friendly help full staff noisy fan in room even when switched off. very basic room and dated from the 80's - sweets on pillows??? also said it was 5 minute walk drom station, reason for booking, wasn't and had to find a taxi.
small friendly hotel not having a lift as we had a lot of luggage
The lady at reception and very helpful and friendly. Limited menu for dinner as out of beef, dirty bedroom and ensuite
Breakfast and Dinner both were excellent
breakfast and dinners were excellent
it was really near to the airport which is why we chose it. the breakfast that was available. a cooked breakfast would've been good.
Price, parking and close to Beauvais Airport ( car is necessary) Wifi was terrible. I went to the front desk to ask is there was anything that could be done to improve on the signal, and I was told that it might improve after 10 PM. This, unfortunately, was not the case. This was one of the worst Internet connections I've experienced anywhere, and I travel a ton.
We had a problem with our room, we where moved to a better room straight away. The staff on reception couldn't speak English so had a job asking question about food.
The hotel is rather shabby in its interior decor, it needs a make over.
The room was clean, quiet and comfortable - great value for money. The fact that the family room was on the top floor and there was no lift meant numerous trips up and down with luggage.
Price was very important as we were using the hotel as an overnight stop off prior to flying out the next day. Breakfast was substantial and great value ...well done. Hallways were a bit dark but that's it.
Friendly staff and good value for money
Nice location, very helpful and friendly staff, varied breakfast. tiny tiny but tidy rooms.
the italian restaraunt next door nowhere to walk safely in area.....shuttle bus cost 4 euro per person to airport and no taxi availability-----no airconditioning and windows only opened on full length which could have allowed vermin or intruders so had to remain closed
It is quite close to the Beauvais airport and suitable for late arrivals. It was o.k. for the purpose.
Good price for a nice place to sleep
Good place to stay if you need an overnight stop close to Beauvais Airport. Clean, Tidy, Friendly Staff.
Location to airport and WIFI. It served it's purpose, but not much in the immediate area without a car.
proximity to beauvais airport n/a
The friendliness of staff. Location was unattractive.
Everything was OK, we stayed there just for one night before our flight from Beauvais-Tille. Clean and quite spacy room.
calm No phone in the room. Wifi not working. No staff available in the castle most of the time. Was given a code to enter the castle but no one was there. Bar closed, no soda/water distributor in the hotel. Castle was unattended all night. Only customers present in the castle.
During our stay Paris was extremely busy due to the car expo and no cabs were available to take us for dinner since we were somewhat away from Paris, so even though the Chateau doesn't usually serve food other than a light breakfast the owners were kind enough to offer to cook us dinner. It was one of the finest dinners I have had in Europe so far! Appetizers, salad, dinner, desert, wine, coffee, all fresh and wonderful! Make sure you have 220 adapters, and a hairdryer though this was not there as indicated. Still a great stay and met great people! Wonderful view from 3rd floor of city! A little pricey. And could not read some reviews, they need to be able to be translated into different languages.
helpful staff, large rooms, quiet environment hard to find (even with GPS), poor breakfast
Decided to leave after one night due to poor comfort. Noise keeping one of party awake late. No towels in one room. Booked for 3 nights. Told couldn't refund but had to write a letter asking for refund for 2 nights.
Staff was great. I also enjoy the quietness and price. Rooms are a bit short of room, but for that price I would go again.
Very cheap You get what you pay for !!
Dirty towels smell of smoke
It was easy to find It was very basic
Easy to reach, clean and good value per money. Brakefast was very good. There was a problem with loud guests on other rooms, but the bottom line that it is a good place for a night stay when you travel.
Price was very reasonable, however would not recommend for longer than 4 nights. No Towels in the room one night, however, you only pay for what you get.
Standard of accomadtion poor, was like prison cell, smell in room and when ran the water tap smell came through the plug hole in sink. Bathroom facilities pathetic.
My family travelled to this hotel recently as an overnight stay close to Asterix, the place was quite hard to find as the co-ordinates we were given were not accurate, but not too bad a location. The two rooms we stayed in were not carpeted and had the bare minimum in them but were adequate for a 1nite stop over, comparable to a hostel. The bedding was soiled in both rooms and the noise from the toilet waste kept my sister awake all night with it making a short flush sound every 5mins. In the morning we complained and the Managment were very helpful and agreed that the rooms were not up to their standard and offered free breakfast....I think there is just an issue with the cleaning staff, and dont think this is a regular occurence.
