gave us the room at a reduced rate and provided us with breakfast free of charge which we did appreciate. It was such a beautiful property in a very peaceful location that we would consider returning next year but what a disappointment that our booking failed to show up on their system.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, especially the bed.Breakfast was excellent. The owners make you very welcome. The overall setting was superb!

Overview Reviews
Located in Concarneau, Dormir en ville - Centre Concarneau is a 3-minute drive from Musee de la Peche and 10 minutes from Cornouaille Golf Club.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was immaculate and well appointed. We could not fault it. Also it is opposite a patisserie which was excellent for breakfast!
Cons: Only down side was that there is no designated parking.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent. Fab boulanger and crepe place just opposite apartment and a couple of good restaurant's just up the same street.
Cons: We stayed in studio which was very compact. There is just a sliding door between en suite and bed and living area. A proper closing door would have been better. Could hear when our neighbours got up in morning, making breakfast, up and down stairs etc.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very central but in a quiet side street, very well equipped & comfortable. Super clean. A really good apartment.
Cons: We are 70 & my wife has some arthritis in one hip so 3 flights of stairs to our room at any time but especially with luggage posed some difficulties. If using again will try to book very early & seek an apartment on a lower floor.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location Wonderful accommodation Really good communication Lovely host!! Would highly recommend
Cons: Parking a little difficult to find
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly positioned for all ameneties. Thoroughly enjoyed the old town. Good parking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This accommodation was quite new and fitted out to a very high standard. The location is excellent and we found ample on-street parking within walking distance although this may not be the case in very high season.
Cons: There is very little storage space which was ok for us as we were only there for 2 nights.
Stang Roz House - Quimper - Building

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Stang Roz House in Quimper, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Cathedral of Saint Corentin of Quimper and Museum of Earthenware Quimper. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We just loved everything, from the charming room to our wonderful hosts. Breakfast was delicious with Marianne’s home made jam. We were made to feel so welcome almost one of the family. We certainly hope to return to this very pretty Hansel and Gretel style house and meet Marianne and Pierre once more.
Cons: Absolutely nothing to dislike.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place. Very relaxing. You won't be disappointed. Quimper 10 minutes away - great medieval town. Note: if you are there Sunday and Monday then most shops are closed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Stang Roz House for 3 nights and we simply loved it. The house and the room are tastefully decorated with authentic details and the garden is stunning! It was very clean with a comfortable bed. Marianne and Pierre are the kindest hosts and the breakfast was the best we've had during our trip through France (delicious croissants, pudding, jams and fresh fruit). Also, they had great recommendations on sightseeing and dinner during our time there, such as visiting the city of Quimper or a beautiful marina nearby.
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an exquisite place to stay and you will be very lucky if you are able to stay here. It is not far from downtown Quimper yet seems set in the countryside. The house is old but beautifully decorated and modernized. The room is beautiful with a little coffee nook, large bedroom and lovely bathroom. The owner is friendly and speaks fluent English and has done the wonderful decorating with antiques. There is a private terrace outside the bedroom’s French doors. The linens are upper class and the bed is very comfortable. We loved the breakfast and our entire stay.
Cons: Everything is perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: House is in countryside and very quiet despite being close to the city. Room beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Pierre and Marianne gave us excellent suggestions on restaurants, local places to visit and drives in this beautiful part of Brittany. We felt it was like staying with friends rather than a normal B&B.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good food, v comfy bed, spacious room and very friendly hosts with perfect English.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everithing was excellent. The location, in a middle of a clearance, yet not too far from Quimper, the wonderful garden, the room, our terrace where we could spend our evenings after touring the Finistere, our kind host - special thanks for making us feeling like home
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Where do you start a review of such a special place. every thing about Stang Roz is stunning, but best of all was our lovely host,Marianne, & of course the dog & cat... we will be back ,hopefully to see the glorious garden in full bloom....Thank you again for everything,,,
Cons: Only complaint is that we could not stay longer,.Three days was not enough..

