Pros: Absolutely everything! Our hosts, their stunning home and the hospitality was more than we had ever experienced. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
Cons: Absolutely nothing,
Pros: From the moment we entered the residence we were made to feel so welcome. Our hosts Patty and Dave were so gracious, nothing was too much trouble, they even put on a supper for us with local produce. I travel a lot and rate the room as the nicest I have stayed in for a long time. The rooms had everything a guest may need, the toiletries were organic and divine.
Cons: Nothing it was perfect in all ways
Pros: The host's were so friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful.
Pros: Had a one night stay with Patti and David whilst heading to Sarlat, a perfect half-way stop if flying into Limoges and heading south. La Residence is a beautiful old town house, full of character and lovely décor. Huge room with a very comfortable bed and lots of luxurious toiletries. Our hosts prepared us a delicious evening meal and likewise breakfast. Thank you Patti and David for such a great start to our holiday and we hope you are BOTH reading this from Canada...
Pros: Beautiful in every way. Decor is awesome and such a lovely garden. Really comfy bed, highest standards all round. They provided all the little extras we needed. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and generous. Lovely town location plenty of free parking. Definitely re-visit.
Pros: Such a beautiful place with amazing hosts! Best night of our trip so far! Both hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The house is gorgeous, full of unique vintage antiques!
Pros: A wonderful place to stay. Beautiful house and garden. Patti and Dave were excellent hosts.
Pros: Great location: wonderful breafkast: private parking right in front of property; friendly and warm hosts!
Cons: Rainy weather...
Pros: Patti and David were excellent hosts, they even went the extra mile and cooked us a meal which was delicious . Very informative with the area. The room had everything you could want for an overnight stay. If We were in the area we would call again. Would recommend it to be the the best bed and breakfast in the area.
Cons: There was nothing bad to report.
This hotel is set in a 16th century building in La Roche-l’Abeille, in the Limousin region. It offers a garden with a terrace and a pond, and guests are invited to dine in the Michelin-starred restaurant. Each air-conditioned guest room features exposed stone walls and wooden beams, and includes a flat-screen TV and a minibar. All en suite rooms provide views of the pond or the garden. Pros: The setting of the place is magnificent with short walks in the grounds. The room we had was in a separate building within easy walking distance of reception and the dining room but was well appointed and comfortable. A nice relaxing place to stay.
Cons: The evening meal whilst being excellent was expensive. My wife and I had an aperitif each and they cost 28 euros; somewhat expensive!
Pros: The warm welcome and attention of the staff. Old style character and laid back charm of the hotel in beautiful grounds. Dinner in the restaurant was good, in particular the limousin beef steak.
Cons: The rain!
Pros: Huge beds, amazing breakfast, location is stunning and the big Bernese mountain dog that lives there is a dream
Cons: Nothing, everything was great
Cons: Bit expensive!
Pros: The people were all great. The food was super. The place is very beautiful. They were very accommodating. All in all a great stay.
Pros: Incredible staff! It was our favorite stop in France.
Cons: Room a bit small
Pros: Lovely place to stay overnight in the middle of nowhere. Immaculate rooms, beautiful setting, quiet and peaceful. The meal was gourmet, top, top standard. Amazing! But this was reflected in the price. I noticed a lovely looking restaurant in the village just outside of the Moulin’s property, so if you don’t want to splash the cash, I’m sure it would be good to try. The Moulin’s room price is exceptional value and not expensive for the space and quality you get (be warned, no WiFi in the rooms but can be obtained on the terrace and in the main property). Simple but well presented continental breakfast was fresh and very good. Food in the restaurant was pretty mind blowing! As was the wine list!
Pros: Beautiful cottage self contained
Cons: No wifi and very phone reception
Pros: Very pleasant location and virtually no flying insects in the evening. Owner and staff most welcoming and helpful. Dinner superb and excellently served too. My bed was very comfortable and it was lovely to hear the waterfall as one went to sleep !
Cons: Signposting is better in the village on the southern approach - I didn't see any signage until leaving the village, coming from the north. My room was fairly small and I wondered whether it would work very well for two people. The shower was difficult to use satisfactorily as the bath is situated under the eaves - I did mention this to Madame !

Pros: Jacqui was superb as a host and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, even dinner request at last minute on our 2nd night.
Cons: Room in a little need of decoration, which Jackie recognised and is an ongoing project for Jacqui
Pros: I had a few great days in St Yriex! The owners were very hospitable and flexible. I recommend this B&B to everyone who wants to visit the Limousin.
Pros: Great little English Bed & Breakfast in country France
Pros: Very kind owner and a lovely B&B
Cons: Some logging trucks pass by

Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Great quiet location, event meal first class.
Pros: Arnie is a true storyteller and he really understands the art of entertaining people. En plus, they are both very helpfull so our stay was like coming home.
