If you are from the south, you will not be excited about the food. The food is good, but for people who are used to Awesome fried chicken for a reasonable price, $26 for o.k. fried chicken is eh
First time in Vegas and a good friend recommended that we eat here one night. Thank goodness we did! The food is absolutely delicious and I would actually recommend sharing as the portions are on the larger side. In addition to the portion size all of the options are mouth watering so any excuse to share and try multiple dishes is a no brainer! \nMake sure you add this to your list of places to eat when you are in Vegas! 5 star plus!!
Amazing food and service. The chicken and waffles are a must try!
Chicken is amazing with great sides. A little noisy and busy so glad we had reservations.
Third time here ... It is always amazing! Loved the spicy bloody mary!
We were very disappointed in the meal overall. I know it's Vegas, but $16.00 for two pieces of chicken, some watermelon and a biscuit was just a ripoff. The chicken itself had a nice, moist flavor, however the crust was soggy and the skin not crispy. Big demerit. Crispy, crunchy skin is a must for any fried chicken lover. The spicy watermelon was a nice addition but the biscuit tasted like it had been microwaved, slightly tough. Yardbird décor is attractive and the bar area looks like it would be fun for drinks and apps, because I wanted to say something nice. Oh and $16 for a glass of rose...really? Pass this one by.
Excellent fried chicken and side were very good! Thanks for making our anniversary a pleasant experience at your restaurant. Making the tes rvation ahead of time was extremely helpful and no waiting when we arrived!
This is our 4th visit to the Yardbird and is a all time favorite when we visit Las Vegas. Food is consistently excellent and comfort home food. Speciality drinks are 'dangerous', but wonderful. Everything on the menu is very good, and trust the server's opinions on quanity, and make it the desserts if you can. Butterscotch cake with Bacon Frosting was a great end to the meal. The timing of meals are always spot on, but a quick suggestion is to request the Salard be served as a seperate course from the Entree, and the pace of the meal will be better. Also, be prepared for a noisy atmosphere, its part of the restraurant ambiance, but does make normal conversation a little tough. Be assured we will be back the next time we are at the Palazzo/Venetian!
Absolutely best place I could have spent my Birthday . The food is so amazing and the service is always impeccable it is definitely a must try
Overall it was Great. What I expected and more. Extensive Bourbon collection at a good price!!
Wonderful place to have great food and enjoy great ambience.
VERY DISAPPOINTED. LOUD, waitress did not review menu, 1 page of food, 5-6 pages of alcohol. Food compared to Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel. ( Cracker Barrel has fried okra). Supposedly the thought is it is set up to share family style, heard this after the meal as another waiter told his table. Waitress did not not check back. Manager did stop and willing listened. Will not go back. The bar section area is larger than the restaurant. Good luck to the winner of Hell's Kitchen, Cheif Ryan........
Originally went to this restaurant in Miami. Could not wait to try it again in Las Vegas. Awesome place. Try the fried green tomatoes with bacon and pimento cheese. Great service all around. Surprised us with a dessert for our anniversary.
Our last and best meal in Vegas. From cocktails at the bar to the dinner of fried chicken with a side of green beans with smoked yoghurt the whole experience was fun and fab - would heartily recommend and the GM Stephen is a great brand ambassador
The portions were to big, it would be nice if there were a quarter chicken or quarter rack size options
Awesome ... Coming back soon!
Excellent fried chicken and waffles. Great service and very friendly and courteous staff.
Loved everything about yardbird! Sadly I can't remember my servers name but he was absolutely amazing! Everyone there was amazing. The food was superb too! Will definitely be a regular!
Yardbird was a great restaurant for southern cooking. We had everything from bone marrow and cornbread to chicken and waffles and ended with some peach cobbler to share. It was awesome!
My wife and I were in town for a no kid vacation and wanted some good home style food. Found it! Great food with great service. Would love to have one back in Texas.
It was a special occasion for my in-laws their 50th wedding anniversary. We received such special treatment and the food was unforgettable! Thanks to all everyone who went out of their way to treat us so well! You must eat here!!!
The brining of the fried chicken was wonderful. Bursting with flavor, the breast was as juicy as the thigh. Delicious cauliflower mashed potatoes and roasted corn. Drinks were awesome too! Will definitely re-visit on next trip to Vegas.
Everything we ordered was delicious! I can't wait for my next visit.
This is the best place in Vegas for brunch. The food is spectacular, great service and awesome drinks.
Overall great dining experience, nice work. I was pleased! #eatingwithchefsean @chefseanandre
From the minute we got there we loved it. The hostess was very nice and friendly. Our waiter was knowledgeable, offered some suggestions which we took and were so happy we did. The food was delicious. Overall a great experience. Impeccable service, you won't be disappointed.
Went to the yard bird after hearing about it on Hell's kitchen, assuming it would be good. It turned out to be great!! Staff was friendly and knowledgable, food and drinks were bought promptly and we were always taken care of. As for the food, it was simply to die for. The macaroni and cheese is life changing, and the swine burger was juicy and tender. Well worth the money and time! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the strip.
Perfect place to eat before going to the theater. A perfect selection of items to share , a good selection of beers and great service.
Must try! We ate here two nights in a row & I can say the meal we shared our first visit was hands down the best tasting meal I've ever eaten. We had the fried chicken, biscuits, caeser salad, fries & bread pudding. The chicken was perfectly breaded, seasoned & fried, the biscuits melted in my mouth (& let's not skip over the whipped butter and almost apple buttery berry jam they give you), the caeser salad was crisp, and refreshing, the fries were fries (we could've done without), and holy Toledo...the bread pudding. The cream, salted caramel\nSauce, sweet walnuts, words won't come close to doing the dish justice. Night two wasn't as mind blowing but it was tasty, too. Husband had the swine burger & I had shrimp and grits. We started with the BLT appetizer & a wedge salad. Ended with banana pudding. Delicious meal but we very likely wouldn't have insisted on eating here two nights in a row had our second meal been our first.
Great food! So filling and good quality. Great service!
The ambiance, service and food were all amazing. We had the shrimp and grits which hit the spot! The wife had the chicken and waffles while my daughter ordered the mac n cheese. Not a single dish disappointed. Ended the meal with dessert selections of bread pudding and vanilla ice cream, the bread pudding was one of the best I've ever had. All of the drinks were on point and the price was in my opinion, a good value. We had agreed that we would prefer to eat at yardbird over any of the fancy steakhouses that are in Vegas.
Absolutely the best fried chicken I've had in my 50 years of life!
Best place we have been on our Vegas weekend trip. Great service and food.
The Yardbird was a great find for us! We especially loved the fried chicken, and rate it up there with Gus's Chicken of Memphis, TN and Willie Mae's Scotch House in New Orleans! My husband was especially delighted to find out the availability of an item not listed on the menu, collard greens, he absolutely loved them. The cornbread was amazing along with the okra! We loved this place and will go back the next time we are in Las Vegas.
Outstanding food. The chicken was the best I've ever had; tasty, moist, crunchy, but not greasy at all! Salads were awesome also. Loved the fact I could order just one leg or breast or thigh with my salad.
Anything chicken. It is what they are known for. You won't be disappointed.
Loved the special chicken with biscuits and gravy. The fried blt with green tomatoes was small but tasty if you like pork belly. I don't. The biscuits and gravy was enough for two! Interesting flavors and presentation. Excellent service.
Great food! Fabulous service!!!
Enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. Chicken on biscuit was a little chewy and fried green tomato a little thick. Grits were outstanding. Next time will order chicken special.
Loved everything. Great food and atmosphere!
This was my first time eating here and I went because of watching the show Master Chef and I truly enjoyed my self. The food was tremendous and my server was sweet. I loved everything about it and can't wait to come back to eat at Yardbird. I posted it all over my social media and got a lot of people interested. Hope they visit when they visit Vegas.
It a good value for your money. The Lux Cafe is a much better value with a bigger selection.
Great experience. The service was phenomenal and the food was exceptional. Had the pancakes and biscuits w/gravy. Very yummy.
Great food!! Great place!!
You look at the menu & see the price of the fried chicken-yikes- but you order it anyway. Then you taste it & understand it is totally worth it. The best mac & cheese. Try the deviled eggs too.
