Pros: Good price, very kind and helpful staff, big and clean room. Good and cheap food. Great value for money.
Cons: The pillows should be changed, they are quite old and uncomfortable. If the pillows were changed I would give them a 10.
Pros: Excellent breakfast, nice bar and lovely setting
Cons: Very small TV in room with only Spanish stations, not a major problem.
Pros: The stuff was very friendly specially the man in the restaurant he was amazing and the place was very beautiful
Pros: Beautiful old property. Plenty of character. Lovely breakfast
Cons: Wifi did not work at all, no evening meal facility provided
Pros: A fantastic experience, pity not all hotels are like this one. Near motorway, fabulous old building and very spacious room nicely decorated and furnished. Bar on site, food available and excellent service from friendly staff
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Refurbished convent

Pros: Good to stop for the night and I can take my pet with me
Cons: Food at the restaurant was good!
Pros: Friendly staff , great food, massive room, comfy bed and a real spanish feel . Very reasonably priced food and drink .perfect location if you want to break up a long journey .
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Hotel Real Castillo is in a very convenient location next to the motorway for those travelling through Spain. Unlike some places, GPS took us right to the door, although we hardly needed it as the hotel’s castle type facade was easily recognisable from its photos. We had a room facing away from the road and had no issues with car noise whatsoever. The rooms are incredibly spacious, air conditioned and spotlessly clean, the bedding is cool cotton and the beds are nice and firm. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the bar/restaurant is open 24 hours, which is a great help if you’re arriving late in the day. Try the pizza if you’re feeling peckish - yum yum!
Cons: My only slight gripe with the hotel was that we’d booked a room with a balcony, only to be told on arrival they didn’t in fact have any rooms at all with balconies. I found that rather disappointing as we stayed on the night of a *significant* birthday and I’d envisaged sitting outside, celebrating with a bottle of wine, but all in all it was a great hotel which I’d recommend to anyone who likes enormous four poster beds and pizza.
Pros: Very easy to find off motorway. The room was very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. A choice of evening dinner either in restaurant or cafe was of varied choice.
Cons: Door to balcony needs repair, hard to open/close.
Pros: Nice size room and bathroom
Cons: Dogs barking outside my window most of the night. Ordered a bottle of white wine which they didn’t have a cool one of, so brought me an alternative... turns out it was 25.50€ ... wine is cheapest thing you can buy in Spain.
Pros: Lovely clean large cool bedroom. The hotel was on a busy moterway and yet never heard a noise in the room. The restaurant was good value for money. We should have shared a meal as portions were very large.
Pros: Room was huge so great with pets. Bathroom big. Restaurant great with grill going 24 hrs. Quiet room. Good area behind for walking dogs.
Cons: Shower head wouldn’t attach to wall. Long walk with luggage and pets from car park through restaurant up to rooms. Provide access through the exit door for guests with their room key and it would be perfect . Charged an extra 20 euros for our 3 dogs which seemed a little excessive on top of 64 for the room
Pros: 2 Scottish bikers, amazing place, food was amazing, room was immaculate, staff were great.
Pros: Location and comfort
Pros: Comfortable and good value for the money.
Cons: Everything. The room was huge and very clean. It was very quiet despite being by the roadside. Service was prompt and very good.

Cons: Power shower was missing a few bits and did not work. Normal shower was fine

Pros: The property was very convenient for us. We had to travel into Madrid for the Champions League Final and found the excellent travel connections perfect. The staff were excellent and extremely welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: We liked everything about the property!
Pros: Room was spacious and clean.
Cons: Heating inadequate. No view from window.
Pros: Nice hotel mamagement and very helpful.
Cons: Rooms on the main street side may be a bit noisy with people at the bar.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable accommodation
Cons: Evening meal menu was very limited
Pros: Good place to stop on the way to Madrid. Clean, Bar/restaurant with local food on site. Free street parking, very reasonable rates.
Cons: Somewhat noisy as rooms are located above the 'local' bar. No doubt week days may be more quiet.
Pros: We arrived on the afternoon of a fiesta and the place was packed. We were welcomed and shown to our room very quickly as the place was so busy. The room was warm and clean and just what we needed after a long drive. The bar downstairs had a happy atmosphere even though it was so full, the breakfast in the morning was good.
Pros: Cosy place and great staff! Caring and friendly feeling from the kitchen and bar workers!
Pros: A very nice small hostal with delicious tapas and a nice bar. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly and speaks a little bit english. Muchos gracias
Pros: Super dog friendly. Great location.

