Some have a sauna, while others are modelled after a traditional Mongolian roundhouse. Free Wi-Fi is available in Halvorseth’s restaurant, along with pizza and Italian dishes. Pros: Very nice cabin with great interiors. Was allowed to bring my allergy-friendly small dog which was much appreciated.
Pros: We stayed in the family cabin - which was in wonderful condition, clean, and sized just right for our family of six. It had a kitchenette, bathroom, and fireplace in addition to a table and seating areas. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The pizza at the restaurant is wonderful.
Cons: There is limited/no cell service in the area so you are reliant on their wifi, which we were able to pick up in the cabin (free in the restaurant). Certainly not a deal-breaker, and possibly really a positive, other than limited bandwidth for one of our kids to get some school work done.
Pros: Very nice people running the place. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the peaceful night.
Pros: Lovely location and accommodation. Staff really helpful and pizza very tasty.
Pros: Great beds, cabin was great
Pros: It was our first time in an Mongolian tent and it was very interesting. It was well furnished and had all that we needed. We were in a quite area of the camping and had a terrace that had a lovely view, we slept very well.
Cons: On departure you had to clean the tent yourself otherwise there was a cleaning fee of 40 euros even though we only stayed one night! Luckily we are not messy people. Bedding was also extra.
Pros: Nice place, good food
Cons: Wifi was a pain
With a stay at Lampeland Hotell in Lampeland, you'll be 25.5 mi (41 km) from Norefjell and 13.5 mi (21.8 km) from Norwegian Mining Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast was awesome! So much to choose from. The beds were really comfortable.
Cons: Everything was really good. Norway is really expensive though (everywhere).
Pros: The hotel is very nicely decorated and uses a lot of local, charming, decor. The staff were very friendly. Location is very convenient but as it’s behind a petrol station, depending on where the room is located, can be slightly disturbing.
Cons: Unfortunately we were there during a local village fest and whilst the market was great to see and we were forewarned about some noises, we were not told about live music until 2am. The music only started at 10pm and until that point we were ok with the noise level. Had we known that later on there was going to be a band we would have insisted on the room to the back that the member of staff had mentioned we could have if it got too loud. However, at 10 pm we didn’t fancy the upheaval and stuck with it.
Pros: Very friendly reception. Although we arrived around 23h00 the friendly receptionist made tasty sandwich-dishes for us. A modern, well-run and well-maintained hotel, aiming for businesses, large groups and feasts. Large parking. Large room with wooden floor. Abundant breakfast. An 'Kiwi' supermarket and an extensive fast Veefil charging place for electric vehicles (and Tesla) is only 100 m away although the hotel itself also has a few chuko sockets available for charging on request.
Cons: 'double bed' was like most often two singles side by side.
Pros: Location for trip plan, althoughit is on the road it is very convenient . Family owned and very well run
Cons: Rooms a bit small
Pros: Absolutely charming interior, great room and excellent breakfast. Hidden gem. Highly recommend, look no further! We would love to stay again if we ever travel from Oslo by car.
Pros: Nice interior, spotlessly clean, excellent staff, free coffe, great lounge areas. Amazing breakfast.
Cons: AC did not work nor was the Wi-fi reliable
Pros: The Lampeland Hotel offers nice, clean and very comfortable rooms with an excellent breakfast! You have the opportunity to use the à-la-carte restaurant or a cafe, that offers a wide range of dishes as well. Additionally, there is always great coffee, tea and water at any time in the lounge available.
Pros: Very comfortable and welcoming. You not need to go out. Atmosphere excellent and food excellent
Pros: really friendly staff breakfast cosy and peacefull
Cons: a bit old furniture and equipment was really hot in our room in the evening

Pros: So clean and very quiet. Great view over the town too.
Pros: Although the reception was closed, the instructions including to get the keys/ key drop were quite clear. The location is excellent just right next to the ski centre.
Cons: The price per day is OK, but gets a bit expensive by adding the cleaning fee. Meaning, pricing only gets interesting for long term staying where the cleaning fee gets diluted.
Pros: The check in was very efficient. The apartment was exactly what we wanted, a great location with stunning views.
Pros: Exceptional views of the town. Very peaceful and quiet. Only 10 mins in taxi to town. After 2 weeks here I knew that it was a great decision to stay in this location and not to opt for a hotel down in the main town itself. Wonderful location indeed! I hope to be back in the not too distant future.
Cons: What is there not to like?
Pros: Every thing