Thank goodness we booked through Open Table...otherwise there was a 3 hour wait! The food was delicious and big portions too. Highly recommend the skillet cornbread and fried chicken! Server fun and knowledgable too.
Fabulous meal. Both the food and drinks were delicious! Our server was great.
We had the great pleasure of dining at the South Beach location-that was amazing.\nWe went in with high expectations. Not only did we elope the night before so we were still on cloud 9 but we were looking forward to another memorable experience as we had in SB.\n\nWe started with an uncomfortable table that included a small chair and bench seating. I asked to sit at a different table-pointing to one that included chairs with more support, explaining I had a bad back/disability. The hostess was quite rude and I didn't care much for her lack of compassion. We made the best of it, again focusing on enjoying our meal.\nOur chicken and waffles were disappointing. Chicken batter was soggy and not crispy at all, as described in the menu and as we had in SB. Waffle, under cooked, so the bourbon syrup just sat in the top.\nOur server was inattentive and disappeared for extended periods. We waited for and had to ask for water several times. I was never able to order another glass of wine due to the lack of support from our server.\nWe did not complain to management, paid our bill and left. The food was good, but given our expectations from the South Beach location and our special occasion, we just wanted to pay our bill and leave.\n\nThere are A LOT of choices in Vegas. It may be wise to step up the service and food quality for future patrons.
Love southern and this is a great option. Food was very good, limited menu but great choices.
The fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and biscuits were very good. If I am in Las Vegas again, I would ear there again.
Awesome fried chicken!
Food is always great in this informal restaurant with great fried chicken and biscuits.
This place was stellar! I'm a self-proclaimed foodie and certainly know my was around the Southern cuisine. This chicken 'n' watermelon 'n' waffles is a solid find! The hot sauce and maple syrup combination brings a sweet/savory bite with a kick. \n\nWe also tried the maple bacon glazed doughnuts. It was just enough sweet to complete the meal. I am a sucker for savory brunch but you can't have brunch without a sweet.\n\nAnd speaking of sweet, our server suggested a new off menu cocktail for my love of bourbon. Mixed with a smoked peach simple syrup made in house and garnished with a nice slice of prosciutto...it was the best cocktail I had the whole trip...amazing! \n\nThank you thank you for the outstanding service and the ridiculous food. We will be back very soon.
Completely amazing. We loved the drinks, the appetizer (mac n cheese...SO phenomenal!) the fried chicken, waffles and watermelon, the shrimp and grits...I can't say enough good things about those grits!! And the bread pudding. All of it was flawless, the best restaurant experience we have had as a couple...not one thing was less than spectacular!
We had a great experience at Yardbird. Food and waitstaff are wonderful. We were seated by the kitchen which was great looking at all the great food.
The food was great and servings large. Our waiter was very informative and made the correct recommendations
Went recently for Sunday Brunch. The menu is full of deliciousness! We started with the maple bacon donuts and they were to die for. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Overall experience was great. Great drinks and great food. Even the Macaroni And Cheese my 7 year old ordered, was delicious. The Service was outstanding. My water cup never went empty. I regrettably did not get the chance to try the fried chicken. The chicken looked and smelled absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend and go back if given a chance. Celebrated our 10 year anniversary here.
We absolutely loved this restaurant. Everything was perfect!!! The food was amazing, the drinks were great and the service was outstanding. The maple bacon donuts were to die for. We will definitely be back on a regular basis :)
Our server was well informed and upbeat. Menu items were delivered as portrayed on the menu. The chairs weren't too comfortable but the banquette was very soft. Prices seemed a bit high but it is Vegas afterall. I would go back if I got 'chicken' hungry...
The food was so awesome and the service was the best ever. I highly recomnend finishing your meal with the peach cobbler.
I went to Yard Bird with a business client with a 6:45 reservation. We were seated after 7, which was fine. After a good meal despite 2 loud tables on either side, our server offered us dessert and / or drinks. We ordered drinks which we were completing our meal with. At 8:15 our server brought our drinks and check telling us not to rush, he was just busy and didn't want us waiting on him. We paid immediately and were wrapping up the business at hand. Not 10 minutes later the manager, Chris Cruise, came over and told us we needed to leave, not relocate but 'leave' because he needed our spot for a table of 15. He would give us 'to go plastic cups' for our drinks. We explained we waited beyond our reservation and we wanted 10 minutes to finish our drinks. He reluctantly agreed initially and then came back over, slammed his hands on our table and told us to leave or he would call security. We didn't have an 'end time' for our reservation and his desire to seat 15 superseded the $204.00 dinner we just paid for and the customers already in place (us) -which was cut short at just over an hour. I was embarrassed, my client was angry, and the food, which was good, was overshadowed by this lack of professionalism.
We enjoyed this restaurant enough, but were not WOWED. The Kansas style ribs were good; the collard greens were under-cooked and had more meat than greens (not a plus at all for one who truly enjoys a good mess of greens). The biscuits were good but we had to pay extra for them ( they were not included with the meal). Overall, we were satisfied, but will not put Yardbird on our list of preferred restaurants.
Beautiful restaurant with amazing food and service! 5 stars!
Awesome food! Can't wait to go back...Enjoyed chicken and waffles with dark meat (my husband enjoyed the white meat). Biscuits were delicious! Collards were good. Peach cobbler was fantastic! Best meal I had on the Strip all week!!!
The food was excellent. Our waiter was great. He was very familiar with the menu and gave great suggestions. Our only complaint is we were seated in a row of tables for two and we were closer to the next table than we were to each other. It made it hard to hear each other talk. So I would recommend asking for a private table. Other than that, everything was wonderful.
Had a great time. Food was delicious. Service was great. Different than usual Vegas experience. Really enjoyed.
Love this place. Come to Phoenix. Chicken is amazing.
Was disappointed to be honest. The chicken was amazing and mac n cheese was good - I will give it that, but the crowd very loud, atmosphere was just ok, server was odd/very loud and seemed to be on aut pilot vs reading us as guests. The other food wasn't that great. We tried a lot of dishes - the watermelon and cheese was weird (I know it sounds weird but 2 servers said it was 'to die for' and the best app they have). The green beans, brussel sprouts, even the house special blackberry lemon aide were not good or just 'ok'. It wasn't terrible, but with so many dining options in Vegas, I certainly wouldn't go back.
Hands down, the best chicken I've ever had. The chicken and waffles were amazing and enough for two. The biscuits with jelly are also insane. The service was great except the cocktails came a bit late
Food was delicious! Husband loved the chicken and waffles and I had the best brisket sandwich I have ever had!
Yardbird is one of our favorite restaurants in Vegas !
Loved the food! Loved the service! Wish they had one in San Francisco!!
Everything about Yardbird lived up to the hype. The food was amazing and our server, Jerry, was great! If you choose to dine here, ask for him. He'll make your experience memorable.
Fun southern experience in Las Vegas!
imagine ordering fried chicken and there was zero crunch to the dish
At first we were waiting a while it seemed like the server in our area didn't want to help us. When a different server actsully did come we had our drinks in about 5 minutes the food was right behind it. We were shocked at how fast the food came out. I had the shrimp and grits, it was the best shrimp and grits I've ever tasted! The server was very knowledgeable and energetic I loved it.
Great southern food, particularly the fried chicken and the biscuits. The peach cobbler was also fantastic.\nThe shrimp and grits were good, but didn't impress like the other dishes.\nA great wine selection, with very high quality service.
Fried chicken was soggy and not close to crispy. Very disappointed. Tasted like it was cooked and sat in a hot box for a couple of hours. Usually love Gordon Ramsay. Could not have been more disappointed.
Love, love, love Yardbird! I have been to this restaurant at least 6 times within my last 3 trips to Vegas. 3 times in just my last trip! It seems to get better each time. The service is outstanding and the bar selection is above and beyond.
The chicken and waffles with watermelon was fantastic. The chicken was fall off the bone good and waffles very tasty. \n\nThe iceberg wedge was also very good and large enough to split. I also recommend the blackberry bourbon lemonade to drink!
The fried chicken and cornbread were amazing! Also, the artichoke pasta was fantastic. Service was top notch. We would go back.
