Pros: excellent hostal with great staff good food in restaurant at fair prices breakfast also fresh and filling The entire building is spotless and the rooms newly refurbished Do not hesitate book today it is only 20 minutes drive from Cordoba
Pros: The hotel was a lovely oasis contrast with the Main Street. The hospitality was very friendly and accommodating. The beautiful courtyard outside the rooms was a delight.
Cons: The room was pretty compact and so had no room for a fridge or kettle. Not really an issue when everything was available in the lovely traditional bar area.
Pros: Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Good size too. Everyone was extremely friendly. Easy to find and great value for money. Near easy drive to Cordoba.
Pros: The friendly staff.
Cons: No hair dryer, and irregular to poor wifi.
Pros: It was quiet and the bed was good.
Cons: There was beautiful weather and I always sleep with the window open. Well, guess what....there IS no window! The rooms are entirely interior with no window to the outside world. There actually is a window but it just opens on to an indoor hallway/courtyard which has no fresher air than the room. I would have selected a different hotel if I was aware of this.
Pros: The staff is very nice, helped me with planning my trip. And the room is exactly what you seen in the pictures.

Pros: Position great. Cool traditional interior. Easy walking distance to monuments bars and restaurants. Helpful welcoming hostess. Friendly town. Really enjoyed our stay.
Pros: Very quiet location.. Owner doesnt live in we had the building to ourselves. There were paintings for sale that the owner had done I wanted to buy one but she had left before we checked out..
Cons: Very cold day house was a bit chilly . But not a major factor
Pros: Very friendly, and a beautiful building. Also, the owner/manager was flexible about breakfast making an egg for my diabetic husband instead of the toast normally supplied.
Cons: One surprising thing was that the room was not automatically cleaned or towels changed. She offered to change them, but there was no cleaning. It didn't bother us, but it might be a problem for those expecting it.
Pros: I was very impressed by the welcome as well as the hospitality of the owner of the building as well as by her daughter. They do things well. I highly recommend and hope to return during my next stay. Sincerely, El Abbes
Pros: Beautiful paintings everywhere - feels like in gallery !!! Perfect interior design, excellent location, very quiet place, free parking.

Atalaya de la Campiña is a rural hotel located between olive trees where you can admire a breathtaking view of the Campiña. Located on the Route of the Caliphate, the place has witnessed many battles. The building was built as an ancient Andalusian olive farm with typical elements of a Renaissance palace. It has two courtyards around which all units are organized. The Hotel is a 3 star, has 16 rooms with maximum comfort.
Pros: The views and whole old world Spain charm but very modern
Cons: Signage from motorway was not good, come off at 27 and no real good signage, for those that are going, come off on 27 hotel to your left, 200 yd’s second round about take 2nd road, then little road on left enjoy your stay
Pros: good location friendly staff free parking clean new room good breakfast
Cons: visco bed
Pros: Friendly even with language difficulty
Pros: The staff were brilliant and attentive, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and spoke English when they could. The food was exceptional!!! There was heaps of parking.
Pros: silence, naturely they give us more free water
Cons: distant to city center
Cons: Far away from everything... room are not isolated very high sounds
Pros: fantastic views and nice garden. Spacious room and bathroom. Nice staff
Cons: Took some time before we could check in.
Pros: Value for money, absolutely. Worth to try here. All in all, this hotel is above my expectation when I initially realized it is a hotel nearby the highway, but we need to make one stop point during our trip. But once arrived, the view, the people and even the smell here is soooooo nice. Especially during the sunset period. I would highly recommend this hotel,
Cons: Google map is not that much right I guess, actually we followed the indication of google map, but we failed to find the right entrance. Hence we were forced back to the highway again, and another 20km been consumed. What I shall say it was little bit difficult to one time find the right entrance to this hotel since it just close to the highway, you need to careful. The soundproof in the room is not exactly good, I can even hear the sneezing from the neighbor room.
Pros: Nice hotel with very decent room sizes; quiet location

Pros: We used this as a stop over on a cycle ride from Madrid to Malaga. convenient, just a few yards off the high street. Friendly owner, and secure storage for our bicycles. No breakfast available, Rooms are basically furnished but comfortable, suited our needs.
Pros: It was authentic old style spain
Cons: There was traffic noise in the rooms on the street - not at the back of the building though
Cons: hair dryer is necessary.
Pros: Very good affordable place to stop for the night as hotels in Cordoba were more expensive on the weekend

Pros: The food was excellent, home cooked, the tapas of kidneys is especially recommended. The restaurant has a good menu with the food very well cooked. Totally Spanish, no English spoken except for one waiter who had worked in Birmingham for two years and it was only by accident that we learned of his English when he asked if we were French.
Cons: Nothing really, it was not luxury but very adequate with very low prices.

Cons: Bed uncomfortable, very old building and old decoration, including old switches, electric plugs, etc. Like if it was from "The Shining". No elevator... terrible if you bring children (and their stuff) with you.
