9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful quiet spot in which we stayed one night after visiting nearby Giverny. The hosts paid attention to every detail and cared about their guests experience. Room was all white with old beamed ceilings and very romantic. Fresh and plentiful breakfast set on perhaps the best decorated breakfast table we have experienced. A one minute walk to a great restaurant 'Auberge du Prieuré Normand' that serves excellent Normandy cuisine including a really tasty foie grois! We would love to come back and try the hiking trails that surround the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding with delicious breads and pastries and homemade jams. The presentation was over the top like something you would see in a magazine. The house and garden were beautiful and the hosts were so gracious. They made a reservation for a us a restaurant just steps away that turned out to be our best meal in France. They also gave us excellent recommendations on day trips.
Cons: That we only got to spend one night there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We couldn’t rank this place any higher! Wonderful and restful. Great location to visit the Monet gardens and surrounding area and still quite close to Paris. Hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable! Loved every minute and would have stayed longer!

Pros: Property very old but beautifully restored and modernised. Lovely garden. Felt very welcomed and looked after by our hosts.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: B&B Agapanthes is exquisitely decorated and comfortable, with spacious rooms in which every detail is attended to. The photos do not do it justice! Many extra touches are included: a large selection of toiletries in the bathroom, extra towels (!), lovely tea and coffee service in the room, and even a turn-down service at night. The included breakfast is a feast for both the eye and the palate. I never do this, but could not resist taking photos of the beautifully spread table! There is also a lovely and large back garden. The hosts, Remy and Jianghua, are gracious, friendly, and accommodating. They greeted us with a welcome cocktail, served breakfast at our requested time each morning, and were extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations; tickets to Monet’s house and garden and to the Impressionist Museum (allowing us to avoid those long lines!); and suggestions for other local sites to visit — assisted by photo books they have created themselves. My husband and I felt totally pampered in every way. Our stay here was a delight and a true highlight of our trip to France!
Cons: The mattress (at least in our room, the White Room) is very firm. This is not my personal preference, though others may really like it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old house and garden in a nice village close to Giverny. The hosts were nice and welcoming and provided us with a rich and beautifully presented breakfast. They also made us a dinner reservation for Saturday night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Les Agapanthus is a beautiful home and the hosts, Jianghua and Rimy are more that kind. The breakfast is a delight to the eye as well as to the tastebuds. Gasny is an attractive village within cycling distance of Monet's garden at Giverny.
Cons: Public transport is limited and and taxis are expensive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Late 18 century house in excellent condition. The hosts are very hospitable and the breakfast is wonderful. I will recommend the restaurant 100m away from the property. The hosts are happy to book a table for you.

Pros: My wife and I were cycling the Avenue Verte from London to Paris. After a day of cycling in the rain this was the ideal place to relax and recover. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant and friendly host, lovely room, delightful gardens and wonderful breakfast. He even booked a restaurant for us.
Cons: The only improvement could be a glass door to the shower instead of a curtain which always seemed to stick to your legs
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The guest house is located close to the Monet gardens. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. We particularly loved the breakfast terrace and small garden. Host is helpful and able to beat all communication problems with his phone interpreter. The property was inspired by Monet times and gives you perfect feeling of staying in France.

Pros: La Pluie de Roses is a special place- very atmospheric with beautiful gardens, an elegant decor with a comfortable and homely feel. The breakfast was also substantial with eggs, meats, cheeses- much more than expected. Luciano is a very welcoming host and we also enjoyed becoming acquainted with Marcello, the house pet! We hope to return.
Cons: There was nothing we could identify which is unusual for us!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Directions to property. It looks at first attempt as if access through approach road to property is restricted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the most wonderful stay at La Pluie de Roses. The house and host are charming, and the location is perfect - just a short 10 minute walk from Monet's gardens. We didn't have a car, we took the train from Paris, the shuttle from the station at Vernon-Giverny, and then strolled down the main street to find the house - perfectly simple and not too much walking. The gardens at the house are beautiful, and we could have sat in the sunroom working on crosswords over coffee all day long. Highly recommended for an overnight getaway from Paris, and the perfect way to experience Giverny. Merci beaucoup Luciano (and Marcelo)!