Was my first time at Yardbird, my wife had been before and raved about the chicken. We shared a wedge salad and the half chicken, was truly fantastic and worth going there for that alone and never tried the biscuits but they looked amazing as well. Service was excellent, our server was i think Tanya.\nI had an old fashioned with an ice ball, i think it would have lasted the evening and was the clearest piece of ice i have ever had in a drink, very unique!\nlooking forward to our next visit, would highly recommend and a great location between Venetian and Palazzo hotels
Loved everything about this restaurant. The food was awesome and the staff was awesome.
The best fried chicken ever. Everything was good but don't skip the chicken. The drinks are also perfect!
Wonderful bourbon list. Contained some gems that are hard to find.
We ordered their specialty fried chicken, waffles, and watermelon. Everything on this dish was great and worked well together, especially the sauces. We also ordered the daily special, which was biscuits and gravy with an egg and a piece of chicken. The biscuit was decent, but definitely not on the level of the fried chicken. Good service and atmosphere
What a great staff from the bar to the table. Friendly and warm approach. Made for real Southern hospitality!
The food was great. We really enjoyed the ability to have something different from most of the other restaurants in Las Vegas. Attentive staff. The food is as good as advertised. You have to get the chicken.
Best fried chicken I ever had. Our server, Louis, was excellent.
Get the fried green tomato BLT. Amazing. Known for Chicken and Waffles. Get the deviled eggs. Most everything on the menu is good.
I'd recommend Yardbird to anyone that loves authentic southern cuisine. They take the delicious classics and elevate them to a level you'll crave over and over again. This is a definite stop next time we are in Vegas. Highly recommended. Oh, great Friendly service too. Nobody sounds fake or forced to perform their job. They all seem genuinely happy to be here.
Awesome service- very knowledgeable fast service
The management team, along with Danny the bartender were superb. Friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Food was amazing but not for those watching their waistline. Will definitely return on our next trip to Vegas.
One of the best brunch experiences on the strip I've had!\nI will be back!!
Best fried chicken i tasted after came to US. Crispy outside and juicy inside
My wife and I found Yardbird restaurant to be a mature restaurant, meaning that everyone there really knew their job - the business. Even though we thought the food was slightly on the pricey side for what you got, we felt it was still with the experience. Everything was perfect about this place, the staff was second to none, they were outstanding! If anyone wants a special dinning out experience, you must try this place and do order the beef short ribs. To the staff and owners, congratulation, you've really created something quite special here, which is what Vegas should be about. Thanks to everyone involved in creating a special great memory for my wife and I, thanks.
The food was delicious ( I had shrimp and grits, hubby had waffles and fried chicken) so yummy! Service outstanding!!!
The fried chicken was absolutely the best. The cauliflower mashed potatoes were a little dry and served warm, not hot which we would have preferred. One thing we would recommend if you order a cocktail, ask for it without ice because the cocktails come in regular small cocktail glasses but a huge ice ball cube takes up most of the space and makes this a very small cocktail which for $16 really was disappointing.
The service and food was top notch from time arriving and desk and being brought to our table. I can't wait for my next visit to Las Vegas so I can return for dinner!
I really wanted to try Yardbird since I heard so much about it! It did not disappoint!! It is so beautiful and the food is outstanding! I loved my short ribs and the fried chicken was great!! The drinks were tasty!! Watermelon Sling was great. And my Banana Pudding was a great way to end my meal. We are coming back!
It's rare to dine at a restaurant that truly is run like a well oiled machine. Everyone we encountered was genuine and embodied the true spirit of hospitality. Our server Ken was very well versed and provided truly friendly service our entire meal. He even had a nice dessert for my fiancé put together that was very well received. One of the young ladies bussing, Shaniqua was very sweet and attentive. It truly felt that everyone we met was nice. The Restaurant Manager Sarah was also a delight to meet and speak with. We had multiple quality conversations with her and our love for the restaurant only grew. She has a great attitude and it's very clear that she knows how to run a restaurant; food is a huge factor but hiring and maintaining quality staff is key. It was refreshing to witness such a high level of professionalism with everyone and of course the menu delivered a unique experience we will without a doubt return to very soon.
Absolutely delicious! ðð»ðð»
Loved it. The food was outstanding. Service was excellent. Loved the fried chicken.
The fried chicken is a must but everything was delicious. Great value on the strip.
The most expensive fried chicken I have ever eaten. At $35 for a couple of pieces of chicken I assumed that it would be the best I have ever eaten. It was good, but not much better than Popeyes and it was far greasier. The deviled eggs were very smokey and that killed my ability to eat them. The biscuits were excellent.\n\nIt has a comfortable room where I would return to when I want to spend my weekly budget on fried chicken.
Everything was absolutely wonderful! Excellent food and great service. We had a group of 6 people and shared all the food and it was all so good.
My friends & I were there for my birthday celebration. The food was great & the ambiance was good. Thanks for the wonderful service.
Great waiter delicious chicken
Was recommended by friends who have been in Miami. Not sure if it is being in Vegas or just being at Yardbird, the service was incredible.\n\nThey were very friendly, made great recommendations and checked up on us at the right time.\n\nReasonably priced for 2 people and over GREAT value.
The Yardbird Old Fashioned is a great drink and the Chicken and Watermelon and Waffles is a phenomenal plate of food.
We were there for brunch and everything we had was excellent. The server was very attentive as well.
The food is pretty good but the service is attrocious. The staff act like they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. Will not go back.
In a sea of overpriced, extravagant & oft disappointing food, this little gem was a welcome oasis of reasonably priced, southern fried goodness. Service was on point, friendly & welcoming from the time we walked in until we waddled out. Both the fried chicken and the BBQ chicken were perfectly seasoned and wonderfully moist -- get a side of maple syrup for dunking, or dip them in the honey with your biscuits. The biscuits were everything a proper buttermilk biscuit aspires to be -- buttery, flaky, and moist. Even the charred okra, a veggie with a reputation for being slimy, was perfectly charred without a single bit of slippery slime to be found. If you have room for dessert, the Hummingbird Cake (spice cake w/ cream cheese frosting) and the Banana Split were both big hits at our table. We'll definitely be back.
We have been to Miami location many times and love it. This is our second visit to LV location. Food was off this time; luke warm and no taste to it. Service good as usual and friendly. We'll stick to Miami location going forward
Great service. Food was so so.
Delicious food, great ambience, creative drinks. The fried chicken, green beans and- those biscuits- not to be missed. Highly recommend.
Waitress was very accommodating and friendly
Above average service with great comfort food. The chicken and biscuits were special.
The fried chicken and biscuits are must haves. If you are a drinker the hand crafted cocktails will not disappoint. For extra fun sit in the back at the tables facing the kitchen to watch all the food coming up.
Best meal we had in Vegas for the money! Chicken and Waffles cannot be beat! Great peach cobbler
Do not deny yourself of this food experience. Your pallet will smile from how well the many different flavors pop out of some of the most amazing dishes. Fried green tomatoes, fried chicken, waffles that melt in your mouth. The bread pudding, get ready to slam the front door.
Amazing! Highly recommend!
Love this place! Great, comfort food! Delicious Bloody Mary. We visit every time we come to Las Vegas.
Had one night alone before my wife and a friends group arrived in Las Vegas, so needed a place to have a good meal. I like southern cooking and love fried chicken. This is real southern fried chicken. Not big portions but a couple could split the chicken dish. The service was great timely and listen to my requests. Will go back.
Shrimp and grits... yaaasssss
This place is fun and YUM! We loved all four items we tasted----the BBQ chicken, skillet cornbread, shrimp & grits, and peach cobbler. Totally recommend!
All the staff was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious. We will definitely return every time we are in Vegas.
We booked a table for 6 but 8 showed up and the place was slammed. The manager made a big effort to accommodate us and the server did an amazing job getting our food out and cooked perfectly in short order. So grateful to the fabulous team!!
Amazing fried green tomatoes appetizer - also be sure to try the fried chicken
This was our first time at Yardbird and we will definitely be back next time we are in Vegas! The food was amazing and the service was great!
Yummmmm!! Delicious food. Tables are a bit close together which I never love but otherwise food was great and service was excellent
Awesome food and impeccable service. Look forward to returning. The fried green tomatoes were amazing, as was the mac and cheese and chicken!
The food was excellent, we tried the chicken and waffles and the biscuits. The portions were huge and the chicken was delicious. Atmosphere was nice and service was good. Would love to have gone back to try more dishes.