Pros: Good sleep and room, nice breakfast.
Pros: Good breakfast with wide variety of options. Location at the city center. Silent rooms with pretty good beds
Cons: There is no aircondition in the room
Pros: Pool, SPA
Cons: Missing towels in SPA/Pool.
Pros: The location in the middle of Kongsberg
Cons: The room did not correspond to the picture on booking, room was located opposite of a ventilation and was so loud that we couldn't open the window during the night. It was to warm in the room!
Pros: Great location, nice and clean hotel in general and the breakfast was fantastic.
Cons: No water in the room.
Pros: Location swimming pool sauna and Jacuzzi
Cons: Lack of parking unless in a parking lot extremely expensive. Swimming pool with warm drinks available, just one cup left what is the point to have the drinks? Breakfast good choice but, the eggs with bacon were deadly cold and the tray with salmon (at least judging from the left overs it was supposed to be salmon) was left empty. Same the yogurt
Pros: Excellent buffet breakfast, somewhat spoiled by cold plates for the hot service. There are plate warmers, but they're just not used. Good location. Friendly staff and a decent gym.
Cons: Small room with a tiny single bed and soft spongy mattress, no in-room tea or coffee. Considering the high cost of the room I was not impressed.
Pros: Everything was perfect!
Pros: It was in a great location and breakfast buffet was good.
Cons: I got a single room. It was pretty small, but exactly what I expected for a European hotel.

Pros: Complete breakfast selections - hot and cold items. Nice places to sit in all of the restaurant area. Well stocked with a variety of foods, fruits, drinks, etc. Service cleanup was ongoing and friendly.
Pros: Coffee 24/7 and especially the breakfast to go, perfect. Location was grand and the staff were absolutely wonderful.
Cons: Dinner was complicated. I like simple dishes.
Pros: The breakfast is very good.
Pros: I got a really big room. The bed was super comfortable to sleep. I also had a WiFi router in the room, means you can connect with a cable for a good Internet. There are two supermarkets close to the hotel, so you always have an alternative to the hotel´s dinner.
Cons: The snow cleaning machines usually working at 1 am in the night, and even that I have a deep sleep some of my colleagues were complaining the noise. There was a false fire alarm, just because someone was taking shower. I also was expecting a better choice for breakfast, it was a good choice, but could have been better. I was missing a good coffee in particular.
Cons: Very very hot. Did get a fan but little help!
Pros: A fantastic breakfast, pleasant staff and comfortable areas in which to relax and chat.
Pros: Location was great
Cons: There was no accessibility ramp at the front of the hotel - only stairs
Pros: Breakfast was good. Really thought the bed was comfortable unlike new new hotels with rock hard beds. The heated bathroom floor was grand and the fact the windows opened was also nice. Location was perfect to do some walking around. The staff was very helpful and the grab and go breakfast was perfect.
Cons: exercise bike had some problems, but it was still useable
Pros: Room is quiet, nice and warm. Location is near train station and taxi pickup points. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Pros: Warm welcome, super breakfast
Cons: A bit old style
Pros: The hotel was very comfortable and in an excellent location just across the road from the railway station. A very nice place to stay for work or leisure.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: - location as in terms of getting into the town. - location as it’s on the E134 so I could drive into Komgsberg and drive out simply. - Good filling breakfast for a hostel. - Spacious kitchen clean kitchen area. - Clean, ironed bedsheets.
Cons: - Pillow too thin - Window did not close well and if you are a female not very safe! - To air-con or fan. - Room 23, to turn on the Tv a bright lamp has to also be tuned on lol! - Most people are traveling through here so want an early start, and even though all the times showed breakfast starts at 07:00 very annoyingly it opened at 08:00!! Seems it’s suits their needs than the travelers needs!
Pros: Surprisingly great breakfast
Cons: I understand, that there is Norway and Norway price level, but anyway this is far too price for basic a hostel room
Pros: Clean and more or less comfortable room with own bathroom and common kitchen. Breakfast is nice.
Cons: Small rooms
Pros: Good location. Decent breakfast provided. Note that you have to make up your own bed and bring used linen and towels to reception when checking out.
Cons: The bathroom was tiny. Some people might struggle to close the door when using the toilet. There is lots of construction going on in front of the accommodation at present.
Pros: Cost including a good quality breakfast very good value . Parking was free & onsite . Easy access into the town via footpath nearby .
Cons: Building a new car park outside so was noisy early morning when work began . Room was functional clean & everything worked with shower & toilet ,but looked dated . Sat nav information is incorrect !look at picture by roundabout was easier to locate it .
Pros: Good location, but there are road works all around the site and it took time to get there. Town center is in walking distance, nice park nearby. The hostel is new and very clean, the common kitchen is just great.
Pros: Simple location as expected from a (youth) hostel. No luxuries, but room with own toilet and shower. Everything clean. Good choice in breakfast buffet.
Cons: Location-address is not known on Navigation system, our Navi even brought us to a different location with the correct address. According to staff at the hostel this is a known problem and has to do with google/GPS not knowing the correct street name.
Pros: Good value
Cons: Large amount of heavy ground work being done directly outside the hostel
Pros: The breskfast were splendid
Cons: Munch work around The hostel