Pros: The sense of calm & the understated sense of an idyll kept in waiting for our arrival were the key to a perfect wind- down. No wonder cats come to give birth to kittens!
Cons: God decided to thwart this attemp to unwind by casting a heatwave at a place not designed for air-conditioning
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Johnatan and Suren where great hosts! We loved the quietness of Evergreen. Not much to do, but the garden and especially the hammock were perfect for relaxing! We will definitely come back! We still need to try the great cooking of the chef as he was on a trip during our stay. Thanks again both for having us! We loved it!!! Ps. We were very lucky with the kittens who where adorable!

Pros: Our trip to Evergreen has been a true dream. Jonathan and Suren are very warm and welcoming people that have created a little paradise in Normandy. The food they cook from their own garden is simply fantastic. The environment is beautiful, you will find castles, charming villages and art nearby. Evergreen is a place for the soul.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jonathan and Sauren have created a haven of peace, tranquility, hospitality and love. They are so kind, friendly and caring. It felt like we were staying with long time friends, not at a B&B. Their home is so beautiful, in a peaceful location with a wonderful garden where they organically grown most of the food they serve. The little cottage you stay in is private and perfect. Breakfast is like nothing you have ever experienced. All the food is hand made mainly by Sauren and it will transport you to heaven. The perfect start to your day. They also offer evening meals. Please, whatever you do, please, please have your meals with them. Saurens cooking is so amazing. Finer than anything you could hope to eat elsewhere. The food is all hand cooked, using organic ingredients to Michelin type standards. We were speechless. They have beautiful wines and Sauren explains with great passion and love all about the ingredients and recipes if you are interested. We loved everything about our stay. We felt we made two beautiful new friends. They are truly special people.
Cons: Having to leave. We long to return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The guest house as well as the rest of the property are spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable and inviting. Excellent place to unwind for a few days, away from hustle and bustle of large cities. We were able to sleep soundly every night, in spite of nine hours jet lag. Suren is accomplished chef and offering amazing dinners - experience not to be missed! Spotless cleanliness, quiet and tranquil setting, wonderful hosts, excellent food - what else one can ask for? Thank you, Suren and Johnathan, for your hospitality!
Cons: Nothing, really - a perfect stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I recently returned from our second stay at Evergreen. We loved our first stay last September: Suren and Jonathan are very gracious hosts - warm, very hospitable and always happy and ready to assist us in whatever we needed; they made us feel as comfortable and as welcomed as possible. Their house and lawn are simply gorgeous, very clean and very well kept; they pay a lot of attention to details and this made a huge difference in the quality of our stay, which is one of the reasons we were keen on returning. This time around I took two lessons with Suren: sourdough bread-making and soft pastel painting. Suren is truly gifted and skillful (a capable architect by profession, an accomplished painter [acrylic, pastel and watercolor], a passionate professional cook, knowledgeable about plants and gardening and he even plays the piano by ear) and it is easy to see that he is really passionate about everything he does. His care and passion was quite inspiring to me as a beginner in those areas and they came through clearly. He was patient and very thorough in his explanation during both lessons and he knew just when I needed a boost of confidence, especially during the pastel painting session! He made me feel very comfortable and free around him which was exactly what I needed to absorb the information he was passing on to me. We truly cherish our stays at Evergreen and all the heart-warming memories we have from there. If we ever return to that part of France, we will most definitely be staying at Evergreen again and I certainly look forward to taking other lessons with Suren: I sincerely recommend all of you with a passion for painting or cooking not to hesitate asking Suren for a private class...
Cons: Nothing

Pros: A fascinating host, a true artist (potter) who knows the area and its artistic history well. Keen to point out his copy of a painting by Monet which features his house. Parking is in a secure courtyard which is a little difficult to reverese into but which has space for two cars (there are just 2 guest rooms). No parking on the very narrow lane outside. Rooms are decorated in African and Orient styles which makes them a little different but noi less comfortable. A charming property, interesting host in a very convenient rural location for Giverny and Monets Garden.