Pros: Accommodation was spotlessly clean. The shower was excellent. Although the owner spoke no English he was very welcoming and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was very good quality and value for money. Allowed dogs in the apartments.
Cons: Accommodation was very basic but adequate. Would have liked more pillows.
Pros: We enjoyed the large and quiet, 2-bedroom apartment for our last stop before reaching Madrid airport.
Cons: Kitchen is minimally equipped (no microwave or water boiler, small electric cooking plate...)
Pros: Beds comfy. Toilet smelt when we arrived. Ok when we left.
Cons: No kettle to make a drink, disabled access totally inadequate. Ramp dangerous. otherwise ok.
Pros: Didn't have breakfast here. The bed was comfortable, fine for overnight.
Pros: Definitely a 2 star hotel, the rooms and facilities are very worn, however, the hotel is fit for purpose especially when you are doing adventurous things like sky-diving.
Pros: Near to plaza, street parking available.
Cons: Not an issue for us but worth noting that the gentleman on reception spoke very limited English
Pros: We needed a stopover before Madrid and this apartment was perfect. Very clean and quiet location. The staff were very friendly and even though they couldn't speak English we all had a laugh together.
Pros: Prefect for one night stay during your longer trip. Lots of clean towels. Friendly staff.
Cons: Poor bathroom cleanse. No parking. Reception is on the different street then apartments entrance. Every time you entrance a building you need to call intercom, even that owner is very friendly I didn't feel comfortable to ring a bell at 2 a.m. Kitchen is very poorly equipped and whatever in there is not suitable to use anymore (dirty and very old), no kettle. Very poor breakfast. We traveled 4 adults with two children and payed for 5 breakfasts as the owner told us one child will get free breakfast, but we got breakfast for 4 only. Tee/coffee, piece of toasted bread and wrapped doughnut. Nobody speak English.
Pros: Coffee, quite room
Cons: Scam in the reception! It take 60 eur more from us, than booking.com show. We booked till 6 October, but guy in reception told that we could stay only till 5 October, and ask for 60 eur more. He didn't speak English, but i didn't speak Spanish, and he use this situation. Of course, he didn't give me a recipt for that (and no other paper, he just take money in his pocket). As i know, other people who didn't speak Spanish have the same issue.

Pros: We stayed in the apartments as the hotel does not allow dogs.It was spacious and clean.
Cons: The area is rather run down.
Pros: Handy for motorway.
Cons: Very basic, all room, including sheets smelled of cigarettes.
Pros: Restricted menu but good value. Comfortable room. Remote underground parking very tight for manoevering. Close to A4 but use street addressnot post code.
Cons: Car park - having a Volvo V70. Window view was a light well
Cons: The noise of some device like air conditioner and no wifi signal.
Pros: The welcome was very warm, the room large, clean and well equipped. The evening meal was amazing value for money. The inside of the building was beautiful, lots of marble. Very easy to find and with private parking.
Cons: rien, tous était parfait.
Pros: Perfectly located just off the autovia sur so easy for traveling south or north through Spain via the Ocaña table. The plaza mayor is beautiful and lots of history in the town. The staff at the hotel are great.
Cons: Sadly the property is a bit tired and needs updating the rooms are a bit dated but adequate.
Cons: I don’t know where the other guests that have written a review have stayed??.....because it certainly wasn’t this hotel?? The walls in the rooms are wafer thin & even though it’s not a busy hotel you hear a lot of banging & people coming & going. The pillows are those awful thin long 1s which are too thin on there own & too thick if you roll it into 2. The beds are too small I’m 5ft 6” & my feet we’re sticking out also it was like sleeping on the floor they were that hard. We arrived at 19.30 had a shower got changed & was expecting the restaurant to be open No Such Luck!! As far as the owner/manager is concerned he was about as helpful as a chocolate fire guard!!! It’s a nice enough hotel but if you’re after a peaceful stay & good nights sleep you’ve more chance of winning the lottery!!!
Pros: Local people used the hotel bar which is always a good sign. Although no English was spoken it didn't matter as mine hosts were always available, friendly and helpful. This is a basic 2 star so don't expect luxury. It's a rural small Spanish village and quiet, but very peasant, it is also searingly HOT, even in mid-September. Food was excellent and incredibly good value, I would 100% use this hotel again. Secure parking is excellent.
Cons: Everything was good.
Pros: Town of Ocana with a superb Plaza major was very interesting. Secure parking

