The location of Bally's is great. Center Strip, lots of other casinos close by, monorail station, connected to Paris by walkway of shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and very clean (Deluxe room, Indigo Tower). Room was well appointed, but lacked a coffee maker. Several restaurants are new since my last visit. BLT steakhouse is highly recommended. Steak was excellent, service staff very attentive. The popover was fabulous! Typical price for an upscale steakhouse. Tequila Taqueria was very good, and I'm very discriminating when it comes to Mexican food! The carne asada was very tasty. Chips were good, salsa so-so, guacamole awful. But overall the food was good and service great! Sports Book is good. Located away from the main casino, but lots of individual tv monitors for horse tracks and other sporting events. Big screens for viewing sports events. Good odds offered. Great drink service, remember to ask for drink tickets when you place a sports bet! A food court is located across from the sports book, so if you're playing the ponies all day, you can grab some lunch and bring it back.
Casino could use some updating. Lot of older machines, kind of a drab atmosphere. Staff was very nice though. Avoid the breakfast buffet at Bucas Ristorante. Limited offerings and pretty bland. My friend ordered his breakfast off the menu and wasn't impressed either.
My friend and I decided Saturday morning to just take a quick trip up to Vegas (and to see Thunder from Down Under); I booked the room around noon! When we got to check-in around 9pm, the guy at the desk told us that the room we booked were all taken, but that we could get a free upgrade for the night. It was the freaking celebrity suite!! 2 big ass rooms, all tall windows with a strip view, a giant jacuzzi! We lost our shit when we opened the door, I ran and opened the long curtains, it was like a dream come true! The Hangover happened to us and I'll never forget this trip! We lived it up that night and I passed out in the jacuzzi at 6am, checked out at 9am and drove back to PHX
NOTHING, WE GOT HOOKED UP
I liked how it was close to the strip and wasn't to spendy
I didn't like the dirty wet towel on our love seat when we walked in and that I never got an email to check out of my room and when I tried calling I was put on hold 4 different times from 15-30 minutes each time
Location and facilities are ok.
The front desk reception staff was rude and unprofessional. We pay upfront for a better room with view and lock the rate. They decided to change my room, I ask why the hotel was not honoring my reservation and she just say that is what are you getting. Complete disappointment
I bought a king size non-smoking and when I get there it was not available. Very annoying this legal bait and switch they pull .
Quick Check in and quick checkout. Friendly employees. Nice location. Rooms were large and comfortable. .
The shopping tents and very small stores in the front. Made it look cheap. Wanted to stay Sunday night but was going to be charged $129.00 for one night extra. I felt that staying Friday through Sunday, I could get a much better price! Employees not informed about food court in the basement. Bally's wants guests to use there expensive Restaurants and hides their food court. No one could tell me the correct directions to Starbucks. Sent me all over Bally's and Paris. For the price it was ok. I felt that not being a high roller, I wasn't treated very well. Parking structure was crap! It was shared with Paris. No parking except the roof. Guess they want you to use valet and tip. I don't plan on staying there again. Old building.
Location on the strip perfect Great value
Dated rooms Not my favourite casino
We enjoyed our stay, overall! We were able to check in early, which was a big plus! Food both in lobby and bottom floor! Friendly staff, awesome house keeping. Great stay for great price. Centrally located on strip! Close your shopping. Definitely would stay again and do recommend!
Pool closed early. No fridge in room. Room need a bit of maintenance : paint and wall paper peeling off a bit on walls and under counters in restroom.
The pool was good.
The rooms are tired and old....for what was spent per night $$.
Big rooms! Great casino! Friendly staff.
Never received any drinks I ordered. Mattress not very comfy
The casino was more casual than other close by hotels allowing me to not feel underdressed in my sundresses and flats. It also connects to Paris casino without going outside- very convenient. Bellagio and Caesars Palace are just across the street. Tons of taxis outside waiting and ready. Hotel staff allowed me to get a room across the hall from friends.
The hotel room a/c wasn't running properly, but room was still cool. No fridge in room, had to use ice bucket. could hear road noise from my room, but my friends room across the hall was not in street and very quiet- just need to make request for quiet room if that is a concern.
I loved how nice it was and easy to find the rooms.
I had a problem with the wifi the first night and was on the phone with multiple people to get it to work which took about an hour.
always friendly people working
View from the room was phenomenal, room was spacious. Casino was entertaining. Location of Bally's was great, we walked to pretty much everywhere.
