The hotel is rather shabby in its interior decor, it needs a make over.
Price was very important as we were using the hotel as an overnight stop off prior to flying out the next day. Breakfast was substantial and great value ...well done. Hallways were a bit dark but that's it.
Breakfast and Dinner both were excellent
small friendly hotel not having a lift as we had a lot of luggage
Price, parking and close to Beauvais Airport ( car is necessary) Wifi was terrible. I went to the front desk to ask is there was anything that could be done to improve on the signal, and I was told that it might improve after 10 PM. This, unfortunately, was not the case. This was one of the worst Internet connections I've experienced anywhere, and I travel a ton.
friendly help full staff noisy fan in room even when switched off. very basic room and dated from the 80's - sweets on pillows??? also said it was 5 minute walk drom station, reason for booking, wasn't and had to find a taxi.
it was really near to the airport which is why we chose it. the breakfast that was available. a cooked breakfast would've been good.
The room was clean, quiet and comfortable - great value for money. The fact that the family room was on the top floor and there was no lift meant numerous trips up and down with luggage.
We had a problem with our room, we where moved to a better room straight away. The staff on reception couldn't speak English so had a job asking question about food.
breakfast and dinners were excellent
The lady at reception and very helpful and friendly. Limited menu for dinner as out of beef, dirty bedroom and ensuite
Easy to find and that there was a restaurant adjacent room was a bit small
Easy to reach with bus. The room was humid and cigarettes smokey.
The location to Beauvais-Tille Airport and the bus stop location near the hotel is great.
Within 25 minutes to the airport. Clean.
the staff were the most helpful that you could wish for no
close to BVA airport, about 20mins wark. Room is clean, Hotel is ok for one night stop. Not easy to find the hotel if you arrival SNCF station in the town, take a taxi costs eur30.
It is handy located, close to the airport. We had 2 rooms and both were rather clean. Good price Very very very basic. No tea/coffe facility. Reception closed after 11 pm. The receptionst was unable (not rude bot 'not bothered much') to order taxi for us and we had to walk to the airport (about 30 minutes)
Very close to the airport Small room and would be better if the staff try to speak more english to non french speaking guests
Close to the Paris-Beauvais airport No possibility to have breakfast early morning.
We came just when the hotel was closing for the night and met the hotel employee as she was leaving. She was very helpful and went back in and showed us to our room. The room was simple but very clean, quiet and comfortable. We have no complaints
entironment is very good, room is clean. Silence. Breakfast is more better than the other hotel. No
The hotel staff was extremely friendly and cooperative NA
Setting and building were beautiful, staff very courteous, proximity to airport without airport prices, room was very nice and clean, beds comfortable. We can find nothing poor to say about the building, staff and setting. The meal, although tasty and with a nice presentation was a little sparse and the wine portions a little light. The second glass of wine was particularly light and was poured at the table by the waiter into the same glass rather than brought in a fresh glass from the bar.
staff and ambience
Not too far from CDG and better than the chain hotels at this airport.
Food in bar not hot enough. Menu a bit narrow and exotic.
Secure, quiet and well maintained hotel that is ver convienent to Charles DeGaulle Airport in Paris. I am sorry that I did not plan for more time to spend at the location. Absolutely no complaints.
Convenient to C.D.g airport but much classier than the usual airport hotels. Currently there are renovations taking place but they did not detract from the luxurious accomodation and although my evening meal was quite expensive it was worth every cent.
Hotel staff were very friendly although not all of them in the restaurant/bar spoke English which made things a bit more difficult
Very friendly and efficient without being obtrusive Very annoying being woken up by greenkeeper at 6 am outside window mowing golf course with noisy machine. Too early to wake guests in my opinion. He should do far side of course away from hotel first. I would recommend hotel but would warn people about noisy golf course maintenance
great rooms, very clean, so quiet.good breakfast Big Hotel
Good plain accommodation, with everything there that you need. Not luxurious but then the price was reasonable. The food was not good. We didnt try the exspensive restaurant as the food at the buffet wasnt great.
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was functional Institutional feel, noisy air handling equipment and no access to local town.
The breakfast was overpriced and cold
A marvellous location, excellent comfort and services, reasonable rate, nice wellness center, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.