Pros: Gardens beautiful and peaceful. Great location for Quimper.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness and help of owner. Very obliging
Cons: A tv would have been appreciated and better lighting for reading
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything met our expectations. The room was large and comfortable. Annie, the owner was the perfect hostess and nothing was too much trouble. Her English was superb, so communication was perfect. Because it was a small B&B the conversation with other guests at the breakfast table, was very interesting and we learnt a lot about the other people's culture, who were multi national. Food was very good and some was home grown. Would thoroughly recommend it.
Cons: Nothing really. The bed was a little low and I had difficulty getting out of it, but that is not a negative comment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The ease of access, separate quarters, quiet & private. One of the best Chambré d’hôte we’ve stayed at in France. Great location in the Mélisse room. No dragging suitcases up stairs. Nice owners and good breakfasts.
Cons: Liked everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a truly lovely house and the garden is wonderful. Perfect as a base for touring the area. We stayed in a converted building apart from the main house, but I believe there are rooms available in the main house also. The room was furnished to a high standard and was very comfortable. Our host Annie was extremely kind and helpful and she speaks impeccable English. If you are looking to spend a few days in this beautiful area of Brittany, you won't be disappointed if you choose to stay here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome was warm and the owners very helpful. The room was big and comfortable and the whole atmosphere was calming.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Welcome cup of tea. Beautiful garden and accommodation in separate restored barn in garden. Lovely breakfast in main house and very helpful tourism guidance from Annie.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful house in a even more beautiful garden. The host was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic with home-made honey, fresh fruit and you could even have eggs from their own chickens. We really would have liked to stay longer. Next time..
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This was the most beautiful of all of the places that we stayed. The rooms and garden were perfectly enchanting, with sheep in the pastures out back. It would have been nice to spend an extra day here just relaxing. Annie was a lovely host providing us with maps, information on the area and a breakfast that kept us full until lunch including homemade gateaux from the region and honey from the hives on their estate. (Note: Be prepared to share the breakfast table with other guests.) We will definitely stay here again if we ever return to the area. It would make a great home base to visit the many interesting sites within an hour or so drive in every direction!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely older house located on a very quiet road. Charming gardens. Language was not a problem as Annie has excellent English. Rosalind and I had a wonderful holiday at Logis de Stang. The twin bedded room which we were given on the first floor of the house is actually a suite of rooms, having twin beds, sofa and armchairs in one room and in an adjoining dressing room the wash hand basin, shower, wardrobe and en-suite toilet. Annie looked after us very well and as the weather was not always favourable for a picnic in the garden, she kindly laid a table for us in her dining room, and even drove to the fish market at Guilvinec and presented us with a plate of langoustines for our supper.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: After a long drive we were greeted by Sylvie with a nice cup of French Tea, thank you Sylvie. Nice comfortable room great continental breakfast set in nice surrounding country side. Great for undisturbed sleep couldn't here a thing. This suited us as we were visiting family in Benodet only a short drive away :-)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - being upgraded to the garden apartment with lounge and dining area, spacious bedroom and bathroom and access immediately onto the patio and garden. We loved the bird singing, the large beautiful trees, the cared for garden, the cut grass and the meadow beyond with wild flowers and grasses. We loved having free use of good bikes. We loved the peace and serenity of the place. Sylvie, the host, was charming and helpful, spoke very good English but enabled us to use our limited French! We had the option of her serving our delightful breakfast on our private bit of terrace or doing our own. If you can afford it (11 euros per person), it's worth every penny. The Domaine is situated outside of Benodet but close enough to cycle on trails into the centre (less than 1 mile) and is an idyllic place to stay. We were the only guests but understand that most guests stay there to enjoy the peace. A bottle of Cidre was placed on our table at our arrival, a lovely extra touch which we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine. Extra touches were a very wide and exceptionally comfortable bed with spotless linen, clean towels each day and a wonderful spacious shower. We loved it and would certainly stay there again.
Cons: We had no English speaking TV channels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect relaxed location, feeling being at home. Nice and very helpful in suggestions for places to visit owner/hostess! We got a cup of fresh coffee with biscuits first thing after arrival!
Cons: WiFi connection could be improved.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The lady our host was so friendly and relaxed

