Cons: Breakfast could be better, but what do you expect at a hotel.
Pros: Very convenient location. Excellent staff. Very comfortable rooms.
Pros: Great "urban" location, although not, as described online, "nestled" near downtown Denver. Spacious rooms. Easy walking access to shops and restaurants. Not a bad drive to Denver or Golden (except during rush hour).
Some rooms have views of the foothills (and mountains on a clear day).
Cons: Parking is an issue. The Target next door claims most of the spaces.
Despite some of what is said in some of their marketing materials, not all rooms have "full size" appliances. What we had was adequate but not even "apartment" size.
Breakfast, while delicious, is crowded, tables are not quickly bussed and table seating is very limited. Trying to get children to eat neatly while sitting on couches is not fun. (Especially when they want French Toast with syrup.)
One drawback to the location is street noise, especially the rooftop and garden bars in the immediate area. Go with a high floor and, if you need to get to bed early, the "Target" side of the building.
Finally, we had a 2 AM fire alarm. Clearly not management's fault, but the lack of communication during and after was disappointing. During the alarm some people stood outside while others gathered in the lobby. No one from the hotel said a word to us. I would have expected an apology or explanation from the manager afterwards, but again, not a word.
Hyatt House Denver/Lakewood is nestled on the southwest side of downtown Denver near the vibrant Belmar area with ample shopping, dining and entertainment. Lakewood has one of the best views of the iconic Rocky Mountain foothills and the area is flush with art, culture, recreation and the soon to open Hyatt House Denver/Lakewood. A great combination that sets the stage for you to explore our hotel and the surrounding area.
Pros: I liked the continental breakfast which had a good variety
Cons: The pillows were horrible and the towels were rough.
Pros: Very clean and the basic rooms are little suites, great outside court yard, very friendly staff and in a great part of town very close to restaurants and other needs
Cons: The A/C didn't blow as cold as I would have liked, but that's it
Pros: Room was very nice, clean, spacious, & comfortable.
Cons: Staff was not helpful. Breakfast was very unorganized, Waited long time for breakfast items to be stocked & staff doing the stocking acted as though she didn't know what she was doing or just didn't care. Only complaint about our is that the bathroom slider door was very difficult to open & close.

Pros: To my surprise I had a small gift inside my room upon my arrival thanking me for my frequent visits to the hotel. I stay here pretty much once a month so it was nice to see they pay attention to those little things and appreciate it.
Pros: The breakfast
Cons: That they took 20 dollars off my credit card for incentdentulls and the guy told that they would put it back on card in one to two days and they never did this hotel has done this to me every time I have stayed there
Pros: the rooms were newly redone and looked awesome. the small kitchen has everything you could think to bring and the dishwasher was a nice amenity to have. the staff was also friendly and accommodating.
Pros: The newly renovated rooms were very large and the addition of a kitchenette made the stay much more enjoyable. The staff was very professional and courteous with our service.
Cons: The parking was only a minor inconveinence due to the construction equipment around.
Pros: Lay out of room was good. Breakfast was also good.
Cons: Hotel is under construction for re-modeling. No pool in the bldg. Had to go across the parking lot to other hotel for pool. Somewhat noisy with construction during the day.
Pros: Yhe breakfast and evening social!
Cons: No I loved my stay here!

Pros: The customer service as a result of an extraordinary staff was second to none. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. Wonderful breakfast each morning and rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Denver area.
Cons: Nothing, it was awesome!
Pros: computer room, close to my daughter, room was kept clean and supplied with soaps - etc.
Cons: construction noise next door (should make guest aware before arrival), coffee/ tea bar near check-in counter was often out of coffee-cups-etc., some carpets needed cleaning (worst was in front of elevator on 4th floor)
Pros: I have stayed at several hotels around Denver some even pricier than this hotel. I paid double he price and had a hot room elsewhere. My room was cool and comfortable :)
Cons: They foryer is a little crowded
Pros: The man at front desk was very nice even during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I was unhappy with a room they assigned problem me with ad he immediately changed it. No problem.
Pros: every thing was great
William E Inman Sr
Pros: Great location. If this motel was renovated it would be much better.
Cons: Non-smoking room had strong odor of smoke. Cleaning crew was outside partying all night.
Pros: Location was great. 15 min from red rocks and 15 min from downtown with things around. Staff was friendly. Hotel was standard