I think we just got unlucky. We stayed in a room that had key issues, we had to wait for the technician to let us in 'every' time. We used to wait in the room of the family who was traveling with us, and I could tell they did not appreciate the invasion of privacy. It got to a point where my husband actually left the door unlocked when we went out to avoid the hassle of trying to get back in (Very unsafe, but in retrospect I sympathize with him). On our way out when we mentioned this to the front desk, they were unapologetic, which sort of rubbed salt into our wounds. Maybe we'll have a better experience next time if we stay there next time.
The front desk woman that helped me was very kind, worked to get our room available and was friendly to talk to.
Great location, close to other hotels & shops. Has many choices for dining & entertainment within the hotel. Connected to Paris, so that gives you even more options. We had great views from our room, housekeeping ladies were nice, & room was kept clean. Easy access to casinos in Bally's & Paris.
Room service was terrible! We ordered one morning & were told 30-45 minutes. We were also asked how we wanted to pay. When we told them cash they asked if we would need change & told them yes. After waiting for 1 hour we called & were told it would be another 15-20 minutes. Finally 30 minutes later, 1.5 hours after we ordered, our breakfast was delivered! Then the guy that delivered our order tried to lie & say he didn't have change. When we refused to send him with our money, he magically found cash with his receipts from other orders. When we tried to call & speak with his manager we were told he was not available. The room next to us had a dirty room service cart sit outside their room for over 24 hours. We have stayed in much nicer facilities that we paid less for room service & received much better customer service. We could have gotten ready & went to eat somewhere in the time it took Bally's room service to deliver!
It was easy to find, and the parking was good. The overall experience wasn't terrible. Relatively cheap for the location. Check-in staff was very friendly. They waived the resort fee when we complained that our room wasn't ready when they'd told us it would be.
We got three messages (email/sms) that the room would be ready any time after 4pm. We arrived at 7pm, and was told that the room wouldn't be ready until 7:30 because the maid was still cleaning. After getting into the room the "cleaning" was not evident: There was a small amount of garbage on the floor in the corners (water bottle, head band, some papers), and the couch had obvious stains on it, and there was a light burnt out in the bathroom. We asked employees for directions while we were there: One sent us in completely the wrong direction, and one was a security guard who was obviously drunk. Nothing terrible, just a whole lot of not-great.
Rita at the Front Desk was great - no wonder she was the employee of the month! Location on the strip was ideal.
Had to wait 30 minutes to check in, with only two staff members at the front desk at standard check in time. Furniture in room was dirty and the shower was very small. Bathroom faucet knobs were difficult to turn on and off. Elevator lights and buttons did not always work.
Very good place to stay
Pricy for last minute reservation
The location is great and the rooms are very decent sized
The hard time all of us had with our keys and we have to change them twice as they won't work
The room was small, beds small and not comfortable. No refrigerator in the room. Bathroom not up-to -date. I Wifi not available. I will not stay at this hotel again. Expensive, and not good
Location and amenities
Front desk staff was consistently rude, unhelpful, dismissive and uninterested in providing the best experience for its guests. There are many options of were to stay on the Las Vegas strip, and I will not return nor will I recommend this hotel to others.
Valet staff were quick and friendly.
Shower did not have hot water for 3 days in my hotel room. Room service were very slow on getting extra towels, had to wait 40 minutes.
Jubilee room had a good view of Paris & Bellagio fountains. Night time the club music was crazy loud until 3:00 am!!! Hotel is dated w/ poor ventilation. I could not get use to the smell. Gym & spa are oddly located, kinda freaky to walk downstairs w/ empty shops in the mornings.
dirty rooms. Staff unfriendly
Self Parking Location, Happening part of the strip near Caesar's Palace, Paris and Bellagio. Walking distance from Bellagio Fountains. Very nice Casio and Food Court. Casio was always filled with great crowd may be due to lower bets. Bus stop for Vegas tours just outside
Distance from Monorail station, far from Luxor or Stratosphere. HOTEL ROOMS were RUNDOWN. Carpet torn everywhere. Bathroom was clean but light was out. Tub won't drain quickly. Flush has to be used 5 times for single use. Bedsheets with stained, sofa had cigarette holes. Carpet was torn and had black marks all over.
Lots of construction going on made for longer walks.
You guys really suck.....
Long line at line at hotel registration becuase only one desk clerk was available.
