Pros: Lovely pool to swim, enjoyed an evening meal outside, large spacious room.Great breakfast.Secure bike storage.
Cons: Wifi wasnot working terribly well but no fault of property
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place with a very warm welcome. Nina is a great cook and prepares wonderful meals. Diner and breakfast were both excellent. The room was well renovated with a nice bathroom - ours was a shower room with a large shower. We'll be back!
Cons: Everything was perfect.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing near a little river and the old mill, the host Nina was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was mainly home Made and very Nice; we felt at home straight away, the rooms were very spacious and decorated in the atmosphere of the old historical building. We adored this place!
Cons: The only small remark we could make is the noise of the machine used to pump the water from the river for the annexe farm, but this didn’t ruin our stay at this great calm place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet. Romantic. Rural. Very friendly host. Makes you feel at home.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This was a true "a la ferme" address. We like those. It was very quiet, except for a continuously running electric motor in an adjacent building. However, since the sound proofing of the windows was very good, we did not hear that in the room. The breakfast was delicous! We absolutely recommend this address.
Cons: A bit difficult to find. A few more markers in the village would have been welcome. The host drove out to the village to pick us up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about this property and would happily recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the area not only because it is an extremely well run property but also because it is possible to eat there as well bringing your own food and wine.

Cons: Pool was not clean and no pool towels provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The genuine welcome, the comfort and the beautiful grounds. It is a perfect getaway.
Cons: Nothing to say here. All was fabulous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hidden gem. Lots of space, peace and a friendly service.
Cons: Nothing, but they could improve the scope of the breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: Downstairs lounge where we had a pot of tea on request. Rowing boat on lake in the cooler part of the evening. Wildlife in the ground and fish in the lake. A tranquil place. Our bedroom was nicely decorated.
Cons: It was exceptionally hot weather when we stayed...don’t take a room at the very top as the windows were too small to air the room. We tried the fan but the small rooms at the top are stifling in hot weather and di not drop below the high twenties. No water was on offer...only 250 ml bottles for 3 euros. Owner should offer glasses and free water at reception. Swimming pool was unbeaten so even at 32 degrees was still too cold to swim in when we stayed. None of the other guests used it either al5ough a family sat on the edge just to cool their feet. Owners just need to give a little more thought to their paying guests really.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! This is a beautiful property with charming hosts. Definitely worth a detour!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a lovely setting after a long drive from Gascony on our way home to England. Relaxing by the pool after a very warm day was ideal and topped off by a picnic by the lake watching the sun set. The owner was more than helpful showing us where plates, cutlery were available for our meal. Great to do after a long drive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really enjoyed seeing such a house with all it's old artefacts and family history. Friendly hosts, comfortable and clean accommodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and full of features. Very accommodating once we'd checked out as they allowed us to continue to use the pool etc for as long as we liked. Would recommend a stay here

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The region of southern Touraine is beautiful. Every village has something of interest or enjoyment to offer. This old house has been successfully modernised by its current owners while retaining the charm of the original building. It has a tiny but pleasant gym and even a sauna. The restaurant is excellent: reservation is recommended because it is popular and fills up quickly. We have stayed here several times now and warmly recommend it.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Croissants were excellent. Every was excellent just let down by restaurant staff who were very poor
Cons: Restaurant staff were very poor
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, very friendly staff, warm welcome on arrival. The owner even supplied us with a kettle when she realised that we were disappointed with the lack of tea making facilities in the room
Cons: Although not part of the deal we ate in the hotel dining room on 3 occasions and were a little dis appointed that there was a limited choice of menu.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was fabulous, large ,clean, beautiful on suite bathroom with a fantastic shower. The food in the restaurant is truly delicious and the presentation is beautiful and great value for money. A 3 course meal from €26.50.
Cons: I would have loved a kettle in the room for tea or coffee when desired but there was no problem in getting a coffee in the lobby
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed at this hotel on quite a few occasions and never been disappointed. Staff are very welcoming. The restaurant is delightful, both in terms of decor and food. The rooms are all very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are super, with a range of home made products such as breads, cakes and scrumptious compotes. We use this hotel as a staging post when travelling to the Dordogne and, if we decide to eat out there are quite a few restaurant options in nearby towns.
Cons: We really can't fault this lovely little hotel.
7.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Food not upto standard expected for a table of distinction as advertised
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were pleasant and efficient, receptionist was especially friendly and spoke perfect English The building was an interesting 18th one, modernised but maintaining character. Food was fabulous and not outrageously priced.

7.5 Good
Pros: Good food and room in fine location in the village.

Cons: No air conditioning.
6.3 Good
Pros: good location
Cons: I don't like hotels where there is no person at reception after 17:30 and I have to check in with an access code. It is impersonal and one does not feel welcomed. The place can be rather noisy - walls are thin and when people in adjacent rooms talk or watch TV is is well audible.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm and friendly welcome from our host. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was extremely clean and comfortable . We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and out host booked us a restaurant for dinner in a nearby town which was lovely. Great breakfast, a lovely quiet , peaceful and tranquil place to stay.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and peaceful place. On top of that, breakfast was very tasty. Everything was cooked by the tenant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. Freshly baked bread and brioche with a good selection of homemade jams and preserves. They sourced some gluten free bread for my wife as well. Very interesting talking with the owner over breakfast. The property is situated in the middle of glorious countryside near the Creuse River and near some beautiful historic towns. Lovely and calm after a long drive. They obviously do it right as the other people staying had been stopping there for many years.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Madame Elsa was a joy to meet and a great hostess. The room we had was small but prefecly comfortable. The properties had been renovated skillfully. A wonderful oasis of peace.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was remote, secluded. Barn annex in a garden Which we slept in exactly what we wanted. Good breakfast and host friendly and informative. Perfect exactly what we wanted for first night in France.
Cons: Difficult to find and needs good directions. No facilities nearby. Remember this is not a hotel.
8.8 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely clean family friendly

