Unusual house with a mix of new and old decor tastefully done. Good shower in modern bathroom. Friendly owner. Breakfast was put out at 8am and stayed out until late morning in a warm room. Cheese and yogurts were warm and coffee stale, when we eat at 10am.
Wonderful location in a real Almerian village. Completely quiet, with no traffic noise, but with the parking space necessary for the car. Very clean with interesting decor. We would prefer butter to margarine for breakfast!
immaculately clean hotel
The hotel is gloriously Spanish and the owners could not do enough for us and our 5year old grandson. The roads allround Tabernas are so narrow, although parked in the hotel garage, it cost 10€ a day and pretty hairy experience to get out.this is an observation not a complaint.
staff brilliant, food tremendous, total lack of english language a challenge-but fun. The beds were as hard as the road outside
Had most thing needed, bed, swimming pool. Thought 10 euros for parking expensive, otherwise you needed to park half mile up the road and walk. Customers need to be told difficult to find, roads very narrow and very little in the village.
Tasteful and comfortable interiors, very clean, friendly staff and owner, great value for money. Breakfast was included in the price. Parking is expensive in the hotel garage, but there was free parking in the nearby streets. Unfortunately no one spoke English at the hotel. Wireless internet was free, but only available in the pool area.
Very pleasant casa rural with good decor and facilities. Plunge pool and surround very refreshing especially in the heat of summer. Parking in the garage attached to the house was useful as street parking would be difficult in the village. We had requested an evening meal which really was very basic and unimaginative. Postre was a Pasturized Natilla served in a plastic pot. As there are a few bars and restaurants in the village eating out is a better option. Would recommend the hotel but not for food.
Very rustic, rooms all individual thanks to the artistic painting skills of the proprietress, an accomplished artist. Very clean, beautifully decorated, Very friendly and courteous, nothing too much trouble. A little hard to find, as although Tabernas is a small village, the signs for the Casa were difficult to find. We couldnt find a restaurant in Tabernas that was open.Had to drive to Almeria. Although we could have asked our Hostess to provide a meal, freshly cooked. But plenty of Cafe Bars which provide Tapas. You need to speak a smattering of Spanish as very little English spoken.
Nice hotel with country style decorations originally coming from Ikea:) Very very very clean and tidy. Warm welcome from the owners The city dies not have even a single restaurant to have a dinner, however the hotel provides dinner on request. I was really disappointed from the town - nothing to do, nowhere to go
Very Spanish, wonderful location, very quiet. You must take advantage of a massage and a spa bath on your stay, Quiet courtyard for relaxing. Very good continental breakfast, Try to get a 'room with a view', well worth the extra.
We loved the view and location of the hotel. Wonderful surroundings and wildlife nearby and very peaceful. Some communication problems with staff. Hot water wasn't available for a couple of hours our first day.
The location was in the mountains but had a fantastic view across Almeria. The natural spring water at 58c and the roman baths were amazing
The Spa treatments are excellent, the hotel has a slightly run down feel to it and the pool was closed when we visited. The location is peaceful and the food was good.