Closed car parking on site. Restaurant close by at the Campanile hotel opposite. Very basic room in need of renovation.
staff are always friendly
flexibility of staff and the breakfast value for money it felt isolated
every thing was ok staff very helpful
The staff were always willing to help and answer any questions we had. The breakfast although basic was typically french and more than enough The rooms although basic served as a base to explore from, they were clean and basic. The bathrooms do need a little TLC on the decor front but dont let this put you off as the stay was still very pleasant. The hotel is very close to Paris and the town of Chantilly - So if you are looking for something that is cheap and cheerful as a base to explore this hotel will just do fine.
The location of the hotel suited my purpose for travelling from UK and for visiting exhibition sites.
Would use this hotel again just refurbished and good value None
we have stayed here many times it is very handy for what we want
Clean and quiet room, Close to the airport and to main routes. Staff very friendly and quick acting during check out Breakfast too expensive
the room were very cold i had to go down 3 times in the reception to get a room properly heat it
Clean hotel and rooms. Waiter for evening meal was pleasent, we were the only guests to eat in the hotel. Heating in rooms inadequate and room was freezing. Hotel receptionist not helpful when we tried to book a taxi to airport, she did not know local train or bus times or prices etc. No staff available at breakfast so we just helped ourselves and paid for it on checkout. Menu in hotel Restaurant very poor. Overall the hotel was very poor value.
Good rooms overpriced restaurant food approx 70 Euros for 2 people for basic food and drinks
Good parking, easy access, comfy well-designed air-con room, and good food.
sheets were not too clean, quite old hotel. Shuttle service does not belong to the hotel ! You need to buy a ticket (4 eur) and from the airport it takes 40 minutes !!!!! Difficult to find a taxi in case you arrive say at 11 PM at the Beuavais airport..
cleanliness , courtesy of all the staff , restaurant that was open untill 10pm , proximity to AGCO factory . everything was just 1st class .
Food was good for a hotel of this type. proximity to airport.
location near client
Friendly and polite staff A suggestion for breakfast that customers be shown where all the food options are. We completely missed the refrigerated section as it was set away from the main area!
location, food They gave us a twin not a double - no champagne on arrival.
Loverly setting good restaurant and swimming pool. 5pm check in not too good considering check out is 12 noon.
lendroit et le batiment le tapis plein,la peinture de la chambre ainsi que sa grandeur.pas d'endroit pour déposer la valise
Beautiful Chateau in charming Chantilly area! Extra special with the golden leaves of autumn! You must look around their grounds. Whilst superb quality, the restaurant was pricey...
The front desk staff was impeccable. The bar staff lacked personality and the menu left much to be desired. The room was disappointing as there was no character associated with the rest of the hotel.
A grand chateau hotel with good facilities in an excellent location. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which also helped us enjoy our stay. The service in the dining room did not match that of the rest of the hotel or the standard of the food it served, which deserved better.
the bed rooms we did not see a lounge only the bar
The staff was vary friendly and helpful. It would be helpful if there was a check in possible by at least 1200. Most US tourists arrive at CDG very early in the AM.
Very nice location and setting. The main building is historically interesting. The staff were friendly, and the room (in the main building)was large and comfortable, with the exception of some rather strange designer chairs. Nothing was quite as it seemed. The bar was luxuriously appointed, with a pleasant outdoor area, but service was intermittent - someone turned up every now and then to have a look. Bar prices are extremely high - would have been ok if the service had matched them. The (free) Wi-Fi wasn't working when we arrived, and it came as a surprise to the staff when it reappeared the next (Sunday) morning. There was a weird emphasis on security - a barrier at the main entrance when we returned to the hotel at about 9.30 pm, with one security man to take the car registration number, and another in the reception area. Perhaps a VIP was dining. For the room price, air-conditioning might have been expected, but was absent.
Despite being very busy with conferences, the staff and kitchen performed at a high standard. Cuisine is definitely worth a Michelin star - we had a first class menu with all dishes well prepared and presented - and the prices for fine wines are as reasonable as they may be in France. Lovely ground, quiet, and quite efficient staff. For us a far more pleasant alternative to fighting the traffic from Paris en route to an early flight from CDG. Staff generously upgraded us. It seems a bit understaffed; this feeling may relate to our late arrival in the afternoon.
