Pros: The room itself is way bigger and better than I thought.
Cons: No clear instruction for checkin or no clear sign at the front gate. We waited for more than 15 mins under the heat for the staff to arrive.
Pros: Room not ready at check in time of 4.00pm. had to wait 30 mins. Nothing offered to compensate for inconvenience, not even a cool drink after a long 4 hour drive.
Cons: Delivery on agreed check in time.
Pros: the staff and central location
Cons: All rooms apart from 1 were small and bathrooms even smaller
Pros: Great bed, large and bright room, nice bathroom

Pros: The host was very customer focussed and really flexible in meeting all our wishes: changing rooms so the family would be together, arranging breakfast earlier and organising a drink and snack when we arrived late. The rooms were large and there is a beautiful fruit-tree garden, where one can get lost.
Cons: We didn't discover the area, as we were travelling through so can't comment on the area.
Pros: The room was amazing. The breakfast was super with plenty of fresh fruit. The hostess, Vanda, was lovely and very helpful. The gardens were beautiful. We loved it here. Top marks.
Pros: Manager and staff so kind, that definitely makes guests feel welcomed and the stay pleasant.
Pros: Very pleasant and friendly
Cons: Europe is today Chash-Free. They must accept card payment.
Pros: everything! extremely nice people, very beautiful clean rooms, great breakfast, totally comfortable
Pros: The room had a couch. The host was very kind and welcoming, although she spoke very little English. The dining room was like in a castle. The owners had several dogs who came to greet us at breakfast (so cute and friendly!).
Cons: The bathroom was very loud. The owner was smoking in the kitchen, while we were having breakfast, so some smoke came in the dining room, which was not nice.
Pros: The property was immaculate and clean, fresh flowers from the garden displayed in vases.
Cons: The pool was dirty, looked more like a pond. Needed cleaning out

Pros: It was modern and everything was in good condition
Cons: There was nothing not to like
Pros: The host is super nice and accomodating. We chose this location because it’s 30min from the airport and we had an early flight driving from the south to Lisbon. This way avoided driving through the city.
Pros: Very clean room, modern furnishing, kind owner
Cons: It's a little bit isolated from the city center
Pros: The staff is very nice ! There’s a lady that was worried about our well being all the time , she is so nice and gave us very good tips about everything.
Cons: The neighbors - a dog did not let us sleep past 8:30 , it was barking all the the time.
Pros: Sort of cheap I guess. It had all the basic needs even if the most important ones weren’t working
Cons: Location was seedy, air-con didn’t work even though it was summer. The place smelled like there was a leak or the sewer was backing up and there was a tiny little window to try and air the room out. Needless to say I didn’t stay one night of the three days I booked for, I cut my losses and stayed at the Quinta de São Martinho 1 klm away as i couldn’t explain the problem to the host as she did not speak a word of English. Also hard to get to if you have luggage. Probably should be cheaper to stay in based on the quality.
With a stay at Cambeiros - Guest House in Alenquer, you'll be 17.7 mi (28.5 km) from Buddha Eden and 21.6 mi (34.8 km) from Porto Novo Beach. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I loved the place. The pool, the paths to stroll around the property, the breakfast, the quietness and the view. The host was very friendly. I got lost on the way and I arrived quite late on the evening, but he waited for me and was super friendly. He is very approachable and always happy to help. I travelled on my own, but there is a communal area (inside and outside) where you can relax and I did some work there with the amazing view.
Cons: I booked the accommodation with the kitchenette, but there was only a microwave, a sink, a coffee machine and a small fridge. As I was travelling on my own I didn't fancy going out for dinner every evening so hence why I wanted to make my own food and expected a bigger equipped kitchenette. However, I now have learned how to microwave cook which was fun too. Another thing to keep in mind is that it's very difficult to get to if you use google as google tried to direct me through a vineyard. I suggest to drive to the village (Aldeia Gavinha) first and then put your pin on the map just before the next accommodation au claire de vignes.
Pros: Beautiful location. Buildings superbly designed. Surroundings and pool were really excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful in every way
Pros: Everything was perfect!
Pros: The rooms were very nice, well decorated and brand new!
Cons: The accessibility to the location. Terrible roads! It has to be changed in order to keep the prices that they’re asking for the rooms, otherwise is very overpriced .
Pros: Excellent breakfast.
Cons: The access to the property needs to be improved.

