Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Event facilities at this hostal consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Pros: The breakfast was superb, so much to choose from.
Cons: It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facility in the room
Pros: Very nice location with lovely view. We had a room with nice balcony that we really enjoyed. The room was not big but sufficient for 2 people. Great option for a few nights in a small city in Andalusia, we liked the relaxing and rustic ambiance of the hotel. The small pool was a nice addition.
Cons: In the room we could hear the restaurant guests till late in the night so the room is not for light sleepers. We were also ignored by the waitress when we went down to the restaurant for dinner in the evening (the restaurant was full) - after 30 minutes of waiting to order we gave up.
Pros: Stunning location looking over Osuna. Especially enjoyed the wonderful sunsets
Cons: Nothing really
Pros: The beautiful place with medieval atmosphere. Very good breakfast for 4 euro per person.
Pros: It was an amazing stone built hotel by the monastery. Incredibly spacious room and bathroom which is furnished with authentic style. Spotless clean. It reminds me Cappadocian cave stone hotels.
Cons: Nothing. Just would be better if there were slippers.
Pros: We loved this hotel. It's different and a little quirky, with a number of separate sections in the main building. Location has to be the best in town with stunning views from the terrace and parking just outside the gate. The terrace is a beautiful place to relax in the evenings. Every member of staff we came into contact with was extremely polite and friendly. Our room was big and comfortable, with the added bonus of a whirlpool bath which we definitely weren't expecting! The food in the restaurant was lovely and very reasonably priced. We had a mixed grill for two at a cost of !8 euros and it was beautiful. We will definitely be returning here!
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like about this hotel. For us, it was the best place to be but some with mobility issues should take into account that the location may prove a little difficult as it's right at the top of the town so, obviously, everything is downhill from there. There is, however, car parking just outside so it shouldn't be discounted as it is still accessible.
Pros: Large quiet room. Good clean bathroom too.
Cons: Quite chilly in the evening. But staff did put the heating back on when we asked, so not really a problem.
Pros: Such a gem of a hotel, loved the atmosphere and location. Very friendly staff.
Pros: The location was amaizing becase the hotel is situated at the top of the hill above Osuna town. The view from the room's tarrace was just as well amaizing! You can see half of Spain from the little terrace or from the terrace of the XVI century cathedral located next to the hotel. And the sunset is breathtaking!
Cons: No complains at all
When you stay at Hotel El Molino in Osuna, you'll be on the boardwalk, within a 15-minute walk of Osuna University and Palacio Marqués de la Gomera. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request) and a train station pick-up service.
Pros: I was extremely satisfied and happy to spend 2 nights in Hotel El Molino, it topped my expectations by a wide margin. I came from Sevilla a bit stressed out but as soon as I arrived at this hotel all stress disappeared almost immediately, very friendly and welcoming staff, extremely clean rooms and entrance hall and a beautiful swimming pool with plenty of plants, very relaxing. And the hotel is very quiet and close to all amenities, yet without having the business of the city center, but still at walking distance. I will most certainly repeat, very very happy! I hereby want to thank the staff again for everything, you are getting a 10/10 from me! Best regards, Philippe
Cons: There was absolutely nothing negative I could find.
Pros: Pool are is lovely
Pros: Loved the pool and it's surrounding gardens all kept beautifully. Nice quiet place to be.
Pros: very poor no choice, one small bread roll and jam,one coffee, one glass orange juice asked for additional orange juice was charged two eruos extra
Pros: Nice enough. Good aircon
Cons: No possibility of WiFi in room 17. Restaurant next door, which hotel uses fir breakfast, put couple of cheeky extra items on our evening meal bill
Pros: Not a lot
Cons: Difficult to access, food awful and breakfast not good, won’t use it again
Pros: Spotlessly clean and large rooms. Lovely quiet pool area in the garden at the back and easy walking distance to the town.
Cons: Breakfast was basic and served in the bar downstairs.
Pros: So many things. Authentic Spanish hotel with surprisingly big rooms and comfortable beds. Extremely clean. Helpful staff. Property has a beautiful walled garden with a lovely swimming pool; a real oasis of calm in the heat. Integral to the hotel is a bar and restaurant preparing good meals at a reasonable price. Hotel has its own car park which is free.
Cons: It is a long but fairly level walk to the main attractions of Osuna.
