Overall friendly staff, clean very large rooms and nice small water park indoors and out for families. Decent drinks at the bar. Nice location. Comfy beds, great housekeeping, I would stay again. Poor excuse for a Starbucks, don't expext much or let the sign fool you. Key to room did not work almost DAILY and needed to be fixed at reception desk. Front desk staff apparently not trained to do a key card for the rooms.
Clean, quiet, courteous staff, water park is lovely
Rooms were big, daughter loved the water park
Room was pleasant, as well as the patio area (although it was too cold to use, it was a nice feature). Starbucks staff were nice, as well as the limited interactions we had with the front desk staff. Work in the lobby was being done; it was VERY loud as they were trying to remove and replace the floor. Breakfast was mediocre. We wanted to stop for a drink in the Pub after returning from dinner and the grease smell was overpowering. Waterpark had only 5 lounge chairs, the rest were regular patio chairs lined up in rows. Although I had no problem with the slides being closed, I don't know why the outdoor area of the hot tub couldn't be left open as well.
I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. My room had a fridge and microwave, and a new flat screen TV. The complimentary breakfast was limited, but there was enough selection if you're staying for a few nights or less. The owners staff the front desk, and they were very friendly. I will definitely look to stay here again. And the price per night was considerably less than other hotels in the area. The rooms are on the small side, but for me it was no problem because I was there by myself. Families would likely need two rooms. Also, the bed could have used another pillow or two. But to be fair, I didn't ask for an extra one.
It's very nice if you're satisfied with the bare minimum. The staff is very efficient, however not especially friendly. Free coffee and sweets or cereal for breakfast.
Very nice staff and good value for the cost.
Location is great, packaged bakery items in the morning was convenient and the staff was nice Rooms did not feel clean, could use a "refresher". The coffee was not good.
Found the only room available in Minocqua on a busy summer weekend. Beds were comfortable, room was spartan but functional. Over $100/night was way too much for the amenities, but apparently that is the going rate for all hotels in this area. "Continental breakfast" was a rack of pre-packaged foods you could find at a gas station, and the coffee was terrible.
For the price it was ok. The room was scented. That always makes me feel they are covering something up. Coffe & breakfast was poor. Better not to have a breakfast, but provide a wonderful coffe.
Nothing Everything. The pool had algae or something - couldn't even see the bottom of the pool. The room was outdated, anything metal in bathroom was rusty, side of the whirlpool tub was loose and wobbly. Funky smell throughout hotel. No 'quality' at this Inn.
Several things needed repair in my room.
The spacious room and the quiet plus the great breakfast. Everything was great.
Location to all of the places I wanted to go to in Minocqua Pool had algae in bottom of it Breakfast room had an ant problem and they crawled on my 3 year old son

The staff was just so fun and nice. They were great on the phone and again in person....gracious, helpful, silly. It was a lot of fun to stay there.. Yes! We had three of us in one room with no couples and we could n't get a rollaway bed because of your fire regulations. We had no way around it. I found that very frustrating. Not exactly an issue with our room but there should be some way to do that.
The staff was very personable. We were not there long as we went to a show and supper. Did not get to use the pool. No complaints.
The staff where very friendly. They were very laid back and let people enjoy themselves. The breakfast and coffees where excellent. Very pet friendly. Super comfy beds and very clean. The only thing that was wrong was with the hot tub that we were all looking forward too. It was only 82 degrees. The pool was warmer than the hot tub. The front desk lady tried her best to try and get it hotter but couldn't. They should of called repair
location hot tub was not working. breakfast items ran out and weren't restocked.
The location was excellent as I ride the Bearskin Trail. The clerk on duty was very helpful as we had called to ensure a first floor accessible room and had been told it would be done but upon arrival had been assigned a second floor room. It was changed The fact that we had been ensured a first floor accessible room and upon arrival had to have the clerk change our room to first floor. Lisa had promised the change but must have gotten busy and forgot?
It served our purpose. There supplies seemed limited. Had to ask for towels for the pool. Both mornings they were out of sausages for breakfast.
It was clean and very comfortable--lots of amenities. We did not get a chance to use the pool but it looked great. The breakfasts were tasty. The staff was very accomodating. I would certainly book the Waulity In Minocqua again. No
We stayed over on a Friday night before heading up for a week in the cabin. Clean hotel located right at the north end of downtown, within walking distance of all the shops. Nice pool and hot tub, and the free hot breakfast was nice as well. They even give you two-for-one drink cards for their bar. Within 30 minutes of checking in, we discovered our toilet wouldn't flush. Called the lobby and was told they'd have to move us to another room because the maintenance man had gone home for the day. This was at 3 in the afternoon. What would they have done if the hotel had been full?