Pros: Modern rooms with heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Easy access from highway and close proximity to restaurants. Enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet.
Pros: Clean, comfortable, staff was helpful and nice...and there were dinosaurs. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: The dinosaurs were great. The pool was clean even tho the hot tub was out of service. The breakfast was by far the best and hot. The restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly and polite
Cons: The beds were small for a queen size. Hard to sleep with pool people being loud. Room was small. Bathroom was small as well.
Pros: The Dino theme, in-house cafe, clean rooms, free coffee
Cons: The bathroom even for a king bedroom was very tiny. It was a little far from downtown Denver if you're taking public transit, but not too far if you have a car.
Pros: Bed was super comfy
Cons: No tub in rooms. Restaurant is only open for dinner and is mostly sandwiches.
Pros: Bed was comfortable, room was clean, quiet. Staff helped carry luggage to 2nd floor
Cons: No elevator
Pros: I really liked how nice the staff were & how clean the housekeeping kept things.
Cons: The doors were kind of tricky to open, the fire alarm went off at 1:30am.
Pros: I booked this hotel for the dinosaurs and it didn't disappoint. In the end, it was your average Best Western, but the dinos were a nice bonus. The location is great for sites like Red Rocks and Dinosaur Ridge; less so for downtown Denver activities. The hot breakfast and pool were great too.
Pros: If you like clean and dinasours this is the place for you
Pros: They have a lot of fossils in the lobby and during breakfast there's a nice girl there to educate everyone, adults and children, on some of the history of fossils. It's really cool.
Cons: The bathrooms are kind of small and there's no elevator to the second floor, for people who have a difficult time with stairs.
Pros: Alice, the assistant general manager was very nice about getting us to another hotel the first night of our trip. We had booked 3 days at this hotel. The hotel was clean and very nicely updated. The pool area has a nice place to eat breakfast and the pool was large and clean. It was a decent place to stay for the price.
Cons: Everyday, in the hall where our room was, the entire length of the hallway and half the width was taken over with dirty laundry (bed linens, towels). We've never seen this at a hotel. Maybe there wasn't enough room in the laundry area. Not sure. Also, the morning after we were directed to the other hotel, we came back to this hotel around 8:00 a.m. One of the young girls told us we could not check in early! I tried explaining to her that we had 3 days booked and paid for and she wouldn't hear it. After all, it wasn't our fault the electricity was out our first night. I explained to her that I had spoken with Alice about this (she didn't believe me and asked what Alice looked like) and when I described Alice, she left the front desk and returned with Alice. Alice was very nice and got us a room. She said the girl didn't know we were already in the system (even though I told the rude girl we were).
I do want to stress that Alice was VERY accommodating.

Pros: Pet friendly with no fees. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The limited breakfast, but it was adequate.
Pros: The hotel was very convenient and the rooms were very clean. It's located in a perfect area to head downtown Denver or up into the mountains or quickly reach Red Rocks.
Cons: Overheard one person complain about pot smoking smell, but although the hotel is 100% smoke free, the front desk said that since it was now legal in Denver, there was nothing they could do about it. Also, we were under the impression based on the description through Kayak and Booking.com that our room was the suite; however we received a lesser room. The breakfast coffee was extremely weak, too.

Pros: Comfortable beds....professional friendly staff....refrigerator in room
Cons: Slow elevators.....
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The parts of the hotel that are more recently renovated look nice. The restaurant is also nice. Conveniently located for Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Cons: Facilities are badly in need of an update. Bathroom in the bedroom was very outdated and felt dirty. The linen also seemed as though it needed to be replaced. While the linen seemed clean, there were parts that were badly stained which just feels gross. I felt that for the cost of the hotel, and the expectations I have for a Sheraton, I got what I would expect from a lower class motel.
Pros: Room was very clean, and very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
Pros: Great Location.
Cons: Elevators take absolutely forever. The dresser drawers were missing from the dresser. Parking is almost non-existent.
Pros: I was hesitant about this hotel because of other negative ratings. But it was a great hotel! Good customer service

Cons: Because they offer room service, breakfast is an additional charge. It would have been nice to have a small breakfast included in the hotel stay. I did know this prior to booking, but stayed anyway due to location and comfort. It is clean and I felt safe traveling by myself.
Pros: Clean hotel and staff was always there to help
Cons: Was about to get denied the room because I wasn't 21
Pros: Great access to local business, shopping
Cons: guy next to us for two nights was noisy. you could hear every thing, TV (long after midnight), showers (at 4am) coughing, sneezing. with a noisy neighbor, it didn't help to be in the last room on the floor. front office manager was not very friendly when we asked about breakfast because we were using points?? i wouldn't stay here again and in fact am re-evaluating staying at any holiday inn....
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful
Pros: I would return to this hotel. The staff was very friendly and professional. Everything worked in our room and was clean. The coffee maker in the room was clean, and the fridge in the room was very cold. The outdoor pool was closed for the season, and though we didn't get to try out the hot tub and workout room we looked them over and they seemed to be in good condition.
It's not opulent by any means, but it was a great deal for the price.