Louder than ideal in dining area, great food and good service. I will most likely return.
The food portions were generous. A single meal can be shared. \n\nThe food is tasty traditional southern comfort food. Bourbon is the speciality becerage used in cocktails and entrees. The food was very good but not great. We had the chicken and waffles with a side of cheese grits. The chicken is deep fried in pork lard. An alteranitive prep method in canola is available upon request.\n\nYardbird is a fun place to dine. The seating is close so be prepared to get to know your neighbor. The service was fantastic. Worth a trip.
Great food, fun place to have a meal, make sure to have the peach cobbler for dessert
We went for brunch and it was so good. We ordered a ridiculous amount of food, but ended up eating it all. I had the dulce de leche waffles with strawberries and chocolate sauce, some fried chicken with the honey hot sauce and the bacon hash. The fried chicken was really, truly, the best fried chicken I have ever had-- I am glad I took the waitress's advice. The waffles were light and sweet-- like a perfect dessert. The bacon hash was very savory. Everything I would order again. The atmosphere was fantastic. Rustic and modern decor. I would love to go back!
Food & Service were both great, the only thing that we disliked was for the price of $36 the portions should be a bit more generous for sharing as this item was listed on the menu for Sharing/2people(?).....the chicken breast, wing, leg & thigh were tiny.....waffle size was ok and 6 little pieces of watermelon......\nLike I said, food tasted great but ......get a bit more real with the portion sizes!!!
Delicious food, but the service was too fast...like they were trying to push out the door.
We always come back when we visit ! Everything we ordered was on point ! Waffle and water melon , chicken salad , kale salad , mac and cheese ..
Traveling from Memphis, I wasn't sure if Vegas could impress my Southern palette but Yardbird delivered! The fried chicken, ham & biscuits, watermelon salad & cocktails were everything this southern girl was looking for... Delish!
Excellent food-excellent service!!!! Best burger ever
Wow! Best fried chicken I've ever had...tasty, crispy, and memorable. I can still taste it weeks later. Coffee was good too!
Loved it. Food and service were fantastic. We'll go back
Good place for a casual dinner. Eggs + fried chicken w/ waffles are a plus. Service is great too.
Outstanding comfort food only surpassed by the management and service. Kudos to Sarah. Hands on professional. I would hire her in a second to lead my sales team.
We had a blast.
Very pleased with the food the service and the overall experience
The waiter was knowledgeable which was a plus unlike all of our waiters during our vegas trip
The food is great here but a little pricey. Would recommend if you want fried chicken!
The food is not worth the prices charged. You can definitely get a much better meal at a different restaurant at the same prices charged.
The signature item, chicken and waffles, was delicious. The server made a point or two to let you know that it was brined for 27 hours. It was juicy and the cheddar waffle was a great counter balance. But at $36 for the plate, make sure you finish or share it otherwise you are literally leaving money on the table. The Pantry at the Mirage offers a similar, also delicious, dish at just $19. \n\nThe service could have been better for such a high quality restaurant. There was a small crowd outside at 10:50am waiting for them to open and instead of welcoming everyone in, they simply ignored everyone until EXACTLY 11am. Even when entering, the greeting was lackluster. I felt like, 'You eat here because we let you'. Very hipster, very disinterested. \n\nThe bus staff made loud personal conversation while prepping tables, talking about living in the ghetto hood and not minding getting mugged for cheaper rent. Seriously? Perhaps a conversation about professional maturity should be had. \n\nOverall, not a bad meal. Perhaps the time of day contributed to the poor service. And my server was very polite. But at $50+ for lunch per person with a cocktail, and comparing other experiences during my stay, I did not feel welcomed and invited to come back.
Great staff. They asked if there was any special occasion and when we told them it was our anniversary they brought us 2 complimentary glasses of champagne
Fabulous! One of my favorite places in Las Vegas! Service was amazing, prices reasonable for what you get and the food is amazing!
Fun place with fun food. Packed when we arrived so reservation was a big deal. It's a cool take on southern food. I am from Alabama so think of food being 1) fried 2) low quality 3) large quantity. It was traditionally in many ways but food quality was much higher and they did a great job of exploring/adding ingredients to some traditionally items. Great meal. Loud place with amazing service.
Nice place very nice service they want the customer to enjoy.
Had fantastic meal with Brandon taking care of us...all I can say is everything was superb and service exemplary! We started with deviled eggs, wonderful to fried green tomatoes , incredible to short ribs, fork tender awesome to the fried chicken, perfect....then we had the banana pudding and that was just decadent....we live in Phoenix if they had one there it would be our weekly spot! Build one in Phoenix or Scottsdale!
My wife has eaten at the one in Miami and while we were in Vegas last week, she said we really have to go there...I'm so glad we did as it was the best meal I had in my 7 day trip to Las Vegas.
Server was very nice and attentive. Food was okay but very overpriced for what it is. Probably wouldn't go back.
Had Sunday brunch. Love it here! Darling inside and delicious food. Food quality as good as much more expensive restaurants on Vegas. definitely go here! Best bang for your buck in Vegas.
Love this place! Excellent comfort food, great service, nice beer selection. We come here every time we're in Vegas.
Food was amazing! The service was incredible, super helpful and friendly staff.
Julian was such a kind and thoughtful server--smile on his face the entire time. Such a pleasant and enjoyable experience!
Awesome fried chicken and Mac and cheese!! Will go there again.
The food was very good. My husband and I loved our meals and I heard our neighbors rave about theirs as well. The service was very good. Our waiter went through the menu with us and was knowledgeable about all of the options. He answered our questions expertly. The restaurant was VERY loud. I would not recommend this restaurant for a nice date night because of the noise level and seating arrangements for two. However, if you don't mind a vibrant environment, then this place is great.
Simply put, it's just damn good!
Loved the food, being from the south. The shrimp and grits, green beans and okra and fried chicken all excellent! Great waiter too from Arkansasp. And peach cobbler that you order early as is fresh made was phenomenal! Lots of food and big restaurant, fun dinner for us.
Yardbird is a great comfort food dining experience located between the Venetian and Palazzo. The have creatively handcrafted drinks and an awesome food selection. I will be back and our friends will be too.
Excellent chicken. Way overpriced.\n8 pieces chicken 1 hamburger 3 drinks and 1 dessert. $200.00
Great food and service
Our server was knowledgeable, fast, and friendly. Having celiac disease, I was thrilled with being able to have GF fried chicken. It was DELICIOUS and the servings were huge.
If you like fried chicken, then you really should come here. That is the specialty and that's pretty much all they have in the protein department. They have southern-based food.
Wonderful experience! The chicken, short ribs, biscuits were exceptional. Lovely server and gracious front of the house staff Bravo!
Yard bird is a must do each year when in Vegas. It is a nice southern experience with great food and service.
Sides with the chicken would be nice - mashed potatoes, vegetables
The ambiance was cool. Biscuits awesome!
Great place for brunch!
Food was okay but have had much better down south for normal prices. Overall would have rather went to other spots in Vegas.
Drastically over-rated. Shrimp and grits were very ordinary and the supposedly famous fried chicken was decidedly meh. You'd do better at Popeye's. \n\nBy far, the highlight of the meal was the deviled egg appetizer. Delicious.
The fried chicken and waffles were amazing!\nThe drink selection is excellent as well.\nMy wife had the BlackBerry bourbon lemonade and it was super smooth and delicious.\nAlso ordered their Ceasar salad. It is a great take on a classic.\nWill definitely be back!
Always great. Peach cobbler worth the wait. Low and slow chicken salad at lunch time always a highlight.
Too loud to have conversation. Server was great. Host stand was not engaged or paying attention.
Never again, they were overbooked and tried to force us off our table. Only time I have been told by a restaurant staff member that we needed to time our meal, and if not done we would be kicked out. Absolutely embarrassing considering it was a business meal. The free appetizers the manager offered did not make up for the rudeness.
Awesomely fantastic Austin the waiter was great friendly service our second time there within the last month and a half Home cooking down to earth food service you will not go wrong we will come back every chance we get thank you to the entire yard bird team. With less than two hours before closing the service continue to be great.
Great Service! Our server was knowledgeable and attentive.\nAwesome food! Ribs falling off the bone - the Chicken and Waffle dish - DELISH.