Pros: Simple rooms, staff efficient
Cons: Very thin walls, heard TV and arguments in room next door for hours. Room smelled tobacco smoke and bathroom drains had an odd smell at times.
Cons: There was a bit of noise from the next room
Pros: Good price (50€ night)
Cons: We arrived at night (23:00). Check in took extremely long because the night receptionist didn't know how to use the computer. Besides he told me to pay although it has been previously paid.
Cons: Showers are not user friendly. They are very slippery and water goes on the floor.
Pros: - Free parking. - Good location and walking distance to the city center. - Nice and quiet room.
Cons: - The person at the reception did not speak any English. - She kept us waiting a couple of minutes because she was ordering some papers.
Pros: We arrived late and the staff were great. Easy location just off the main roads.
Pros: Good hotel with good location.
Pros: Easy and quick in-&-out access from main A4 road. Ample and confortable room.
Cons: Room facing main street. Very noisy.

Pros: the motorway location
Cons: restaurant facilities and no lounge to relax if you dont want to stay in your room. Claimed to be pet friendly but pet were not accepted on the premises ounce outside the room.
Pros: The bedroom
Cons: The broken bath
Pros: the room was large with lounge area, the food was fresh and great value for money. staff very friendly and helpfull.
Cons: no wifi, even when in the bar.
Pros: Proximity to motorway
Cons: Heating not working and a leaking radiator in the bathroom
Pros: Loved the very Spanish buzz in the bar and rooms were very clean and spacious. Bed was very comfy. Restaurant served excellent food.
Cons: A few more smiles!
Pros: Food in restaurant was very good & breakfast in the bar area was also good Room was large & comfortable Very secure car parking perfect location for an overnight stop The small town of Dosbarrios was an easy walk from the hotel & worth going even just to stretch the legs !
Cons: No WiFi !!!
Pros: Good Food - lovely steak. Ideal location if you are travelling through area of Madrid. Very good secure Parking.
Cons: I checked soundproofing was in the description ( It is yards from very busy road). The road noise wasn't a problem but we could hear every word the neighbours were saying (just talking normally) and were woken up after very little sleep by the other side using the jets on their bathtub. Avoid having an interconnecting door within the room if that is even possible as it seemed this was some of the noise leakage problem. No WiFi - briefly working in bar after arrival then not for remainder of stay. Think this is a recurring problem.
Pros: We particularly like the location although it’s in an industrial area. We travel from Denmark down to Madrid and always stay at Los Argos. We arrive in the evening around 8/9 pm, extremely tired after being 2 days on the road. We arrive to friendly staff. A quick shower and up to the restaurant for something to eat then a good nights sleep so we are refreshed and ready for the last 5 hours drive home to Malaga the following morning. The parking is secure and gated so your car is directly outside of your accommodation. Great for the dogs also as we can just let them out to have a good run around. You can also take your beloved pets to the restaurant with you (not the A La Carte one ). Our most recent stay was on the evening of Monday the 15th July 2019. Arrived a little later than anticipated but did our usual routine then took the dogs up to the restaurant. I had the chef cook chicken for my fur babies ( think the staff know us by now) but still they were amazed and thought us mad to be dividing chicken portions into our 3 dog bowls, which my babies loved by the way. Hubby and I sad and relaxed with a nice bottle of chilled wine and a light meal before going off to bed for a good nights sleep. Air con in the rooms are strong and efficient. Beds extremely comfortable and the rooms are spacious with a sitting area. Fantastic if you are travelling with pets. I am extremely fussy with standards and although this hotel/motel is not 5* material it is of a good standard and great value for money.
Cons: The mini fridge is the room is turned complete down so would recommend if you have anything that need to go in there like water, dog food etc, make sure that you have a cool box with you
With a stay at Hotel A Posada in Tembleque, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Torres Palace and Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion Church. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, a safe deposit box at the front desk, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location was good. Local town was a great place to explore and very friendly
Cons: Hotel staff were unfriendly, unwelcoming and did seem to want our business. could not arrange for a supper as promised, did not receive a breakfast as promised
Pros: It was an easy walk to the centre of the village.
Cons: No hot water. No towels or soap in the room. Safe did not work. Initially there was no lighting in the hallway, we had to request that it was put on. Requested a walk in shower and was not advised that this was not possible as all the rooms had shower over the bath. The barman was not helpful at all and we got the impression that we were not welcome. Restaurant was not open so had to have dinner in the bar which was not a problem but the food was dreadful. Both my husband and I were up all night with upset stomaches. Also food not being served until after 9pm which would have been ok if in the restaurant but not acceptable for a bar. Did not have breakfast because it looked like it was only pastries on offer, and our experience of the night before put us off. Was advertised as disable friendly but this was not the case.
Pros: Arrived mid afternoon to what appeared to be a sleepy village hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the room comfortable with a view over the courtyard. But what a transformation after 8-30on the restaurant was packed to overflowing to enjoy the excellent food.
Cons: The late start of 9pm for the restaurant to open.
Cons: The staff do not speak english and do not have our booking room correct. We had to argue about the room for 40minutes until other customer came and translate to english. Even then the staff failed to give us the right number of bed that we have paid via booking. The staff keep insisting to charge us extra even when we explained and showed the reservation.
Pros: Rooms were nice
Cons: Restaurant was more for locals than guests - I ordered food and it took an hour to arrive. No ability to have an early breakfast - I was going out for photography - so had to miss breakfast. No coffee making facilities in the rooms, hairdryer didn’t work - I am supposed to be taking a big group to this hotel in July - I hope I can email them and some of this sorted before I stay else I will look elsewhere
Pros: The actual hotel was nice, clean and in a good location. Unfortunately, the food was horrendous.
Cons: The menu was a simple one, the food was thrown together and totally inedible
Pros: For the price of the hotel it’s certainly value for money.
Cons: It would have been better with the main restaurant open, it it was January of course.
Pros: Space - clean - good car parking- breakfast was basic but for 40€ for 2 very good value.
Cons: Could not get a meal at night untill 9-30pm so went into town found a nice pub that did us a meal.
Pros: Large clean room with a mini fridge which was a nice surprise and price good value cafe bar adjoining the hotel serving tapas was good for a drink and food as not a lot of other options in area.
Cons: Room 203 Very loud banging noise started at midnight for about 15 mins which repeated a couple of times during the night which woke us (don’t know what it was) was not able to report this to establish cause as NO English spoken by staff.
Pros: How near to the moterway it was, we didn’t arrive til late & the lady was nice, bed was comfy
Cons: We were firsr given keys to a room &...someone was in there!! Had to go back downstairs, she was shocked...went off to speak to someone & than have us keys to another room. Settled into bed & about 45 mins later were woken by the noise of a generator!! Went in for about 5 mins, was about to go & complain & it stopped. We were woken again by the same noise at 5.00 a.m!! Again it went on for 5 mins. We wanted to complain but there was no one around to complain to when we went down for breakfast. Breakfast was difficult with no menus or anyone to say what we could & couldn’t have.

