Our first stay at Sam' S Town was a very good experience. The atmosphere of friendliness, comfortable surrounding and the family oriented setting will bring us back to this hotel.
Stay was very nice.Front desk very helpful. No issues !
We really enjoyed it's quiet atmosphere. It's not like the crazy hotel casinos on the Vegas strip. Staff was very nice and helpful. The price for food including buffet (when using players card) was great and a lot less then on the strip also. The price to stay was great too. Beautiful Atrium with nice water fall light show. We would stay again. There were only a few flaws which is to be expected anywhere you stay. The bathroom shower in room worked a bit weird when turning it in, but hey it worked. The curtain on one side didn't open (broken), but just tied that back. The servers in casino didn't seem to come around a lot, but that happen at other places we went too. So these weren't huge problems as it all worked out. Nice place.
great price nice rooms! There were no signs anywhere for finding the hotel check-in, and the place is huge. The kids found traipsing through he gambling hall every time we needed to get to the car very unnerving.
The food was very reasonably priced, employee's were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and neat. Atmosphere was great, good music, roulette tables were fun. Movie convenience. We were there for 4 days and did not get bored. We had a great time. I can't think of anything I didn't like.
Prices were OK, the indoor atrium is very nice and the inclusive movie theater was handy. Walmart is across the street which is handy for getting things such as water and snacks. Some staff was very nice, others not so much. Free shuttle to the strip. Beds were dated and uncomfortable, there was limited outdoor areas including the small pool. Limited dining options as location is isolated. General feeling overall that everything was OK but nothing was spectacular. Layout made it difficult to escape smoke smell.
Everyone in the family enjoyed Sams. Lots of different activities and food options. Easy parking and access. Great value.
The bowling alley is great. Very big and affordable. The hotel room was also larger than normal. Friendly and helpful staff. Above average buffet. Shower felt great. Pretty seedy place. The demographics were mostly of the local gambling addicts around age 50+. Saw several prostitutes. One time when we were going to our room there was a group of black men hiding in the hall under the security camera, obviously waiting for their girl to get done hoeing. The slot machines were 99% OLD machines.
Friendly service clean room quiet room comfortable bed Happy hour at the bar Great jacuzzi Not too crowded. Value buffets love the theater Too short of visit
we appreciated the overall atmosphere, things to do besides gamble... we played bingo with the "electronic"boards for the first time and it was fun... when we arrived home we realized we had left some "laundry" in a drawer in the room (516)... our son was able to pick it up before he left on Sunday (he was also a guest as well on Friday night). We have stayed here before over the years with our kids and mother. The bowling alley was nice, and the movie theater and pool when it is hot out. The last time we stayed here, in Jan of 2012 ,(my birthday is Jan 6th) we reserved 2 rooms with 2 beds, and my husband and I were upgraded to a suite, with a "walk-in bathtub"... this time we were upgraded to a king room, but it was not as large as last time, but it was nice. The price was reasonable back then. This time the price was very high.... The price of the room... in the past we have stayed here as a family friendly choice..and the price was good. I did book the room in Dec, as I had to wait to find out what vacation days I could use in Jan... (my birthday is Jan 6th) I would have booked sooner, but did not have a choice.
This is an excellent hotel in Vegas. It is not located on strip, but is not very far from it. Considering the rates of the hotels located on the strip and the service they offer, I think this one offers on par facilities. Of course, you may not get a super luxurious experience here, but you would be pretty happy with overall service provided. To sum up the things, this hotel is about luxurious experience at affordable expenses (compromised by the budget). Excellent value for money!
Sam's Town is a well maintained casino with friendly atmosphere that doesn't overwhelm you like other casinos. A great value with nice rooms.
Very comfortable and amazingly fast wifi. Not much for smaller children.
The rooms are nice and very clean. It is an affordable hotel casino. We stay there every year. Easy to park, easy to get to room, and staff is great. They just added a coffee kiosk with a free cup of Starbucks in the morning which is great. They comped our room for 4 nights and we are not high rollers.
Very nice room, smaller casino downstairs, prices and assortment for dining was geat, and local amenities close by. If you don't need to be on the strip, this is a great place to stay.