Make sure you try the Fried Green Tomato B L T. It is excellent and not what you'd expect. We also loved the deviled eggs. The Fried chicken was moist and tasty. The biscuit was flakey and so delicious. This is a great place for lunch, dinner or late night.
Waitstaff was outstanding and engaging. Food was delish! Strongly recommend to friends who are in las Vegas to try this restaurant. :)
Can't say enough great things about our lunch here this past Sunday! Being from New Orleans, I feel like I know what great Southern style food should look and taste like. This hit the spot! The restaurant looked great. The waitress was wonderful. Would absolutely go back.
It is true! The fried chicken was the best we'd ever had and the macaroni and cheese was indeed a delight. The highlight though was the bread pudding dessert - simply delicious and surprisingly light. Share portions and it becomes a valuable experience. I would have liked to have tried the shrimp and grits - maybe next time!
By far the best food I've had in a long time. I will definitely go here everytime I visit Las Vegas!
Great Las Vegas find. Has an inventive menu and delivers in food quality and taste. Cocktails are top notch, as well. Will not disappoint.
Awesome dinning experience. Great service with great food.
The food is outstanding. I don't eat fried chicken out but I eat it here everytime. The variety of dishes is amazing. The service couldn't be any better. Everyone made us feel very much at home. The only problem we had was that there was a convention of sorts going on and when we first walked in the noise level was incredible. But the dinner seating is in another room and it was perfect.
Absolutely fantastic. Great service, very knowledgeable waiter. Food was better than expected for fried yardbird.
Strawberry waffles awesome
The fried chicken beats any fried chicken I've ever eaten.
The fried green tomatoes and cauliflower side dish were amazing! Our main course was ok - burgers and chicken biscuits. If we had to do it again would go for appetizers and dessert.
Ordered the chicken and waffles, and was pleasantly surprised. A bit disappointed to have to pay $7 for four biscuits a la carte (I guess I'm in the minority, but I prefer chicken and biscuits to chicken and waffles, as I also prefer butter to syrup, anyway), especially when I was the only one that really wanted the biscuits, but they were good. It would have been great to be able to score one or two biscuits in lieu of four... The watermelon that came with the meal was a nice touch, even having a bit of spice to it. Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this place. Prepare to roll up your sleeves and dig in.
I was told that I needed to go here by a friend that has been to the one in FL and was blown away by it. He was oh so right! This place ROCKS! Fantastic cocktail creations. Comfort food that has just the right new twist to it. My friend and I just ordered appetizers instead of full menu meals so that we could taste as much as we could. Yes, I will go back next time in Vegas. Yes, I will tell everyone that I know that this is THE place to eat at. Looking forward to visiting the FL place soon.
If you want kicked up southern style cooking the Yardbird is the place to go. We love to go to the restaurant and get the chicken waffles and watermelon special it is exceptional. That's pimento sandwiches are also excellent in every time we go to Las Vegas we try to eat at the Yardbird it is excellent
INCREDIBLE!! The food was sooooo delicious. The service was fast attentive and great. But the food OMG!!
Excellent food at Strip prices and portion sizes. Southern locals will be horrified by the costs, but is anyone ever surprised by a $39 main like that on the Strip?
Food is so delicious! We had brunch, and I highly recommend the deviled eggs and churrasco.
The southern fried chicken was just like home. The biscuits were layered and flaky and moist and buttery. The green beans, get them! They had a sweet tart smoky flavor. And the lovely couple at the table next to us talked us into the peach cobbler. The puff pastry stick was unnecessary, but everything else on the plate was necessary and sweet and full of flavor and goodness. The ambiance was comfortable and homey and friendly. The wait staff were super attentive and James rocked as our head waiter. The decor was down home rustic modern and next time I'm in Vegas I'm coming back.
New Year's Eve dinner.\nExcellent service, attentive and thorough.\nFried chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned, not greasy.\nBiscuits are a little heavy.\nSalads are fresh, drinks just stiff enough.\nDefinite recommend trying out.
Food is always awesome!
Great service, good chicken dish. Wife ordered rib which was so so...
The food was really very, very good - especially the fried chicken biscuits.
Annoying siren and alarm from hotel. We were told it happens all the time. Gave our daughter a headache. Manager is great.
Cornbread is probably the best I've ever had - all the food was outstanding and the service terrific! Definitely back the next time we are in Vegas.
New Years eve
The food was so delicious, ate here two days in a row!
Good service and good food .... the biscuits and jam were delicious. Fried chicken and waffles were so good.
If you get the watermelon and waffles, ask for the watermelon on the side, or else you'll get soggy waffles and soggy chicken.
I had previously visited Miami Yardbird so when I decided to visit Vegas, Yardbird was again a must. The fried green tomato BLT is actually the best thing that I have ever eaten and would have platefuls just of this for dinner. Fabulous. The restaurant was relaxed and not formal, so perfect for a Vegas night out. Great service from an attentive and knowledgable staff. I can't wait to go back!
While the Yardbird was ok, it was not amazing. Of course we were hungover Southerners on New Years Day looking for our collards, pork shops and hoppin john. I suspect for those that don't have access to the real thing, Yardbird is a good substitute. \nGreat service and atmosphere though!
What an experience! The chicken was the best that I have ever eaten. Everything from start to finish (a dessert to die for) was out of this world. Can't wait to return to Vegas because this would be the first place where we would eat. Atmosphere was great and was definitely enhanced by all the servers that paid so much attention to all their guests. Thank you for a wonderful time.....
We love going here for lunch.. a little pricey but well worth it
OUTSTANDING food and service! A MUST when in Vegas!
Great food, great cocktails, great service!!!
The food was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits were bomb.com.
Following in our daughter's footsteps we had lunch at Yardbird. Making reservations was a good thing b/c this place was very busy for lunch. We shared the Fried Green Tomato BLT and it was a little bit of heaven - the base was the fried green tomato topped with pimento cheese and pork belly - delish! We followed that with Lewellyn's Fine Fried Chicken - this was by far the best fried chicken ever. Perfect batter - very thin and perfectly crisp - the meat was extremely moist. I will go back the next time I'm in Vegas for certain! Great glass of champagne too!
It was my friends 30th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate! The food was incredible and so was the staff! will be eating here again!
I think we are in love! The restaurant itself is super rustic and like nothing else around here. The food was incredible! We ordered the mac and cheese, corn bread skillet, Cobb salad and shrimp and grits! Mac and cheese is a must, shared between 2 of us. The salad is huge!! Shrimp & grits was super yummy, shareable but easily could feed 1. Definitely returning next time we are in Vegas to try the chicken and waffles.
Just okay. Had the Fried Green Tomato BLTs, Heirloom Tomatoes and Ricotta, and the chicken, watermelon and waffles dish. Under seasoned and the flavors were meh. I'm a big eater and was still hungry after splitting the meal with my bf, but wasn't impressed by any of the dishes we had to warrant ordering something else. The service was great and the ambiance was fun, but we won't be making a return visit next time we're in Vegas.
Great food and even better service from Tracy! Second time visiting and absolutely loved it. \nEverything was delicious - fried chicken, bone marrow, deviled eggs, biscuits, cauliflower mashed potatoes, drinks, etc!!! Can't wait to visit again!
We had Tracy, he is an amazing server. So funny and made our experience awesome. The food was delicious and I love the style of the restaurant. We will be back for sure
NYE small crowd. Drinks were good, chicken with waffles wasn't as hot as preferred.
Love the fried chicken and biscuits and gravy. We always visit Yardbird when we go to Las Vegas. Wonderful southern cooking
The quality and deliciousness of this food blew us out of the water! Going to be our new Vegas staple every time we come back!
Great southern food. Tried a few signature dishes. Great atmosphere. Nice service.
Good food , good value
Amazing food! The fried chicken was cooked perfectly. Juicy and crispy tasty skin. Biscuits made from scratch and jelly that accompanied was delicious. I will be back!!
We stopped in twice during my last visit to Las Vegas - hands down our favorite dinner spot on the strip.\nInspired southern favorites prepared to perfection and bourbon cocktails strong enough to put hair on your chest without the typical Las Vegas gimmicks made this a perfect escape .\n\nTry the fried chicken, but be warned - chicken doesn't get any better, you're going to be craving this long after you go home.
