Pros: This was the most extraordinary treat - so good we could hardly believe it! The place is beautiful, breakfasts were superb, the rooms were quite outstanding - beautiful, impeccably clean, so comfortable, and Nicolas and Andre were great hosts and ensured we had everything we needed. The pool was a real bonus!
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Pros: The host and the whole experience especially breakfast was tres, tres bien!!! We stayed for 1 night on our way back from a holiday in spain and France It was a perfect travelling distance to the wonderful city of Rouen (about 1 hour) which we visited on the way back to the UK
Pros: I visited the chateau with my husband as part of our honeymoon trip. André and Nicolas were just great, always attentive to us, helpful, talkative and super nice. Our stay was quiet and beautiful, just as we expected. The same applies for the bedroom: we got the suite, which was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. Thanks André and Nicolas for such delightful stay. We will be back!! ❤️
Pros: The chateau has been beautifully renovated over 25 years by the owners. The room we had was both beautiful and large, with all comforts. Hosts were very gracious and helpful.
Cons: Can’t think of anything.
Pros: Everything about it .we found it absolutely wonderful and can’t wait to go again next Saturday and hopefully in the near future too !!!!
Cons: There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like , it was superb in every way ! My wife loved every minute of our stay .
Pros: Serene setting. Beautifully maintained property and gardens. Welcoming and attentive owners.
Pros: Lovely room which was a suite with massive bedroom. Breakfast very nice. Perfect secluded location.
Pros: My wife and I had a fantastic 6 night stay at Chateau du Mesnil. André and Nicolas were so helpful during our stay. They assisted with recommendations on places to visit and restaurant to eat at, even reservations. The place is peaceful & relaxing especially by the pool. Our room which was upstairs in the outbuilding and was just superb and breakfast fully met our needs, Andre just couldn’t do enough for us, he even got up extra early on our last day to ensure we were fed breakfast for our drive back to England! We are already planning our next visit back! Many thanks Andy & Hayley
Cons: Nothing, everything was just great.
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful, - lots of fresh ripe fruit and yogurt and all sorts of croissants as well as excellent bread and jams. There was a good selection of cheese also for those who want protein in the morning. Coffee was superb. Our hosts were relaxed and very friendly. They have created a wonderful oasis of grandeur, tranquility and comfort in the middle of the French countryside. This property is truly unique.
Cons: This is not a comment on the property - rather on the practical matter of getting an evening meal. One has to drive to get any food in the evening, and on Mondays and Tuesdays most places nearby are closed. But the roads in the area are deserted and getting around to find somewhere to eat is fairly easy. But after a long day on the road, this is not ideal. I would have liked to have had the chance to make my own coffee/tea in our room, although the hosts will provide a drink outside of breakfast if you ask.

Pros: The hostess and host made us feel totally at home and it seemed like nothing was too much trouble. I am a vegan(which in France is not very understood) and our first night there they cooked us a delicious meal which we ate in the garden over looking fields of sheep on the most beautiful table: a small silver bird vase with flowers from the garden, the crispest of white lace anglaise table cloth, sparkling glasses....They gave my husband some wonderful local cheeses and and for breakfast possibly the most delicious (homemade) yogurt he has ever eaten. Our bedroom was beautiful (maybe a little hot, but we are in the middle of a heat wave)! We would recommend staying here to anyone who likes a graceful life.
Pros: Everything! Delightful friendly hosts, beautiful & comfortable room in a lovely Home with equally beautiful surroundings, We enjoyed a simple & delicious evening meal sat in the garden overlooking the river - breakfasts were also excellent & both included Local & Home produce. Faultless & will certainly visit again any time we are in the area.
Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like or that could be done better. A Perfect stay.
Pros: Home made breakfast and care from the owners made our stay extra special
Cons: we had our little baby with us and worried that the sound of our boy could affect others staying in the property so be mindful of others when staying.

Pros: The bedroom I stayed in has just been refurbished to a high standard The bed was very comfortable Beautifully decorated Peaceful and quite area of France Good welcoming hosts Very clean and tidy English speaking Information provided on places to visit
Cons: No Wi-fi. Breakfast was very poor (three small pieces of toast and a boiled egg). No tea or coffee supplied. Towels were not replaced in the morning. Poor facilities in the kitchen. No wardrobe to hang clothes. The only thing dividing the privacy in the bedroom was a wood/glass partition with curtains. Security of private items was none existent. A turkey that didn’t like men. No rack in the shower to put shower gel on. No shower mat. (One was supplied halfway through the week) Towels not replaced on a daily basis. No lock on the door when vacated your bedroom. Little privacy. Woken up by other guests coming and going because of glass partition between the bedroom and communal area, creaking floorboards and door hinges. Having to get dressed to make a coffee in the kitchen instead of having a kettle in the bedroom Would I stay here again - NO
Pros: Building was fabulous, madam was helpful and accommodating. Home produced honey and apple juice for breakfast was an added bonus. The foal was nice to see.
Cons: Lack of hairdryer, dirty and unfinished kitchen with missing items which were referred to at time of booking. The separate toilet was downstairs and through a shared lounge which was weird.
Cons: Our bedroom and bathroom were upstairs but toilet downstairs
Pros: The rural situation, the animals, the owner.....everything was a delight.
Cons: Our ‘own’ kitchen was out of action, but instead we were able to use the main kitchen for our supper.