Hôtel Ginkgo - Quimper - Building

Hôtel Ginkgo is centrally located in Quimper, a 2-minute walk from Museum of Earthenware Quimper and 13 minutes by foot from Cornouaille Theatre. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The building, location and hotel furnishings were very nice and clean.
Cons: The lack of passion. The service and breakfast was passable nothing more than that. And the young girl working at the desk found extra requests disturbing and showed it! The local bed and breakfasts show more passion for their customers. With different management, this hotel could score a 10!
6.8 Good
Pros: Easy walk to town. Good parking options. Beds comfortable.
Cons: Rooms are as per photos but need snagging, the shower leaks onto the floor. No milk with the coffee and only fruit teas on offer in the room. Not a lot of storage in the room and no mirror in the room - just the bathroom. Early check-in not possible even though we saw guests leaving at 11.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in an old priory, about ten minutes away from the town centre. It is a beautiful walk along the river. The place is lovely decorated. I needed a reading lamp for the room, and ist was immediately provided.
Cons: There is no fridge in the room. We would also have liked a mirror in our room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the very best hotel in our 5 week vacation. Clean, comfortable and friendly. Lovely and helpful in every way. Great value and we recommend to all. Happy Aussies
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very modern hotel. At the time of our visit it was exceptionally hot so we upgraded to an air-conditioned room. This was very comfortable and spacious. The air-con was very efficient and controllable. The staff were friendly and personable. The free car park was on site and had plenty of space.
Cons: The location is a good walk from the town centre. There are some bars and restaurants nearby but you need to go into town if you want a good variety.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Probably the cleanest room I have ever had. Good location nice interior design.
Cons: Nothing really I would definitely recommend staying here
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was quiet and picturesque alongside the River Odet, and the private parking was an additional bonus. Breakfasts were good and varied, fresh fruit and local sweet delicacies featured as well as cheeses, ham and different types of fresh breads and cereals, plus juice, tea and coffee.
Cons: It seems mean to complain when the staff are all so very friendly and helpful, but this place is very much a work in progress, newly opened and needing some refinements - for example the rooms lacked a safe or mini-bar, and there were no shower caps either. Our bathroom had a lovely stone basin but the plug to retain the water didn't work (it should have turned into place but was jammed open - we reported this and were told it would be sorted but somehow wasn't. We also asked for a glass of rose, advertised on their bar list, one afternoon to be told they had none, as was the case with Earl Grey teabags. All little things but not really acceptable in an hotel of this standard. The rooms are very spacious and the beds and bedding are top quality, helped by the aircon which was much needed, so it's a case of watch this space....and hope the improvements come sooner rather than later.
6.3 Good
Pros: Quiet place
Cons: First hotel ever, which doesn’t offer eggs for breakfast! We asked twice. In a family suite is a big comfortable bed for 2 and 1 uncomfortable sofa.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in the location of a former Abbey near the river and an easy walk from the centre of town. The rooms are furnished in a modern style. We had booked a superior room but were moved to a junior suite as there was a problem with the bathroom. The receptionist handled this with polite and concerned attention which we appreciated. The garden area at the front of the hotel is very pretty with nicely placed seating. The beds were deeply comfortable and the quiet provided an excellent atmosphere for a deep restful sleep.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean and welcoming. Staff was nice. Good location

