Pros: The venue was very cozy. The location is ideal and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend.
Cons: The drainage in the shower.
Pros: The view
Pros: Amazing views and excellent service. The goat curry is delicious and there's a very good choice for breakfast. The hosts are lovely and very helpful with regards to what to do on the island, they also gave recommendations for other locations that we are travelling to.
Pros: Literally loved the staff and owners! Wonderful property...will be visiting again.
Cons: No tv or internet in room, but they went through a devastating hurricane so it was understandable that services were not yet restored
Pros: The owners and their staff could not do enough for you! The restaurant is excellent. A very good choice and cooked to perfectionh
Pros: Service was explemary, the previous reviews about Alicia, Rick (the owners) and their staff is so true, they couldn't do enough for us. The food perfectly cooked, recommend the local breakfast for a real Caribbean cuisine, the baby back pork ribs were exquisite. If you like rum there's a great selection chose from. Pagua Bay Hotel, slightly outside of Marigot village, which is perfect for tranquility. Great place, I'll definitely will be returning

Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a ferry terminal shuttle.
Pros: Our accommodation was beautiful - with such an incredible view. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Our stay here was perfect. Can not fault a thing. Thank you for everything- we’ll be back for sure. x
Pros: Lovely lodges very unique with many personal touches, rustic charm mixed with modern facilities. Wi-fi service fast. The hosts helped anyway they could to make our stay enjoyable even driving us a couple of times to save the wait for a taxi or bus.
Cons: Not to good at poaching eggs but this was a small thing and I just changed to boiled as a choice.
Pros: Due to hurricane Erika resort is still out of electricity and wifi (lasting another few weeks), dependent on generator. It is not a problem at all but for some it may impact comfort. But owner provided hotspot whenever needed.
Pros: Amazing place to stay and explore Dominica, I liked the atmosphere! Everything is perfect. Clean, lovely staff, friendly place with a great garden and pool, comfy bed, nice breakfast & dinner. I really recommend!
Pros: I loved the view from the property and the way the buildings fit into the landscape, and the garden of course. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a rustic, natural style and very comfortable with a fabulous shower. There is a personal touch everywhere. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and bent over backwards to make our stay a success and they achieved it. Thank you for a lovely time
Cons: There was nothing that I didn't like. The property was still not connected to mains electricity after the hurricane but that's just a question if time and a generator was used some of the time to keep everything working. I knew about this in advance and it was not a problem for me. The pool was not as crystal clear as it would be if the pump could run non-stop but I had some very relaxing swims in it. The access road is partly unmade and bumpy but again a question of time and not a problem for the rental car.
Pros: I love the room! It was very well decorated and looked absolutely beautiful
Cons: The road driving up to it and the parking lot is in a bad condition. However I do seee they are making repairs and construction to make it better.
Pros: Lovely little boutique hotel nestled in the hilltops overlooking the west coast of Dominica. Great, helpful staff always on hand and a lovely place to retreat to each evening to enjoy a sundowner and freshly prepared dinner. Fabulous.
Cons: The road up is a little tricky (repairs are underway)
Pros: The hosts were wonderful and very friendly. They helped us a lot with car rental and gave excellent tips for the national parks and directions for driving. The atmosphere was cosy and warm. The view from the pool and cottage was great. The entire decor of the cottages was very beautiful, nicely built and unique. The breakfast was tasty as well.
Cons: The lack of electricity caused some harm, but the hosts tried their best with the generator and they should get the electricity finally back very soon. There could have been another mosquito net above the extra bed to prevent the hungry mosquitos and the fire alarm needs to be attached properly. One definately needs a car to move around.
Pros: Amazing ocean views
Providing a shared lounge, Matthew's Miracle View provides accommodation in Roseau. The bed and breakfast offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, free toiletries and shower. A continental breakfast is available daily at Matthew's Miracle View. Belvidere is 12 km from the accommodation.
Pros: Phillip and Connie were so welcoming. They were so kind to us and always so helpful! The meals were great and the views from the house are amazing! We had a great stay and would definitely recommend!
Pros: We had a great stay. Philip was a great host and my only provided accommodation, but also helped us organize our activities, picked us up at the port etc. The food was also great. We felt very at home and definitely would recommend the place!
Pros: Phillip and Connie were amazing. I felt at home the moment I walked in. They treated me so well, their genuine kindness and care for their guests is something special. The view out of the room was spectacular the pictures do not do it justice.
Cons: The stay was too short!!
Pros: The room was very clean, very comfy, and Connie is just so welcoming. The breakfast is a good spread and you're right in The middle of nature, it's amazing.
Pros: This place really is a home from home. A family run business, you are welcomed and looked after as part of that family. The property has been furnished fairly recently, with spacious rooms, a breathtaking view from the room's private balcony (a choice of mountain or sea view), and with a kitchen and lounge in the communal areas. There are 4 guestrooms, and the communal facilities (which are pretty much new), are impeccably clean. Located just outside Roseau, you can arrange a shuttle up or down Eggleston Road to and from the heart of town. Alternatively, there is a bus stop located right at the end of road from the guesthouse. Complimentary breakfast is brought to your door in the mornings, and if you would like to have a real Dominican dinner, the owners ask you to let them know by about 3pm that day (do double check though). I stayed here over the weekend that included Dominica's 40th Independence celebrations, and on the Sunday was invited up to join the family for dinner. I must say this: it's worth visiting for Mr Matthews' Dominican broth alone! I can still taste the aroma of it, which includes dumplings and the sweetest tasting smoked chicken. The owners can organise tours of the island for you, and whilst the guesthouse is it's own self-contained facility, you really are made to feel like part of the family, which was great for me as a solo traveller. All rooms have AC, seating and a table to dine in your room- if you prefer, a waterfall shower in the bathroom, iron and ironing board, wardrobe and a fully operational safe. For those who wish to get their own supplies, there is an independent shop approx 20 metres away. A lot of people use Matthews' Miracle View as a base to do treks to attractions such as the Boiling Lake and Trafalgar Falls, and i would certainly second that. I can't say enough about this place. It really is a gem!
Cons: More of a side note than a problem, which is outside the owner's control, is the surface of Eggleston Road, but this is being fixed as i type. The reality is that many roads are being fixed more than a year on from the devastation of Hurricane Maria. However, both the shuttle service and bus manage the road with ease on a daily basis
Pros: Friendly service, welcoming and wonderful at atmosphere.
When you a stay at Fort Young Hotel in Roseau, you'll be on the waterfront, just steps from Leeward Islands and Saint George Anglican Church. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and dry cleaning/laundry services. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location. By the sea and close to all services and offices.
Cons: The dining room was closed on Monday and Tuesday and the only available meal was the buffet at fixed price.
Pros: Location and the view only.
Cons: Breakfast was poor, reception team rude , no late check out , overpriced, u pay for the location and the view.
Pros: The property is historic and beautiful!! The rooms are comfortable, spacious and have a great view of the sea from the balcony!
Cons: I didn’t appreciate the occasional flying insects that hover around the sink/ bathroom area..
Cons: If you have planned increase of room stock and therefore more guests, then you should seriously consider more on-site services and offerings and further you should not shut down all in'house options so early when there are no off-site options.
Pros: The service was great . The brake fast was excellent . The people was very kind .
Cons: Nothing more as for now seeing the hotel is under construction
Pros: Great location with amazing pool looking over the sea. Food in the restaurant was very good.
Cons: Service in the restaurant was slow. The rooms felt a little bit dated.