Hotel very clean, but too large.
Very good restaurant Services e.g. spa, golf, were 'add-on i.e. hotel did not offer a package service
We went to Dolce Chantilly to get away and have a break, to relax and unwind. Exactly what we achieved. When we previously stayed at the hotel they had a buffet dinner on in L'Etoile Restaurant whichwe would have liked to have seen on again.
The overall looks and environment of the hotel The very expensive breakfast
The service and the variety of activities available.
Excellent public rooms, customer care and restaurant service Dated room (I know it's an historic building but the facilities could be freshened up)
pleasant helpful room cleaners (poor front desk and maitres d') .good swimming pool compared to many others in similar sized hotels . Good breakfast Absolutely awful design of 'modern' hotel attached to small chateau.Horrid mismatched souless interior fit out. Bare walls in bedroom-( no pictures/photographs)Carpet pattern and bedroom layout reminded me of a correctional institution. All floors looked the same so easy to get mixed up as to what floor you are on.Souless restaurant . Was unable to eat in restaurant on one of the 2 nights of our stay as Maitre D' and front reception staff said they were booked out although dining room only had about 2/3 of the tables set for dinner. Potential guests should be made aware that they may not be able to eat dinner in dinning room in spite of the fact they are staying in the hotel! No really easy alternative for having dinner close to the hotel
Hotel clean staff very helpfull and friendly rooms large and comfortable good food tea and coffee expensive So very disapointed to find it was a modern hotel and not a chateau we were staying in.expected to be in a chateau not in the grounds of a chateau
The breakfasts and the spa area. Jogging and walking in the beauitful grounds was great. Also free to use tennis courts
Good location, quite athmosphere, polite staff Seemd it was little cold in the room, the corridor should be renewed
Wonderful hotel within lovely grounds. Excellent restaurant. Very helpful staff.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds were large and the gym was well equipped. The breakfast was good. Our experience in the restaurant was dismal. The manager was very rude and abrupt. We wanted to walk out but were starving and the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. When the food arrived ( we ordered 3 courses) it was not good at all. We were so disappointed. .
We stayed in one of the corner rooms, which was lovely and bright and tastefully decorated. Our 9-year old daughter was with us, and there was no problem getting an additional bed in the room. We arrived fairly late and ordered room service. This was probably one of the best burgers that i have ever had, and excellent value for money. Breakfast was delicious as well, and the service very friendly. We loved the grounds and the beautiful swimming pool. Unfortunately it wasn't warm enough for us to have breakfast outside, but this would have been lovely. We will definitely come back when we travel again to France. The restaurant and bar area lacked atmosphere. I also thought that more could be done to make the stay more family-friendly, with for example a play area outside. As it is this hotel is very much a luxury business hotel. It does not really cater to families or to romantic getaways. Having said that, we really enjoyed our stay.
The serene and perfect location and relaxing athomsphere
Staff were fluent in several languages and were freindly at both the reception and restaurant. Firstly, guests do not stay in the Chateau itself, but another building. The photo on booking.dot is therefore misleading.
The tennis facility is in bad shape and unusable
Really nice environment.. Large park around, horses.. but need to know that you do need to have a car to stay in this hotel... No other option if you also want to enjoy Paris and its surroundings at the same time.
This is a great hotel with a great staff. We found the service to be outstanding, and the staff very helpful. The room was large, clean and had many amenities. It is a great base for Paris. We will stay here again.
Beautiful setting, fuctional, excellent for children Forced to move hotel so a conference could take place (prices upped by 55 euro per night for incoming guests!). Staff showing no concern at evicting disabled visitors
The staff were brilliant, checking in and out, also in the restraunt. the room was cleaned well every day and the air conditioning was good. plenty of parking space, and many villages a short drive away and Paris was within easy reach. Stayed five nights and found plenty to do each day. The fact that the TV had only French channels.
Staff was very helpful, room was a large, lots of room t move around
Attentive staff, small but decent room. Good breakfast (extra cost). A bit far from the airport and the shuttle bus takes 40 minutes to get there at night and then only runs early in the morning. We had to take a cab for 15 euro to get to the airport later that morning. Rooms not as soundproof as they advertise.
