Location and ambiance. Neat setting in a walled city.
Junior Suite rooms much better than standard. Gorgeous decor and gorgeous location in town. Rooms are excellently prepared and cleaned and reception staff are friendly. Parking arrangements may not be to some tastes but I actually enjoyed the adventure!!!
Very disappointing experience, we choosed more expensive room – they call it COMFORT. But we got small room absolutelly not acceptable for 2 adult people, very uncomfortable, totally overpriced for this room
The location was superb and in an area where parking is a challenge the special parking facilities were welcome. The cuisine was good and the dining experience delightful. It was a really beatifulr location to visit. Staying in a castle one does not expect a huge luxury room and in this case the room was certainly quite small. But this did not detract from a high quality experience.
I especially liked the decor. I thought it blended in well with the city's medieval setting. Lack of staff.
Good location, just two minutes into Cordes. Quiet countrytside location. Good sized room, clean and well kept. Very helpful and pleasant staff.
You need to walk 15-20 minutes to get to Cordes from the hotel.
clean but lift access for luggage not shown to us. Also the drive could have been used on arrival to unload luggage. Carrying bags unecessarily
Friendly staff, large comfortable room, quiet countryside setting.
Quiet Rooms. Dont be mislead by the Chateau in the promo pictures. This is a purpose built accommodation, more motel than hotel. Indoor pool.
Very friendly and helpful staff/owners. Nice quiet setting but also very close to Cordes Sur Ciel. Noisy doors.
Romantic place, beautiful park, nice pool
The staff were very helpful. They offer decent breakfast with fresh baked bread and croissant. It was wonderful. Quite and relaxing area. The pool is a bit cold and small but it is bearable. Kids enjoyed a lot!
peaceful location - good base for exploring Tarn - good service - basic food - value for money for a family
We enjoyed the setting, the peacock, the restaurant, the welcome and tranquility. We stayed in a lovely bottom floor room, but without air-conditioning. It got very hot.
Very comfortable, with superb restaurant in spectacular area. There was a standard french hotel breakfast trolley which was unaccountably out of bounds, though we paid the full advertised price of €9.80.There were also some problems relating to two couples, in separate accommodation, being offered separate accounts rather than the one account for everything
Excellent location and restaurant, friendly staff
restaurant food and presentation outstanding, a real dining experience
The hotel provides excellent cuisine which was one of our main reasons for using it. It was also very convenient for our travel arrangements. We have stopped in Najac before and love the area. The hotel was as we expected it to be.
Najac is a pretty village and the hotel is situated in a great spot. The hotel advertises WIfi throughout the entire hotel. This is important to us when deciding to book with Booking.com. Not once in our entire stay could we get on the internet, even in the foyer and the staff were not interested.
Super location, at head of much-sought-after village. Pleasant room in hotel with plenty of character. Good value. Lovely area. Thought that for the English (Euro rates and all that) the breakfast was overpriced. Coffee and croisants would probably have been sufficient but cost the best part of 10 Euro. I guess we could have ordered just coffee and gone outside to the local boulanger fopr the rest??
Pleasant setting with lovely views. Convenient to the centrreof Najac and the Sunday market and with easy walk to the chateau. Recently renovated no smoking room with a particulary nice view over a garden and hills. Attentive staff. Our room was over the kitchen and service area so we were kept awake by the noise of the extractor and the clattering of the washing up coming from an open window directly below our room. The hotel restaurant was very expensive so we didn't eat there.
Friedly efficient staff and excellent food
The hotel is located in a very beautiful village and the views from some of the rooms are spectacular. It has private parking facilities together with a large public car park opposite. For a hotel which boasts an excellent chef, we were not impressed with the limited choice on the menus, and the quality of the meal provided. Also the 16 euro menu was unavailable on the Sunady night, therefore we had no option but to have the 25 euro menu which was indifferent. The same lack of choice applied on the Monday evening, so we did not eat there. We understand that other more expensive menus are available with demi pension but only if you stay more than 2 nights, (as far as we can tell).
Very nice relaxing stay, friendly staff, beautiful position, excellent food. I would stay here again.
