Spacious room, available parking.
The staff were very welcoming and the walk into 'il cenro storico' was not the hike some reviewers had made it out to be
It's clseness to the town centre Very little activity at night. ie Bar was empty and no one serving.
The staff were just wonderful, attentive ad helpful. The hotel is within 15mins walking distance to the town centre, which makes it perfect. My room was large, airy and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is pretty decent and hearty. All in all, a very pleasant stay. I'd go back again.
Welcome drink at the room. Indoor car parking. Location next to highway
Very friendly staff and personnel. Spacious room, (welcome drink and even flowers!) Very good restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. Indoor car-parking.
Made to feel very welcome - given a glass of wine on arrival. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very pleasant. No
The elegance and comfort of rooms and the friendliness of the staff
the amability of hotel staff no
Food was good Very difficult to find being in the old town. Air conditioning did not work in room. One of bathroom lights not working leaving room dim. Check out slow due to old computer/ printer. Tired old hotel.
at the reception Andrea was extremely helpful
very peaceful close to Citte D Castello
The history of the house, the location, the restaurant
Excellent staff on reception and central location. Breakfast coffee - but it's awful everywhere in Italy. Why do they make such good coffee at all other times but not for breakfast? We had a very large bedroom but no proper shelves or drawers for clothes, just a wardrobe.
The overall confort and the price/quality ratio
This hotel was perfect in every way including price, location and history.
The hotel is easy to reach very welcoming. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, providing us with excellent assistance in a difficult situation. Our stay was very pleasant and I definitely recommend this hotel for any type of stay!
the bar was closed until 18:40 so that the staff could have their dinner. For a hotel of this quality, this was poor. Also, when we arrived back from dinner at 23:00 we had to beg a glass of wine.
Clean comfortable room Staff gave keys and no information about where our room was, which floor etc, where meals were served and what times etc, or any of the facilities at the hotel
It was very beautiful and the food excellent Menu very limited and stock in the bar limited
Friendly staff and idyllic location with fabulous views.
It is definetely a nice place to stay for a week end. Nice countryside, view around the Relais and the swimming pool is very nice as well. The restaurant/service could be improved.
The helpfulness of the staff; the amazing, romantic position on a rocky outcrop with fabulous views over the valley below; stylish decor; quiet and tranquil (you do need a car as this hotel is quite remote although only 15 minutes to Citta di Castello); the indoor pool/jacuzzi area were lovely and warm - no spa though.
Beautiful view, good meat dishes, nice old medieval building, very cosy The swimming pool was very basic, hotel is quite noisy
I found the staff very helpful and friendly. The man on reception Mauro was particularly helpful. He rang local bike shops and found out information about canoeing trips and golf, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him.He went out of his way to be helpful. The complimentary glass of fizz at supper was most welcoming. The toweling robes were very nice to have to wear to the pool. The views were really beautiful from the terrace and the swimming pool not easily conveyed in photographs. The only thing which I felt could be improved was the breakfast. There was a reasonable amount to choose from but fresh bread would have been nice to have as an alternative to the sweet pastries, or possibly even a cooked option.
This year we came back to the hotel because we had a lovely stay at the hotel last year.
Natural environments were splendid and were able to make myself at home than they were in my family. The staff of the hotel of me was the kindest as far as knew it.
beautiful placed well kept in great taste
Very, very nice property over looking Sansepolcro. Friendly owner and staff. We used it as a base to visit the art rich region around (Arezzo, Urbino, Gubbio etc...), enjoying this beautiful house, room ,garden and swimming pool, away from the crowd.
The proprietors of the hotel are fantastic. So warm and friendly and wonderfully Italian! They made us feel so welcome. I recommend staying for dinner as the food is delicious.
It feels a very personal service and experience, and the building with its views are superb. Excellent pool. Hotel very easy to find. No
Very well restored building with beautiful views and setting. Very restful and tranquil close to a town with good facilities.
terrific location, wonderful warm welcome only cakes for breakfast, room left unlocked after rather careless cleaning, passports left unattended in the hall, rooms are beautiful, but rather noisy, no information to be found about prices for dinner, which turned out to be very nice, but rather expensive
Central location in the old city, spacious and nice room Access by car during market period is almost impossible. The breakfast is little bit light, no eggs, only one kind of ham, poor bread....
Very central, on the main street. Helpful staff who spoke good English, to make up for my very poor Italian. An excellent conversion of a fine old building. Did not use the dining room, apart from breakfast, so cannot comment on the food. Some noise in the street, but this is almost inevitable, given the location.
Very quiet, scenic location in the country side
It had a wonderful setting and the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed our lunch and dinner at the hotel. The showers are in poor condition and the cold water had no pressure so it was difficult to get a proper shower without scalding oneself. The mattresses are also hard and old.
beautiful landscape, very friendly staff lousy food, no waterpreassure in room, smelly room
