9.6 Excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The host was very kind
Cons: It was not possible to swich on Tv.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and modern, with a truly comfortable bed. Breakfast is delicious house made pastry, among other choices, and very good coffee. There’s plenty of parking. The grounds are beautiful. A bit of road noise, but not during sleeping hours - and how else would you get to a hotel if there were not a road nearby? Wifi seemed inconsistent although perhaps it was my VPN app. The true value in a stay here, though, is the warm and friendly owner, Franck. At a loss for what to do one afternoon? He can help. Where’s the best place to go running in the morning? He’s got a map and a plan. A recommendation for a great meal on Porquerolles? Sure, no problem - and the weather forecast and the ferry schedule appear by magic. If you want to go hiking he will equip you with a pack, a bottle of water, and bread for sandwiches. No way you get that level of service at Best Western Hyères. Strongly recommend a stay here if you want a base to explore the region in the hands of a professional.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of those fantastical experiences you have once in a while - hopefully - where the owners are the loveliest, most generous and warm-hearted people you could meet; who make you feel part of the family and yet the space they have created is a wonderful showstopper full of amazing art and relics. Incredible hospitality, facilities, breakfast, discussion and comfort. Absolutely must visit Hyeres and stay here as it is an amazing city.
Cons: Everything was faultless!

Cons: I loved everything, our hosts were kind, friendly and attended us very very well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big, spacious room. Very homely with generous decor (bit of a boudoir really). Lovely ensuit but the "piece de resistance" is the inclusive breakfast! Yoghurt with sprinkled nuts, croissants, bowl of figs, dates & almonds, magical smoothie, orange juice / tea, coffee etc. I'm sure I've missed something! Very opulent. Also, location is great for restaurants / bars
Cons: Nothing to not like really.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hosts, charming couple who were helpful in all respects.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Minouche and husband are very kind, like they are from some fairytale

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice host, great location, a little off the main street and quiet. Room of high standard.
Cons: Wifi did not work in our room, only in the main house. Price on the higher end.
7.9 Good
Pros: The property is very nice and feels homey. The pool area is beautiful and breakfast is really good.
Cons: The couple that runs the B&B are nice but a little bit too much on top of us. It felt a little like they treated us like their kids, telling us where to sit and running after us with sheets to cover their chairs before we were allowed to sit down. They mean well and we're really nice but at some point it felt like we were invading their home.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything. Great room, very clean, nice pool with a massive variety of very comfortable seatings and loungers, WiFi was good...
Cons: the way the breakfast was set up was a bit over the top for me. Everybody sits at the same great table. Hardly any privacy for people who prefer to be on their own in the morning.

