Los Siete Reyes - Aínsa - Bedroom
1
9.5 Excellent (318 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Los Siete Reyes in Ainsa, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Ainsa Main Square and Museum of Traditional Arts and Crafts. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The list of positives is endless. 10 doesn’t seem good enough. The hospitality was exceptional. All the staff were so helpful. Isabelle in particular was brilliant, welcoming us and helping us to enter the square (closed to cars after 1pm) to allow us to unload our bags. She also carried our bags to our room which was more than than we expected! Car parking is quite easy - head for the large car park by the castle and the hotel will give you a slip to display in your windscreen. We had a balcony overlooking the square, and other rooms have balconies facing the mountains. Aínsa is beautiful and we spent some time enjoying an aperitif on our balcony prior to heading out for dinner. The room was so well designed and so comfortable, with a separate dressing area and huge shower. The mattress was the most comfortable I have ever slept on - and was huge! The hotel provides modern comfort without eliminating the history of the building or surroundings. In the morning, we had breakfast served on the square. Once again the staff were so friendly and helpful. Aínsa is a superb place to spend a day or two, but if you’re thinking of going, I would stay here. Fantastic. We were genuinely sad to leave.
Cons: Nothing. Better than perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is just great. First of all, it is well located right on the main square. Rooms in the back have a great view of the mountains. Rooms in the front have a nice look at the Square. The staff was really helpful. This place seems like it was put together by a professional designer. Everything was top notch. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: There was really nothing we did not like.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location just minutes walk from the medieval old town and supermarket across the street. Well enough equipped kitchenette, comfy beds, modern interior design & bathrooms. English speaking staff very helpful.
Cons: On-site parking was full and had to park across the river (not a huge deal). Shower design has possibility to create leaks, be careful!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the new part of town; had all the amenities; rented one of the newer apartments overlooking the river; hotel caters to bikers;
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good value. Everything was great
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really spacious room for family of 3, self-catering possibility with super effective fridge. The room was clean and comfortable, comfy beds, well-functioning ac, a nice little balcony with river views (although we had some trees in front of the view). Very friendly receptionist, she helped us with the parking (we made a reservation to the garage). Everything in a walking distance. The dinner was great! Biker friendly hotel.
Cons: Staff working in the bar was not always so polite, but the tapas were delicious.
7.0 Good
Pros: nice big rooms, tastefully furnished, soundproof and private, good quality of towels, airco works good, nice balcony facing the water and the old town, good location, not far from the historic old town of Ainsa, pharmacy and food store nearby
Cons: staff in the reception speak ok English but people in the resto's speak minimal English, basic knowledge comes handy, a little bit of dust in the rooms on the furniture and the floor, the breakfast is basic but sufficient with white bread, eggs, sometimes yogurt and one coffee machine that you mostly have to lined up for. No fresh squeezed orange juice but juice from the box. Nice terrace to have a drink and something to eat after a hard day but be early! Between 16:00 and 20:00 only desserts and tappa's. Generally in Spain open the restaurants for dinner around 9pm. If you want to do hiking, plan on driving a little to the national parks which are in the range of 50km from Ainsa. There are a few nice tracks that you can do locally just walking out of the hotel. This hotel is popular with a lot of motor bikers. The tracks in the area are minder refined compared to Northern Italy or Austria. The nature is beautiful and raw. Prepare for a little challenge such as chains or steep climbing. There are not so many facilities where you can get a drink or eat onderway. Mostly local Spanish tourists, just a few foreigners but almost in every little village is an information center where you get by with French or English and where you get good advice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, amazing food! Rooms were spacious and beautiful, the stuff was kind and helpful!
Cons: Every thing was perfect!
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything! Spacious rooms with great decor (we were a family of 4, with kids 9 and 6 years old). View from the balcony is wonderful. Staff was extremely helpful and the location is super. Our deal didn’t include a breakfast so we added it at a great price of 7.5€/5.5€ per adult/child.
