The room was very clean. Don't blame the maid for the condition of the building. Leave a nice tip, because she's one of the working poor.
The low-rent casino in the lobby, with its stale smell of cigarettes. Generally the structure is showing its age. Lots of water was wasted in the shower, with half the flow coming out of the faucet, but I'm told that Las Vegas wastes vast amounts of water because it just doesn't care. This is Harry Reid country; they took billions to build a nuclear waste repository, and then refused to let the nation use it ....
Cheap, Cheap, cheap Located right off the interstate so easy access
HIDDEN RESORT FEE - it's only $8 but they did not tell us about it until after we checked in. Very annoying, its not the cost, just the attitude about not being straightforward with fees. The front desk staff was rather rude about it as well. The "resort" is a sad few slot machines and a pool and hot tub-- but they looked filthy. Did not swim. Did not gamble or even set foot in their facilities other than my room and have to pay that fee anyway! I know this is standard practice in Vegas but it feels underhanded. Room was clean enough but even my non-smoking room had a smell of cigarettes lingering in the air. During the middle of the night had someone shove some flyers under the room door. A little scary to hear some random shuffling at the door in the middle of the night.
Front desk very helpful and polite.
Didn't have shower curtain, phone, and two lamps didnt work.
Wonderful bed, crisp clean sheets, room shows wear but is clean. Good value for money. Very, very nice and helpful front desk staff.
Price, pool, proximity to the strip,
No microwave anywhere to use, beds are hard as a rock
Pool Dennys Casino
Smell Of The Room
The bed was comfortable. The room was clean, and the room attendants were very pleasent
Frontdesk staff wasn't very helpful, nor in a good mood. Also they weren't very helpful with suggestions, but great at shrugging things off. There was no hot water in the shower, it was really tepid at best. Toilets didn't flush very well either. I'd recommend taking your money elsewhere even at less than $30 a night.
The room has terrible cigarette smoke smell that's not comfort for anyone , no toilet paper in the bathroom .
Great value for a general purpose hotel. Its a little aged, but maintained. Room was clean, people were nice. The pool seemed nice though I didn't use it. Everything worked. I was just there to do business and fly home and it got the job done. Had some noisy neighbors, but again- can't blame the hotel for that.
This gripe is more with the city of Las Vegas- whats up with the walkway to the strip ending abruptly at a highway off ramp? Poorly marked, and maintained. It's a short walk but easy to get mixed up. Stay to the right (opposite the In n' out burger) side and follow the ramp down when going to the strip.
Clean room, bed, bathroom, sink area. I love that check-out time is 12pm because I love sleeping in. A/C is awesome, hair drier is included.
Door was hard to open (needed to kick open), smells of cigarette smoke at front desk, location, overall appearance of hotel from outside.
I liked the ease of checking in and the fact that there were eating establishments on walking distance. The staff were very friendly as well.
The bed was not very comfortable and I am very upset about the resort fee being charged. I had my own Wi-Fi, I did not nor did I plan on swimming, etc... I was there for a place to sleep and shower and I should not be charged for extras that I don't plan on using.
Staff have don't care attitude. Noisy , and casino was smoky
Don't stay here
Close to the strip without the high price room free breakfast and convenient bus locations to ride to the strip
Front desk employee's OK the one older man was pretty rude but the cleaning staff was friendly and did a great job.
The beds were comfortable and the hotel was pretty close to the strip
When we arrived, there was a used towel and a used bar of soap with a hair on it in the bathroom. There was no new soap provided. There was also hair all over the comforters, the clock wasn't plugged in, and the carpet looked like it shouldn't be walked on without shoes.
I loved staying at the days inn the price was great and the room was clean and comfortable had free breakfast at Dennys thanks to days inn ill be booking soon again
The Free breakfast was wonderful , the rest of the casinos should follow the act , R step up to something I would stay again 4 sure .
The distance from the strip but I didn't mind because it didn't take that long to get to where I was going N no time and I did most of the walking while I was there .
I was able to check in early morning :) i did pay a an early check in fee which was expected. The breakfast was decent, and it was nice to have a few selections.
