Laundry and pool area. Very clean! Thank you.
This is the first time in my life I've checked into a hotel and once in the room immediately checked out. I don't think there's a chance this hotel could pass any sort of health code, it was disgusting!!! DO NOT Trust the pictures!!!
We were on out 19th wedding anniversary celebration and we wanted to get away from the city, so decided to go local. Just on the other side of the Coronado bridge we found this nice secluded resort property right on the water. When we checked in, a wonderful receptionist upgraded our room to a suite and we were literally right in front of the bay with a gorgeous view of the city and the bay. Room and the badgering were very spacious in the grand view suite. Extra large tub was very nice. Bed was super comfortable. Resort is pretty spread out, so it didn't feel crowded even in the middle of the Summer. We will bring our whole family here next time. Breakfast buffet at Market cafe wasn't that great for $25 per person. Also $29 for self parking. For the money they charged for the room that should be included. Pool area isn't all that grand. Adequate though.
I had a horrible stay, my room got flooded and had to move at 330 am. By the time I left I was so exhausted.
Good view and easy to get around The dinning room service was slow.
Location was great- very quiet and right on the water. The rooms were spacious for a family of four. The staff was not very informative or helpful. They appeared very lazy and didn't go out of their way at all.
They have the best beds and pillows! We liked the separate bedroom and living areas with refridge and coffee maker, which was easy to use and enabled me to make my morning oatmeal. Was nice to have a view of the Bay.
Close to Pacific Beach The AC went out in our building they were not able to give us a different room. My 2 month old baby ended up with a heat rash it was terrible. Then the soap dish was covered in hair as the last customer shaved and tiny hairs were all over our soap. The humidity without an AC was unbearable. We paid way too much for what we got. Hotel did nothing about any of this.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating in every way. The grounds were really nice and relaxing. You do get hit with an excessive parking fee, which I find weird since the hotel owns the whole area. The rooms could use a little bit more TLC (better cleaning, spiderwebs, and bugs in room). Our outside chairs were beyond filthy, sitting in them would have left our clothes stained in dirt/filth. Beds were okay comfort wise. Any issues brought up to the staff was quickly and generously remedied.
We arrived at the room and the towels were dirty- used.
Hotel was clean, pool area was nice, short drive to tourist areas like Coronado, downtown San Diego, San Diego zoo and Balboa park Must drive to closest pharmacy if you forget to pack something. It wasn't far but I wish there were a CVS in walking distance
The view was beautiful -marina right in front of hotel. Room was moldy, smelly, single pane glass , so I was up most of night because of noise outside. Would not stay again -self parking was also $36/night
Bellman were the best! Helped me with luggage & getting around expansive grounds via electric carts. Very nice gift shop. At times front desk & concierge desk were so overwhelmed/understaffed, it just wasn't worth the wait in line for service. Because of these lines/wait times, some seating is necessary on that side of lobby, or a number system for those who can't stand to wait in line.
Remodeled interior Unexpected fees, confirmed a king bed, was given a fold out couch bed that was a queen, dirty patio (underwear, cig butts, trash)
Loved everything about our exoerience The pool could have been a little cleaner
Beaches I didn't like the room. Shower tub clogged and dirty. Dust around the tv stand. Carpet dirty, found bugs in the bathroom floor. My brother and his family stay in the same hotel. His bed he found some bedbugs and at least on his arm 10 bugs bites. Parking terrible. One day my husband had to park the car outside the gate which we pay for parking. DO NOT WASTE Your Money IN THIS HOTEL. There better hotels. The room to small for the money.
Room View Pools and spa
Golf course outside your window. Run-down and very dated. Windows into bathroom from walkway outside has no closure. This place passed it's zenith in the mid-70s. Confused site layout, rooms hard to find at night. Sticky tables, chairs that collapse in the middle. Mismatched furniture.
Outstanding staff: Best welcome ever. Excellent location next to Balboa Park and Hillcrest. Very good for kids. Nice little kitchen. Free parking. Exceptional view from our room and from the roof. It is an old hotel: personally I liked that historic feel, but others might not.
The bed was comfortable, location next to baboa park bathroom had no room in it,very small, view on 5th floor was of the 7-11 and apartment buildings.