Cons: WiFi connection a bit slow.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host takes very good care of his quests. Gives a lot of information about the area and I could even use his hide for watching birds. Every day a different, well-prepared meal and no problem being a vegetarian. Location very good for exploring the Pyrenees. Situated in a quiet village just outside Ainsa. Many birds nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Miguel was a superb host. He gave us lots of information and knew about all the birds in the area and helped us identify different birds. There were so many books, maps and guides available to guests. A nice continental breakfast and evening meal. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: The accommodation was exactly what we were expecting and weren't disappointed. We wished we were staying longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely setting, very hospitable and helpful host. Good food, locally sourced. A tasty meal was provided in the evening even though we hadn't ordered. We found a library full of pertinent information. We hope to return for a longer visit.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We only had an overnight stop here but it left us with a real wish to return. The host was very friendly, the house is not super luxurious but felt very welcoming. We called mid afternoon and asked to book for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the regional dishes we were served. Breakfast was delightfully Spanish and included home made plum jam and home made cake. The view from the dining room was stunning!
Cons: The only drawback were the stairs, as we were travelling with my 93 year old mother! However she was delighted to have a shower rather than a bath and having managed the stairs to the dining room felt the view was definitely adequate compensation!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The warmest hospitality, delicious food, lovely rural area, fantastic tips for trips and an unforgettable experience watching birds from the hide. A massive thank you to the host. I hope to return for more bird watching!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quaint property with a very gracious host.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Although, the hotel is located one street back from the main road, it was quiet. It has a lift. The rooms and bathrooms were a decent size. The breakfast was abundant (two pieces of toast, a piece of sponge cake, two cupcakes, butter, jam, coffee or tea, orange juice per person). The lady at reception was kind, helpful and homey. The landscape in this area is beautiful.
Cons: Few amenities in the bathroom, although they did lend me a hair dryer.

Pros: Wow – thank you Miguel. Wonderful hotel – really nice rooms with character. Wonderful building in beautiful setting in the old square. Nice bar and restaurants nearby. Hotel sent us a map to help us find them and made us feel very welcome. One of the highlights of the holiday.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great location in the old village, beautiful stone house
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The room was cold + dark (minimal natural light). Stuffy/mouldy smell. The heater didn't work. Very small room. Old worn furniture. No wifi in rooms. Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Check-in was "negotiated" to 1900 as no one would be at the property prior to this. Seems like it was closed mid-week and we were the only guests on the Thursday so owner simply came up at last moment. Very poor nights sleep and we didn't feel comfortable at all. Left after one night on a 3 night booking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a fabulous time at Casa Cruz - Jorge and Ana were the nicest hosts and their Casa is really warm, welcoming and full of character. The rooms are large and very, very comfortable. Our group of six enjoyed a super breakfast in front of the wood-burning stove before heading off to walk and explore the local mountain trails. We will certainly be returning and are keen next time to try the mountain bikes available to rent. This place is a real gem!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners were amazing and made the stay very pleasant. They were super nice and gave us great tips for our stay. The location is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. The hotel is located in an old house feeling very authentic.
Cons: Usually in such high place there's no need of A/C but on the specific day we were there it was very hot with no fan or A/C. On normal days i don't think it should be a problem.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well worth an upgrade to the appartments which are large having a separate lounge and small kitchen. Good evening food and the breakfast is decent without being spectacular. Small pool on the roof to cool off in with access to a large open air pool about a 10 minute walk away. Fascinating old town a walk up the hill opposite. Underground parking available at a reasonable price.
Cons: Nothing really - it's a great base from which to explore the area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful and nice, they gave us informations about where to walk. Room very clear and very big. Small pool on the top of the hotel. Hotel not fare from the old city, 10 mn walking.
Cons: there was a huge bath but it didn t work. We only can used it as a shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed 1 night in this lovely hotel. Great location at the village center. They have an adjacent restaurant as well. Nice room with kitchenette.