Absolutely nothing! Worst hotel and hotel experience we have ever had in France.
nothing special The hotel is very far located from Chantilly and we found it very difficultly
convenient to reach, on the oustside of the city
way too small for anyone but a 10 year old child. shower was so small I could not bend over to soap my legs as a normal adult. overpriced for size. size and price
The man in charge was very helpful and welcoming
Some work needs doing to the shower screen
Clean and pleasant Thin walls. Disturbed a little by other residents talking late at night. Breakfasts indifferent. Would have liked the option of hot food.
Nothing,it was noisy and not clean. Also i had to killa lot of bugs.
Breakfast was very good. The location is easy to find. Chantilly is a great town. The staff were helpful and friendly. Ther rooms were fine. It could do with a bar. (We were there for the Rugby World Cup)
some good helpful staff no communication with you. we asked for a childs bed. we arrived at 11.00pm only to find the rooms were for one or two persons only.
The tennis facility is in bad shape and unusable
Staff were fluent in several languages and were freindly at both the reception and restaurant. Firstly, guests do not stay in the Chateau itself, but another building. The photo on booking.dot is therefore misleading.
Really nice environment.. Large park around, horses.. but need to know that you do need to have a car to stay in this hotel... No other option if you also want to enjoy Paris and its surroundings at the same time.
Beautiful setting, fuctional, excellent for children Forced to move hotel so a conference could take place (prices upped by 55 euro per night for incoming guests!). Staff showing no concern at evicting disabled visitors
The staff were brilliant, checking in and out, also in the restraunt. the room was cleaned well every day and the air conditioning was good. plenty of parking space, and many villages a short drive away and Paris was within easy reach. Stayed five nights and found plenty to do each day. The fact that the TV had only French channels.
The serene and perfect location and relaxing athomsphere
This is a great hotel with a great staff. We found the service to be outstanding, and the staff very helpful. The room was large, clean and had many amenities. It is a great base for Paris. We will stay here again.
nice bathroom :)
nice staff Wireless internet wasn't working during whole stay, annoying for a business traveller.
The rooms are good with bath and shower,tv,tea & coffee The restaurant staff was rushed and the service was slow as if short of staff
The reception was very correct as also in general the room facilities were ok. The remote for the TV was not working.
too small room for three people
The best thing about the hotel was the comfort of the bed. Quite the most comfortable I slept in on a journey around France. The directions given when we booked the hotel said that we should leave the autoroute at the exit maked Beauvais Nord. There is no such exit and we has passed B sud and B centre and had to motor on to the next exit about 15k further and then come back. To make matters worse we were caught in a traffic jam on the autoroute. The exit should be beauvais centre.
As we had all cycled over 70 miles to get there the ample fresh food for breakfast and evening meal was most welcome
Welcome was a little cool, though not unfriendly. Room very comfortable and with tea/coffee making facility - a big plus for hotels in France! Wide choice of foodstuffs for breakfast and morning staff were friendlier for checkout. Difficult to find - The entrance is tucked away in a commercial complex and is poorly signed. Some extra signing or a clearer map would be appreciated.
We enjoyed the staff service, the rooms were clean and confortable and had heating, there was also internet. We also had a kettle to make tea or coffee and packets of biscuits. We only stayed for one night because we were going to Paris. The location isn't brilliant but there is a supermarque nearby and regular buses to Beauvais.
Accessible, restuarant great, easy access to rooms. Inexpensive. Room smelt of smoke covered by air freshener, beer and wine were very expensive.
Food in bar not hot enough. Menu a bit narrow and exotic.
Not too far from CDG and better than the chain hotels at this airport.
The hotel staff was extremely friendly and cooperative NA
staff and ambience
Setting and building were beautiful, staff very courteous, proximity to airport without airport prices, room was very nice and clean, beds comfortable. We can find nothing poor to say about the building, staff and setting. The meal, although tasty and with a nice presentation was a little sparse and the wine portions a little light. The second glass of wine was particularly light and was poured at the table by the waiter into the same glass rather than brought in a fresh glass from the bar.
