10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was like having your own 5 star butler treatment :-). An excellent experience from beginning to end.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This B and B is slightly off the beaten track. It is a conversion of some outbuildings of the Old House. It is amazing when you go inside. Like Dr Who’s Tardis it is much bigger than it looks from outside. The host, Matt, is very kind and a real gentleman. He carried my bags and made me feel very welcome. My room was large and had a walk in wardrobe as well as an en-suite. I had a lovely view of a meadow from my room. The breakfast menu is very imaginative. I had salmon which was perfect. The service at breakfast was top notch. I think that all of the bedrooms are upstairs so please check this if it is likely to be an issue.
Cons: Having to leave. I could happily use this as a base for a longer holiday.

On Tuesday evening we had the opportunity to eat in Vocella's Italian on Main Street, Longford Town, which was very good, and on Wednesday we had a really marvelous meal at the wonderful Viewmount House Restuarant. All in all we had a great time in a very comfortable suite of rooms, amazing gardens and stunning views close to the Shannon.

Pros: This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff were excellent, the room lovely, beds comfortable with quality bedding, mattresses and pillows, great towels,. The food in the bar was first class - we highly recommend the seafood chowder, the lamb and the crusted salmon. A lovely location beside the river and across the road from a bar which, when we stayed, had live Irish music. A great stay and we highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful location. Room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. A nice cosy bar with excellent food.
Cons: We had a room with a river view. There were beautiful flowers all along the railings of the balcony which unfortunately blocked the view. If the flower boxes were lower down the railings it would have been perfect.

Pros: Anne and her husband are very nice.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was welcomed with a cup of tea and some cookies, talked to the owner, Anne, and had a nice chat with her. She grew up in this house, there was a nice turf fire burning and was made to feel at home, she showed me where everything was in case I wanted a cup of tea or coffee when she was not there. Breakfast was great, again a nice turf fire burning in the fireplace. Nice homey taste of Ireland. Thank You Anne!
Cons: Room was small but fine

Pros: I enjoyed the homey atmosphere and the hospitality of Anne and Noel. They made sure we felt at home and helped with places to go and how to get there. Their full Irish breakfast is delicious. Our stay in Tulsk was special because of Anne's B&B!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Anne's. Everything was exceptional; the house is clean, you have your own ensuite, the bed is very comfy, a lovely fire in the morning and evening, there's a bus stop right outside the B&B, it's in walking distance to the Rathcroghan Vistor Centre (highly recommend a visit!), and within a 5 minute drive to the historical sites. Additionally, Anne prepares a delicious bountiful breakfast that will keep you full until dinner. To top it all off, Anne is a wonderful conversationalist and even recommended a nice walking route for the, surprisingly, dry weather. I will definitely be returning. If you're going solo like I did, don't worry, Anne will make you feel right at home!

Pros: Lovely friendly staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the attention given to us by Derek, the owner, and his friendly staff, especially the young girl who served us dinner and drinks. We have stayed in 4 B&Bs during our recent holiday in Ireland. This one we will stay at again on our next trip to Ireland. The typical Irish pub within in the B&B building was full of things to photograph. It was a pub frequented by the locals and it has a cosy friendly atmosphere. The full Irish breakfast with variations was delicious plus the fresh fruit made a great start to the day. Our room and spacious bathroom were adequate for our needs. This B&B is ideally suited for a few nights stopover between Dublin and Ballina.
Cons: Our stay only being 1 night. We had no time to see & do in the region.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had evening meal very good

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb breakfast. The best of the 5 b&b's on this trip to Ireland. Excellent location. A very short walk into the lovely village of Drumod and the railway station was 200 yards down the road. Derek was a very good host.

Pros: breakfast excellent. room excellent. minor roblems with toilet flush
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had heard descriptions of the Silver Eel last year and wanted to stay there. The property is ideally located. The first floor room overlooked the beautiful Grange lake, and there was a large terrace accessible from the room. The room was perfect, and far in excess of expectations. The room and linen were impeccably clean. On a Friday night the bedroom was quiet at all times. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The food in the bar was quite simply excellent. Dinner was of true restaurant quality. Wifi was very good in the room. There is ample parking beside the property, some of it within sight of the room. I would have stayed the following night if there had been a vacancy. The price is remarkably low. (There may be rooms that do not overlook the lake.)
Cons: I am unable to think of anything that could have been improved.
9.5 Excellent