Pros: Good basic room, clean. Staff was really helpful storing a way our tandem safely.
Cons: A bit outside town and very basic breakfast.
Pros: It was clean, would not not stay their again
Cons: Sewage smell in the bedroom no one spoke English, I do believe I was charged again for breakfast, unable to confirm this due to language problems, no real shower it was a shower head on the bath taps.
Pros: The breakfast arrangements were not made clear. I didnt have breakfast because I didnt know when or where it was served. The staff spoke little English which was fine but challenging dealing with any issues. The room was tidy but 15 could not get wifi so I had to sit in the bar to check work emails/watch english movies. The location was ideal for what I needed but in honesty stopping in Aranjuez where there is more to do would be my plan for next time
Cons: Bright lights in room no lamps, no wifi

Pros: Location right on the side of the highway, perfect for us to sleep on our road trip. Breakfast included. Pets allowed for free! The bathroom was nice & clean. The receptionist was very attentive and nice, gave us bottled water to take to the room, and gave us the key to 2 different rooms for us to pick! Offered to help Carring the suitcase to the 2nd floor. We arrived late at night & Even though the kitchen was closed offered to fix something for us to eat. He was extremely nice and helpful and we appreciate it!
Pros: Very clean, excellent value for money.
Cons: Hotel on North bound side of motorway so south bound entry to hotel means going past and returning on North bound carriage way.
Pros: Olde worlde Spanish hotel
Cons: Nothing to speak of
Pros: Good location when travelling north or south on A4. Hotel is basic but adequate for a night stopover during travel. Food in the cafeteria - we only had a snack - was very good. Owner very friendly when he checked us in and check-in was very efficient.
Cons: No Wifi...even in public areas as claimed (it was so slow to be non-functional).
Pros: The owner and staff were very helpful and considerate. The hotel is alongside the motorway, but no noise in the room (at the rear of the property). Tapas was lovely and coffee was good. Plenty of dog walking space to the rear and side of the hotel.
Pros: easy to find, friendly Spanish staff, cheap and clean. safe walk around car park area with fields for dog.
Cons: water for shower could have been hotter