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property was exactly what we were looking for. It was far enough out of the town to be peaceful but close enough to be very convenient. The room was very comfortable and the hosts charming and so welcoming. Breakfast was great. Thank you for making our stay so memorable
5.5 Okay
Pros: The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The owner was very friendly and helpful but it was lucky that I spoke a reasonable amount of French because he did not seem to communicate easily in English. The house and bedrooms were really well furnished and every bedroom had a different theme which was executed very artistically. Overall a very nice hotel
Cons: It was very difficult to find. The bedroom itself was quite small. I did not like having breakfast at a big table with others. There were other rooms in a separate building across the garden and the guests from there were looked after by a different person and had breakfast in a separate breakfast room at separate tables. This made me feel there was an us and them situation and generally I did not understand the setup at all. We were offered breakfast outside but the tables and chairs provided were not enticing. The property could be improved by the provision of bottles of water in the bedrooms and some information on the local area in languages other than French for foreign visitors.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean, quirky furnishings, nice staff
Cons: Maybe a little far out of town, not much information about the area in our room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very warm host. Cosy rooms. Breakfast at one table together with the other house-guest. You can connect quickly and exchange about experiences & tips for activities nearby. Breakfast typically starts at 9AM. We initially booked the room Marie-Jeanne, but as it does not have a separate shower and only a bathtub within the room (we did not realize that, when we booked the room) we asked for an alternative room incl. a separate shower. The hosts were very kind and made it possible to switch the room without any issues. Additonally, the host helped us to move our luggages.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location whit “ charme “ in a ancient property near a beautiful castle
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property itself is really very beautiful. Old trees a nice pool and absolutely calm. The right place to relax. Rooms are well taken care off but you need a car to go out for dinner or lunch. Would recommend it any time.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Wonderful garden and house.
Cons: Very small room, not possible to open the windows!!! No a.c . No body could speak to us in english.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is ideal for Concarneau. There is tasteful decoration in keeping with the property. The cleanliness was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and the heating was kept at a sensible level. The shower was also very efficient.
Cons: Perhaps an extra light on the mirror in the bathroom for us ladies.

Pros: The room and all the facilities seemed very clean and new - probably recently refurbished. Very good and efficient service.

Cons: Little space for luggage; no cupboard for hangers; shower cabine and tap in the room - for me a bit strange

Pros: Our accommodation was superb And our hostess Marilyn was most attentive and helpful
7.0 Good
Pros: Very clean near to beach. Easy walk into town hosts carried luggage upstairs also booked golf for us. Lovely terrace and hot tub.
Cons: Didn’t like shower and wash basin in bedroom. No chair. Had to hang out of window to see sea view. Bedroom on top floor. Wouldn’t have booked room S we are both in our eighties. Kettle available but had to supply our own milk and tea bags. Thought breakfast expensive.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is small and the owner most friendly and helpful. The room was clean and serviced very well on a daily basis.
Cons: Nothing in particular - excellent value for money. This is a small hotel and an ideal base for touring the local area of Northern Brittany.
9.5 Excellent