We liked the security check in at the elevators
Nice clean room with a very comfortable bed. YOUR GAMING TABLES ARE CROOKED. A $40 NO TEN BET PAYS $40...NOT $20. BLACK JACK IS CROOKED, DEALERS ARE IN BED WITH SOME PLAYERS. Our room was on the 14th floor and we could not access the internet. The front desk said we must call Cox Cable technical support. I explained that was the hotel's responsibility to do so. They refused and connected me to Cox Cable. Cox created a work order for the hotel to reset the internet on our floor. We had a "Do not Disturb" on our door, therefore, the engineer would not reset the internet. We called the front desk again and miraculously the internet started working. The next morning at 6:00 am we tried to check in for our flight home. Again, no access to the internet. The front desk connected me to Cox Cable again and they created another ticket for engineering. We had to go down to the lobby to connect to the internet and check in for our flight. Upon checkout the hotel charged us $2.00 for local calls to Cox cable. We had to explain the entire situation and finally they reversed the charges
The room was clean and nice The hotel was over run with Chinese tourists and the US Military. im ok with the military but not the Chinese. it took 40 minutes to get to the elevator due to the military and chinese The hotel was extremely under staffed where the no one would answer the phone. The valet guy was a jerk
Price is always reasonable. Older crowd so, it is not as busy, all the restaurants have good food. Three restaurants cover low, medium and high price points. Casino also has a good choice of games.
Very clean and comfortable rooms. Spacious and nice and clean bathroom.
the room Smell
Check in was quick and the staff was really nice. Very comfortable and cheerful room. First time staying at Eastside Cannery and we will stay there from now on. Only drawback would be if you wanted to be on the strip. Best part was I left my fitbit in the room and didn't notice until a hour out of Vegas. I called lost and found and they sent my watch by Fed-Ex to my house with no extra charges. I was very impressed. We only stayed one night and didn't eat there but we still had a very good impression of the staff and hotel.
Coffee vouchers and amazing coffee stand in lobby that serves Starbucks. Overall, hotel was pretty clean and comfortable. We're non-smokers from California, and ended up with a smoking room with our 2 young kids. I wasn't given the option to choose smoking or non when reserving the room, and woman at front desk didn't ask. Bummed. I understand that the casino would be a large ashtray, but not our room. Everything smelled like cigarettes when we came home. Also, don't expect any amenities if that is something you look forward to. We had 2 towels and soaps were in soap dispensers. Nothing else. Toilet and shower drain were VERY slow. The wifi took FOREVER to connect but once it connected it was fine.
Loved the rooms, great big soaking tub in the bathroom, floor to ceiling windows offer a nice view. The room service menu is fairly priced and good quality simple food. The location was convenient for me (I wanted to avoid The Strip) and parking was plentiful and free. There was plenty of visible security in the parking area and inside the property and key card secured elevators for guests. As a single woman, I felt safe and comfortable. I am not a gambler and I found it unpleasant to have to walk through the Casino to get to the registration desk, hotel elevators, and restaurants. There was soap, but nothing more in the rooms so bring your own lotion, shampoo & conditioner, etc. The beds were extremely soft which will appeal to some and turn off others.
Great price for what you got Needs to be updated
Would not recommend
Comfy beds, good housekeeping, fridge and modern TV and service. Test fire alarm blasted our ears at 9 am waking us and our child up abruptly. Horrible! Also not really family friendly.
Front desk staff was very accomadating Room had bed bugs
Great staff, cheap price, in-house laundromat and 24/7 restaurant, abundant security Older facilities
The coupons were a nice touch, never gambled till here. Small casino
The friendly staff The room I requested was unavailable when I got there. I specifically asked for a non smoking. Since they were out of non smoking I was assigned a pet room. It smelled like pet urine with pet hair on the floor!
Loose slot machines No clock in room
Cheap Heavy smokes everywhere and old place
I like the hotel, I got excatly what I paid for. The room was nicer than I thought and the staff here is very nice. When you first get there, the lobby sort has a smell to it. Mainly probably because of the casinos but overall not bad.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Beds were fine. No many amenities, but what was there was very adequate. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was inexpensive but good. Both air conditioning and bathroom plumbing were noisy. Both were functional, though. Not too many negatives. I was pleased with the stay.
be safe. mind your own business.