Pros: Very peaceful location, close (less than ten mins drive) to Monet's garden in Giverny. Breakfast was included in the price and was wonderfully fresh and tasty. The room was comfortable and clean and it was lovely to sit outside in the sunshine overlooking some beautiful countryside. We even saw red squirrels one morning. Unfortunately we had had an accident and were without our car, but our hostess and her family could not have been more helpful, lending us a car, booking restaurants, taxis and liaising with the garage regarding the repair process. Although it was a stressful time they could not have done more to support us. Thank you.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hostess. Studio room very good with garden view.
Cons: All good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bedroom. Very friendly and helpful owner who gave great advice on local amenities. Our dog was made very welcome. Our breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. Parking was safe and private. We had a super visit and would recommend this accommodation.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the homely feel, exceptionally clean, wonderful hostess- very welcoming and friendly. Perfect tranquil setting, wonderful views over the valley.
Cons: Not a negative, but it would have been helpful to know that a car is really required for this hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The host, Lydia could not have made us any more welcome and we were treated almost like family. She adores animals so made a great fuss of our dog, Poppy. The location is great with stunning views over the valley. The room was very comfortable with a small balcony taking in the views.
Cons: Our only small critique would be that the bathroom was a little small and not joined to the room we stayed in. There are other rooms available with en-suite which we would look to book if we stay again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed the days in la citadelle! It was calm and the garden is very nice, at day and night! Lydia is a super host, she is friendly and offers a good and fresh breakfast.

Pros: Fabulous view across the village and valley from the bedroom balcony. Lovely continental breakfast served in host's living room, sharing table and meeting other guests. Fresh bread and croissants, delicious homemade marmalade, coffee and tea to order. Comfy bed and clean bathroom. Charming and attentive host.
Cons: We didn't realise the bathroom, although private for us, wasn't en suite, just a short step across a small passageway, but this wasn't really an issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very near Giverny (Monet's house) and La Roche-Guyon (Les Plus Beaux Village). The house is decorated for arts and has a fantastic panorama view. Breakfast is delicious. The host is very friendly and helpful.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hostess was fantastic and saved our vacation! We had a direct shuttle from CDG to the property and did not realize that there are no taxis, uber or public transit in the area. Incredibly, the hostess let us use her car which allowed us to get to town for groceries and to visit Monet's Garden....the reason for the stay! Without her kindness and generosity, I don't know what we would have done! The house looks out over beautiful farmlands and was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast outdoors with homemade apricot jam. Absolutely lovely!
Cons: The second bed is not really sufficient for an adult.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the most outstanding location ever. Just blocks from Monet’s house and gardens, la Dîme dates from the 13th century. It is beautifully and comfortably restored, mixing original look with modern and stylish conveniences. Owners let us leave luggage early and after we checked out, while we explored the town of Giverny. They gave great recommendations for both lunch and dinner, and gave us the grand opportunity to feel somewhat like locals of Giverny for a few days. We love the books around the property and the delicious breakfast, replete with French press coffee, croissants and more. We hope to return.

Pros: We fell in love with this place as soon as we walked through the gate. The room was beautiful, the host was very friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed the great selection at breakfast.
6.7 Good
Pros: Very close to location of interest
Cons: Bed was very uncomfortable. Storage facilities were non existent
9.6 Excellent
Pros: La Dîme does not disappoint when it comes to country style charm. The vibe of this bed & breakfast is very laid-back. The owners live on the property and still allow you your privacy in addition to letting you take advantage of their unique property. My friends and I arrived to check in at 6pm and we were offered food and drinks by the fire. We ended up driving into town because we were ready to eat a full warm meal and all of the restaurants nearby were closed due to the holiday. When we got back from dinner the fire was still burning, so we took a bottle of wine into the main lobby to drink by the fire. We were never interrupted, and we were able to hang out by the fire until 1am! I loved that we were able to to enjoy that experience! The room was spacious and had very comfortable beds with pillows for each person; decor is cute and minimal but well done. The bathroom was also nice & clean, with a big walk in shower. In the morning we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast in the main lobby with a beautiful view of the backyard. It was hard to leave.
Cons: Check in is at 5pm, to me that is too late, especially when you're only staying for one night. I wish check in was earlier or check out was later than 11am so that we had more than 18 hours to enjoy the hotel that we paid a bit of money for. La Dîme is not the cheapest lodging option in that area which is fine because it offers a very unique experience, but the check-in and out times should be standardized so people don't leave feeling short-handed. Lastly, this is not really a dislike but a reminder, this is a charming country-side hotel and it has bugs. We saw a BIG spider when we were sitting by the fire at night. One of my friends swore it was a Brown Recluse, which is extremely poisonous. We end up squishing it with a book just to avoid any accidents.