Cons: Our room was facing the street. Too noisy in the morning... better stay at the back rooms

7.5 Good
Pros: The proximity to the vilage Clean on suit
Cons: The kitchen was left unattended The resturant is of very poor food quality with way to expensive prices for waht they have
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel close to the old town. Excellent secure parking for our motorcycles across the road. Outdoor pool on the top floor was a very pleasant surprise, especially after a day spent riding around the great local roads in the heat. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend for a group of bikers
Cons: Nothing!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was big and comfortable, the room was clean and modern and it was a joy to unwind there after a long hot day. The motorcycle parking was excellent. Although it is not in the old town the location is comfortable (not at the top of a hill) and not too far to walk into the old town.
Cons: The bathroom had a few small stains from water damage. The breakfast was good but the coffee machine doesn't actually make decaf or hot chocolate, it only provides hot water for you to mix your own from powdered packets. This was fine in the end but it was not clear so we wasted a few cups of water and felt pretty silly before we asked for help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this hotel, great location, breakfast and parking! Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Nothing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Booked for 10 lads on a driving trip, this was by far the best place we stayed on our trip from Leicester to Amsterdam to Benidorm, a year ago I stayed at a hotel close by and thought this one looked better, but it turned out there is no comparison this is a far superior hotel, it's actually better than the photos look which doesn't normally happen, they have limited parking but managed to park our 4 cars and could not be more helpful, very clean, very comfortable, when I return to Ainsa i will definitely be booking here again.
Cons: Cannot fault anything

Cons: None
5.7 Okay
Pros: Nice room with good view of river
Cons: No restaurant, bar is smokey
4.7 Okay
Pros: Nothing partcicularly.
Cons: The open smoking policy. The entire hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. In addition, to have a breakfast included in the hotel price that was held in an open smoking public bar was unacceptable in the extreme. Spain needs to get themselves out of the middle ages in smoking policy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: we found it had very helpful staff, the room was very clean, warm and comfortable. secure car parking. ideal stop over for France/Spain.
5.6 Okay
Pros: In the centre of Ainsa. It provided a comfortable bed for the night. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Plenty of Restaurants nearby.
Cons: The entrance to the supposedly secure Car Park managed to damage 2 out of 3 bikes in our party because of the severe camber on either side of the gate track. They were so badly damaged our friends couldn't continue their holiday. The Air Conditioning unit in my room leaked so badly it flooded the bedroom within one hour. Only one member of Staff really tried to help and liaise with us. The Bar / Cafe within the hotel (open to the public) was very rough & ready.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff very relaxed atmosphere the hotel is very much part of the community ,large public bar/cafeteria and while the description says it has no parking there is parking

Quiet location a short distance from town centre, which suited us. Good size room, with two armchairs, table and nice big en-suite.
Cons: What's not to like? ( see previous answer).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean, great value for money and secure parking. Wide range of food for breakfast and very reasonable prices in the bar. Very hospitable staff.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Always great, always quiet, can always park outside and breakfast included (eggs bacon etc) Reception very kind and full of advice (about everything! )
Cons: Nothing to complain about. The blue "on" light on the TV was a bit bright and lit up the room at night... Perhaps get a pen and draw over it! Maybe a tiny stool outside on the balcony so you can sit down?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Other hotels take note. For 60 euros for a single room this is what you expect. Ie good sound insulation (ie good door and walls). Excellent shower. I also had a nice little balcony. Very happy! i managed to park right outside and I am sure you can too. Also the whole hotel tends to cater for walkers so very little risk of noise at night. Breakfast was good too.
Cons: Everything was great. Maybe put a folding chair on the balcony so you don't have to sit on the floor! But I understand the neighbours opposite may not want all the guests on their balconies. I think that the restaurant nearby would do well if they offer a "menu de noche" for 15 euros! But no, everything was great and I was very happy for the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close walk to town, very clean, nice staff and excellent breakfast and value.
