Food was amazing and interesting! Two dislikes...the noise level was horrendous. On top of typical restaurant loudness from patrons, they had music playing as well and it was near impossible to hold a conversation. Second issue came with the family style dining option. Ordered the fried chicken and caviar and was told would take 45-60 minutes. Waited over 1.5 hours for this dish to arrive, while constantly being told it was less than five minutes away. Not sure if they forgot our order or kitchen backup but by the time it arrived we had filled up on other items. Ended up bagging it up and distributing to homeless people on the strip so it wouldn't go to waste.

Just a complete bust. I love David Chang but this is the 2nd restaurant of his in a month (MA Peche last month) that i would never repeat or return to. Everything I ate was benign and a dud. Such a shame because my first trip to Momofuko several years ago was memorable. Complete waste of time

Wonderful food and a very friendly professional staff. Well worth the cost which honestly is a bargain for a very high end casino/hotel. Well made cocktails. \n\nTry the tonkotsu ramen if you've never had a proper Japanese ramen. Oysters were exceptionally fresh for being from New Brunswick.

Huge fan of Mr. Chang - but my first Momofuku experience left me with a bit to desire. Especially the ramen. I've been following his ramen recipes for years now and this was my first time trying it at one of his restaurants... sadly, it was very, very bland. Even with plenty of Saam. No chicken (with baked) buns in the evening either. The karaage chicken in the dream bun was pale and a bit lackluster. I know this spot is new and hopefully this feedback will help them to improve the experiences of future patrons.

Coming into Las Vegas with much fanfare, this concept by David Chang fails miserably. While there are some interesting Korean-inspired dishes, the Koreans we dined with were not amused at how several dishes were butchered by trying for too much. The Family style lobster is a great case in point. How would you take a fresh beautiful lobster and batter it in a greasy solution that ends up making the lobster (despite the presentation) taste like Kentucky Fried Chicken...and then have the nerve to charge more than $200 for the dish? Ridiculous through and through. Please go rob a bank before you dine there, because you're not getting out for under $150 per person, even eating very little. ALL their family-style dishes cost $2-400!!! The Filet Mignon Korean style is $115, so this is a major Ripoff indeed. If you order cocktails before the meal, you'll wait for 15-20 minutes and they'll come to you served in the smallest glasses you've ever seen...NOT recommended...

This was my second visit to this restaurant because I had a reasonable good first time. However, my second time visiting on 2/27/2017 was overall awful. Although they do have delicious and memorable ramen and buns, their other more expensive options are forgettable and full of disappointment. On the menu, under entrees, I decided to splurge since it was my last night, I asked the server named Carlos, and asked him what did he like more the 'Salt and pepper lobster' for 108 dollars or the Wagyu Filet Mignon for 115 dollars and he said that he loved the lobster more so I got that. I knew that for the price I would be paying, that I would be receiving half a lobster. I ordered the lobster after I already order my ramen and shrimp buns but as the restaurant started to fill up, I was left sitting and waiting for an unreasonable amount of time for the entree. As soon as my entree arrived, I could see the half of the head of a lobster, half of the main body of the lobster, one large claw and several shrimp pieces that was fried in the same batter as the lobster. However, after diving into the meal, I noticed that there was more shrimp than lobster. This entree really should be renamed 'Shrimp and Lobster' because you get more pieces of shrimp than you do with lobster. However, the main problem with this dish was the batter that it was drenched in because I couldn't eat this batter. This batter was so full of oil that it was disgusting. All you can taste is the oil because it was so thick. Despite the bad batter, the lobster head and main body was inedible to eat. As I pulled the meat away from the head and body in order to eat, anything I picked up fell out of my fork because it looked like 'snot' instead of meat coming out of this lobster. Overall, I only ate two pieces of lobster from the tail (about 1 inch big) and 6 pieces of shrimp. Even though they omit the lobster from the bill, they charged me 30 dollars for the shrimp. It was still disappointing.

I knew about Momofuku during my residence in NYC. I never visited the restaurant there and decided to finally check it out when I learned about its opening in Vegas. As part of a birthday lunch, a good friend and I started with their steamed buns, one with chicken karaage and the other with shrimp. In addition, we ordered the chickpea and pork shoulder ramen. The bowls were not huge but the pork shoulder and pork belly ramen was topped with plenty of ingredients, which also included a soft-boiled egg, a slice of fishcake, and a thin layer of seaweed. I was so stuffed. My friend did not like the texture of her chickpea noodles and found it to be salty. Overall, the experience was great. My only recommendation to the restaurant is to ease up on the salt.

The NY Momofuku holds a special place in my heart. I was so excited to see it pop up in LV because I visit there twice a year for work. I sold the heck out of it to my co-workers and planned a business dinner. The kitchen had to be slammed and the communication poor because the food came out in random order. They were out of three items, no big deal but the way it went down was bad. We order one thing, and they came back and said they were out, we replaced it with something else, they went to the kitchen came back to tell us they were out of that as well and then it happened again with our last try. To top things off three of our entrees took so long we had to cancel them because everyone else had been done eating for over 20 minutes. Needless to say, I felt bad cause I hyped this place up so much. All that being said, what food we did receive was delicious! The pork belly buns stole the show.

