Pros: This is such a wonderful place to stay that I don't know where to start. The house has been lovingly restored with beautiful wooden beams and floors, and our rooms (the one bedroom suite) were spacious, light, comfortable and clean. Kamille was a wonderful host, letting us check in late (a dodgy sat-nav led us astray) and even arranging for some delicious food. Breakfast was superb - the term "continental" doesn't do it justice - we had homemade bread, homemade jam and local honey (it was so good we even bought some to take away). Other things to note: we couldn't hear any of the other guests, we didn't make use of it but there's a well-equipped kitchenette in the suite, the shower was great - but note that you need your own toiletries. Everyone one of our party said they would like to go back and stay longer next time.
Cons: This is by no means a complaint but it's worth being aware that the top flat which we rented is accessed via some very steep stairs. My mum, who's 70 with a slight knee problem, managed but it wouldn't be suitable for someone with more limited mobility - there are other rooms, so I suggest checking in with Kamille. We had the 'One-Bedroom Suite' for reference.
Pros: An amazing early century decoration, you feel like life stopped a 100 yrs ago, very cozy and you feel home in no time. The owner is a wonderful, warm and very welcoming lady. I’d DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone who needs to reconcile with nature and an calm and beautiful environment. A car is needed though since there is nothing closer than 10 km