Hotel staff were very friendly although not all of them in the restaurant/bar spoke English which made things a bit more difficult
Secure, quiet and well maintained hotel that is ver convienent to Charles DeGaulle Airport in Paris. I am sorry that I did not plan for more time to spend at the location. Absolutely no complaints.
entironment is very good, room is clean. Silence. Breakfast is more better than the other hotel. No
Convenient to C.D.g airport but much classier than the usual airport hotels. Currently there are renovations taking place but they did not detract from the luxurious accomodation and although my evening meal was quite expensive it was worth every cent.
staff of the hotel is very good, otherwise how much money, this much music very small and dark rooms
I realy enjoied staing at your hotel. The receptionist girl was realy helpfull and kind. (I had something to print and this saved me some money). Room was clean, well heated. I had a room with 3 bads, I can realy recomand that for a family with kids. Kids will enjoy it. I was missing the cupboard for clothes.
it was very easy to get onto the airport shuttle, just a 2 minute walk
Excellent value for the money. We needed a place to stay near the airport. Buffalo Grill and McDonalds are within walking distance. No problem with the reservation on line and acquiring the room keys from the dispenser after hours. Compact rooms (like on a cruise ship) but perfectly adequate for one night. Good breakfast selection.
i liked the guy at the reception,he was very friendly and efficient,i also like that the bus station for the airport was very near i didn't like that we couldn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel, the bed was to small for 2 people but overall this hotel it was a good choice!
Very small room and toilet
the two rooms we booked were on different levels and different sides of the hotel.
breakfast although I requested a non smoking room, I was given a smoking room with a strong cigarette smell
It was very inexpensive it was bit loud, and not really in the middle of Beauvais
I would describe the Premiere Classe more of a "motel" than a hotel. Having said that, it was clean and suited our purposes for an overnight stopover on the way to Disney. My 9 year old daughter loved her bunk bed! For the price, we couldn't really complain about anything.
close to BVA airport, about 20mins wark. Room is clean, Hotel is ok for one night stop. Not easy to find the hotel if you arrival SNCF station in the town, take a taxi costs eur30.
the staff were the most helpful that you could wish for no
We came just when the hotel was closing for the night and met the hotel employee as she was leaving. She was very helpful and went back in and showed us to our room. The room was simple but very clean, quiet and comfortable. We have no complaints
The location to Beauvais-Tille Airport and the bus stop location near the hotel is great.
Close to the Paris-Beauvais airport No possibility to have breakfast early morning.
Easy to find and that there was a restaurant adjacent room was a bit small
It is handy located, close to the airport. We had 2 rooms and both were rather clean. Good price Very very very basic. No tea/coffe facility. Reception closed after 11 pm. The receptionst was unable (not rude bot 'not bothered much') to order taxi for us and we had to walk to the airport (about 30 minutes)
Within 25 minutes to the airport. Clean.
Easy to reach with bus. The room was humid and cigarettes smokey.
Very close to the airport Small room and would be better if the staff try to speak more english to non french speaking guests
Attentive staff, small but decent room. Good breakfast (extra cost). A bit far from the airport and the shuttle bus takes 40 minutes to get there at night and then only runs early in the morning. We had to take a cab for 15 euro to get to the airport later that morning. Rooms not as soundproof as they advertise.
Staff was very helpful, room was a large, lots of room t move around
Restaurant food was much better than the last Campanile I stayed at - a very pleasant surprise. This however does not justify the increased rates for "New Generation" Campaniles - all the other changes should be part of the normal maintenance of the facilities. Although it was a "Next Generation" Campanile it looked rather run down from the outside. Paint was peeling off the outside stairways and walkways, the fan on the kitchens was very noisy (needed urgent maintenance to stop disturbing guests) & even the large Campanile logo was crooked! The room was fine (if you .like green) except for a confusing switch for the bathroom heater and a few loose fittings (e.g coathooks and shower head rail).
value for money
Courtesy and quietness Room light bulbs U/S on arrival but quickly replaced on request.
Nothing special. Was a very short overnight stay. For this kind of hotel it was surprising there was a waterboiler set in the room for making coffee/tea. The heating was shut down (or broken?) in the morning.
very convenient for Chantilly town and out of town shopping centre the room was a bit on the small side relative to what it costs
The hotel rooms were very modern and clean. staff were very helpfull
Freshly laundered linen, warm room. Very clean and good power shower with hot water. Secure parking. Functional room. I was happy to pay in cash but no receipt was offered nor given . Since this was our first stay at this hotel chain I was unaware if this was normal. I was a little uneasy but we enjoyed the stay and thought it was good value for money.