Pros: Free Internet - A must on a business stay.
Service with a Smile - It doesn't matter whether it was busy or not. When it's my turn to receive service, it makes a difference to begin the transaction with a friendly greeting with a smile.
Clean - Not just dust-free, it's smell-free. No smell is good smell.
Cons: There was one breakfast on 5/4/17, where the server just set my order on the table without so much as a hello. Just thought, human interaction matters just as much as a quick service.
Pros: Staff were very friendly as well as helpful. Made you feel they were glad you were there.
Cons: Breakfast needs to be included in price
Pros: It was great to have a fitness center. We actually used it both days we were there. Having a Starbucks 24-7 was also a treat! The staff was very friendly, and we were upgraded to a nicer room, so that was a treat, too!
Cons: It was a little weird that breakfast wasn't included. I've always had a a free continental breakfast at nice hotels.

Pros: Great staff. Tons of breakfast options. Super comfortable bed. Great price. Super close to Red Rocks if you take Lyft or Uber. Perfect for business. Very quiet, even with back to back shows at Red Rocks while we were there.
Cons: Not much nightlife nearby. Couple bars and a liquor store a 20 minute walk down Wadsworth.
Cons: On arrival to room I checked the bed for bedbugs. On one of the mattresses there was cluster of what looked like brown bug eggs at the foot of the bed. This cluster looked like it had been sprayed with a liquid. There was also a blood streak a few inches away from that. I spoke with the front desk, they moved us to a much smaller room, with one bed, no suspicious spots on the mattress. The next day I spoke with the front desk "manager" and asked if I would receive a discount for being moved to a smaller room. She said no, she couldn't do that because I booked through an agency. I would have thought she would be happy to accommodate my request, so I wouldn't write a horrible internet review. I guess she did not care.
Pros: Really nice looking facility. Very clean and well designed.
Cons: First hotel I have ever stayed in without a fridge or microwave - that is an upcharge. Even though our reservation was for 2 queens, we got 2 uncomfortable full sized beds.
Pros: The breakfast spread was quite decent for a 2-star hotel, and the gym was adequate.
Cons: The room did not have a fridge or microwave as expected, the AC struggled to keep the room cool, and the pool was much smaller than it appears in picture.
Pros: Had an enjoyable experience at the hotel. It had a nice atmosphere. I like the various seating areas around it as well.
Cons: The snowy parking lot. Several vehicles got "stuck" while I was staying there. The lot should have been plowed or shoveled a little more.
Pros: Beds were comfortable and room was very nice. Staff friendly. Breakfast in the mornings was always hot and delicious.