A stay at La Casa del Duque places you in the heart of Osuna, within a 10-minute walk of Colegiata Church and La Encarnacion Monastery. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, laundry facilities, and an elevator. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Conveniently located to the city center but still in a quiet section, though our window did face the street so it wasn't silent. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, and friendly staff with a light breakfast included. Overall a nice stay!
Cons: Finding free parking can be a bit difficult, but we managed to find a space about a 5-7 minute walk from the location. Old-school style room key which you have to leave at the front desk, but otherwise perfectly acceptable!
Cons: Everything was fine.
Pros: Location is excellent to explore town. Breakfast good.
Cons: Internal room so no windows to the outside. The windows we had looked on to a seating area which was a little strange.
Pros: Very nice and practical location. We really enjoyed it!
Pros: Really nice and friendly
Pros: Good location near the edge of town with the possibility of finding a free on-street parking space on the street outside. Decent buffet breakfast.
Cons: A kettle or fridge in the room would have been nice.
Pros: The breakfast was good, with freshly made coffee. The property was in the higher part of the town, in a quiet neighbourhood.
Cons: Everything was to my satisfaction. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Good car park and nice breakfast. The place was peaceful with quiet location. The room was personal and nice. We had the problem (not hotel related) and the staff helped us through it. Great!
Cons: Nothing to complain.
With a stay at Hotel Museo La Casona de Calderón, you'll be centrally located in Osuna, just a 3-minute walk from Plaza de Toros and 8 minutes by foot from Archaeological Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and express check-in. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Central location near restaurants and bars
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Wonderful decor and comfortable bed.
Cons: The outside area was a little cramped and breakfast a little dull.
Pros: Really friendly people, great location everything is nearby, nice cold but small pool. The hotel is very traditional and it’s atmosphere is just so.
Cons: Wi-fi is a bit patchy and slow ish, video calling can be a challenge but for other usage it’s good.
Pros: Where do we start with what we liked! When we first arrived we received the most wonderful welcome which felt like we were greeted by friends who were genuinely pleased to see us. Our stay was for 6 nights and we booked a suite as we have two dogs who were travelling with us. The suite was more like a little house. It was clean, beautifully decorated and fully equipped for our needs. The pool, albeit not, 'Olympic ' sized (the words of Helena, the pwner) it was super clean, not too cold and a welcome relief from exceptionally high temperatures. Now, the restaurant..... Oh My Goodness, can The Chef (Jonathan) cook. We have travelled the world and been to Michelin star establishments and I can safely say, this chap is, easily, as good, if not better than some. I would love to see him on a Masterchef type show where is can demonstrate his amazing eclectic ability to infuse so many different taste sensations.... he is unbelievable and my advice to anyone staying here is to simply say "make me anything". Obviously, telling him if you don't like any foods beforehand. We were served breakfast, lunch and dinner by Carlos who has the most amazing and engaging personality. We would like to thank him for his wonderful service. We were wonderfully looked after by, Fran (front of house). He obviously has immense experience and knows exactly how to make his guests feel not only welcome but also special. We're sure that we're missing, by name, some other members of the team and we'd like to thank them also for a most enjoyable stat. Our pooches would also like to thank them for making a fuss of them. They've asked if we can bring them back for another holiday very soon . Thanks guys.
Cons: We loved absolutely EVERYTHING.
Pros: Central to the sights, historic property, friendly helpful staff- breakfast was good.
Pros: Friendly personnel. Breakfast was simple but nice. The hotel was located perfectly for a stay over between Malaga and Cordoba.
Pros: The hotel has been beautifully renovated and there is something lovely around every corner. Our room was amazing with a four poster bed and a fab bathroom.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike.
Pros: Quirky place
Cons: Room was dark
A stay at Fivegates places you in the heart of Osuna, within a 10-minute walk of Plaza de Toros and Archaeological Museum. Featured amenities include express check-out, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage.
Pros: Lovely staff and very clean.
Cons: The kitchen had a pervasive odor.
Pros: Excellent kitchen, great bonus when staying in a hotel. As a cyclist, great to have secure place to store the bike, and the hotel even had a tool station should any maintenance be required
Pros: No I would not recommend this place unless you only have a back pack since it is not close to the train station.Wonderful receptionist Alicia. Easy to find on a main street.
