For what it's worth, this place does have an awesome view of the lake; I got really great pictures. And if you don't mind staying at your grandma's and don't plan on staying in the room for very long then this place is pretty good for the price. But if you're here and you don't have a boat to get away then maybe pitch in a little more for a better place.
It kind of reminded me of staying at my grandma's as far as the decor and cleanliness were concerned. It was obvious that it was recently cleaned but it looked like one of my brothers cleaned it in the sense that there were still quite a bit of cobwebs on the ceiling and walls. The bathtub was clogged with other people's hair and the toilet constantly ran all night and day. The A/C unit was also a bit tricky. They advise you to turn off the A/C when you leave for more than hour to conserve power which I completely understand and completely willing to comply. But when I went to turn the A/C unit back on, the power button wouldn't work. I couldn't even turn it on with the remote. I finally got it on after 15 minutes of pressing the button and now understand why the power button appears to be smashed in. Would I stay here again? Probably not. There doesn't appear to be too many choices out in Lakeport. You either pay an arm or a leg for an awesome room with a lake view or you pay little to nothing to get just that. But after staying here I think I'll put down an extra bit of money for a better place.
Would stay there again