With a stay at La Reine Jane in Hyeres, you'll be by the sea, within a 10-minute drive of Parc St-Bernard and Hyères Plage. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and a meeting room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was awesome, and the staff was really pleasant. The design was pretty interesting. Great balcony. Very close to the beach (but we didn't really go because our stay was too short). The dinner was also good, with excellent oysters, among other things.
Cons: I didn't like the way the bathrooms were. I know it's stylish, but not having ceilings over the dividing walls of the toilet and shower is not something I like. Not a big deal though.
7.1 Good
Pros: Close to beach Good breakfast
Cons: Very average bathroom and room was probably over priced
4.2 Okay
Pros: breakfast very good! dinner excellent, good chef!!
Cons: Asked for a table for 2 for dinner. Response: not possible, too full. Arrived 1st in the dining room. Table for 2? Sorry, all reserved. Shower in room 7 leaks water all over the floor! No elevator.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness and flexibility staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location close to the beach.
Cons: Toilet and shower were built into the room in a relatively primitive way, which did not give you much privacy.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The weirdest thing I’ve ever seen in a hotel, toilets into the room with no privacy, it’s just disgusting
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff is amazing, and the restaurant is excellent
Cons: Lack of Closet in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, great location, everything you want and more.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the location and our balcony with a view over the boat basin and bay. It was an interesting artistic themed hotel with parking right outside the hotel. A selection of restaurants and bakery are a short walk away and the beach is right there.
Cons: The room configuration was a little odd; shower and toilet fixtures were on opposite sides of the room. The hotel location was perfect for us because we wanted to explore the region, but it is only driving distance to the town. No elevator might be a problem for those who prefer an elevator. The hotel served a lovely meal - one of our best.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and right on the beach
Cons: Nothing it was great
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: Very low value for money. I am writing this review from a 4 stars hotel in Menorca. My large room with amazing sea view and great breakfast is cheaper here than the very basic room with no view I got in Hyeres!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good location and friendly staff. Apartment was clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen.
Cons: Space in the apartment was pretty tight for a family of six. We had to clear up dog's mess from the terrace area outside our apartment on a number of occasions.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice beach and the hotel was just in front of the beach. Nice staff.
Cons: No AC. A fan.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was very nice. The location was close to the beach.
Cons: We needed some aircondition, the fan was not enough, the room was very hot. The room needed to be cleaned better. The doors and the cabinet needed to be washed, it was sticky to touch it. We did not have much space to put our luggage.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Laid back, view from on to lovely courtyard and close to beach for swimming
Cons: Size of room and shower did not drain well
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location for a peaceful holiday. A car is essential unless you just want to arrive by public transport and do little else other than go to the beach. Basic and clean, with fantastic sea views. Good value. Nice beach straight across the quiet road which is not busy. Lovely and clean with clear waters. The marina area has plenty of restaurants which is about a 10 minute easy walk. The people running the apartments were very pleasant although conversation was difficult as they speak little or no English but we managed to communicate ok. The area feels very safe. Overall recommended.
Cons: First impression was that the apartment was a bit too basic and a little tired, however once past the initial impression it was fine and clean. Everything required was available in the apartment, although perhaps some new equipment and utensils would be nice to see. There was a dodgy looking stain on a blanket which I wasn't very happy about, although it may well have been nothing - but even so the owners would have been better to discard the blanket. I could have been unlucky, but I got about 35 mosquito bites, which were really bad and itchy. However it could have been our fault for one night (it was very warm) for leaving a small hopper window slightly open, with the toilet light staying on over night. From then on it seemed we were discovering loads new bites every day. Not the fault of the apartment of course, but beware as these little insects drive you mad with the itching.
Hôtel Lido Beach - Hyères - Building
11
8.7 Excellent (234 reviews)
Overview Reviews
This comfortable hotel is located in Hyeres. There are a total of 18 accommodation units at Lido Beach. No pets are allowed on the premises.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A very informal and relaxing place to stay right on the beach. Great balcony, wonderful restaurant. Free parking just outside the hotel. Shabby chic in the best sense of the word. Could have stayed there for weeks.
Cons: Nothing really.
7.9 Good
Pros: Laid back (a bit bohemian in character) hotel right on the beach. Comfortable to go from beach to beach chair area to restaurant and through lobby and common area to rooms in swim suits. Yet still had an elegance. Restaurant was good with tables right on the beach as well and were able to accommodate our late arrival. Plenty of beach chairs, wide shallow beach perfect for all water activities and for children. Stand up paddle boards available. It was hot during our stay, but with the fans operating all day with windows open and curtains drawn closed, rooms were manageable for sleeping, but definitely on warm side. Easy walking distance to harbor area with many restaurants and cafes.
Cons: Could use more umbrellas for the beach chairs to go around. One in our group had the room with external private bathroom. Because of the need to lock room and bathroom, coming and going , that was a bit inconvenient. But, overall, this room and the other standard rooms were a good bargain for being right on the beach. Internet also not working well here. This was a common complaint for the small boutique hotels we chose throughout our trip to France.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bohemian style. The location to the sea and Porquerolles. The homely feel of being in someone’s beach house. The relaxed vibe and atmosphere. The view; you’re right on the water edge. The food was exceptional.
Cons: It was expensive for a 2 star hotel. Is a bit far away from other amenities.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff very welcoming and helped us throughout. Food was good.
Cons: Really difficult to park ones car. The hotel says it has 12 parking spaces but, sorry to say, that is not the case! Had to park about 500 m away and wait for a space to become available which it did. It was the weekend in June and during the week things should be quieter.
Residence Les Mandariniers - Hyères - Building
12
8.8 Excellent (76 reviews)

Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A shuttle from the airport to the hotel is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
7.1 Good
Pros: The managers were very friendly. The location was very handy for the beach and also a little shop and Pizzeria just next door. There was WiFi, the most important feature if you travel with teenagers. The room was sunny and the walls looked relatively recently painted, with nice curtains and bedspread. There was a functioning electric wall heater, which we appreciated in the evenings and at night. The shower was good. There is a bus stop close by, and a bus to Hyeres at roughly every hour.
Cons: The kitchenette was extremely compact (which I expected) and very dated. The two plate hob did not work, but was replaced within a day by the manager. The crockery and cutlery was a bit of an odd mix. The only cups available were tiny Espresso ones for example. Our room had a toaster, while our friends' room had a kettle, but neither of us had both. Everything looked a little dirty and dusty, the floor had not been swept and the shower curtain was definitely in need of a replacement. There was no handsoap, sponge, cloths, kitchen foil, salt, pepper or any of the other disposable items you tend to find in self-catering accommodation elsewhere.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view, proximity to the beach, the nearby pizza place - the best pizza, very friendly pizzaiolo and the pizza place owner; the nature and the birds, beaches, La Route du Sel - very pleasant, aproppriate for long walks; very friendly staff and neighboring shopkeeper ...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice studio, well equiped for families. Very nice and available hosts! The area is very pleasant, with a small grossery store selling the essentials and fresh bread, croissants and fruit. A couple of restaurants in a two steps distance. The beach is very nice, very close (a few meters), easy parking. The location allowed us to visit dream like beaches in a short ride every day!
Cons: The studio is a bit hot. Although there is no a/c, a fan is available.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is in a winery and is stunning: surrounded by vineyards and a lovely garden, but not at all cut off. There were plenty of shops nearby and Hyères is only 10 minutes away. It only took us 5 minutes to reach the motorway. The room was spacious and really well decorated. Breakfast was fresh and with a variety of bread and pastries to choose from.
Cons: Upon arrival there was nobody to be found to check us in, despite arriving in the alloted check in time. We wandered around trying to find someone until a staff member appeared and quickly took us to our room with minimal explanation on the property policies etc. This was to become a theme, as we found it very hard to find someone for our needs. The first breakfast was not a very warm affair, barely any interaction with the hosts (presumed hosts, didn't talk to us much) and we felt like we were intruders not guests. The second night we returned to find a large techno party in the grounds which meant no sleep. Not the relaxing experience advertised and this was precisely what moved us to book here. The second and last breakfast was a repeat of the check in: we arrived at 8 (the time we'd said we'd eat) and it was a ghost town. Nobody around, though we shouted and searched for signs of human presence. Finally someone appeared around 8.20 and by that time we just wanted to leave. Such great potential in this lovely property but it doesn't feel like the hosting of guests is the primary concern here.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything, the setting, the staff, the room, the trees !!
Cons: There is nothing negative to say about the Domaine.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel in quite area.
6.3 Good
Pros: big room, breakfast and the view from the room. near the mall.
Cons: we put in 14/15 the standard arrival time due to our road trip we arrived later at 7:30 p.m. We called them several times because the gate was closes. My man jumped the gate and looked if there were people inside. We were lucky after looking for 10 minutes we found some one. The lady/owner of the place was not amused to say the least. She opened the gate calling and complaining to some one (we understand french but she did not know) until we took our luggage out. Very unfriendly/cranky welcome. As we say in Dutch lekker met de Franse slag. It was not a hotel so there that means that there is no staff (how should we know) at that time of day. On booking.com check in is from 14:00 till 21:00. The number that is noted is also not her or their number. That means you can't reach them! So make sure you contact them some how or else your not getting in. So she left and we were the only ones on the property. No towels in our room. Luckily the pantry was open so we could get some. Dust in the corners of the room near the power sockets. No big lights in the room only ones that need to be handled manually next to your bed. When we check out around 11:00 our breakfast was still on the same spot (2 hours later nobody care to clean it) and nobody there to check out.

Pros: Excellent location. Room was very clean, bright, with a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea. Very impressed with the cleanliness and how comfortable the bed was. It's also an eco friendly hotel, which we appreciated. Staff is very accommodating, knowledgeable, helpful and available. Will definitely be staying here if we're ever in Hyeres again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very nice helpful and welcoming. Our room was cosy, ideal as we were enroute to Avignon. The decor was wonderful from a reception desk created from Books ,furniture from recovered wood etc, why spoil it for you. In my opinion the best beach in the south of France. Best wishes to all at the Hotel Almanarre plage
Cons: Nothing
4.6 Okay
Pros: The view, cleanliness
Cons: Certainly not the cooking of fish from the downstairs kitchen which permeated the whole building. The top price in winter at 96 euro, no breakfast no shower caps, no hair dryer, super busy highway at front , plus an airport traffic on top of us! We asked for ideas to eat dinner, absolutely none, couldn’t recommend and said not sure what was open. Finally drove back to the city centre Hyeres and found an Irish Pub with reasonable food to satisfy....nothing great but better than starving. This hotel was certainly not worth the price and would not recommend! The rooms are super tiny, our friends could hardly get around the bed, ours was the top floor, ( no lift) and small.

Pros: The location is excellent. Also the hotel has rentals for every kind of water sports as well as cycles. They were really helpful with the ferry to the island as well and the tickets were cheaper at the hotel.

Pros: The view was great and the staff were friendly. The room was clean.