The hotel was very handy for Parc Asterix and in the middle of Chantilly, near restaurants and the Chateux
Receptionist was friendly and helpful The decor looks and smells old, with badly lit corridors which are unpleasant. The TV was a portable, about 10 years old, with poor reception - strange, considering the 3 satellite dishes outside the window :-((
Efficient and well-run. Was happy to re-book for a return overnight stop.
Large, clean, well appointed rooms No bar
The location was good, very comfortable room, quick lift, interesting reception area, light and airy breakfast room. Nice, soft water in bathroom. We stayed in August when many staff possibly on holiday. But the gardens looked neglected. Flowers and lawns in the town much better looked after. One out of three lights in the bedroom did not work. We expected housekeeping to put right - but not done. Towels rather thin - not worn out but just of poor quality. Soap could easily be better. Almost too small to get hold of and no perfume at all. A sign (small card in the bathroom) to say 'unperfumed soap available from reception' would enable the majority of us to have a small, hotel-size tablet of Roger and Gallet soap or Bronnley ( who make soap for Harrods I think, from Brackley, UK) and enjoy using.Breakfast was all right but uninteresting..Hotel's Indian restaurant was not good at all!
the location of this hotel is good easy access to all of chantilly chateaux race course restaurants bars museum breakfast too pricey shower curtain was missing in one of our rooms asked for one but it did not arrive
quick check-in, friendly front-desk at 9:30 already no croissants / toast. breakfast not good value for money.
It was within walking distance of Chanitlly racecourse Tried to call reception but no one ever answered the phone!
no breakfast included in the rate of the room
very good location near to town centre and chateau, close to station and only 25mins from Paris Gare du Nord etc. Fine hotel, but I don't think you should have to pay for out-door car-parking at back of the hotel, especially at weekends.
lendroit et le batiment le tapis plein,la peinture de la chambre ainsi que sa grandeur.pas d'endroit pour déposer la valise
location, food They gave us a twin not a double - no champagne on arrival.
Very nice location and setting. The main building is historically interesting. The staff were friendly, and the room (in the main building)was large and comfortable, with the exception of some rather strange designer chairs. Nothing was quite as it seemed. The bar was luxuriously appointed, with a pleasant outdoor area, but service was intermittent - someone turned up every now and then to have a look. Bar prices are extremely high - would have been ok if the service had matched them. The (free) Wi-Fi wasn't working when we arrived, and it came as a surprise to the staff when it reappeared the next (Sunday) morning. There was a weird emphasis on security - a barrier at the main entrance when we returned to the hotel at about 9.30 pm, with one security man to take the car registration number, and another in the reception area. Perhaps a VIP was dining. For the room price, air-conditioning might have been expected, but was absent.
Despite being very busy with conferences, the staff and kitchen performed at a high standard. Cuisine is definitely worth a Michelin star - we had a first class menu with all dishes well prepared and presented - and the prices for fine wines are as reasonable as they may be in France. Lovely ground, quiet, and quite efficient staff. For us a far more pleasant alternative to fighting the traffic from Paris en route to an early flight from CDG. Staff generously upgraded us. It seems a bit understaffed; this feeling may relate to our late arrival in the afternoon.
the bed rooms we did not see a lounge only the bar
Loverly setting good restaurant and swimming pool. 5pm check in not too good considering check out is 12 noon.
Beautiful Chateau in charming Chantilly area! Extra special with the golden leaves of autumn! You must look around their grounds. Whilst superb quality, the restaurant was pricey...
The front desk staff was impeccable. The bar staff lacked personality and the menu left much to be desired. The room was disappointing as there was no character associated with the rest of the hotel.
The staff was vary friendly and helpful. It would be helpful if there was a check in possible by at least 1200. Most US tourists arrive at CDG very early in the AM.
A grand chateau hotel with good facilities in an excellent location. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which also helped us enjoy our stay. The service in the dining room did not match that of the rest of the hotel or the standard of the food it served, which deserved better.
The hotel staff were very pleasant Yes, it was too far out of town and very far to walk to from the town. Taxis were impossible to get. There was supposed to be a shuttle bus to and from the airport but it did not materialise.