Out of the way in nice setting but easy to get to from Aix. Very helpful staff. Very nice "resort like" athmosphere.
wacky room, alternative food options, free parking. Free internet actually everywhere, not just in public areas (too many hotels claim "WIFI everywhere" when it is not the case) my stay coincided with a sales reps' training meeting - nice for the hotel I realise but irritating to be surrounded by smell of cheap after-shave
Good standard as always. None
Friendly staff, clean throughout and ample parking available Room was a little warm shower room a bite small and the shower water feeds were plumbed in resulting in the hot being the cold and the cold being the hot - so not bad really
Neat the airport,cathedral.
The breakfast was quite good. The guy at the front desk was quite arrogant and unfriendly, not to say rude. The bathroom is very tiny, the sink did not fit in the bathroom and is in the room.
No hair dryer in room or to borrow from reception.
I have booked this hotel for my family who stayed in Beauvais for one night. Upon arrival they were told that they have to pay, in spite of the fact that they did have the booking reservation with them. I was sad to to hear that the receptionist refused to even bother looking on their PC. It is advertised as being close to Beauvais Airport, but it is not.
hotel near the airport, provides transport in the required time for us
the guy didnt let me have my key I felt like a prisioner at a hotel. . .
We liked the location of the hotel: it was a central location, however in a quiet and nice street. We also liked the attitude of the hotel staff: they were very helpful and were very polite. The size of the hotel room was a bit small in terms of all furniture and fixtures installed, which, in turn, left almost no room even to enter the room itself. But we consider it is the case with most of the buildings with central location in Paris, so it was OK for us.
Car Park. Had to wait one hour to check in, although reception supposed to be open. When given keys to rooms, found rooms not ready and still as left by previous occupants. Refurbishment of hotel left reception and corridors in a very dishevelled and dirty state, which was not advised at booking stage.
Paid before seeing the room and then found TV not working. When I complained they already knew so they could have informed me when we checked in. They could not provide an alternative room or replace the TV. Shower leaked onto floor in shower room. Only one soap and one shampoo sachet.
Hard to find even with sat nav.
Hotel staff very nice, we felt totally relaxed. Bar is very small, but maybe that is because we are Irish. Ha Ha
Staff unfriendly and lack of general hygiene at the hotel
Arrived late at night but this was no problem
Good location & easy to find. Plenty of car parking available and free WiFi which we used for onward bookings and tourist attractions on our holiday.
The hotel staff were very pleasant Yes, it was too far out of town and very far to walk to from the town. Taxis were impossible to get. There was supposed to be a shuttle bus to and from the airport but it did not materialise.
there was hot water. This was the smallest room I've stayed in. We booked a double room but were given a twin room. If you wanted to sit on the chair at the desk you had to move the beds.I think we woke the whole hotel every time we opened the bathroom door - noisy!
The location is very quiet, overlooking the nine-hole executive course, in a forested area. There was no airconditioning in the entire building, nor any fans available, so it was uncomfortable during the two hot days I was there. Also, the restaurant is completely on the other side of the property from the hotel, leaving only a small, and not very good, breakfast available in the actual hotel.
I would like to mention and congratulate Alexandra for her extremely helpful and charming presence.
Location to airport. n/a
Staff were friendly, though not english-speaking. Reception was open 24 hours. Free (& reasonably fast) wifi throughout the hotel. Location was on the golf course, but not right at the golf club or near the restaurant. Condition of the hotel itself was ok to poor, therefore hard to recommend. Probably was a nice hotel 10 years ago, but the rooms need renovation to bring them back up to standard.
very helpfull staff very basic facilities, rooms needed updated and not as clean as they should be
comfortable room, peaceful location not very helpful staff, location is very distant from shops bars, restaurants, hotel taxi is too expensive and shuttle is not available when needed.restaurant in the hotel is very expensive and not very nice and it closes at 9pm;no room service was available, altogether a bad experience in a nicely presented hotel
Stayed for 2 nights and everything was fine at the hotel - location supurb The pedestrian walkway to the restaurant was only partially illuminated (not working) especially the tunnel - quite frightening at 10pm ay night when walking back to the hotel.
