Pros: Great location for our stopover on the way back from south of France. Dinner was delicious using fresh and local produce. Lovely cheeseboard of local cheese and were really accommodating for our 8 year old children.
Pros: Amazingly beautiful setting, something quite special. Room was clean and comfortable.
Pros: Charming setting surrounded by forest, with chickens and ponies in the garden! The room was very tastefully decorated and practical. And the dinner was brilliant -local products, nicely cooked. Breakfast was copious.
Cons: A small point, but the mattresses could have been improved on.
Pros: Wonderful hosts who were really friendly (and kindly sent on the favourite teddy that my daughter left behind!!). The evening meal was delicious and breakfast abundant with a good range of options, including home made jam. Also a beautiful and unique property set in peaceful grounds. Great for kids!
Pros: Great accomodation, lovely food and friendly hosts with very tasty home made jam at breakfast.
Pros: beautiful setting, wonderful hosts, amazing food. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing evening and the next morning we settled down to a perfect breakfast
Cons: literally nothing.
Pros: Amazing place and amazing host! My best stay in France so far)
Pros: Cute grounds and cottages. Host was very gracious and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and a huge spread
Pros: This is such a charming place to stay. The staff/owner were so welcoming. The room (cottage) and shower room were beautiful- very clean and stylish. The meal we had at 7.30 was delicious and kept us entertained all the evening. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests and there was a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was equally good with tempting local products to try. The chickens, cats, horses and rabbits were an extra source of interest and a walk around the extensive grounds was a real tonic after a long drive. It’s the extra touches (beautiful cut flowers on all the tables) that put our stay into the top category.
Pros: What a fabulous little hideaway! We had a lovely little cottage, set in beautiful grounds. The unexpected extra was access to a little kitchenette area with fridge, crockery etc - this meant the we could comfortably enjoy a picnic rather than take the children out for dinner in the evening. The children loved the play area & seeing all of the animals.
Cons: It was all great!

See hotel page In Eure, about twenty kilometers north-west of Evreux, a warm 3-star hotel managed by Franois Bignalet, awaits you. Built between the football stadium and the athletics stadium of the city of Neubourg, The Originals City, Hotel Acadine, Le Neubourg is a great stop on the roads of Normandy for your tourist or professional trips. 46 spacious rooms, 1 small gym, 2 seminar rooms (which can be opened to make a large room) and 1 large parking lot are at your disposal. Notice to drivers of electric cars, the hotel has just installed 2 charging stations.
Pros: Very clean, great staff, good parking
Cons: Nothing springs to mind
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Staff very welcoming. Plenty car parking. Bed very comfortable.
Cons: Difficult to find. We had travelled from the west coast and took a while to find the hotel from the motorway.
Pros: Good location
Cons: Sink was clogged, carpet had stains and holes, curtain was torn,
Pros: Facilities were excellent, nice big tv
Cons: No mention of breakfast during booking process or in confirmation, on arrival was given the impression it was included but then charged extra for it. €30 for 4 people (2adults, 2kids) when I only had coffee was a bit steep, would have gone to McDonald’s next door. The beds were rock hard, not comfortable for us. It’s a personal opinion. The room showed signs of wear and could have done with some maintenance attention which gave the impression of unkept / unclean which I’m sure it wasn’t
Pros: The family room we booked was the most spacious we have stayed in on or many trips to France. Room was clean and well equipped. Beds very comfortable. Hotel was very quiet, didn’t even see any other guests. Location was a 15 min walk to town. Would use as an overnight stop again. Car park was free and secure at night. Check in and out was swift, staff personally showed us to our room. Bathroom and toilet were separate which was handy for a family of 4.
Cons: We stayed on 15th August and didn’t realise it was a public bank holiday. Everything in town was closed apart from McDonald’s and a takeaway pizza shop.
Pros: Good breakfast, 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre. Lots of reasonable priced restaurants. Did not have enough time to spend a couple of hours there, but it looked like it could be an interesting place to spend a couple of hours. Hotel is modern but comfortable. Nice little bar. Overall very pleased with it.
Cons: Cannot think of anything. Will probably stay there again for a night
Pros: The breakfast was fine and well-presented. The location was perfect for a vist to the Chateau Champ de Battaille. The latter was brought back from a ruin by Jacques Garcia, the renowned architect, landscape designer and interior decorator. A sensational visit!. For us the hotel was in good location for a one night stay and to reduce the strain of driving back home in Belgium.
Cons: The hotel lived up to its three star status.
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable and a good size
Cons: No restaurants within walking distance and after a long drive we had to get back in the car to find an evening meal
Pros: The staff were great, the room was very comfortable and there was lots of parking, all good
Cons: All good
Pros: Cool atmosphère, nice people and very organized and efficient crew Ratio price value excellent Good breakfast I will be back
Pros: It was wonderful to stay in a traditional French house with all its original features. A real experience like stepping back in time to the French Renaissance period. The grounds were beautiful and the bedroom clean and comfortable with en suites in every room. Breakfast was generous and the croissants were delicious. The owners were so welcoming and family friendly. I wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros: Very nice people, patient with non-native speakers
Pros: wonderful home produce from the estate, fine quality conserves and calvados, the good value of the rooms meant we spent all our peage money on delicious produce to bring as gifts and for our own consumption. beautiful tranquil grounds, lovely planting and house, spacious, welcoming, helpful and clean.
When you stay at Logis Hôtel La Corne d'Abondance in Grand Bourgtheroulde, you'll be 14 minutes by car from Rouen Expo Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Hole in pillowcase. Bathroom was overlooked by window in house opposite. No other residents staying! Too noisy outside to open the windows. Upset tummy the following day after eating in hotel restaurant. We were the only people eating in there, even though it was also open to the public.
Pros: Really friendly and a great large double floored space for our family to stay in, cot for baby and bedding supplied.
Cons: There was a lot of noise in the evening when we all went to bed until about 3am. Prob because Bastille day next day and football but still very noisy with cars and bikes. Great supper and staff very nice - might just be the timing that was against us
Pros: Outstanding welcome and excellent food
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great.
Pros: Very helpful and friendly owners Very dark room for sleeping
Cons: Poor view from room.
Pros: Our room was convenient. Christmas decorations are everywhere. Tiny chairs in breakfast room and breakfast was basic!
Cons: little choice at dinner and my chicken was tasteless. Unbelievable decor!!!
Pros: Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Secure car park and space to sort/clean cycling kit.
Cons: Road noise might bother some
Pros: Location in town centre with nice aspect, lovely staff and excellent affordable menu. Private car park was bonus in town centre
Cons: Bit awkward on spiral stairs but then it old building and i am getting bit ancient.!
Pros: The hotel is centrally located at the market square of a nice little town in nice settings.Very good free WiFi. I was not aware that they request you to pick up key by 19.000 latest but got it at 21.00 since the owner waited for me.
Cons: The hotel is very basic, but okay. Beware that they run the only restaurant in town and that it closes by 20.30 already.
Pros: The friendliness of the owners and their helpfulness