Pros: A beautifully restored and renovated property within very easy waling distance of restaurants in Giverny and Monet's Garden. Loads of character and history, spacious grounds and building with car parking, and pleasant, helpful owner and staff.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location in Giverny near Monet’s garden and house was perfect for my plan to arrive around 1pm, visit the house and gardens, dine locally then drive to Charles de Gaulle airport the next morning. We loved the way the original buildings had been restored and converted into accommodation. We also loved how accommodating the staff were to our need for a 7:30am breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owners of the hotel could not have been more sweet. The design of the main house is very rustic chic. The breakfast was fabulous with homemade croissants and the walk to town and Monets gardens was under 10 minutes. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at the hotel.
Cons: We opted for a room with a bathtub not knowing that a tub would be our only option. We assumed there would be a tub and a shower. Make sure to double check the room you book.

Pros: We loved the quiet village and the accomodation was lovely. Very Parisian with lots of extra touches like chocolates and lovely soaps. Breakfast was sensational! Coffee great and even had pancakes with grand marnier maple syrup. Although no restaurants nearby our host recommended and booked us a Michelin star restaurant in a near by town. The best restaurant so far!
Cons: Everything was perfect!

Pros: Lovely place, very friendly owner.
Cons: Nothing
6.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast far above French standard! Location is nice and quiet, hosts are friendly and attentive.
Cons: The room is overstuffed with questionable historicisms. I appreciate the wish to do things "in style", but there can be just an overdose of little details. On the other hand the room lacks commodities like a table for writing or sufficient power sockets. If the price, especially considering the off-season, would have been lower, everything would have been fine.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Charming hotel with super friendly owners. They gave great recommendations for dinner and day trips in the region.
Cons: For some breakfast options the hotel charges extra (e.g. eggs, cheese plate)
7.5 Good
Pros: The decoration of the room
Cons: The fact that it’s an open bathroom and the steep stairs

Pros: Very good location, close to main attraction points in town. Charming interior for historical content. Decent restaurant in the building. The hotel has own secured parking place (important for hotels in France).
Cons: Very minor maintenance issues - traces of dust on the frame of the skylight windows. Access to the parking lot (via password) can be modernized.

Cons: More menu selection please. But the food was very good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly the room was large and perfect. The location is the best so close to Claude Monet's house.
Cons: The restaurants menu is limited and the explanations could be better. Not a biggie though. It would also be good to separate reception from the restaurant. There is not elevator so can't bring big luggage upstairs.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel and restaurant, comfortable accommodations; free parking; excellent service; only 150-200 meters to Monet museum and gardens
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We drove straight there from CDG and it was an hour and half from rental car pick up. Perfect spot to stay before getting up in the morning to walk to Monet's house. We left our car in the lot and walked a few hundred km to the entrance to the gardens and house. We had dinner there when we arrived and it was delicious. Wonderful menu with amazing flavors from a new chef we were told. Breakfast was lovely and varied. Great selection.
Cons: Nothing - it was perfect!

Pros: What we wanted and was very nice
Cons: The wine cost let it dowm
5.8 Okay
Pros: Lovely location. Very good quality room and bathroom.
Cons: Apparently I should have checked the email (received AFTER booking), to tell us that both the restaurant and bar were closed on the night we arrived. I was very disappointed as this was the main reason I had booked this particular hotel. The response was a shrug of the shoulders telling me it was my fault I hadn't checked. The restaurant we were directed to, was closed on arrival! We ate in a fast food chain shop in a town 15 minutes away! In the morning we couldn't even get inside the main building to sit for a coffee. Really is there any point in offering all those facilities if we couldn't use them? Reception service - French attitude!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff very good
Cons: Swimming pool in the restaurant Restaurant service the slowest we have ever encountered
6.3 Good
Pros: Great big rooms, lovely grounds and very clean.
Cons: The staff left so we were pretty much alone all night. We were in the old stables so not in the main house and so access to facilities. The bar wasn’t open so we had to drive to get food and a drink. One room had an outdated bathroom.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Everything was to perfection. You could not fault this establishment.
