Pros: What a find! Lovely place with modern en suite bedroom and use of kitchen and lounge for visitors. Our host was so nice, welcoming and friendly and booked a table for us at a nearby excellent Italian restaurant. Our host served breakfast the next morning - lovely fresh pastries and home made jam, good coffee and a range of teas. Bike storage for those, like us, who are cycling the veloscenic route. Would recommend without reservation

Pros: Absolutely fantastic, everything. The best was dinner: the hotel belongs to husband and wife. At the sale time with us there was one more couple in the hotel. Owners made a dinner and we had it all together at the big table. It was a feeling as if you met old good friends.

Pros: We had an amazing 2 night stay for a friends wedding nearby. The guys who run the place could not have been more friendly and helpful. The lady even ironed my shirt for me on the morning of the wedding. Would definitely stay there again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners were delightful and we felt that we were house guests, not paying guests. We and other guests all ate the delicious dinners with our host and hostess, like a private dinner party. The food was all freshly cooked and of an extremely high standard. They spoke perfect English and French. Our bedroom was large and the bed very comfy. The bathroom was also very large. The house had a lovely garden leading down to a small flowing stream. There were plenty of garden chairs and tables. The house is in the country and very quiet although there is a small country road running past.

Pros: BnB perfection. This is a lovely property and worthy of its very high rating. In a lovely quiet area. The facilities are first class with gorgeous rooms and a fabulous shared lounge, TV, kitchen area. The house itself is very unique and the way the BnB area has been incorporated into this refurbished farm house is very well done. And last but not least. Chantal, our host was as perfect as the place itself. Lovely warm and so accommodating and helpful. Google translator came out more than a few times but she was so patient and great fun. Thank you!
Cons: Not one thing

Pros: The B&B was fantastic, in a very rural part of Northern France We were driving back to Calais and a welcome brake. There is a good restaurant not far away, but you will need to drive there. Can be a little hard to find but very worth it. Our host Chantal was fantastic, she even ironed my shirt for me.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Chantal and Jean made us feel very welcome and were the prefect hosts. The room was comfy with a view over the beautiful garden. The lounge was enormous and had everything you could need with a kitchenette tucked away inside what appeared to be a antique wardrobe, worked brilliantly. French doors lead to the patio area were we had dinner overlooking the garden. Peaceful location set in a national park. Would like to return one day.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great place to stay. Owners are very friendly.
Cons: nothing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Charming, inviting, peaceful and unique farmhouse B&B. Owner Chantal, so helpful both via email before we arrived and while we were there. We were on a search for family history in nearby Manou and were delighted to find that Main Street had been renamed/dedicated to our family in 1994. Plus, Chantal guided us to the Quebec Emigrants Museum, a highlight of our stay. We also enjoyed meeting the other couple staying at the B&B and relaxing on the outdoor patio in the evening. Pack small suitcase for the spiral staircase.

Pros: Thé breakfast was very good
Cons: No dining facilities
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a separate apartment alongside the hosts house. You have loads of room: a big downstairs dining/sitting room, a lovely attic conversion type bedroom and a spacious private bathroom with a fantastic shower. It's a quiet residential area so you get a sense of what it's like to live in place. Town centre is only a 10 minute walk away (a little longer back as it's uphill!). We didn't have breakfast but I'd wager it's good and the selection of tea available all the time is impressive. Very friendly and welcoming host and a pretty garden you can sit in.
Cons: Parking on site is a little restricted although as it's a quiet residential area, parking on the street is fine. There is space on the driveway and the host was accommodating (we arrived on two motorbikes).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was very well equipped, supplying tea and coffee which was lovely after a long drive. The accommodation was cosy and easy to relax in such a lovely and quiet area. Also close to shops and places to eat, even has a Lidl close by!
Cons: Bed was slightly hard but did sleep okay.

Cons: Little bit out of town as I was cycling.

