The fact that you could walk to everything in Peddlers VillageThe breakfast was nice and the staff was extremely friendly It took 3 trys for my key to work in the doorThe toilet ranThe bed was so high it was hard to get in for a 5'2' woman
Quiet, beautiful setting. Parking next to room. Curtains and blinds needed minor repair
I liked the ambiance and the location of hotel. I did not like the fact that there were no elevators in our section of the rooms.
This was the best hotel bargain I've ever experienced. Room was spectacular, in clean like new condition. 2 large flat screen TV's-one in sitting area another in bedroom. Cozy country style furnishings, a semicanopy over a huge king size bed-1st class Rooms are spread out in several buildings and each has its own numbered parking spot. Map was confusing and it took some time to locate my room.
location no phone book in suite. Breakfast provided was marginal
1st room, we had a bad air conditioning unit. In the middle of the night, we had to turn off the unit, because of a strong electrical burning smell. We had to open windows and door to clear the air.
The location was good for Peddlers' Village and there were some discount coupons. Our room was up a flight of stairs and then down 3 more stairs when we got to the 2nd floor with no elevator so we had to drag our heavy luggage up and down ourselves.
Beautiful clean room and great location. The linens were cheap and stiff, like polyester; the mattress was lumpy and not of the quality expected for a hotel of this caliber. The breakfast was mediocre, with the only hot item dry and inedible.
Nothing - we gave this hotel a second chance and had a worse experience than the first time. The so-called 'renovated' rooms have old stained mattresses and dirty bed pads. There are limited elevators and no carts to carry your luggage. The hotel manager is a bully and will ignore your bringing the problems of the hotel to his attention.
Very friendly and cozy place. There is not her I didn't like.
Great B&B. Friendly owner; couldn't be more accommodating. Beautiful location, grounds and tasteful decor. Comfortable room with private bath (down the hall). Quiet place for a romantic getaway. Bonus! Alpacas out back. They are cute and friendly. Breakfast was just okay. One day we were served eggs and bacon, but no type of bread. The next day we had pancakes that were not very good. Plenty of berries with both meals. Nothing in the way of snacks, but hard/soft drinks were available.
beautiful, quiet country location. comfy, cozy beautiful rooms in the main house. love the dining area.
alpacas! I wish we could have stayed longer.
Our stay was lovely! It is a warm and cozy inn. The Alpacas and llamas are adorable. The room was quaint and tastefully decorated. It was an attic room with adjoining bathroom. The public spaces are gorgeous. We will definitely stay there again. We arrived at night. Check in was extremely easy. However..lighting outside was scarce. It is easy to trip and fall in the dark.
Has alpaca's super cool
Beautiful house and gardens, accessibility to the house and grounds, proximity to attractions. Uncomfortable hotel-like bed. In a B&B with these rates, you would expect something better.