8.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really good with us and our pigeon Spanish. Hotel was well equipped with beer and snacks, good food for dinner and breakfast plus the rooms were spacious and comfy with a balcony. The hotel also has underground parking so if you’re on a motorcycle, it’s a fantastic place to leave the bike for the night. Hotel is only 5 minutes off the N260 so also a good location
Cons: Labuerda is not particularly lively so there’s nothing much going on outside the hotel. Can always drive/ride into Ainsa if required.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I had been traveling for quite some time so when I got to the hotel it was a relief to be met by what I saw. The reception and staff was nice, the room itself was excellent, very well furnished. Nice layout with plenty of room to relax. Flat screen TV with a couple of English speaking channels. Clean sparkling bathroom. And there is a balcony. There is limited parking on the hotel premises but there is also roadside parking where you should get a spot. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant which looked like it is used by the locals as well as paying guests.
Cons: The nearest town is Ainsa but proximity to it wasn't great. You will have to drive into the town if you want any food and entertainment. Ainsa is beautiful and will be worth the visit. I did eat at the hotel, the value seemed good but I was a little disappointed. Probably more down to my choice than what was served, but with hindsight I would have preferred to have eaten in the town.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Local flavor. Building with character. Excellent food. Felt like were staying at a family members home.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: very clean and modern
Cons: little noisy
7.0 Good
Pros: Fonda Carrera is beautifully renovated and feels like a museum when you walk in, with lots of historical objects on display - very interesting. Our room was in a separate building around the corner, which was a bit of a surprise. Again this building was recently renovated to an extremely high standard. There was a very large communal kitchen and dining area and a communal lounge, patio and barbecue, though the patio had no seating. So the whole arrangement is quite unusual, although we enjoyed it. Beautiful ensuite bathroom. Excellent bar and restaurant in the main Fonda. Very interesting area to explore.
Cons: The bedrooms, although beautifully done, were rather small, considering the size of the whole building. Balcony too small to sit on which was disappointing. We enjoyed the stay, but feel that the description was inaccurate, so we had been expecting something different.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is magnificent! After a long and rather nail-biting drive over the Pyrenees from France, we arrived at this wonderful hotel. The staff were so accommodating; the location to die for; the food at dinner wonderful (and reasonably priced); and the spa the best I've ever been in. I splurged on a massage a few hours after we arrived which also gave me access to the spa pools the next day. I had the place to myself -- several pools with varying types of jets and water temperatures along with steam rooms, several types of shower, and saunas. I've been to quite a few spas over the years and this one was by far the best. I wish I could have stayed in there forever but we needed to move on to our next destination. The hotel is very reasonably priced for the service and high standard of comfort you get. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing! Everything really was perfect.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big hotel for area. Very nice. Friendly staff. Had dinner in Bar area ( with our dog, not allowed in restaurant - totally fine) Good price
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff always available without much waiting and serving us with special big tea, rooms had space for 4 and price was really good for this quality of hotel even though we were just two. We especially enjoyed spending time at the pool. The spa was nice, too, although slightly overpriced paid per hour. Just few minutes away from beautiful Ainsa where you can find lots of restaurants and nice walks.
Cons: It's right next to the road and although there were some places to take walks around, we didn't find any good hiking path starting nearby, plus there was some digging site on the other side of the road (not that it bothered the stay but the scene wasn't that great). The water level in the river was quite low which prevented rafting or any activities there and the local adventure companies are all in Ainsa needing reservation and minimum amount of people even for canoeing. Those aren't exactly the hotel's fault, though, but I think the best time to come here is around May-June. The spa price shouldn't be per hour, felt pretty pricey even though it's not uncommon.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Absolutely nothing!
Cons: this hotel is just awful! Staff rude and acted like we were unwelcome visitors! I cannot see why any one has given a good review for anything! Rooms filthy, balcony covered in bird mess, dead insects all over floor! Just disgusting all over. And as for sound proofing this is completely false we heard every movement from room next door and the lights were broken in hallway so couldn't even see how to get to our very disgusting room! Disappointing on every level
7.5 Good
Pros: View from the terrace and breakfast.
Cons: View of the car park from our room. Housekeeping rather stingy with toiletries, towels & loo roll!