Pros: Everything was perfect. Only good service could be more diverse for lunc or dinner
Pros: Lovely guesthouse! Staff were very helpful and informative. Even did our laundry! We were doing the Portuguese Camino and walked 5 km from Azambujo to guesthouse, but it was worth the extra kms.Room very spacious and very clean. A lovely swimming pool and a lot of public space. Lovely breakfast!
Pros: Everything was brilliant. Pool lovely. Very quiet place. Gorgeous
Cons: This place is amazing. Small things. We selected a double instead of twin and the double was 2 singles together that's fine though and the wifi not high speed so couldn't stream tv but was good enough for work mails etc
Pros: Beautiful environment, peaceful, amazing friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Bed mattresse was a bit worn other than that it was perfect
Pros: Lovely view - though you do need to be fairly fit if you want to walk back from town - no great distance but steep. The hostess was very friendly & provided tea and cake on arrival.
Cons: The 10 euros each that we were asked for for use of the pool was a bit much out of our budget for one night so we never saw the pool without its cover - admittedly the description did mention a charge.
Pros: The hostess was friendly and helpful, and welcomed us with a beer and some delicious orange cake. The facilities are good, with a room near the pool where you can eat, and a family room with table tennis and some other things set up. There’s a supermarket within walking distance. We had a weird mix up where our hostess offered to book us into a good restaurant but when we got there, via the supermarket to get cash (all on foot), the restaurant was full and hadn’t heard from her. We ended walking all the way back to the supermarket and picked up some food to eat by the pool which was actually quite nice after two weeks of big dinners.
Cons: We were going to be charged €5 each to use the swimming pool, and since we were leaving too early to have breakfast this seemed an unnecessary and unfair fee (that isn’t mentioned in the ad). There’s no card facility so you need to pay cash and as it was our last night in Portugal we had deliberately run ourselves out. Seems like this should also be in the ad.
Pros: The host was amazing. We were invited in the evening for FREE tea/ coffee and various cakes. She treated us like her family. Breakfast was excellent with eggs from their farm. All in all one of the best hostess we had.
Pros: The owner was extremely friendly, showing me around and explaining everything. Also arranged a taxi the following morning. Room, maybe a touch small, was ok with a double bed, wardrobe, seating/extra bed(?). Could also sit outside the room with a view over the town, or there was a pool are you sit. Excellent facilities, pool, sauna, hot tub, pool table.
Cons: Travelling ‘on foot’ it was not readily accessible unless you are specifically travelling through the town. I was lucky to flag down a passing taxi at the nearest train station a few KM away. Property is on a hill, so has a rather steep road to walk or drive up...but once there a good view over the town/area.
Pros: Maria, was very pleasant to chat with she went out of her was to make us comfortable, the breakfast was homemade and delicious.
Pros: Yummy cake always available
Pros: Felt like home away from home. Could relax.
Pros: The hosts were great! My navigation didn't work and upon arrival I called the Quinta and the Madame came by car to show me the way :) Although allready 21.45 she made me a croque madame, gave me fresh fruit and a good glas of local wine. They both gave me great advices on where to have a good local lunch and about places that might be interesting for me to visit in Portugal. The dog Valentina was very sweet! My tiny terrace was an oasis: great view and noices from the animals in the surrounding: goats, a cocq, dogs and sheep
Cons: The pillows were to hard for me but thats what one find allmost everywhere. I would have liked a window in my room but had one in the bathroom so enough fresh air and spent allmost all the time when there on the terrace or downstairs alongside the swimmingpool so fine
Pros: Fantastic place, best breakfast of all the places we stayed. Amazing views! Great swimming pool and very beautiful rooms. Excellent value!
Pros: The owner is fantasic, we muddles through in a mixture of English, French and Portuguese and she was only too glad to help out at every possible opportunity. She makes her own cakes, cheese, jams etc and they are all available to try. It was a very warm and friendly experience.