Perfectly cooked fried chicken that would make any Southerner proud!
Absolutely amazing food and venue! The entire staff their is some of the nicest and most professional I have ever experienced. MUST HAVE FOOD!
Food was excellent from appetizers to their peach cobbler, I'm from Texas & my husband is from Georgia and it's hard to impress us on fried chicken but they do it just as good as homemade. Hands down best southern style food I've ever had in Vegas.
The staff was outstanding, worked well together helping each other.
Great little spot in the Venetian for a brunch / lunch while in Vegas. We loved the originality of the menu and Ambiance of the restaurant.
Second time here...great spot and great chicken! Fried Green Tomato BLT is amazing!!
Love the place. Food is really really good. The chicken is flavorful and juicy!
Fried chicken was moist and crispy!!!! Excellent chicken, fried green tomato app was also tasty. Only thing was that service was only ok, up charged for a refill on an Arnold palmer and did not inform me on the refill charge. Otherwise was a good meal, but a little on the pricey side for fried chicken, but again it's Vegas.
Had the chicken with watermelon and waffles. Chicken was great but the infused watermelon and skillet corn bread were top of the line good.
Far too expensive for very basic food. Just a Disney like tourist trap
Great food. I would recommend the fried chicken delicious!
Went for a late brunch. I am a vegetarian so have very limited options. Was pretty happy with the pan cakes, coffee and grits. Very generous portions and excellent service and food. They have done very good salad options but was too full with way we have order.
Always spot on fantastic.... Always my go to spot when I have friends visiting Vegas.
This was our 5th time here, need I say more?
The Fod and Service was Excellent! We enjoyed Christmas lunch and everything was delicious- try. The chicken and waffles, what a treat. Great place for family and friends.
Unique southern dining. Delicious from drinks to dessert. Note: Order peach cobbler for dessert right away as it takes 40 minutes to prepare. The server indicates that this is family style dinner to share, however, the food is made for 1 person. Our table had 1 of each, as in 1 chicken, biscuit and waffle. The ribs was good but I would skip it. Get the shrimp with grits, it was the bomb. Anyways, we will be back.
Hands down good eating. Biscuits and grits is a Must.
Had been to Yardrbird Southern Table & Bar a few months ago and had their signature chicken dinner. . .It was awesome.\nUpon my return on Dec. 19, 2016 I opted for the Short Ribs dinner with a wedge salad. . .The short ribs were absolutely PHENOMENAL!! The ribs were exceedingly tender and the accompanying mashed potatoes, corn & green beans made for a most bountiful dinner. Would definitely recommend Yardbirds to anyone who likes good down-home Southern cooking!!\nBring your appetite, because portions are ample. . .
Loved this place. We could've ordered everything on the menu. Service was great. Food was great. Large portions that could be shared....I think she told us that but we wanted to try so many things.
We've been to the Miami location and was looking forward to this. Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment. Chicken and biscuits were dry, hard and cold. The bacon in the chicken sandwich was almost raw. Our service was rushed.
Wow wow wow wow wow. I picked this place for our Xmas day brunch spot. Incredible. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter named Benjamin and he got our mimosas Pronto! The menu is to die for!? We wanted to try so much so we ordered appetizers like the maple bacon glazed donuts (4 small ones, perfect for our party of 4!), the herb crusted Mac n cheese (plenty to share and so luxe and delish), and the deviled eggs (again 4 for our party of four and delicious). For my meal, I ordered the biscuits and gravy with one egg and bacon. The gravy was a sausage based gravy and it was sinfully sumptuous. My mom and my aunt had the two mini Virginia ham and cheese biscuit sandwiches, and my dad just went for two eggs and bacon. Everything was made to perfection. The GM came over named Andy and we had such a nice time chatting with him. He is from Mississippi and my mom and he were discussing Civil War sights she had visited while there! He was so easygoing and friendly! We again were so full but got complimentary desserts in the form of pumpkin spice ice cream in a small cup over a cake of some sort. Incredible! Then on the way out Andy offered to introduce to the chef who was standing right at the counter to the kitchen which is one of those visible to the whole restaurant! This guy was so friendly as well. And the best part of the whole experience was the running slideshow on the wall beyond our table of old school pics of great Southern rock musicians like Elvis, Bo Didley, the Allman Bros, and Johnny Cash. Please go to this restaurant. You will love it!
Awesome food and service!
chicken is the bomb and the pickled okra is really good too. i will never go back to popeye's chicken anymoreð
We are from the South and wanted to try the food to see if we thought it had great Fried Chicken and Deviled Eggs. We were pleasantly surprised at the great flavor and juiciness of our chicken and the fantastic deviled eggs! This place will not disappoint.
The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean with a friendly atmosphere. We made reservations and were a little late (Vegas rain) but were received warmly and seated right away.\nOur waiter Tom was exceptional, he offered his suggestions and our group of 4 were very satisfied. Tom took care of us. and was very attentive. The food was very tasteful and the beer Tom brought me after asking me what I liked was right on target. The dessert of bread pudding with the Bourbon chaser was phenomenal, we all ate it and sipped the Bourbon the way Tom told us to.....very pleased with our experience. We will be back.
Food was delicious. Waitstaff was great. Great atmosphere and music. A must visit for Southern food lovers!!
Our server, Ken, was great all around. Sat us down in front of the kitchen. While busy it was fun to see food coming out and the excellent work from everyone. Fried chicken and watermelon entree was great and different. Good all around. Like most Vegas restaurant higher on the price range but worth the experience.
The food is the best. I had chicken and waffles. The chicken was the best I've had since my mother died. The waffles were crispy and light and delicious. I can't wait for the next opportunity to eat there.
Overpriced 'blah' food. Nice decor & service though.
Went there for lunch and the food was so good, really a suprise for Vegas, we went back for dinner the next night. Smoked chicken salad, short rib burger, fresh biscuits, fried chicken, Kale salad all so good.
Fantastic meal! We ordered everything family style & shared. Possibly the best fried chicken I've ever eaten!! And the fried green tomatoes appetizer - to die for. I will be going back the next time I'm in Vegas & have already recommended Yardbird to everyone who will listen to me :)
Unbelievably excellent food. Don't let the 'fried chicken' fare scare you in the least. You've never tasted something so fantastic. The combo with the waffles can only be experienced to fully understand how wonderful this restaurant is. Lookout for the accompanying watermelon. It'll knock your socks off! Finally, the staff. They love working there. It's very evident in how they treat their customers as well as their coworkers. Just an all around great experience.
Fun menu. Loved the biscuits so much, we came back the next night and dined in the bar.
Get the Chicken and Waffles!! TO DIE FOR. Great staff and reasonably priced. Book it for brunch!
A definite surprised experience. Found this gem on OpenTable. Dining area is hidden in the back from the lounge/bar area. We had the fried chicken, short rib with grilled cauliflower (substituted for mashed cauliflower), kale salad and the buttermilk biscuits with whipped butter and apple cinnamon jam. All were excellent. The signature chicken was tasty and amongst the better I've had. The salad was fresh with a light dressing. The biscuits were phenomenal with the jam and the short rib was incredibly tender and flavorful.
This was the HIGHLIGHT of our vacation. Soooo good we came back twice. The fiod was EXCELLENT but more than that the staff from our hostess, waiter, chef, manager, ect. All treated us like FAMILY. An awesome dining experience! Coming back to Vegas for YARDBIRD!
Outstanding place for brunch! My wife and I rarely go to the strip unless it's a special occasion, but we've been wanting to try Yardbird for awhile. \nThe place is very open and inviting, with some seating as couches with small tables in the middle. I wouldn't be able to handle having dinner like that, but for drinks and appatizers, it would be fun for a large group, or a first date. \nThe food was amazing. Chicken and waffles, and biscuits and gravy with a chicken breast on top. Outstanding! Started off with the maple bacon donuts and a $17 spicy Bloody Mary-the bill for us was $95. Well worth it and not as expensive as I thought. The staff was excellent, professional and very knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommended.
What a great way to start our evening and holiday celebration. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and we took his recommendations ! One of the best places in Las Vegas we have eaten and will definitely return!!! The Food is crazy good just a great dinning experience. Congratulations to the staff !!!