Cons: RUDE and ABRUPT owners at reception (mother and son - aka Norman). Checkin took 25 minutes. CREDIT CARDS are NOT accepted. WiFi did NOT work, Paid in CASH and had to ask 3 times for a receipt which was reluctantly and begrudgingly given. Customer service and attitude ZERO. Overall a worse experience could not ever be imagined in a hotel in beautiful Dominica or any where in the world for that matter.
Pros: They we amazing, arrived late, had no place to eat, and they made delicious food for me and insisted that I should not pay for it! Amazing
Pros: Everything was functional, room had AC, WiFi is good. Dinner is available on request.
Pros: Very good breakfast with a beautiful view and very gracious & attentive staff
Pros: Property is amazing! Clean and have a nice location where you can see sunset everyday. Elvin and his family are so helpful! Food was amazing too!
Pros: Very welcoming hosts, clean & comfortable, would love to return
Cons: Price list for drinks & meals would have been helpful
Pros: Nice bathroom, friendly staff. Close to airport
Cons: Room a bit simple, not possible to eat as we didn't ask earlier.
Pros: The staff were superb, i was even given some free food with a couple of beers in the bar. There are local shops nearby but be careful they close early !
Cons: The room was advertised as having TV, fridge and AC, none of which my room had ! Take a torch for the short uphill climb, there is no road lighting.
Pros: A lovely hotel, pretty garden and pleasant room.
Cons: Would have been good to have a menu with prices.

