Pros: Beautiful setting. Details such as huge, fluffy towels and ironed cotton sheets. Great breakfast with many choices including made to order eggs. Owners are delightful.
Cons: Not much room to put suitcase.
Pros: The location was lovely on the bank of the Nantes-Brest canal. The accommodation was very comfortable and quiet and our hosts very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was super with, unfortunately, too many home made preserves and honeys to do justice to them all.
Cons: Only the weather
Pros: nice breakfast nice location lovely motorcycling roads great hosts super comfy bed would definitly stay again and recommend to friends.
Pros: Stayed for four nights in May, driving to the coasts of Bretagne (and Heulgoat – don’t miss that !). Very special warm B&B in very nice surroundings. Good feelings, good bed and splendid breakfast (only: Why will no one take cheese for breakfast in France ???). Will certainly come back if we get the chance.
Cons: Had to leave.
Pros: This lovely home is in a peaceful setting next to the Nice/ Brest canal. There is ample beautiful garden to amble around and a relaxing terrace to enjoy a drink. The breakfast must be the best available in the whole of France
Cons: Bit too much clutter in the bedroom
Pros: The breakfast is second to none and the hosts are very welcoming and easy to speak to.
Pros: Exceptionally homely gite in a lovely location, quite central to places to visit and things to do. Well equipped and very spacious gite where we enjoyed the garden, sitting and eating outside, and long leisurely walks along the canal/riverside, and a bike ride. We spent a wonderful time with warm hospitality from our hosts, thank you Jilly and Bryan.
Pros: The hosts, Bryan and Jill were absolutely wonderful - Bryan offered to drive me to a nearby restaurant on my first night as it was quite late and I didn't have a means of getting there myself, which I thought was extremely kind. They were very friendly and hospitable throughout and the breakfast was exquisite! I couldn't have wished for anything more from the room - it was cosy and very comfortable, with an excellent shower. It even had English TV which was a nice home comfort to have! The garden was lovely, and the canal the house sits by was very nice to walk along in the evenings. In terms of peace and quiet, this place offers it in spades.
Cons: The only thing I can possibly fault is that the internet didn't seem to be working on my final night, but this is only a very minor gripe! It's sometimes nice not to have your head buried in your phone after all!
Pros: Lovely tasteful characterful place, and the hosts are charming
Pros: All was perfect!

Pros: To be welcomed by Ursula, as a guest in her home, is a precious experience. This lovely lady, has renovated this chateau to create a wonderful place. It is her passion and we felt very honoured to be part of it for such a short time. Anyone who stays here, can not be anything, other than impressed, with the history of their impressive, yet homely and relaxed surroundings. We already look forward to a return visit.
Pros: Ursula was an amazing host and made our short stay a memorable one. We really enjoyed roaming the grounds and exploring with our two toddlers, they loved it, We made the most of the barbecue facilities and the children's play area.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was how we wanted it. We wouldn't change a thing.
Pros: Wonderful building in a fantastic location. Complete peace and quiet, and a heated swimming pool near the Chateau. A fascinating place to stay.
Pros: The château, the garden. The owner is a very gentle and charmed woman who cares for her customers.
Cons: The room was not what I was expecting in a château...
Pros: The hospitality was excellent. The organisation of our stay was efficient from arrival to departure, despite not being a conventional hotel, more a luxuary Bed and Breskfast, there was always someone available when required. The room were clean and furniture of a high standard, the bed perfect.
Cons: Leaving. The flys were a problem but I am begining to understand that they are a part of continental life and caused no long term stress.
Pros: The location exceeded expectations, a hidden gem. The host went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay. It was much appreciated.
Cons: I wish I had another day to explore.
Pros: This property is sure to please people who love architectural restoration projects! The owner, Madame Lattmann, has spent twenty years turning a crumbling 19th century château into a charming and comfortable residence with some lovely neo-Gothic touches. There is a swimming pool, billiards, a huge veranda overlooking expansive lawns with ancient trees and a magnificent breakfast room in the former kitchens. The room was large, comfortable, with baggage rack and antique wardrobe. There was a full tray of teas and coffee and complimentary bottled water. Madame Lattmann was most cordial and helpful and we enjoyed hearing about her experience restoring this property which she has decorated with care for comfort - especially the veranda with large, comfortable sofas, heat lamps, books, and brochures. Since we did not want to go out again for dinner, she offered us her "bocaux" solution - hermetically sealed jars fill with gourmet fare that she heats up in her oven. They were tasty. The breakfast offered various breads, jams, ham, cheese, yogurt, fruits, juice, teas and coffee of excellent quality.
Cons: Anyone who is wobbly on stairs might not like climbing an old wooden staircase with a banister that is way too low for today's tall people (but one of the prettier original items from the original decor). The bathroom is very small and includes the toilet. There is little space to put toiletries.