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rustic, charming, beautiful countryside, peaceful location. Hosts very welcoming. Breakfast with homemade bread, brioche and jams. Would definitely repeat the experience.
Cons: The shower was very weak, but we forgot to mention it as I'm sure every attempt would have been made to rectify the problem.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Host was very helpful. Very peaceful location.
Cons: In my accomodation the children's loft space was very limited in height, it would be better suited to smaller kids, that I expect would find it fun.

Pros: Management changed our room at our request for one with a balcony. Really pretty town and hotel a 5 minute walk to centre at most.
Cons: Restaurant available in evening for long term residents only but plenty local eateries around
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Leaving the place.
Cons: After a late check inn I havent noticed this hotel it did not have AC. During the day 40°C and at night 38-36°C. Sinking bed with winter sheets... So I have slept 2 hours from 04:00 to 06:00, all zombie going to work again with extreme hot conditions. I tried to explain to the woman at the front desk that it was impossible to me to sleep under this conditions so I wanted to chek out earlier, witch she replied "you should have asked for a fan, nobody else complained, only you. I f you want to check out its your problem you will pay all the reservation". So... what donI think? Arrogant people that only think of money and have no compassion for outsiders who got caught up in a very hot situation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and lovely property with extra effort made to make guests comfortable. A lift, which is always a bonus in France. Very friendly and even a kettle and glasses cleaner! Super good value.
Cons: Not a thing!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was okay, nothing special in the way of what was on offer, the location was nice though.
Cons: Jams in small pots, not a big fan. Prefer the bread to be on the bigger size, baguette which you could cut yourself.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very cosy and calm
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent room, espacious and comfortable. Good bedding, excellent toiletries in bathroom. Comfortable. Excellent location. Good breakfast and staff very helpful. Nice to have private parking free of charge.
Cons: The facilities: gym, sauna, hamma and pool were old. It looked more like a poor school from the 70s. Machines were not working in the gym, the pool was dirty (green stuff at the bottom of the pool and the edges). The floor on the hamman was breaking.

5.0 Okay
Cons: Accomodation very small, the flat was not really cleaned, fitness devices are all broken.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good practical place to stop in La Roche Posay which turned out to be more interesting and pretty than anticipated. The flats complex had a laverie and an open air swimming pool. The flat was large (for 2) and the bed comfortable.
Cons: Nothing just a bit soul-less.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The area is beautiful and calm...there are several facilities like tennis court and spa..but I didn't explore in detail. The staff was nice during the interactions over the phone (although it would help if they spoke english) and during checkout
Cons: The apartment was not well clean floor full of stains and dirt next to the walls, ceiling and walls also not acceptable, many spiders had set their webs for a long time now. It seemed like they've set up the room after the last hosts and then left it like that for months. The beds are not comfortable, just a basic mattress and one of those hotel extra beds with bending legs (except for the main bedroom). No air conditioning and opening the windows is not an option because it's countryside and all kinds of bugs get in. I stayed just for the night, and when I was watching a TV show on my phone I get a small cockroach crawling on the screen...I'm not saying the place is infested...but clearly the lack of human presence in the apartment and overall cleaning is inviting for bugs in general.
5.0 Okay
Pros: We were 'trialing' the establishment in the hope to stay there for the full length of the 3 week Spa treatment next time. We really liked: Clean premises. Very comfortable bed. Very clear and easy to use TV set. Good size dining table & chairs. Separate toilet (not in bathroom). Staff were brilliant, and so helpful. Good outside & underground parking with most useful lift.
Cons: The extreme height at which microwave & crockery cupboard were placed. Mostly used by women, these made me feel like a dwarf. I was advised to get everything 'down' on to another surface, but surely that is not right. What about those who do not have a 'taller husband in attendance'? Climb on chair to reach as there are no steps made available??? Apparently this is a recurrent complaint... Fridge was lacking a shelf above the vegetable tray. Awkward. Also what is the point of a mini dishwasher??? Wasted space... especially placed at floor level! Undersized bath with hand shower in it was narrow and high, slippery & difficult to use. Surely a sturdy walk-in shower would be much better.
5.4 Okay
Cons: There is no liquid to wash the kitchen vessels. no soap liquid for bathroom
6.3 Good
Cons: Good stay. There are issues with the door locks that need to be resolved. We were lucky the resception was open otherwise we would not have gotten into our room and would have slept in the car! this is a known issue . They shoud chnage the locks!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Size and could keep whole family in one apartment, which was great. No kettle though and no coffee or filters to use coffee machine
Cons: Greasy finger prints everywhere and shabby table.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice place to stay on our way to the south of France or if you go to Futuroscope. Nice Italian restaurant La Buche on 10 minutes nice walk.
Cons: Clean and comfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was ok we were 4 adults sharing so space was always going to be cramped. No free wifi as advertised in reception but not a drama. We brits like a cuppa but no kettle, and the cups were so small could not get my finger through the handle. Location is about a 3-4 minute walk to the bars/cafes on the flat.
Cons: no kettle in the room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very well equipped and a lovely location.
Cons: Beds very noisy