Cons: There is no elevator so if you do have suitcases (because your traveling through Spain)your in trouble. Not sure how clean the bathrooms were...they looked but didn't smell the part and only had 2 VERY small tubes of shampoo/no soap. Luckily I carry my own. A first for me... the toilet seat kept slipping off and if you are not a small, or slender person you may have a difficult time in the shower because it is so TIGHT! Make the wrong move and you might crash through the doors. There are only 2 cabs in the whole town and they seem to stay in Malaga or Seville, This place is not near the station unless you plan to travel up and down hills for 15-20 minutes. This is a very small town. The bus to the station seems to run sporadically depending on the day. I had to depend on the kindness of strangers to get to the hostal and leave. Also if you miss a train and aren't there to check in by 2 you will have to wait until 5 to check in since they close from 2-5. Game of Thrones was filmed here and believe me you almost need a Dragon to fly you in and out!!
Pros: A great location, good value for money.
Cons: The road outside is very noisy especially first thing in the morning.
Pros: The location. air conditioning very good. Clean room.
Cons: Bathroom very cramped. Very mean with bath gel, no soap, not enough toilet paper. Bedroom too small, lacking any extra furniture - too basic. No kettle in kitchen to make drinks, and no one to ask, as receptionist was only there once while we were there, and we had to request a hair dryer for room, so we were lucky we asked while she was still at the desk! She may have come in while we were out, but it wasn't enough. So more staffing needed.
Pros: Staff helpful. Rooms cleaned daily.
Cons: Fridge too full and contents seemingly not monitored.
With a stay at Hotel Albanta in Campiña de Morón y Marchena, you'll be 10.6 mi (17.1 km) from Plaza de Toros and 11 mi (17.7 km) from Osuna Museum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Good price, comfortable
Cons: In a small town with very little to do. But good commute to Córdoba.
With a stay at Palacio Marques De La Gomera in Osuna, you'll be in the historical district, just a 4-minute walk from Osuna Museum and 5 minutes by foot from Plaza de Toros. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
Pros: Staff helpfulness and friendly. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Lovely rooms luxurious communal areas. Stars from the tv series game of thrones stayed here while filming in osuna, I know this because they were here last time I stayed.
Cons: Liked everything
Pros: Did not have breakfast at the hotel.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
Pros: The hotel is in transition under new ownership with improvements planned over the winter months. There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner, just breakfast but plenty of places to eat elsewhere, once you figured out the town! Osuna is in the very early stages of tourism which they hope will grow now that part of Series 5 of Game of Thrones was filmed in their bullring. But back to the hotel - despite criticism, we really enjoyed it! Staff were so pleasant, lovely architecture, glorious staircase! Very pleasant bedroom and first-rate bathroom with generous toiletries. We noticed that quite a few visitors to the town came in to look at the interior courtyard which is crying out for a Spanish equivalent of ‘Afternoon Tea’ to be served!!
Cons: The Palacio is a wonderful building but chilly - not in the bedroom where there was good heating but in the public areas. Well, it was November in a hilltop town in a 300+ year old building! Must be lovely in late spring or autumn. One gorgeous drawing room to relax in but no lights on and no heating. Breakfast just adequate at present. Agree with the comment on pillows!
Pros: The character if the hotel is exceptional. The location could not be better.
Cons: The rooms were very cold. Few staff and the restaurant uninviting and always empty.
Pros: Great location, car parking free on the street, great help on finding the public swimming pool!
Located in Ecija, Hotel Restaurante Los Molinos is within a 15-minute drive of Penaflor Palace and Casa Palacio Fernández Golfín. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Rooms on the back of the hotel are overlooking a small yard with many animals that are noisy during the night! My first stay was overlooking the road so was quiet, I will request a room on the front next time.
Cons: Noise from animals.
Pros: The staff let me keep my bike locked securely overnight. Room was a lot bigger than expected
Pros: The host, the clientele, the service. A transport cafe, a shop with lots of local things, ham for your sandwich off the bone.