For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a ferry terminal shuttle.
Pros: Villa was well equipped and tastefully constructed. The gardens surrounded the place and a stream was near by for a refreshing dip. The outdoor dining and sitting area was nice. The location is a little out of the way but very quiet. A restaurant served wonderful foods to enjoy. The host and staff were helpful and nice
Cons: Due to location, the internet was slow, but we didn’t care.
Pros: Privacy, kitchen facilities and kitchen layout and tree shower. Dominique was an excellent host and the restaurant meals were very nice and reasonably priced.
Cons: I was immensely disappointed that free wi-fi was not available in all areas as advertised. One of the main reasons for booking this accommodation was that it advertised free wi-fi in ALL areas and as I had an urgent need for wi-fi it was not up to the advertised standard and only available in the restaurant. I was provided 200mb per day, which is insufficient for average needs. I would hesitate to book this accommodation again if I required wi-fi.
Pros: Banyan villa was a beautiful private spot with outdoor kitchen, fire pit, hammock, outdoor shower literally in the trees and a view of the ocean - highly recommend it. Breakfast food was provided at the villa, including homemade bread each day and the Riverside Cafe was very good food at reasonable prices.
With a stay at Narakiel's Inn in Roseau, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Leeward Islands and Windsor Park.
Pros: Friendly staff, nice area, comfortable place
Cons: There should be a doorbell at the gate downstairs.
Pros: The location is perfect. Especially if no car like us - you an walk to all the local bus stops here and see lots of Dominica. Lovely hot shower. The bed is huge and very comfy. Very friendly staff. Perfect for people looking to use the room as a base to explore Dominica.
Cons: It is a little small - was no issue for us but not much space to relax outside of your bedroom. No reception so was a little slow checking in and out when wanted to but the staff were very friendly and helpful so is not really much of a complaint.
Pros: I wish that the place had a food facility but its ok
Cons: I wish the bed Was more confortable
Cons: At the very beginning of the hotel I had a very poor reception and was treated unexpectedly. The choice of this hotel was not successful and I would not recommend anyone to visit it.
Pros: The staff at the hotel are very pleasant and always smiling and Treat me with kindness and respect
Cons: Bathroom is very vey small and The shower in the bathroom is very bad and broken from above
Pros: This Inn is perfect especially for people who travel alone. The Rooms are not to big, but the comfort, the Bed, AC, Refridgorator and especially the bathroom are more than great. The location of the house is more then central, you just have to cross a bridge to come to the center of the town, so the environment is not so loud, but you are still in 2 minuts at the harbour and the town center, Personal is also really nice.
Pros: manager and staff very friendly and helpful. Nice balcony.
Cons: small room with a king size bed. A little too much stuff crammed into a small space.

Pros: Very comfy, clean and spatious apartment.
Pros: Very comfortable and well equipped apartment. I chose a seaview which was worth the xtra money rather than looking out over the back street.
Cons: Don't let the location put you off. It is quite quiet at night (apart from a few barking dogs).

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: the friendly staff made us feel welcomed immediately. Nigels is a multi task guy and he is great at it all. he makes a mean margarita. and we had such a wonderful dinner which includes complimentary dessert. the owner was very pleasant and welcoming to all guests during dinner she walked around and greeted us all as if we were family visitin for the night. I was on a week long vacation elsewhere on the island and spent the night before we flew home and if ever back in Dominica I will definitely plan a stay there again
Cons: my stay was only 1 night. I wanted ro stay another night :-(
Pros: The dinner was good.
Cons: There is nothing on walking distance. There is only a restaurant (not two as in the description). The WiFi is poor, only in front of the office.
Pros: Very isolated area just beside spring
Cons: No WIFI in the room, Room were smelling terribly bad (need major maintenence)
Pros: Everything! The staff: Nigel, Paula, Cai, Shanaia, and Andres treated us like family, helping us every step of the way. Nigel is one of the best chefs you could ever imagine...I absolutely enjoyed the meals he prepared for us ...He deserves 5 Stars for every delicious, nutritious dinner, and for being always caring/sharing, extremely knowledgeable, an expert professional! Paula is such a special, beautiful lady managing to create the most amazing best trips for us, and blessing us! Cai, Shanaia, and Andres also blessed us with their kindness, and always looking out for us... We loved staying for our 2 week stay at this incredibley gorgeous, green/flower and fruit filled place...the gardens are a true joy, and reflect the lush beauty that Dominica is...swimming in the Paguan river was one of our favorites any time of the day...and we lived the loyal doggies...missing our sweet Lady.... Will come again...will recommend to anyone...Bless Up!
Cons: We loved everything about Hibiscus Valley In!
Pros: The location was great, just across the street from the river. The area is surrounded by locals. The staff make the place feel very welcoming and give it a feeling of community.
Cons: The room was unfortunately rather dark because of how the windows are built. We did not have a fridge, a container for food (to protect against insects and other animals) or any food storage opportunities. since there are no restaurants in the area (or dominica as a whole) this meant that we couldn't store or cook our own food and ended up eating at the inn every evening. The food was good, but there was no real choice and it was not cheap. We also had a few problems with insects as well, we had a rash after the first night there. You cannot really complain about insects and animals in Dominica, however this was the only place where some kind of bug attacked us at night.
Pros: Very hospitable
Pros: People are very nice. There's a river with natural pool on the other side of the road (although not very well indicated and arranged). The garden is nice.
Cons: No Air Con, lot of insects, no food for lunch, no wifi in the rooms (and very slow at reception), rooms and furnitures are quite old. There's nothing around, no restaurants, no shop.
Pros: The location is beautiful and the staff are so kind
Cons: Everything about the room Uncomfortable bed Unclean bathroom and towels