Pros: The closeness to the sea, an idyllic location
Cons: Nothing
5.0 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and the bathroom was a good size . The actual place down stairs is dated and needs lots of repair , The kitchen area looked dirty and unkept and to be honest we declined breakfast because we wanted to go somewhere clean . The view from the room standing up was lovely but once you sat in the chair on the terrace all you saw was the roof and dead plants so it was a bit sad . It’s badically a room in someone’s house with very confused lines of what is space for the guests and the owners The lady who met us was fine and friendly
Cons: The.mess down stairs
7.9 Good

Cons: Whole place under renovation. Rooms not clean. Breakfast was not included as mentioned.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of this (relatively basic) hotel on the Îles de Porquerolles is perfect. Right beside the square and just a couple of mins from the harbour.
Cons: Our room was a little dark. Lighting needs improving. No big deal.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved Caroline and everyone else at the hotel and restaurant. Caroline was very helpful prior to my arrival, answering questions about my travel from Aix-en-Provence, and she was a warm hostess during my stay. I enjoyed a couple of nice, very reasonable meals in the restaurant. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and loved the automatic darkening shade on the skylight. I would love to come back to the island and if I did, I would absolutely stay here.
Cons: The WiFi sig al was not that strong in the bedroom but I may be one of the few who works much when you travel here.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable room. Small but adequate space with shower room and closet space. The owner/manager was super friendly and greeted me every morning by name. In a very central location but quiet at night so no problem sleeping. Excellent free wifi.
Cons: Although the quality of breakfast was excellent; as is typical in France, there was little choice - only bread and viennoiseries. No option of cereal or fruit etc. Perhaps if you ask they can provide something else (I didn't).
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Very good hotel to stay in close to town. The staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It's a great place to stay for short stays on a budget and I have visited it many times.
Cons: They do not have a full kitchen so there are only simple food choices at lunch and dinner times.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: As a couple with no rental car, the location was super convenient for us. Short distance to walk to both the train station and to the old town. Also near to bus connections to other parts of Hyeres. The personnel was so nice and genuine, and made everything they could to make our stay comfortable. I would say this kind of leadership to a hotel is what all hospitality business should be! Merci! Oh and the breakfast & pool, splendid!
Cons: There was no safety deposit in rooms, and some interior details could be updated, but that’s a minor minus.
7.9 Good

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast, with a huge range of very tasty options. Lovely location, very near to the old town 10-12 minute pleasant stroll. Warm, welcoming staff whom couldn't have been more helpful, A+ for effort
Cons: Would be good to have some umbrellas of decent size - i.e. golf size, given the sudden huge rainstorms that the area can receive :)

Pros: Clean and comfortable! Very pleasant experience!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Room was ok. Bathroom was ok. The inside of Hotel was fine. Heating of room was fine. What else .... I don't know ....... bla bla bla bla bla bla bla
Cons: The outside garden was horrible: we arrived that it was raining and just in front of the entrance of the Hotel, there was a lot of water, and it was impossible to enter the hotel without having our shoes completely wet in the water. THIS WAS REALLY A SHAME! Breakfast was really poor. The person at the reception was not able to suggest us not even one restaurante in the entire area..... Not very nice of him. The hotel did not have not even 1 umbrella to borrow to us.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staffs of hotel very nice. they accepted our dog .
6.7 Good
Pros: In spite of uninspiring building and decor, the rather resently renovated hotel is well kept and the pool area away from the road is a nice place to spend a few hours. So, in spite of our initial disappointment, it was a good place for a night or two. The staff were very sweet and helpfull.
Cons: The hotel is right next to and facing the motorway, a very uninspiring location. In addition, the building is ugly and prefab. That said, we were not disturbed by the noise, even though our room faced the motorway. Windows well soundproofed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautifully fitted out and very modern. Immaculate.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was really nice. Location was ok just a tiny bit far from the center or the beach. Very comfortable bed, loved the pillows.
Cons: Too much carpet in the room and building, clean but outdated. Shower had a little mold.

Cons: Breakfast nice but no warm eggs based / warm vegetarian dishes available (only lukewarm sausages / ham)
9.2 Excellent

Cons: some confusion at check out
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great restaurant on site--had an awesome dinner, as well as breakfast the next morning. Food was very fresh and of the highest quality, prepared and presented well. Hotel staff provided outstanding service.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extremely comfy.
Cons: Food in the restaurant was very disappointing. Chicken burger wasn’t cooked thoroughly (pink and bloody) and when I notified the waitress an offer of having it re-cooked was given to me. I had already eaten some of the chips and salad which led staff to believe the meal should still be paid for?