Arrived late at night but this was no problem
Paid before seeing the room and then found TV not working. When I complained they already knew so they could have informed me when we checked in. They could not provide an alternative room or replace the TV. Shower leaked onto floor in shower room. Only one soap and one shampoo sachet.
Staff unfriendly and lack of general hygiene at the hotel
Car Park. Had to wait one hour to check in, although reception supposed to be open. When given keys to rooms, found rooms not ready and still as left by previous occupants. Refurbishment of hotel left reception and corridors in a very dishevelled and dirty state, which was not advised at booking stage.
Hotel staff very nice, we felt totally relaxed. Bar is very small, but maybe that is because we are Irish. Ha Ha
Hard to find even with sat nav.
Good location & easy to find. Plenty of car parking available and free WiFi which we used for onward bookings and tourist attractions on our holiday.
there was hot water. This was the smallest room I've stayed in. We booked a double room but were given a twin room. If you wanted to sit on the chair at the desk you had to move the beds.I think we woke the whole hotel every time we opened the bathroom door - noisy!
Excellent room, very friendly and helpful staff Requested car parking, but was not available at hotel. Luckily, it was Sunday, and free parking opposite.
location a little shabby
The location with easy acces to train and airport shuttle. Comfortable room that was big enough for our family of six. Friendly staff.
This hotel staff was very helpfull. this hotel was not a 3 star by any standards, the room was not clean and the bathroom was dirty. I would urge anyone who's thinking of booking it to please reconsider and choose another one. Also was not good value for what you get.
Good big bed No
well the location was not to bad only across the road from the train station and not to far from cinema . well i didn't like this hotel as we paid 129euro for a room and the rooms and corridors could do with a revamp 10 years ago so glad i was only staying one night .
Hotel Chenal offered a nice stay with pleasant staff and good services, comfortable room etc. There was a carpet on the floor, which is not recommended because it's hard to clean it perfectly, so many people do & will have allergic reactions! Besides that, wake-up call service didn't work.
nice staff Bad standard. Far below expectations
Walking distance to restaurants , shopping and train station Poor wifi, bathroom and hotel hallway lights needed to be turned on manually
the breakfast was pretty good The room was very poor, old fashioned and in need of major refurb. I would not use this hotel again.
The buffet breakfast was very poor
value for money
Restaurant food was much better than the last Campanile I stayed at - a very pleasant surprise. This however does not justify the increased rates for "New Generation" Campaniles - all the other changes should be part of the normal maintenance of the facilities. Although it was a "Next Generation" Campanile it looked rather run down from the outside. Paint was peeling off the outside stairways and walkways, the fan on the kitchens was very noisy (needed urgent maintenance to stop disturbing guests) & even the large Campanile logo was crooked! The room was fine (if you .like green) except for a confusing switch for the bathroom heater and a few loose fittings (e.g coathooks and shower head rail).
Freshly laundered linen, warm room. Very clean and good power shower with hot water. Secure parking. Functional room. I was happy to pay in cash but no receipt was offered nor given . Since this was our first stay at this hotel chain I was unaware if this was normal. I was a little uneasy but we enjoyed the stay and thought it was good value for money.
Good standard as always. None
very convenient for Chantilly town and out of town shopping centre the room was a bit on the small side relative to what it costs
Courtesy and quietness Room light bulbs U/S on arrival but quickly replaced on request.
The hotel rooms were very modern and clean. staff were very helpfull
Out of the way in nice setting but easy to get to from Aix. Very helpful staff. Very nice "resort like" athmosphere.
wacky room, alternative food options, free parking. Free internet actually everywhere, not just in public areas (too many hotels claim "WIFI everywhere" when it is not the case) my stay coincided with a sales reps' training meeting - nice for the hotel I realise but irritating to be surrounded by smell of cheap after-shave
Nothing special. Was a very short overnight stay. For this kind of hotel it was surprising there was a waterboiler set in the room for making coffee/tea. The heating was shut down (or broken?) in the morning.