Good, but not spectacular, take on Southern cuisine. If you are from the South, this place will not impress you. It is everyday Southern cooking that is overpriced in Vegas. The fried chicken was $26 and did not come with side dishes. No taste fusion happening here.
I'm glad I finally made it to Yardbird. Llewelyns chicken was definitely worth the visit; the cheddar waffle was an ok accompaniment. Mine was served cold - no bueno. \n\nI like the upbeat vibe of the place. Seating is what I call 'community style', so, if you're searching for an intimate dining experience, this is not it. You'll likely be seated side by side with your neighbor.\n\nService was okay until my server Tanya D got smart. Someone other then Tanya served my chicken and waffle. She was busy serving other surrounding tables, so, it took some time before she came back to check on me. When she finally made her way back to my table, I politely inquired as to whether the waffle was supposed to be served cold. Her immediate response - 'well, it WAS served a while ago!' I knew by her sarcastic remark that we weren't going to get anywhere with this. I just smiled and said 'that's ok, no problem.' She must've sensed her inappropriate attitude and response because minutes later she reappeared at my table stating that a fresh new waffle was being made. Said the chef explained that it could've been cold due to the cheddar cheese. That's fine Tanya, but the slick comment you made was rude and uncalled for. You could've just offered an apology and offered to bring a fresh hot waffle in the first place. I explained that a new waffle was not necessary because I would not be able to eat it. I noted that I heard what she had to say in her original response to me stating my waffle was cold. Once again, she managed to get smart. Her response, 'Well, one is being brought to you anyway!' At this point, I was ready to bounce. The chicken was good, but this chick was really putting a damper on my dining experience. \n\nThanks for acknowledging my birthday Yardbird, but you guys sure know how to make sure a birthday celebration is ruined.
Wonderful biscuits and delicious chicken for lunch. Great service. Beautiful restaurant. I'm a fan !
Love the idea of upscale Southern food. The chicken was a little greasy, but the mac and cheese and cornbread were delicious.
The food was so-so. My request for 'Bombay Sapphire on the rocks with olives' came back as a single shot of gin over ice--no olives. I expressed my surprise, and the waitress asked, 'Oh, did you want a double?' When the drink came back it was filled to the top of the glass but it tasted like they'd added sparkling water to the gin! Unbelievable.
Excellent southern food. Highly recommended. Good beer. Loved the chicken. Kids enjoyed as well.
The food is outstanding. Huge portions and the best sweet tea outside of the South!!
Amazing all the way around! Great atmosphere, top notch service and OMG that fried chicken was amazing!
The customer service was excellent. The food was very good, especially the fried chicken and spiced watermelon.
The fried chicken was fantastic! The batter is a complex mix of seasoning which is so flavorful but not too spicy. My husband and I split an iceberg wedge salad and the blue plate special off the lunch menu and thought it was the perfect amount of food for lunch. The wedge salad could easily be a lunch salad by itself. We ordered an extra side of the ranch dressing as it was so good I used it as a dipping sauce for the chicken. Delicious. The chicken truly was finger licking good!\n\nIn Vegas for the week, I ended up going back the following night for a business dinner, and it was just as good the 2nd time.
We had a great waitress who really new her stuff. The chicken is really good but I can't say the 29 hour brine changed much from just other places with really good fried chicken. The fries were fairly disappointing... No crisp... First set was only warm so we sent back asking for hot and crispy fries... Got super hot fries but still limp... Fried green tomatoes good. Good beers on tap... Pricey but good food so there ya go
Absolutely everything was delicious. Will be craving some of the dishes, can't wait to go back!
Wow.....No words can describe the incredible service and wonderful meal we enjoyed last night. Your whole team went so unexpectedly above and beyond for my family. \nA huge appreciation for JoJo, he has a fantastic personality and made us feel like we were your only guests last night. Thank you, such a wonderful night.
Fried chicken was good as advertised.
This is always a fun place to go. It is lively, has good food and great service. The vegetarian options are few, but if you eat meat, you will have plenty of selections. The food is hearty and 'home cooked'.
Group of 8 adults for brunch. Staff was amazing and accommodating. Food was over the top delicious. Everyone loved their choices. Shared appetizers were a huge hit.
My wife and i really enjoyed our meal here. The fried chicken is some of the best i have ever had. we shared the peach cobbler and it was really good as well. The portions are big enough to be shared. I also enjoyed the specialty bourbon cocktails. The next time we are in Vegas we will definitely be going back.
We had a great waiter who was really information and gave great service. The fried chicken was very good. We would definitely eat at Yardbirds again.
Food was delicious!!!!
So impressed! Dined with a gluten-intolerate person. Server immediately asked if she could get gluten-free fried chicken going in the kitchen! My colleague hadn't eaten fried chicken in 8 years and he went to town on the 4 large pieces of chicken brought to him. Would highly recommend the food and service- as well as customer service- at this establishment.
Fab menu - don't miss the deviled eggs!!
Excellent Customer Service
The food was amazing. It featured typical Southern cuisine with an artistic flair! All of the dishes were very flavorful and the portions are huge. I highly recommend it!
Second year in a row that my family have dined at Yardbird for Thanksgiving. It's the most delicious Southern Style Thanksgiving dinner we've ever had. Thanksgiving dinner included one glazed turkey leg, two fried chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, corn bread, string beans and cranberry sauce. I had a glass of merlot which was ok. Last year I had a Syrah which was much better but I didn't see it on their wine list this year. We also had biscuits with honey butter and jam. We had no room for dessert. Food was so good! Can't wait to go back again next year.
Great food and excellent service.
I took a customer out for lunch at Yardbird to discuss business and it was a very pleasant experience. As it was Vegas, the setting was quite noisy, but not unmanaged and to be expected. The food was great and our waitress was prompt and professional. All things considered, it was a great choice for my meeting.
Such a great Brunch experience. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Fantastic all around. The fried chicken is so moist and delicious. Will come back again for sure.
Food was very good however, would have liked a Thanksgiving menu option alongside the regular menu. But overall, would visit again
Food at Yardbird is amazing. We went for Thanksgiving as we didn't want to cook and we-are so glad we did. Fried chicken was fantastic. Easy to say some of the best we have ever had. Yes it was expensive was not surprised it's on the Vegas Strip & it's the restaurant the show Hells Kitchen is about this season. The portions are big enough to share. I had the Chicken & Waffles & Watermelon & my husband and son had the Shrimp & Grits. Both plates were huge & we all shared. Our bill was $198. Before tip. Witch actually is not bad for the amount of food we had. We had appetizer salad dinner & Desert. Would recommend & will recommend this restaurant & our sever Julian was so good. Very tentative to our table. Will be asking for him next time we go to Yardbird.
Lively, contemporary atmosphere, great for people watching if seated in the front part of restaurant. Food was just as good as the Miami location. Fried chicken and mac & cheese a must try. The biscuit and brisket also a great choice. The portions are generous and enough to share.
After reading some Yelp reviews about the not-so-great service, I was a little worried as we waited at the front for a while for someone to help us/greet us/take our reservation. The hostess was strangely preoccupied with some other people who didn't have a reservation, and it wasn't until a few minutes later that the manager acknowledged us and apologized for the wait. Not a dealbreaker, but not the greatest start.\n\nWhen we finally got to our table, our waiter was very helpful and friendly. No other complaints about the service from this point. As for the food: we started with the deviled eggs, and they were delicious, but filling. For our entrees, my wife had the Swine Burger, which to me was so good, I wished I had ordered it myself. My wife wanted more pork belly in the burger.\n\nI had the signature Chicken 'n Waffles n' Watermelon, and while I am no expert in Southern cooking, something about the fried chicken didn't sit well with me. The chicken itself was super moist, but there was some seasoning in the batter which was tasted a little odd and kind of ruined it for me. The waffles were yummy, and I devoured it all. My mistake was using too much of the bourbon syrup. \n\nI guess I tried to get my money's worth, so I ate as much of the chicken as I could, and ate all of the waffles. I immediately felt a little ill, probably due to the combination of the odd-tasting chicken and eating A LOT of super-rich food. We were so full and I was definitely not up for it, we skipped dessert. I almost puked after we left the restaurant.\n\nSo while I wanted to like Yardbird, it wasn't the best first experience. If we ever went back, I would want to try to some of the other dishes, but would definitely dial back on the quantity I consumed. I think that there's an enjoyable dining experience to be had at Yardbird, i just missed out on it on the first try.