Very warm service, make you want to come back..\n\nAnd,The food was perfection!!!! I was very disappointed with Momofuku. The dishes were not very good. We had the pickled vegetables and soft boiled eggs to start. I didn't enjoy the eggs at all but the vegetables were ok. We then ordered the Chicken and shrimp buns. The buns were not what I was expecting. They were served 'taco' style. The chicken was better though. We finished the night with Ramen and both of those dishes were well executed. We had the pork belly and chick pea ramen. This restaurant was more hype then it was quality. The servers were ok. Ours was very nice but kept forgetting what drinks we had when it came time to refill and our chicken buns were forgotten. We did eventually get them and they did comp that order for us. I probably won't go back there when I go to the Cosmopolitan. I prefer China Poblano for AMAZING dim sum/asian cuisine.

“You are in Las Vegas? You really need to go to Momofucu!” said our foodie son who lives in Baltimore, so away we went, expecting a knock your socks off dinner from a restaurant owned by a Michelin Star chef. We were, I regret to say, sadly disappointed. First, the “ambiance”. The décor is quite modern but the chairs, were, at least for our aging bodies, quite uncomfortable. The restaurant played heavy metal music at a volume that not only made conversation difficult, it gave my wife a headache. Now to the food and drink. My wife’s drink at $18.00 tasted like a sugared orange juice and club soda with a barely detectable amount of alcohol. We ordered steamed buns, me a pork belly bun and my wife a chicken bun. My bun contained a slab of pork belly about the size of a slab of Spam. Pork belly should have a rich, distinct taste; this had almost no taste at all. My wife’s bun was was appeared to be a fried chicken tender which was almost all batter and hardly any meat. I ordered the pork belly ramen. I am not by any means a ramen expert so I have little if anything to compare Motofucu’s with but the broth and noodles were tasty and filling. My wife ordered the Smoked Pork Chop XO, which started out fairly well until she got to the part which was hidden by the watercress; that part was almost raw. Looking around the restaurant, we noticed that most people were ordering appetizers and splitting a ramen bowl. Perhaps Motofucu, which I believe recently opened, is just going through growing pains and hopefully the food will improve. As to the music, it may be a “vibe” that the target audience for the restaurant might like but I am well aware of the fact restaurants often play fast music to encourage fast eating and turning tables.

I was a solo diner and enjoyed the delicious shrimp bun, soft boiled eggs, Brussels sprouts, and cereal milk/ crack pie twist soft serve wth cornflake crumb mix. The eggs are very good and would be good to share since they have a full rich taste from the salmon roe. The Brussel sprouts were super delicious with fish sauce and other seasonings. The shrimp bun was even tastier if eaten with Ssam sauce that can be brought to the table. The soft serve with cornflake crumb is as delicious as I remember from NYC's Milk Bar, sweet, salty, buttery and crunchy. My server was a very nice, helpful young gal. Came here during their opening week, so they may have been ironing out some kinks.\n\nIt appears that the tables up front near the bar is the whole restaurant, but the actual seating area is around the corner, with windows that look out over the strip and across to the Eiffel Tower at Paris. Definitely a modern feel - a bit on the noisy side, but nicely appointed. Clientele is a mix of people since it's in the casino, so you may be seated next to a family with children or people on a business meeting.\n\nFood was good, but on the pricey side. They have a modern take on Asian dishes, which was refreshing and provided some different flavors than what you might expect. We had the pork ramen and the cold spicy noodles, both of which were tasty and a good portion size. The pork ramen was a bit too smoky for me, while the spicy noodles took a few bites to get used to.\n\nService was a bit lacking for a restaurant at this price point. Our waiter made a few recommendations, but didn't seem to know the menu too well yet. My wife and I received two different menus, which took a while to figure out why we weren't looking at the same dishes. It took several reminders to get another round of drinks, and whenever we needed something, we usually had to flag down a runner instead of our waiter, since he was scarce. Again, since it was the first week, this might get better.\n\nOverall, a bit on the expensive side, but a good meal with a nice view. Romantic if you don't mind the loud atmosphere. Try to book at least 2 days out to get a good time.

The Shrimp Buns and Pork Buns were great . The noodles were good. Other items beef tartar, yellowtail and spicy cucumbers just didn't hit the mark. Music level made it hard to talk and could not hear the waiter. We had a reservation at 5:30 first people to be seated small line at door , we were taken to a table in center of dinning area asked if we could sit at one of the tables along wall , hostess said you will have to go sit at the bar and wait to see if we can move you. We took original table , wall tables did not fill up before we left. We wanted to try a few items then decided what else we wanted to get waiter acted like this was a huge issue and said it was better for the kitchen to have everything ordered at once. Instead of all the small plate/apps coming out together we got one thing at a time which was weird for sharing since Buns came in singles. Yes I would come back but only for Buns and noodles but would not be first spot to rush back too.