Pros: This hotel is pretty convenient to Red Rocks and pretty close to other places in the Denver area we like to go to.
Cons: Where to start - this was our third hotel stay here in the past 4 years and the first two times were pretty positive experiences - comfortable room, nice breakfast, convenient, reasonably priced. To be fair, we did not see the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Otherwise, the price hasn't really changed - otherwise, everything else seems to have gotten worse. Worst of all, the mattress had a giant sag in one part - I basically had to put a pillow to try to balance it out. There were cracks in the bathroom. After arriving at 245 pm (3 pm check-in time), we were told nothing would be ready for about an hour. Sorry to see a good place has gotten worse. Unfortunately for Quality Inn's sake, now that their reputation has been damaged, there are many options in Denver before I am likely to try them again.
Pros: Many helpful staff Marcus was awesome
Cons: Many things were slightly broken like the elevator washer and sink in our room
Pros: • Great location if you want to be close to Denver, but not actually stay in Denver.
• Easy access to several major Highways
• Close to shopping and several restaurants
• Clean and Comfortable room
• Large, clean and Comfy beds
• Very clean bathrooms
• Nice hot breakfast spread every morning
• Pet and family friendly
• Friendly and helpful staff
Overall we had an excellent experience and would stay here anytime we are visiting Denver.
Cons: There wasn't enough parking. We had to park next door at a different hotel one night that we stayed out late.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't actively inspect, but the room seemed clean.
Cons: There was a drier outside the front entrance waiting for removal for at least two days making the motel appear run down. Likewise the dumpster visible from the backside rooms detracted from the appearance of the motel. Although there are restaurants and strip malls nearby, there isn't much to do. It's more of a place for getting off the highway for the night. Neighboring motels had neater outside appearance.
Get more for your money when you stay at the Quality Inn And Suites hotel in Lakewood, CO. Located at the foot of Mt. Evans near famous Red Rocks Amphitheater, our hotel is a convenient lodging choice when corporate travel sends you to the Denver area. Here, you can take care of work at the business center and enjoy other hotel amenities like free WiFi, free hot breakfast, a fitness center and laundry facilities. Our guestrooms feature premium bedding, coffee makers, flat-screen TVs, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, microwaves and refrigerators. Some rooms include desks. Also, earn rewards including free nights and gift cards with our Choice Privileges Rewards program.
Cons: Bathroom wasn't very clean and mattresses aren't comfortable at all. Loud a/c.
Pros: I didn't spend 50 on a hotel expecting much, and didn't get much so all is well!
Pros: The door locked... To keep out the homeless and drug dealers.
Cons: Boogers and blood on the sheets and comferter. Room wasnt very clean. Matress was horrible. Could have spent $20 more on a half decent place. Tom Bodett wouldnt even stay here. Seemed like 3/4 of the rooms had people living in them longterm.
Cons: PROSTITUTES. witnessed pimp pick one up in short time i was getting luggage. Took wrong turn initially and there was a cop posted behind the walmart next to the motel, ARMED WITH SHOTGUN. quickly turned around and got to our hotel only to witness a pimp picking up a prostitute (she was yelling to men from a motel room she came out of telling them next time she wanted a skirt?) quickly went inside, only to then witness a cop badger my boyfriend who was grabbing his socks from the car. He made it inside safe when 30 minutes later a person right under our room had gotten arrested, for what I could only assume from peeking out my window and watching the interaction as tweaking out on something. Got out alive and very thankful for the low crime rate of small town Des Moines.
True story, will verify if needed.
Pros: I like how big the bathroom was. It was a modern bathroom
Cons: There was evidence of someone smoking inside the room
Pros: Luckily, I got a handicapped room which meant the bathroom was huge (the size of the room) and looked brand new
Cons: BUT. that's where the pros end. The room reeked of cigarettes and gave me a cough the next day, everyone is incredibly loud and have no respect for people sleeping, there was a loud squeaky bed above me that wouldn't let me sleep, and this is the 2nd room we moved to. The first one: the ac didn't work and the door lock was broke. Oh and someone relieved themselves in the toilet and didn't flush. I would spend an extra $25 and stay somewhere much better
Cons: We arrived at 330 to check in. The front desk staff was extremely rude. We were told, after waiting in line for 20 minutes, that our room would be another hour. We had 2 dogs with us that had been in the car since 6am. We were there for a hospital appt. So, an hour came and went and we got no call that our room was ready. Finally, around 5, we stopped back at the front desk and were given a key. The room was dirty, small and smelled like smoke, There were drug deals going on on the corner. This was a horrible experience.
Cons: A lot of crime in the area... Woken up by sirens and flashing lights in the parking lot two times during my stay.
Pros: Comfortable only thing is a lot if random people walking around but it that's everywhere I guess. Everything is close by! ,Comfortable only thing is a lot if random people walking around but it that's everywhere I guess. Everything is close by! Walmart is right down the street and so is downtown Lakewood. Which is beautiful at night!

Motel 6 Denver - Lakewood is located minutes from downtown and professional sports venues and attractions. Easy access to anywhere in the city. Modern rooms with Premium WiFi: 4.99 or Basic Wifi: 2.99 per 24 hours.
Pros: it is pet friendly for an extre $25 - it is located close to a number of resturants
Cons: just about everything! we like Extended Stay hotels and have stayed at several across the country. This one was BY FAR the worst. Our non-smoking room reeked of smoke, there were no kitchen utensils no pots no dishes - some of the usual reasons we like ES hotels. Someone also tried to open our outdoors exposed door in the middle of the night - good thing the dog was right there
Pros: They were very accommodating even for one evening when all hotels in downtown Denver were booked with large conventions. There were plenty of close restraunts within walking distance. Close to major freeways.
Cons: Some of the neighboring rooms were loud and plently of people used it as there home.

Cons: I went to the room they assigned me. I used the card key, it unlocked and someone was already occupying the room. They apologized and gave me a new room, which was not occupied. The exterior is very dirty and old looking. The room was dark and dirty. Only 2 very thin/pillows. Stains on the comforter. Would never stay here again.
Pros: It was close to were we needed to be.
Cons: Honestly I feel like sketchy things happen there. Lots of cops rolling through, some of the rooms were boarded up. Dirty, outside is very rusted. Wouldn't recommend to anyone, especially family with children and people traveling alone.