There was no communication at the front desk. I was charged twice for my deposit, I was told I could come down to the front desk at 2 to merge a prepaid reservation with the prior night reservation, yet housekeeping was knocking on my door at 12:30 then the security guard at 1:30. I called the front desk and she wasn't aware of the notes in the computer until I told her. She was going to charge me a $15 late check out fee when I had another prepaid reservation for the same day. I went down to the desk only to wait for 30 minutes because my reservation from 5 am hadn't been received??? I was told it could take up to 15 hrs ... for a same day when check in is at 3 pm? I worked at a front desk of a 500 room casino, so I was very disappointed with the lack of communication from this small property. The room was extremely small and run down.
While staying at the days inn all of the staff were always polite and helpful, except maybe the one woman... but all the same had a great time.. pretty close to the strip.. and having DENNYs for breakfast was a plus.
Always clean when I return
Hard to keep the same rate when I return every week for work purposes
very satisfied, good price, off the strip but close enough for a 7 min. walk to get to. Denny's Rest. located inside, Staff service was good, ample parking, freeway exits close by. low ($6 per nite) facilities fee, new & big LCD TV, new shower stall, clean room, visible security guards. I would return back to this motel in the future if pricing stays comparable.
could have used a call to front desk to improve shower water flow pressure (when lever is pulled up for water for shower vs tub usage, only 50% water flow from shower head, other 50% of water still came flowed from main facet), but it was not a big deal, thus lived with it. had a ground floor room, sound traveled from neighbor on 2nd floor directly above; walking, moving stuff, shower, bathroom flush, conversing, etc. couple ladies (young) ladies of the evenings loitering around the motel but security did a good job of chasing away.
Very clanand the staff was very helpful
Excellent breakfast at Denny's included in stay.
The total amount including tax and resort fees were over $6 more than quoted. Get 2nd floor, people above too noisy - walk hard.
No hot water the morning we left. Tried to get hot water for over 30 Called front desk, said they would check On it. No reply no hot water... At check out front desk didn't seam To care or believe me that there was No hot water... Place is old and run down, suitable As a motel still. Rank smell of cigarettes in gambling Area. Denny's was good for breakfast... Overall a 8 for value.. No hot water total bummer...
I was greeted at the main entry by a strong odor of cigarette smoke as a cockroach crossed my path in the main entryway. The uniformed security guards did a decent job of keeping the prostitutes from loitering outside of the rooms and their pimp had to stand out by the curb, just off of the property. This was my 2nd stay and their rating is being dropped from a 2 star in 2012 to just 1 now. I don't plan on returning, and don't recommend it for families or non-smokers.
Good price and Denny's BKFST voucher.
Although there were many more gamblers not smoking that smokers it still reeked of smoke in the lobby area.
Like in an out across street
Construction above my room
easy to get to your car
air conditioning unit broke down at 3:00 am didn't, want to call for help at that time to move around rooms so I stayed, needless to say I didn't get much sleep.
free wifi, breakfast and ice
the room is smaller than you expected
the bathtub was clean but old and needed replaced because of the poor restoration work.
Price was good
A ways off the strip and noisy truck stops on both sides
Easy access to I-15. Free breakfast at the restaurant. Quieter area, so no interruptions during the night.
Small parking lot, hard to get around. So many gambling machines in the main area it was hard to find and get to the restaurant. Floors creaked and groaned in the hotel room. Bathtub is crazy tiny.
Free Breakfast made up for the hotel cost in away. Close to the Strip for people visiting the strip.
1. Noisy! There's a trucker stop across the street so all your heard were trucks all night . 2. The doors do not have weather stripping. If was wind one of the 3 nights all night we had wind drafts. Also without the weather stripping on the door it lets in a lot of street light. 3. Dirty! The carpet haven't been vacuum in a long time, the sheet had hair, and the shower had dirt mildew.
the hot tub, the king size bed
the bath tub was in need of repair, the staff was not friendly and attentive..they only seemed interested in just doing a job. when I enquired about the renovated rooms the front desk staff didn't know. the baseboard carpet was dirty. when you walk in too check in at the front desk there is an overwhelming stench of smoke.