Pros: Staff extra friendly and helpful
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. I arrived a little late but he cooked a chicken dinner when I told him I was too tired to go out in the car again. This is the kind of service you really appreciate when travelling alone and while on the road for a long stretch. Great stuff!
Cons: It was very pleasant and there's little bad to say about it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel, with very original nautical decor, lovely personnel , a sea facing terrace with loungers and direct access to a white sand beach. Our room was extremely comfortable and had a lovely terrace.
Cons: We loved everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Right on the beachfront the location is excellent - and at the better end of the bay where the sand really is white. The hotel is quirky in that the interior is fitted out with the salvaged fitments from a capsized ship. The bedroom was effectively a ships cabin and this is replicated throughout. Beautiful marine themed artwork everywhere - mostly available for purchase. Staff very friendly and helpful .
Cons: It would be better if there was parking .
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Style of the hotel, location, service and staff everything balanced from quality point of view. We stayed one night only because of the price. If we could we would stay longer. Terrace with sea view was the best we experienced at Brittany and lady at the receptionist was extremely helpful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right on Concarneau beach. Our room had a deck that allowed us to view the ocean. The rooms was quite large and quiet. The staff was extremely helpful in general and especially in aiding us with taxi and train reservations. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied.
Cons: Can't think of anything.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Central hotel location & nice room layout. The use of Rituals toiletries throughout the venue has been a welcome surprise and, for us, an added bonus providing a touch of luxury and wellbeing.
Cons: Room was too small for our needs, and could not really accommodate 3 adults as suggested. The hotel does not offer any parking arrangement, and it could be difficult to find a spot to park in the nearby streets, though we were lucky in this respect most of the times.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good rooms and staff
Cons: The coffee at breakfast
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was very close to the both the train station and the town centre so the location was ideal. Also the room is quite big and well layed out
Cons: The room was very hot and you do get a lot of traffic noise first thing in the morning if you have your windows open
6.3 Good
Pros: Hotel was within walking distance of old historic centre.
Cons: We asked for a quiet room but were given one on the first floor overlooking main vehicle street and had to contend with loud traffic noise throughout the night. Hotel was not air conditioned and could only open windows by first opening curtains. It was either no air or no privacy! Breakfast was ordinary and the most expensive we had in 2 weeks in Brittany. Not sure why this hotel is rated 3 stars. We have stayed in many 2 star hotels in Brittany that were far superior.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was very central, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and there was a great selection for breakfast
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The kideness of receptionists: we travelled with a 9months old baby and they gave us a triple room with no extra cost, they warmed a baby lunch with a smile and these behaviours are so important when you travell with a kid (when everything is more difficult/stressful) The location is great,5min walking to cathedral. Dont worry about parking,it is true that the hotel has not parking but there is a public parking next to the hotel, there is not an issue at all Thanks for your hospitality
Cons: There is not air conditioner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Receptionist was very nice and helpful; they provided us with a map, and recommendations for some restaurants of varying cuisines and costs
Cons: Room was a bit hot; I do hope we weren't being silly and couldn't find the air conditioning!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very well located for attending the Quimper Cornouaille Festival!
Cons: No kettle and cups in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was ok and specifically the personnel was speaking good English and was really helpful
Cons: Nothing to complain about

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is very nice, the people at the desk are very good and has a good energy. After that you realize the staff is a little green But I guess it goes with the area
Cons: The room needs a little more love and attention
7.0 Good
Pros: Good base to explore Brittany
Cons: No air conditioning
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely apartment in a great location for the beach but too far to walk into the town.
Cons: We were kept awake until the early hours of the morning, on our last night, by a group of men shouting, talking and laughing.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a self catering apartment so we had a lounge as well as a bedroom, so plenty of room. The balcony over looked the car park and had a side view to the sea, but we could see our car from there too, which was good. It was a 20 min walk into town which we like for the exercise. Also very safe and a very nice town with restaurants, bars, live music, plenty of shops and the walled city to walk round.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: No air conditioning
10.0 Excellent
Pros: New, well equipped, big tv with lots of channels, good bedding, across from beach.
Cons: Could hear people walking above
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location by the beach, spacious apartment. We liked having a kitchen and ate breakfast there and cooked one evening meal. Nice to have a bathtub as well as a shower.
Cons: We stayed there 3 years ago when it was new; today it is looking a little worn and probably needs redecorating. Also there were things missing; we had no outside table & chairs for the balcony (all our neighbours had them), we only had two non matching wine glasses and other kitchen equipment was missing and no hair dryer.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern, spacious, very close to the beach, kitchenette, good water pressure, separate toilet, large television with many channels, good Wi-Fi, Towel heater in the bathroom.
Cons: A funky smell in the hallway, maybe emanating from the wallpaper?.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. The apartment was comfortable and well appointed. The beach is very good and just across the road. The town with loads of restaurants, bars and shops is a 20 minute walk away. The plateau fruit de Mar is wonderful in all the restaurants.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We booked a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was a good size but pretty basic. It had a large balcony with a great views west towards the sea, so we saw some great sunsets. It was a 30 minute walk for us into the centre using the route following the beach, there is a quicker way through the housing area. We found some great restaurants in the town. Our dog was made very welcome and there were lots of areas for walking him very close by.
Cons: Not being able to get our car nearer the apartment block entrance to unload, the part of the car park at the block entrance appears to be for permanent residents only.