7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was nice and the couple who own the apartment were pleasant.
Cons: The location is quite a way from restaurants etc. The apartment is large but rather old fashioned and dark. The bedroom in the attic was very hot.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Croissants, dinner (extra special) , shower , garden , decor , comfy big bed , view from room
Cons: Only one large towel , not many toiletries , locked out on check in time
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good and the original floor tiles and unplastered walls gave it a cosy atmosphere. The bedroom was nicely decorated and the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel gives the impression of great efforts being made but seems like early days in the process.
Cons: The dinner menu led us to expect more than was actually offered: the descriptions were jokily pretentious and went into some detail, listing each ingredient and its provenance. Yet the results were uniformly bland and under-seasoned (even to someone like me who rarely adds salt when cooking!) Looked pretty (and healthy) but disappointing in flavour. The dining room is modern with comfortable chairs and tastefully done, boasting some huge and impressively detailed paintings of arcade interiors. However, I didn't notice these until leaving as, despite the sparse clientele, I was unfortunate to have been seated with my back to all the decor, my husband sitting opposite me in front of what looked like a grey shower curtain, the business end of the room beyond it. The lighting was rather dim and the predominantly grey scheme looked a bit chilly.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Food excellent
Cons: No bath
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant is really top-class - a short menu but everything we had was beautifully judged and originally conceived.

Pros: cleanliness of room, bed and bathroom and very quirt. Restaurant very good. Staff very helpfull.
Cons: Base of shower tray needs deep clean.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nothing .
Cons: This hotel is much too expensive for what it is , especially the breakfast ( 12 euros !) which was poor quality with products from the day before , and little variety . There wasn’t even regular tea ( just flavored teas) , and only one sort of cereals (the cheapest kind ). We definitely do not recommend this place .

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the great pleasure of staying at the excellent hotel twice; on our way south to the Mediterranean and on our way back to England. It is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and the friendly staff were a delight. We ate in the restaurant on both occasions and were very impressed. The offerings were imaginatively presented and of outstanding quality, you could have cut the steak with a spoon. We are looking forward to returning for a longer stay.
Cons: There is nothing at all to dislike.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Appreciated that arrangements made for us to have access to hotel although reception closes during afternoon. Room was fine for an overnight stop on way to Channel tunnel. Situated in very pretty rural environment. Evening meal was very very good - and an €18 menu which included a beautiful seafood platter and tasty guineafowl was exceptional in our recent experience of hotel food in France.
Cons: A menu which offered a little more choice would be better although we appreciated the freshness, quality and care in cooking.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice hotel with a comfy bed.
Cons: The town is not very good, i.e. Few shops and those that were there were not good, few bars and cafes, in all fairly run down which can't help the hotel. We were unaware an email had been sent with an entrance code as we hadn't looked at these, we were on holiday! So spent an hour wondering how to get in and what to do, only then did we decide to catch up on emails. I don't think it was clear that this was going to happen.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: + Room very well decorated + Nice bathroom and spacious shower + New bed and matress + Quiet location + Breakfast buffet was great + Dinner was good quality food + Price for 3 course meal well worth it + Local pub and shops nearby

Cons: Nothing: all good.

Cons: There was nothing not to like. They made us feel very welcome
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent food in the restaurant. Only 7 euros for our dog who was made welcome.
Cons: Mistake made over the reservation however this was dealt with very well by the manager.
6.7 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable and room was v clean. Altho réception was closed until 17.30 pm the room key was left for us which was great.
Cons: No croissants for breakfast! And, sadly,It felt as though staff didn’t want to engage with clients but wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible. We stayed here last summer for a night and enjoyed it so much that we booked to stay again this year en route to te Dordogne. Won’t be booking again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quiet, bright and airy room. Croissants arrived a little late at breakfast but were worth waiting for, piping hot and freshly baked.
Cons: Shower was weak and not very hot.

