Rooms were dirty, ac wasn't working in one of the rooms, hotel smells like weed
lot's of noise
Staff was horrible, didn't offer extra towels or bring more towels the next day Breakfast ended early
Patio entrance to parking Nothing, firstly I've called them before check in to double check that our room will be ready at 2pm, we drove in early so we had to kill time. Once we got there NO ONE cleaned any rooms, so by 2:45pm they finally got a hold of someone to clean a room, once we get to the room the cleaning people were cleaning the room still so we had to wait with our luggage in the hallway while they clean. The cleaning lady was upset because she was rushed and started showing her tantrum by throwing her broom. We walk into the room and it was filthy, the kind of place where you know there are tons of crap under the bed, the windows looked covered in dirt, it was so small 3 people were cramped and you wouldn't dare walk around with no shoes on. It's far from the strip and in the gross area. DEFINITELY NOT A HOJO worthy named inn. Spend a little more and go to the south HOJO it's closer to the strip and looks much cleaner.
Wish I could have had a smoking room to enjoy myself a bit more inside the room.
Nothing to like about this place This hotel was small, dirty and far from both freemont and the strip.
Cost effective, not too far from the strip and not too far from Freemont, perfect central location if you have activities planned for both. There were a LOT of kids and families here, not the greatest place if you're two single lovebirds wanting to take advantage of Vegas's openness to young love and cheap alcohol. (Thankfully we aren't the type to indulge too much.) We didn't have a chance to stop by the restaurant inside, but they had everything for great prices and it would have been immensely convenient if we didn't already have food plans. Beds were cozy. It was quite a long walk from where we had to park to where our room was. The floors were old and uneven. Alright for sober strolls, a little tricky when tipsy! It was also difficult to get in coming from one of the directions. Shower was inconsistent with heat, but they were roomy. Plugs could use replacing, the one on my side wasn't strong enough to hold my charger.
They have bed bugs under mattress they have Roach's all over the hotel it's just a nasty place .. Prostitute's and pimps live here do not book for no reason at all .. Nothing to like about this place disgusting
GREAT HOTEL. FRIENDLY STAFF. AMAZING CAFE. ROOM WAS NICE AND TIDY. BED WAS COMFORTABLE. FREE WIFI. GREAT PRICE. CAN'T BEAT IT!!!! The sliding door in our room was a bit difficult to open. Other than that nothing at all. VERY CLEAN ROOM.
Price. The overall appearance of the building.
The rooms are old and dirty.
it is not on the central strip
Can't expect too much, great value for the money. No resort fees and just outside downtown. Squeaky bed
friendly and welcoming staff. awesome price. everything worked, nothing was broken. no roaches or bugs. parking lot was small, but we were always able to find a spot no iron in the room. thin walls and ceilings
Great value - can't fault it for the price. Easy to get onto the strip via the regular 24 hour buses that leave just outside. Everything was clean and comfortable, and no noise. Very satisfied with what we got for the price. No tea making facilities in the room. No fridge in the room. But really, for the price, I'm not complaining
It was clean. Definitely the worse transaction I've had thru kayak. When I arrived there I was welcomed with the 150$ (aka additional fees) according to the Super 8. Irritated by the surprise since #1. It's the super 8 not an upscale casino hotel or lot even remotely worth it. So I called kayak.com explained it to the representative that DEPOSIT was not on the confirmation email wth?! Surprisngly for once he rep agreed , apologized and said he's help find somewhere else with no deposit. Great! Or so I thought.... Not thinking about the fact it's Friday in Las Vegas I sat on hold for 45mins. After forever he comes back on the line and says ok we found a place... 10miles away another Super 8 in Nellis. So I have to pay 40$ + for a cab to not spend 150$ then placing myself miles away from everything I came for...No not going to work! So he says ooo I'm srry idk what else we can do. Upset from standing around for an hr I say WHATEVER finally and go into make my reseversations. Then Ms.Irma the desk supervisor! Tells me O no we canceled your reservations as soon as the rep told us to the $ will be back on your card in 3-5 business days. Seriously?! So now do I not only have a room 175$ in floating in credit limbo until it deposits! Pissed, I call the customer service like back. Of course I get some different guy who now can't even find the reservation with the confirmation #. I lose my cool after 15 more mins of idiots on the phone and an 100$ Credit offer and I ask to speak to a supervisor. Mysteriously she finds my transaction calls the Super 8 and my reservations are reinstated and Ms.Irma has recharged my card (without my card info she previously needed the first time I came in according to HER) and she acted like it never happened. 2hrs of BS for their mistake. It now Tuesday I haven't seen any refund from either parties. The rooms wifi was completely DOWN for 2 out of the 3 nights. The only thing close were wedding chapels and homeless people. It was an upset! The only thing saving this place was it was pretty dang clean for a hole in the wall!
The beds were comfortable room was clean price was unbeatable No breakfast and inconvenient location
Bed matters to hard.
Not a bad deal for what I paid for. Room was clean, staff was friendly zero and it was close enough for what I needed. I'll definitely stay there again.
it was affordable. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. I could stay there again. It looks like it's getting a little rundown in general but otherwise not bad.
Not much to like about this place. Stayed here while moving across the country. We had all of our belongings in a Uhaul trailer. We made our reservation online without problems and was surprised by the low rate because it was Easter weekend. $85 dollars seemed like a steel since most other places where charging $150+. We got what we paid for: 1-The walls are very thin, you will hear every word spoken in the next room as well as those above and below you. 2-The room was moderately clean except the bathroom where there was mold in the shower. 3-Don't expect to get much sleep in this motel because the beds squeak a lot and you will defiantly hear the neighbors when they toss and turn. 4-The television volume would not go up very high and the Wi-Fi was not working. 5-The parking was lot full of people begging for change who seemed to hang out all night making me nervous about my vehicle and belongings. I will defiantly not be staying there again.
Very clean & nicely updated. Good location. Courteous staff. Good price. Thin walls, could hear parking lot conversations easily. Pool was closed. Parking lot was a bit crowded.
The composed late evening staff solved several customer issues in stride.
Meet and hangout with lots of young people
Not really a whole lot. A group of people stayed up all night, being loud and obnoxious. Around 3 in the morning a man repeatedly knocked on the door. When I opened it a man was there, claiming he was staying in that room but lost his key. He seemed quite inebriated, but not in an alcohol or weed kind of way. spent the next 45 minutes looking for his key with the lights on. And hour after that him and another male walked in flipped on the lights and started talking like it was waking hours, but it was only 4:30 AM. Needless to say I got zero sleep here. Worst hostel experience I've ever had. PS It was 85 degrees in the room, with the a/c on.
I really enjoyed my stay here. Rooms are cleaned daily and thoroughly. The staff is awesome, being able to keep my luggage there for extra time was a big plus. Will definitely stay here again.
Great socializing, with a staff calling people every night to join for a beer, chating, or to go out!! Regular breakfast...
I was able to recall my hippie roots in the 60s in a commune in Vancouver at Simon Fraser University and hitchhiking around in Europe. I even managed to get this senior disabled body up onto the top bunk! Very much fun.