7.5 Good
Pros: Staff were very accommodating, came up with a plan to allow me to access to my room and leave my luggage thereby enabling me to go walkabout on the Sun afternoon when reception was closed.
Cons: It was clean but a bit basic.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location of Hotel De La Gare is perfect for visiting Quimper. It is a quick walk into the city center and the train station is right across the street. The staff were so helpful and kind. From welcome coffee & cider to answering questions about the area we felt like the staff appreciated us being there. The room is nothing fancy but it is comfortable and has everything needed for a stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had recently been updated. Everything was clean. There is a great pizza spot out the front door, turn right and go about a block & a half. There are also other places to eat and again, city center is a very close walk along a very pretty canal. Parking is available for an extra charge and is great for all but probably much bigger vehicles. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Cons: The staff are not available after 10PM during the week and 9PM on Friday. We had some issues with our internet access and one night our heat and thankfully noticed before the desk was closed. Also, the internet required repeated logins if you stopped using it for a while.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, pleasant hotel. Quite surprised at the extent of it, as from the road it looks quite small but the new bedrooms at the back are very nice.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This property is directly across from the Quimper railway station. It is immaculately presented, the décor is fresh and coordinated with some lovely art work in the public areas. My room was not large but had a full sized modern tiled bathroom and a desk located next to a large opening window which had an electronic shutter. Excellent value for money, lovely staff, comprehensive breakfast choices and a stylish fit out. Certainly recommend it.
Cons: The room does not have air-conditioning or a mini bar fridge but the electric shutter means you can sleep with full security and the window open. Bar fridge wasn't really missed and the little Krupp coffee maker makes excellent hot chocolate.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Ideal for one night stay. Great bars nearby. It was raining on the night we were there so took a chance with a nearby restaurant which was fantastic.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Simple. Quiet.
Cons: Funky shower. Little flat space for putting stuff.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: the reception desk is really kind. one example, I lost passport at Paris airport. I had bid difficulties to contact them directly. She helped me to find the right contact. Not only this story, I had comfortable days whole of my 3 days stay.
Cons: the wifi is less faster than I need.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel calme. Confort correct. Personnel arrangeant.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming location. Lovely atmosphere. Great breakfast.
Cons: More flowers in the garden.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfasts very good, scenery over the lakes fantastic, the owner Mon. Hubert very friendly, attentive and helpful. The bedroom typical French style simple furnishings, but roomy, bed very comfortable and bathroom very modern and spacious. The manoir was very grand to look at, very quiet with no noise and the flowers very pretty, plenty of parking and extensive areas to walk.
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: it was superb nothing to dislike.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful setting in an old manor house. Very relaxing and peaceful A good breakfast outside on the terrace A good sized room
Cons: Very few facilities. Slightly tired decoration
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location. Setting. Owner.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The peaceful location. The atmosphere. The terrace overlooking the pond. The opportunity to stay in a period building. The handsome furnishings, prints and paintings. The warm welcome and ready attentiveness.
Cons: The price of the breakfasts. The duvet on the bed; far too warm for the time of year (July).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The house has been in the same family for eight generations, built on the profits of trade in the Far East like s many places in this area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and (wonderful) no television / radio. Wifi is OK. The Manoir has 16 rooms with the ones that we saw carved out of bigger spaces. Reasonably well done but if money had been permitting I think the conversions could have been more in keeping with the character of the house. The owner was charming and could not have been more helpful. Remember there is no restaurant but there is a plethora of decent restaurants near by. Good breakfast.
Cons: Could do with one or two arm chairs in each room as space permits so that one can read in comfort rather than by lying on the bed. Good bedside lights would also be welcome. Outdoor, comfortable, deck chairs or similar would be welcome as well rather than the stark metal ones.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden, spacious room.
Cons: If a TV screen were there, it would be better.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Setting, position, space. Quiet surroundings but accessible to several places of interest nearby.
Cons: Breakfast was good but a bit overpriced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very relaxing time in the quiet surrounds and enjoyed the visiting the towns nearby.
Cons: NA