5.0 Okay
Pros: No electricity the morning we were leaving. I totally understand this. So obviously I couldn't recharge phones make a bottle for the baby, or even dry my hair. There was no breakfast then cause there was no ESB. I asked for some juice and bread and few cornflakes for my 2 year old and I was told they had none... Imagine to be told that in a b&b.
Cons: The WiFi never worked while we stayed in this b&b. No phone in our room to ring downstairs for clean bed linen. So I had to put baby into buggy and lift downstairs to first floor to meet staff.. No elevator in this B&B. No private carpark either so u just have to find a space somewhere on the main street and walk back to b&b with buggy and luggage
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast and location and staff.
Cons: The carpets in the room was dirty and stained the bed bases were broken x2 and one of the headboards was broken, the bedside unit was broken, the chair was broken and stained, the curtains were broken the general decoration was poor, the wall was damaged, The Bathroom, the hot tap was broken the bath room window did not have privacy glass so you had to have the roller blind completely down at all times in order to have privacy
5.8 Okay
Pros: Food was good
Cons: Found a can of Budweiser in the bed side locker.
7.5 Good
Pros: Grand place the disadvantage is it’s separated from the the bar/restaurant,
Cons: Very noisy at night as I stayed weekend. My window was open and it was too high for me to reach so I couldn’t close it to shut out the noise
5.8 Okay
Pros: The price I had for this location did not inclue Breakfast but there was a lovely cafe near by which had a great Breakfast and the location was nice a lovely town with nice people
Cons: I wanted a nice place to relax and do some work but the room was not very clean the chair on the desk was so old and worn couldnt sit in it without a pillow the floors were very dirty and stained as were the walls just was not a nice room when my PA booked it for me there was a picture of the bar taps with my favorite Ale Galway Hooker but when I got there and ordered a drink was told there wasnt any so was not that happy
6.3 Good
Pros: Super location in the middle of town. Staff were friendly and it was easy to navigate the accommodation are. My room was very spacious
Cons: The quality of furniture and fittings in the rooms is quite poor and some items appear to be in bad shape (broken furniture). While everything worked ok, the place felt like it was in need of some updating. The rooms could have contained some information for residents, e.g. internet passwords, recommendations for restaurants in town etc. Considering it is competing with B&Bs which are generally very attentive on these types of matters, the room was a bit basic. Also the sound proofing of doors was poor. I could hear people in the hallways at night.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent
Cons: The room was very basic need some attention also the bar was very badly stocked and I had to look for someone so I could check out
7.5 Good
Pros: We stayed two night at jacksons as we were attending a wedding near by, perfect location with everything at door step, The room was very big and very very clean. The bed wasn't the comfiest but everything else was up to standards. Breakfast we got on the Saturday was lovely but just very slow service. Will return again.

Pros: Felt like you were staying with a friend. Just a bit hard to find in the dark but ask the local pub and they will point you in the right direction. Rose is a wonderful host.
Cons: Signage.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The B&b was spotless the room was big and airy. The bed was so comfortable. Bathroom had clean towels in daily which it stated in your welcome book. Rose was very friendly and always asked if we needed anything just to let her know. I would stay here again.
Cons: The only thing missing was a tv in the room. After a day of sight seeing sometimes all you want to do is sit and watch tv. Apart from that the b & b was spot on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rose was very attentive and kind. The property was well kept and inviting. We had stayed at several B&B's throughout our trip and this one by far had the best Wi-Fi! It actually worked. Perfection!
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: I was not aware that if I did not check before 6 that I would be charged €25 extra. Never heard of this before. ONLY got a txt re same @ 6.20pm on day of check in. I got phone call from owner of BB and she was very angry when we did not check before 6. Insisted we tell her exact time of arrival which was impossible to do due to unforeseen circumstances. Without any other correspondence just took €110(which included 25 extra) out of our credit card before we arrived to even see the place. I never experienced such bullying usually we pay on morning of departure. Bedroom was nice but breakfast was not. We had to make out own tea and no fruit and cooked breakfast tasteless.

Pros: The B&B is beautifully kept and is set in a small private development of houses from where you can take the river path to the Weir Lodge pub in around 10 minutes. We were there on a Sunday evening and the music was brilliant. Rose the landlady cooks an amazing breakfast and she gets top marks for ensuring gluten free options are the same as everyone else. Thanks again Rose. We also visited Strokestown House which was an easy 20 minutes drive. Great spot to take a river trip and then an easy drive to Dublin our next destination.

Pros: Staff lovely and friendly Leisure centre really nice and clean, showers very warm. Enjoyed the evening meal and the toast at breakfast was really nice. Nice size TV in the room. Beautiful seating area outside to sit out on a nice day.
Cons: Our room was very dated and could do with cleaning up as the walls in the bedroom and bathroom where very dirty. Also the single bed my son slept in was lobsided as there was a wheel missing off the bottom of the bed. Didn't like the scrambled egg at breakfast it was very watery.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Cleanliness ! The gents toilets at reception were disgusting, stank and were filty. They were unable to find our booking even after telling the the name it was booked under three times. The decor was jaded and old fashioned and the lift was worrying as it was very slow and didnt operate properley. The evening meal was very average with tough beef and not enough vegetables. Breakfast was only served from 8 to 10am and one other couple came down at 5 to 10 to be told breakfast had finished. The toast was not toast, just warm bread and we had to ask twice for our tea and coffee

Pros: façade lovely old fashioned house. After the initial chaos understandably it was a "match" day. I found the various alcoves and lighting very relaxing, especially from 10pm onwards. breakfast room very bright and nice, staff very polite
Cons: Entrance full of "cooking smells" fish that day - a big turnoff it was extremely busy, understandable but some younger staff not trained well enough, very polite but uninformed (managers problem not the server). Tables could have been cleaned quicker Breakfast very poor, felt it was cooked a long time, tea was stewed and when I asked for a poached egg, it came out on a plate swimming in water (a big turnoff) , no toast underneath or garnish
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Shower was lovely, good temp and flow!!