Very well equipped catering area, loo, shower/basin, all off corridor to large double bedroom with comfy bed. Moto made welcome in garage. Shop about 6kms away. 7.5 Good
Pros: Good bathroom, quiet location.
Cons: Very low, awkward bed which had a wooden shelf all the way around it which was just right for bruising your shins. Poor pillows on bed and spare pillows were filthy. Restaurant was closed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The host was super nice and the location perfect. And really good croissants for breakfast.
Cons: The room was very clean but still smelled of cigarettes.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, friendly and very helpful owners. Lady at reception even called and booked a table for us at a restaurant about 10k away in the nearby town. Rooms very clean, great shower and great central heating if you need to dry out. Good breakfast with usual French standard selection.. Would definitely use again..
Cons: Hotel restaurant not open on Sunday evening even with guests staying in hotel. Unfortunately it was pouring with rain and we were on motorcycles so to have an evening meal we had to get soaking wet.. Also need to keep better supply of breakfast tea, floral, lemon and chamomile just don't hit the mark like a good old PG tips. Petty.? Maybe but apart from that, no problem at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome, excellent service, good food
8.8 Excellent
Pros: My room was spacious and well presented. The meals were very good and I was impressed with the wine selection. The house special aperitif was outstanding.

Pros: From he moment we arrived the staff were friendly, courteous and could t do enough to help. As a family of 5 we booked a twin and a triple, but on arrival we were offered a suite (cheaper overall) which was perfect. Excellent quality all round, nice fixtures and fittings, amazing one-off pieces in the shop below, fantastic continental breakfast, great coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice. Seriously, what’s not to like! PS we were so tired from travelling that we didn’t venture too far, and went to the pizzeria for dinner (kids choice) but at all times we were made to feel welcome.
Cons: Nothing!!

Cons: There was nothing to dislike!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Great location. impressive Chateau. Great views. plenty of parking. good but limited menu. Internal reception rooms impressively aged.
Cons: Chateau was more like the annex to the mill not the main residence. Limited menu with expensive supplements on the majority of items. Breakfast minimal continental but after a few days realised that other items were available on request but nothing to indicate that. staff numbers lacking at times. The main rooms and resturant and reception were at the mill site about 250/300 yards down/up a steep 1 in 16 hill. The chateau reception was only sparodically manned. No coffee making facilities in the rooms. No staff at most times in chateau. front & back doors of chateau not locked at night. no fire evacuation details in rooms. curtains didn't cover the window.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet comfortable room at the back, private secure parking, friendly and efficient reception staff. The evening meal was really outstanding and excellent value. Each course was perfectly cooked and presented, with great attention to detail and presentation. Really impressive.
Cons: The main bedroom light had a sensor on it which overrode the main light switch, so if you had the light switched off it would turn itself on as you walked past it. We spent a lot of time turning it off! It was impossible to find a way to avoid triggering it, so was especially irritating if it switched itself on in the middle of the night if one of us had to get up for any reason. Very disturbing to the other person. It's also environmentally unfriendly and wasteful of resources. If we had been staying more than one night we would have said something about it.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Location for my purpose was very good as it is midway to my destination. Bed was comfy and room was warm.
Cons: Because of the small en suite you could not sit on the toilet. The toilet seat was broken. The shower had no curtain so the whole en suite gets wet.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Very limited english language skills of the personnel which caused funny situations during dinner. Anyway the dinners were great!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It's a very nice Auberge. It's beautifully French and the food is excellent. Parking on site. Attentive hosts. I will return. It's lovely!
Cons: It's not cheap. It is good value.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, close to shops, cafes, bars in village. There were lovely gifts of home made apple juice, cider, snacks, cherries. Staff very welcoming. Beautiful grounds and easy private parking.
Cons: In the separate lodge where we stayed, the bathroom was built for easy access for disabled guests but this did create a problem with water from the shower flowing across the bathroom floor and out the door a bit. Not a major problem but maybe some alterations could be made to avoid this happening.

Pros: Excellent dinner.
Cons: Opaque curtains in the bathroom!
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly welcome and the availability of parking on site. Very old town and the hotel is an old building with charm. The dinner was very good and staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was also very good.
Cons: The shower was over a bath and, for older folk (like me) can be difficult to use. We had to be careful not to spray the whole room..
