A lovely, modern hotel located in the old section of Landstuhl very convenient to the castle Burg Nanstein. Amazing marble bathrooms, exceptionally clean. Very generous breakfast with many choices.
One of the most beautiful interiors I have seen. The whole place has been renovated and the elegance and style is modern but in keeping with such a historic building. The Reasturant was amazing and it was set out so nice we chose to eat in doors rathe than outside. The cockerel next door wakes you up a bit too early!, but seriously this is the only thing I can fault so I really do not have any negative comments.
The staff was very friendly, diner and breakfast were very good. Room was spacious. When in the neighbourhood I will stay here again definitely.
During the check-in I was greeted by the manager(?). First time in over30-years of traveling, someone from the hotel was going to assist me with my bags!
very accommadating excellant resteraunt and
Service was very good, attentive to my needs. Food was also very good. Not far from my work location.
The staff was very outgoing and friendly, and were more than willing to accomodate any request.
This hotel was very nice. Probably nicer than we should have stayed with our 3 year old. The rooms were spacious and clean and with very nice furniture. The restaurant was quite fancy. The staff was very nice and efficient. No complaints.
The room was large with a hardwood floor and immaculate. The bath was brand new and also exceptionally clean.
Exceptional service- the staff was very friendly and helpful
This is a family run hotel that rates high on service, warmth, and accommodation. Being that it was wintery, cold, with snow on the ground and everywhere, I liked that it was very centrally-located to numerous restaurants, bakeries, cafes, post office, and shops. I could walk to go get dinner after a long work day. I was also able to do some leisurely shopping and grab some italian ice cream. Breakfast was excellent and they opened it up early for the one day I had to get in to work by 6:30am. Internet (wired) was free and fast in my room and helped out with the homesickness. My room and closet were huge and spacious...more like a mini suite with a sitting area and work desk as well as refrigerator, microwave, sink, etc. My room did not have adequate room darkening curtains to block out the streetlight and moonlight. There simply wasn't enough of it to go across the entire width of the windows. Between this and the fact that I could clearly hear conversations of passersby on the street, I did get concerned about my own privacy. I think I will ask to change rooms next time...away from the street and not on the first floor. Also, no in-room safe.
It was very clean, simple and more than adequate fo rmy needs. The staff were extremely friendly and addressed issues very quickly. The rooms were spacious, clean, light, well decorated and furnished and the bathroom was superb. The heating/hot water loss on 2 occasions was unfortunate. However, the hotel dealt with this issue immediately and offered me a complimentary gift as an apology. The only added feature I would suggest is more towels and addition of face cloths (flannels)
Attention of the owners- Chista and Michael, very good people.
Incredible friendly staff. Excellent rooms.
Excellent, outstanding facility at a great price. Large, spacious rooms with plug and play free Internet service. Breakfast is a nice selection of breads, fruits, jams and other things and they are very accommodating should you need to eat earlier than the official start time of 7:00 a.m. As can be the case in many smaller hotels, there is no staff there much of the day, but aside from from, this is a terrific place to stay with a large, comfortable room which is atypical for Europe.
Friendly staff and lovely breakfast Squeaky floorboards, just in one part ... very noisy! Loved all the rest though.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and accomodating. The location was central to the city. A wonderful experience.
Rooms were spacious clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast excellent.
The breakfast was very good and they even packed me a to-go bag the last morning that I left at 4 am.....the bag was outside my door! Not enough towels......and none of the directions in the room were in English...only German
Loved the service. Free breakfast and the restaraurant at the hotel was very classy. Great spa as well Didn't like that the spa wasn't open when it was suppose to be. No pool either.
The best Landstuhl has to offer, great location, quiet, walking distance to the restored castle with overview of the city; within walking distance to the town. Highly recommend no
Location was great and staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were VERY comfortable. Lack of Air Conditioning...but with the cool night air and the windows it was still fairly comfortable.
I liked the staff, very friendly in the morning during breakfast.
Great staff, very friendly and they all speak good english. Very few rooms which gives it a nice bed and breakfast feel. Cafe has good food and great desserts. Reserved a suite and received a standard room instead.
Personal attention, willingness to help, friendliness of staff. Excellent breakfast! Very convenient to walk in town, private parking available in gated back lot. Attached to bakery which is also run by the hotel owners. Great family type atmosphere. Wonderful Wintergarten and I'm sure that the courtyard will be beautiful in the spring and summer. If we get hte opportunity to return to this area, we will definately stay at the Hotel Goldinger.
It is in a convenient location and has a nice German style breakfast. Staff was nice and courteous. The facility is dated and the rooms need renovation. Sound on TV did not work. Their focus seems to be on their Cafe and not the hotel.
The staff was so helpful and accommodating! Easy walk from the train station and close to delicious restaurants and fun bars!
The rooms were very large and just a short walk from the train station.
Hotel Goldinger is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at while in Europe. It is gorgeous and beautiful!! The beds are extremely comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and very nice! The breakfast room and cafe were beautiful places to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. Wonderful atmosphere throughout the whole hotel. The suite was overall comfortable and wonderful! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Great value for money!!!! It took a while to figure out how to close the shutters but my husband and I did and they provided a nice private room. Fantastic idea!!
Lovely staff. Adjoining a wonderful cake and coffee shop run by the same ladies. Excellent breakfast with freshly cooked eggs to order. Good value. Secure parking. Just a shame the coffee shop was only open until 6.30pm, however there were restaurants close by for evening meals.
Nice staff, fantastic coffee bathroom is very clean but should be renovated, the shower enclosure is difficult to open/close.
just toured Landstudl and Ramstein would recommend this hotel to any one and everyone
Very friendly and accomodating. A very nice little hotel in a quiet area.
