9.3 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find in Lélex, great journey to the location through very pretty forest/mountain area. We stayed in room romantique - good size room, four poster bed, excellent bathrooms - one shower, toilet, basin and separate bath, basin and toilet. Also in the room was a separate small lounge with wood fire - very cosy. Owner/Chef was welcoming, restaurant food extremely good - best goats cheese salad and simply delicious pizza. English menu translation available and reasonable prices.
Cons: There was a requirement to be there between certain times and an additional payment of you turned up very late in the evening. We were touring so didn’t make our time and were a bit later than expected - made for an interesting discussion in french which we didn’t understand on turning up!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived earlier than check-in time but the owners were very hospitable, checked us in and gave us the key to our room. Beautiful location. Hard to believe they have anywhere between 3-20 metres of snow in the winter months. We arrived in July with temperatures reaching 34 degrees!! We sat outside in the bar area and the music was good. Free prosciutto and nibbles served while we drank our cocktails. Beautifully decorated and very clean throughout. Very comfortable bed. And our evening meal was exceptional.
Cons: Perhaps a shower that you didn’t have to hold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bread for the breakfast was delicious. The room very comfortable Don't be afraid of the Adults Only mention, there is nothing kinky.

5.8 Okay
Cons: We thought that this hotel was really overpriced for what you got. The decor was pretty tired and dated. The family room we were in wasn’t particularly spacious. Our children were in bunk beds but the top bunk’s side bar wasn’t high enough to stop anyone rolling out. Consequently we had to remove the mattress so that our eldest could safely sleep on the floor. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room. The breakfast was in addition to the price of the room and was overpriced for what was on offer. Although the location was central (as the name would suggest) the view we had wasn’t anything of note. All in all, it was somewhere to lay our heads but I wouldn’t go as far as to recommend it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the homely family feel of this small hotel. It was friendly, clean (new bathrooms!) and the staff were great. We ate in the hotel and the food was lovely.
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Very good food. Very clean. Nice views from rooms facing the valley (back side of the building).
Cons: It would be great to add a water kettle to the room. Rooms are a bit small but ok.

Pros: We liked the murals of famous pipe smokers outside each elevator landing, and plaques of pipe smokers on the hotel room doors. The bed was comfortable and the room was large. There was a beautiful view from the window.
Cons: We could hear every word of a man having a phone conversation in the next room. The toilet paper dispenser gave out only one small rectangle with each tug.

Pros: Staff were welcoming and there was a good breakfast provided and dinner in the evening was lovely. I was on a velo and there was a secure garage opposite to leave the velo overnight.

Pros: A nice clean stopover location.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
3.3 Mediocre

7.0 Good
Pros: This is a fairly basic hotel which we used as a stop over on our way to the Netherlands. The restaurant was shut but the receptionist guided us to a very pleasant bistro about 10 minutes walk away - along with several other guests from the hotel!
Cons: Breakfast was OK although the choice was limited and the food was not very fresh. The receptionist spoke no English but we understood most of the information she gave us.

Pros: Nice modern room with very good bathroom - huge walk in shower. Our room had access out onto the roof terrace. We ate in the restaurant which was very good with a nice view looking out over the town. Well appointed continental breakfast available at an extra cost.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Bed was clean & comfortable
Cons: Website indicated that the restaurant was open in the evening but did not advise that it was not open on Sunday evening - one of the reasons we booked. Similarly, wifi was to be available for free - the wifi was so weak it was unusable. The location of the hotel was in the worst part of town - very disappointing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great, service was very good. Lookout and mountain views were wonderful. Breackfast was very good. The room was clean and comfortable
Cons: Workers were carring out repair work right on our floor, in 2 steos from our room. It was noisy morning and unpleasant a bit

4.5 Okay
Pros: We liked the dog. The view from the restaurant was beautiful.
Cons: The room was basic with poor attention to detail. The fixtures and fittings in the corridor looked they’d been done by a child. We ate in the restaurant. We ordered steak which was the worst I’ve ever seen. Just fat, which was inedible for a steep 21 Euro’s! We wouldn’t stay here again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good varied buffet. Fresh bread.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The countryside was beautiful and we walked up to the lake. Breakfast was good, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the restaurant was well priced. We found the staff very friendly.
Cons: The photo of the room we booked on booking.com site showed a balcony but it didn't match the room we were given. No balcony. The Manager explained that the room we booked didn't have a balcony and there were none available. We accepted his explanation but we were a little disappointed though our room had a lovely view.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Superb restaurant, and friendly staff.
Cons: We would have preferred a room facing on to the meadow's at the back of the hotel. Bathroom had no blind or curtain, therefore you had to be careful not to expose yourself when standing up to have a shower, as the window faced the main road and car park.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good just because is in mountain.
Cons: Very cold stuff and poor wifi
7.5 Good
Pros: When booking in I was disappointed to find the double room faced onto the main road running past the hotel. I asked if I could get a room at the back of the hotel. I was offered one & although it was a twin room it had a lovely big balcony with good views over a field to the hills beyond. The staff in the restaurant were always very welcoming & pleasant.
Cons: Nothing really springs to mind.
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast buffet was immense and high quality
Cons: The diner was cold

5.0 Okay
Pros: Scenery

Pros: excellent generous breakfast, located in beautiful valley, 3000mt elevation, very relaxing.
Cons: The en suite bathroom was adequate but needed a facelift otherwise everything clean and tidy
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Rooms ok, comfortable beds.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff were helpful and friendly
Cons: We paid a deposit of £19.95 by Visa debit card at time of booking on 01/03/2018 but at time of settling the bill this was not deducted. We have the receipt which shows that we paid in full. Please can you investigate.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Light the fire in the bar.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is 2* hotel in mountains, so don't expect Ritz in Paris. It is clear they don't have any investor to renew the place and have to live with the money they earn. Anyway, our room was not new but well maintained and clean. Bed, towels and sheets like in a ***hotel or better. When we arrived, room was warm (radiator turned on). The bathroom is not big but still clean and there was also a place for our cosmetic bags. After the skiing, we liked the water was hot! :) They charge additional 10€ pp for breakfast and there are many things to choose from, 2 types of bread + croissant or some sweet brioche, ham, 5 kinds of cheese, 3 marmalades, pancakes, coffee machine, and like 10 different kinds of tea ... They can store your ski so you don't have to leave it in the car or bring it to the room.
Cons: Boiled eggs for breakfast were not fresh. On the first morning, we missed vegetable (we are used to eat but I realise in France they don't), but we bought some tomatoes in a near shop for the next morning. Our friends had a smoking room and they sprayed it out instead of change for another.
