Location is very good and close to downtown Laguna Beach. about 20 minutes walking. Rooms are reasonably priced considering the area. Taking Taxi back to the hotel was about $7 from downtown. When I made coffee in the morning, the coffee maker was not clean and had coffee from previous guests. The AC unit doesn't have temperature control, so you have to go up if you are sleeping and turn it off if it gets too hot or cold. THe staff was friendly and informative It wasn't handicapped friendly, at 10.00pm the lobby would close down which had the only access to the elevator and not open up until 7:30am . Our daughter that came in after 10pm (which she was on crutches) had to climb two flights of stairs to the room. It was charming and the location was lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy. It's an old building with thin walls and we had noisy neighbors til all hours. It could've been a little cleaner, but it was more age than lack of cleaning. Great value for the price. We would stay here again.It was charming and the location was lovely. nothing The owner had us book for Oct 13 rather than Sept 13th and did not have any rooms available, she was indifferent to us sending to a hotel across the street but they only had space for one night at a different rate.
