When you stay at Chongko Farmstay in Lamae, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The nature around. We were in the middle of a tropical forest. The cosy room. The staff very friendly. The tranquility and the sounds of the birds all around us.
Cons: Although one should not watch tv in a place like this it would be nice if they had some international news channels or movie channel in English. All channels in Thai. Dinner is served a bit too early.
Pros: So different to other places Loved the setting Loved to design of the villas
Cons: It wasn’t the cleanest There are a lot of bugs (no fault of the lovely owners!)
Pros: Very delicious food; made dinner even as the kitchen was already closed.
Pros: In beautiful hilly surroundings, absolute peace and quiet is what you can expect. Only natural sounds. Views on the hills or close to a little river, all differently designed stylish bungalows have something unique to offer. We had half board, breakfast and dinner included, and the food was delicious. The only thing I regretted was not being able to stay longer...a truly hidden gem.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Pros: What a spectacular property! We loved our stay, it was so relaxing
Cons: We loved our time!! Just a few suggestions... Food was amazing, but perhaps a few more western options for little ones? We loved our little personalised letters, maybe a small fruit basket in the rooms each day? And extra places to hang towels - just silly little things! Overall an extremely high class property and one i can definitely recommend
Pros: Pictures say more than thousand of words! The hosts were so friendly and so interested to get to know something about us. The dinner was amazing and the staff unique. We stayed here on valentines day and we got surprised by a special candle light dinner for our own with view over the jungle. We never saw something like this it was incredible to hear all the birds and the monkeys around us while dinning. I also got a bunch of tropical flowers from the hostess.
Cons: Nothing! Was an unique stay and an incredible experience.
Pros: This place is such a gem. Perfect if you want to relax in a secluded place and enjoy the nature and breathtaking view. Incredibly friendly couple who runs the Farmstay. All meals were amazing.
Cons: It is a little hard to get to (we sometimes wished we had a 4-wheeler) but totally worth the bumpy drive.
Pros: Room is ok. Design and territory of hotel is impressive. Can walk around the durian and other gardens. Nice views from restaurant to hills.
Cons: I made a booking for room with private pool and around 15 min later hotel called me and informed that this room type was sold out. And they will offer for me downgrade and refund money. It is fine however it is not hospitality. If room is wrong you need to make recovery and it is not only about refund. It is about how you tell it to the guest and what you can offer to them to apologize. In this case nothing was offered. Room was ok. Clean but mattress is hard as it is with springs. Breakfast is very simple and offer only 1 dish with fresh mango. For the price of nearly 3000 thb per night is not good enough.
Pros: This Place is beautifull. In the rainforest on a Durian Plantage. The melinjohouse is very nice and komfortable. The Ownerfamily ist very very gentil. We liked it to stay there an will be come back once again.
Pros: Super welcoming staff; beautiful views; clean, comdortable, unique house. Will definitely recommend this to friends!
When you stay at Auychai Grand Hotel in Lang Suan, you'll be 13 minutes by car from Suan Nai Dum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Large bath, room and adequate air conditioning
Cons: Hard bed and breakfast was a coffee and toast.
Cons: Staff unfriendly.and misserable Dark bedroom Absolute rubbish breakfast, only 2 cheap toast and coffee choice of red colored jam or butter, that was it!
Cons: Staff does not speak a word in English
Pros: It's a little bit retro/dated but was still relaxing and clean and I liked it. A big room. Clean & modern floor tiles. Bed was comfortable, airconditioner and hot shower very good too. However I estimate it was about 100baht overpriced, however they lack competition in the area hence why they put price high.
Cons: We arrived late at night after riding from Koh Samui. Had to pay 200baht for key deposit on arrival which wasn't mentioned on booking.com This meant that we didn't have enough money for dinner that night because I didn't get enough out of the atm at the time of booking. It would be helpful to notify guests of this before booking on internet so we can allocate funds.
