Nice apartment, nice common rooftop areas - perfect place for an apéro.
As it is in the center of town, it was quite noisy at night - not from cars, but from drunk people down in the street.

It was nice to have so much space, including a bIg dining table. In terms of museums, combined tickets are available that save you money. We went to the slave museum, less than a minutes' walk from the Salty Lodge, and the fort, about a three-minute walk. From the fort, we explored the beautiful beaches surrounded by cliffs. If you have kids, or even if you don't, mini golf is loads of fun. The place is called Pro Putting Garden and it's an easy walk from the Salty Lodge.

Very comfortable apartment with a view of the ocean (at least from room 4A). The hotel is centrally located. The shower was super warm and relaxing.
We really liked almost everything in the apartment. The only two (admittedly very minor) things that could have been improved was 1) the comfort of the sofa in the living room, and 2) the downstairs restaurant never seemed to be open when we tried to go there... but that may have nothing to do with The Salty Lodge itself.