Pros: It felt very authentic, filled with locals having breakfast with us and they had nice local products (olive oil!) for sale, too. I also appreciated being able to try the local manteca spreads and we especially liked waking up to birds chirping.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. As it is in the middle of nowhere it was very peaceful. The beds were great and because of the airconditioning the room temperature was great. The outdoor terrace was a great space to enjoy the evenings (until the wind picked up)
Cons: Because there is no air conditioning in the lounge it was too hot to enjoy the space. It would have been great as the bar was often noisy and the bedrooms too confined. There was not enough space in the bathroom for our toiletries so perhaps shelving over the toilet would be feasible. See picture.
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and even allowed for us to park a motorcycle in the private garage (as we saw a comment here on booking.com). The breakfast is simple (toast, jams, butter, coffee and real orange juice) but very well prepared so worth the price.
Cons: Overall I think that the price of 44eur is a bit high for this hotel. The decor is very outdated, the restaurant is fine but not appealing and it is located kind of in the middle of nowhere.
Located in Marchena, Hotel Rural Molino la Boticaria is within a 15-minute drive of San Juan Bautista Parish and Santa Maria de la Mota Church. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful premises - very Spanish. Nice pool but we didn’t use it as we only had a quick stay. I wouldn’t stay again but would recommend it for a quick night if you are passing through the area and need a safe, clean place to rest your head for the night.
Cons: Owner did not speak a word of English. Very basic room. Pretty, very Spanish, tidy and clean. No kettle or fridge. The location was in the middle of no where. When I added the address to google maps it took me to a random spot on the highway. I had to actually put in google the NAME of the residence. Took another 9mins from there and was a little stressful. Wouldn’t like to have arrived after dark as you need to go on a weird dirt road to get there. Nothing close by. No shops or restaurants. You need to drive 10mins into the nearby town to eat or get any basics. The room just had two single beds and an en-suite and a desk.
Pros: Peaceful, charming and rustic. Good value for overnight stop.
Cons: Very difficult to locate
Pros: Peaceful setting, light breakfast included.
Cons: Noise travels from other rooms.
Pros: The decorating of the communal areas was extra special, the cacti gardens were well maintained with beautiful plants, the room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. It was an interesting experience.
With a stay at El Caballo Blanco in Osuna, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Plaza de Toros and Archaeological Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: A bit basic
Cons: A little cramped
Pros: The location was perfect for visiting the town
With a stay at Hotel Esmeralda in Osuna, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Palacio Marqués de la Gomera and Archaeological Museum. Featured amenities include express check-in, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel is very close to the main plaza. Osuna is a small city so it is easy to walk everywhere. The coffee and tostada in the morning were good and convenient.
Cons: The shower was very sophisticated and a bit tricky to operate.
Pros: Only positive was the cheap price. However you do get what you paid for in the lack of quality.
Cons: The staff would not allow myself and my husband to stay in a double bed as the room "was for one person only". We were put in a twin room even though we paid for a double room. The facilities were outdated and some of the furniture was even broken. The price was ok but considering the condition of the room and the service from the staff I wish I stayed somewhere else and paid a bit more.
Pros: Esmeralda is on a side street and easy to find, parking is restricted but we managed to park on the road outside of the hotel. Reception and booking in was easy. The room was to the stand expected at the price. The shower was a multi-directional contraption with all shower heads pointing directly into your face and outside the shower guaranteeing the bathroom floor would be soaked before the water reached temperature. The television was set to satellite radio only. It is situated in a great central position close to bars and restaurants. Sunday morning in the Plaza España (Salon) you can hear the cacophony of church bells attempting to attract larger congregations than they had the previous week. Look for the microbrewery in the Plaza, well worth the search.
Pros: Good place with free parking. Clean room and bathroom
Cons: Furniture was very old and used. The hotel is not maintained well. At the common places there was no air condition and it was extreme hot. Hotel rooms need renovation. The breakfast was 1 slice bread, butter and a little jam, it is worth nothing...
Pros: Convenient location for town centre.
Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff Perfect location Lovely traditional decor in a classic Spanish town-centre building
Cons: On-site car parking wasn't available as advertised, despite having specifically requested it. Was fortunate that a space became available in the narrow street outside soon after we arrived, so was able to park in that. This time we were in our 4x4, but we usually tour in a classic car, which is why I always book hotels with off-street parking, and I would not have been willing to leave that car parked overnight in a narrow street with through traffic.
Pros: Very convenient...and secure parking
Cons: The fire alarm at 4am...not really a complaint just very annoying