Accessible, restuarant great, easy access to rooms. Inexpensive. Room smelt of smoke covered by air freshener, beer and wine were very expensive.
too small room for three people
As we had all cycled over 70 miles to get there the ample fresh food for breakfast and evening meal was most welcome
Welcome was a little cool, though not unfriendly. Room very comfortable and with tea/coffee making facility - a big plus for hotels in France! Wide choice of foodstuffs for breakfast and morning staff were friendlier for checkout. Difficult to find - The entrance is tucked away in a commercial complex and is poorly signed. Some extra signing or a clearer map would be appreciated.
nice staff Wireless internet wasn't working during whole stay, annoying for a business traveller.
nice bathroom :)
We enjoyed the staff service, the rooms were clean and confortable and had heating, there was also internet. We also had a kettle to make tea or coffee and packets of biscuits. We only stayed for one night because we were going to Paris. The location isn't brilliant but there is a supermarque nearby and regular buses to Beauvais.
The reception was very correct as also in general the room facilities were ok. The remote for the TV was not working.
The best thing about the hotel was the comfort of the bed. Quite the most comfortable I slept in on a journey around France. The directions given when we booked the hotel said that we should leave the autoroute at the exit maked Beauvais Nord. There is no such exit and we has passed B sud and B centre and had to motor on to the next exit about 15k further and then come back. To make matters worse we were caught in a traffic jam on the autoroute. The exit should be beauvais centre.
The rooms are good with bath and shower,tv,tea & coffee The restaurant staff was rushed and the service was slow as if short of staff
It was very inexpensive it was bit loud, and not really in the middle of Beauvais
it was very easy to get onto the airport shuttle, just a 2 minute walk
I would describe the Premiere Classe more of a "motel" than a hotel. Having said that, it was clean and suited our purposes for an overnight stopover on the way to Disney. My 9 year old daughter loved her bunk bed! For the price, we couldn't really complain about anything.
I realy enjoied staing at your hotel. The receptionist girl was realy helpfull and kind. (I had something to print and this saved me some money). Room was clean, well heated. I had a room with 3 bads, I can realy recomand that for a family with kids. Kids will enjoy it. I was missing the cupboard for clothes.
Very small room and toilet
breakfast although I requested a non smoking room, I was given a smoking room with a strong cigarette smell
the two rooms we booked were on different levels and different sides of the hotel.
Excellent value for the money. We needed a place to stay near the airport. Buffalo Grill and McDonalds are within walking distance. No problem with the reservation on line and acquiring the room keys from the dispenser after hours. Compact rooms (like on a cruise ship) but perfectly adequate for one night. Good breakfast selection.
i liked the guy at the reception,he was very friendly and efficient,i also like that the bus station for the airport was very near i didn't like that we couldn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel, the bed was to small for 2 people but overall this hotel it was a good choice!
staff of the hotel is very good, otherwise how much money, this much music very small and dark rooms
very peaceful and very good breakfast
Peaceful location, car needed, easy access to main road system for visits in the area. Rooms in Annex are good with french doors, plenty of air when hot and tiny balcony, very clean, no hospitality tray. Good pool area outside, small park for walks, restaurant closed during our stay for wedding, breakfast averge.Staff very helpful with good English.Overall good value for money, very enjoyable stay Lack of hospitality tray in the room.
Setting was beautiful and staff were extremely helpful.
The tranquil setting of the hotel and lovely gardens. It was an ideal spot to base ourselves to visit Chantilly and Senlis. Excellent food in the restaurant.
Nice quiet location, large pleasant rooms Standard of breakfast for the price was not very good - not a lot of choice eg of cheese and only charcuterie was halal.
package / special deal and the overall level of comfort ( Bar / Newspapers / pool table / Large screen TV ) Very helpful staff in all depts. No kettle / tea making facilities in bedroom
Beautiful grounds, swimming pool, very clean room, excellent breakfast within a large timespan so you don't feel rushed. Kids in the pool could be loud! Restaurant was shut due to a wedding party being there but there were others a short drive away.
A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Great food in the restaurant.
The food was very good if a little pricey. Wine very expensive. The room was in need of a makeover as was the bathroom. There was no mirror in the bedroom at all!
The staff were very welcoming, and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The free wifi throughout the hotel was a definite plus, too