Our reservations were for 4 pm on Saturday at the Venetian location. We were told when we arrived the brunch menu was the only menu available until 4:30 pm (at which point it would switch over to dinner). We were disappointed as it was rather late in the day for brunch but decided to order a few small dishes off the brunch menu to buy a little time. The fried green tomatoes arrived and the pork belly was incredibly chewy, it seemed like it had been sitting out under a hot lamp for a very long time. It was still good but so dry!!! Everything else was delicious from the crispy chicken biscuits to the macaroni and cheese to the bone marrow. However, nothing was temperature hot (and I'm not unusually picky about foods being extra hot either). Great place but it could have been better. Our favorite part was the butterscotch cake. Amazing.
Food and service were fantastic as was the atmosphere. Highly recommend Yarbird for any occasion.
The meal was memorable -- unique, tasty and surprisingly good. We will definitely come back.
2nd trip. Fried chicken ever time! Excellent. Peach cobler is best I ever had. Recommend. Will go again. Wait Staff super friendly.
Overall very hearty and lots of fun. We had Thanksgiving here and the turkey didn't disappoint. Can't wait to get the chicken next time.
Excellent food, ambience, and service.
My boyfriend a I travelled from Los Angeles to Vegas JUST for Yardbird, and it didn't disappoint. From the service, to the portions, to , chef TJ. Yardbird stands out. We can't wait to try the Miami location. Reserving through Open Table was so easy and helped us get a spot in this always pack spot!
Comfy, yet refined southern cuisine! Highly recommend fried chicken, charred okra, roasted carrots, banana pudding, mac&cheese. And for cocktails, southern revival and watermelon sling. Three thumbs up for the cuisine and the staff!
Easily one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. Every single thing we ordered was exceptional!
While the food could have been warmer you couldn't beat the creativeness of the menu. Food would have gotten five stars if it wasn't lukewarm. Management went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied. Will definitely make a return trip if we are in town.
I thought Yardbird was okay....but try Delmonico's - or go to Popeye's.........sorry...
As Southerners, we enjoy trying new restaurants with a Southern flare. We were really looking forward to this James Beard semi-finalist. We started with classic biscuits served with spiced apple jelly and honey butter. The biscuits and spreads were fine. We ordered pork ribs and short ribs as our entrees. Both were very dry. We requested extra sauces which were brought out quickly. The wait staff and manager were all attentive and very knowledgeable of their menu offerings. \nWe were given a dessert after my husband found a hair on his ribs. We chose the butterscotch cake with bacon infused frosting. Sounded like a great choice. It arrived ice cold with ice cream. The cake itself was dry as were the pecans. The meal was a little disappointing. Perhaps we should have stuck with yardbird and steered clear of the beef and pork.
The food and drink were fantastic! We had the chicken and waffle dinner. Thought the fried chicken was delightful - not heavy battered. The syrup was bourbon maple syrup - omg...so good! Added the cauliflower mashed potatoes as a side...because we had to. Yum!
The fried chicken and fried green tomatoes are a must try. The chicken was moist and flavorful without compromising the crispness. Also, the shrimp and grits was another dish that had great taste. The biscuits and jam were well done and good to eat with deviled eggs. We really enjoyed the ambiance and service was top notch.
If you like 'Southern' food - get to this place. First and foremost - the Lewellyn's Fine Fried Chicken is the standout. It is EXCELLENT !!! Other things that need to be tried, the Beef Sirloin Tartare (not really Southern.....but it's a great version of this classic dish), the Kitchen Pickle Jar, the Country Pork Terrine, the Shrimp n Grits, and the Charred Okra. All top-notch. Great cocktails as well.
We discovered this awesome new restaurant while walking down restaurant row. The fried chicken is amazing, the biscuits are drool worthy, and the Mac and Cheese was deliciously creamy. I also got the kale salad and that was great too! \nOur waitress was great, friendly and kept a good eye on our drinks and food. When I couldn't shove any more biscuits down my gullet she packed the rest up with fresh butter and jam. I had them for breakfast the next day! \nThe drinks were pretty spectacular too! The make great cocktails and infused bourbon. We tried the salted caramel makers mark 46. \nThis place is a MUST!!!
It seems like everything on the menu is a gem. Bartenders know how to make a cocktail. Best old fashioned I've ever had. Get something that comes with the honey butter!
Friendly but felt rushed by servers.
Yardbird has turned to be me and my wife's go to place to celebrate our birthdays! The quality of the food, the ambiance, the service, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff remains the same despite seen new faces. You should definitely include it on your food tour in Las Vegas!\nDue to the typical Saturday craziness on the strip, we were running late. So we called Yardbird to see if you wait for us and not cancel our reservation. Since the hostess knew that we were going to celebrate our birthdays, she told us not to worry because she extended our reservation another 30 minutes ... not a lot of restaurants are so understanding like Yardbird!\nOnce we got to the restaurant, the hostess took us to one of the cozy seats at the back close to the kitchen. She congratulated us for our birthdays gave us the dessert menu and told us that the dessert was on the house. This happened for the second time in a row!\nOur server came shortly after to bring the menus and offered us something to drink. We ordered the classic Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade (since I like drink a little bit sweeter than usual), the Southern Revival (since my wife loves the fruit and herbs mix) and devil eggs as the appetizer, which so yummy and rich to the point that my wife ended up scrapping the plate in order to get everything! We ordered the classic biscuits with fried chicken and jelly since it never disappoints in flavor and shrimp and grits as shared entree since we like their grits so much.\nOh man! That sauce on the grits was something else, it excelled the grits to another level.\nWhat I love about Yardbird is that you leave satisfied, never full to the point that you want to take nap, and with a big smile in your face after savoring so many flavors in one meal.\nThe highlight of the night was when our server came with a slice chocolate caramel cake to our table, the ladies who were seating next to us overheard that it was our birthday and bought us dessert. That's just awesome!
Perfect place for brunch. Laid back atmosphere, and a great value compared to many brunch spots in Vegas. But the food was the star! Signature chicken was perfect. The biscuits and gravy were to die for. Pork belly bacon can't be beat. A perfect meal, will definitely be back.
Juicy, tender, flavorful fried chicken with a crispy crust. Incredible. And, save room for the Peach Cobbler. Insane.
Hands down the best moderately priced casual restaurant in LV! The chicken was surprisingly truly amazingly delicious & so was everything else on the menu! I highly recommend anyone make the time in their busy Vegas schedule to have a meal here.
An amazing gem of of Southern cuisine. We read in the reviews about their friend chicken and were naturally skeptical - how can a regular fried chicken be amazing? Well, we tried it and it was to die for. We also tried prime rib and their amazing cocktails -- all worked well.
I've been a Southern Baptist my whole life and have eaten my fair share of homemade fried chicken at church pot lucks, but I can confidently say that the fried chicken at Yardbird was the best I have ever eaten. The excellent service puts this restaurant experience over the top. If you're staying on the Strip anywhere near the Venetian and you like southern food a visit to Yardbird is a must.
Delicious food, excellent service, and a wonderful ambiance. The chicken dinner was amazing! Light, crispy, juicy, and wonderfully seasoned! I could eat the waffle with bourbon syrup all day long! I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Vegas!
The food is great. Service not so great. The table we were at was a round table shoved into a corner. 2 chairs on the outside and my husbands back was literally against the table behind him were people were sitting. When we mentioned we would like to move to the waiter he said no your staying here- wouldn't even entertain the idea. He also got confused with the menu and said he got mixed up with his other job.
Drinks are always outstanding. Food, just amazing. Staff knowledgeable and friendly.
This was the night the Cubs won the World Series. Our reservation was also after a Private event. So everything was a bit scrambled, understandably so. The food was good. No real highlight, or oh my this is an incredible dish. I would suggest going to Yard bird in a group. It just isn't set up for a single or pair of diners. What I mean by this are the dishes - sides are large portions/ family style. You just can't try much of the menu unless you over- order.. That is what my wife and I decided to do..Anyway. Pretty cool concept, the food was prepared well. There are just way too many places on Springhill road that are more up my alley. But a fun, and safe bet as far as you won't be dissspointed, but also not blown away. Go with a group
This is my new favorite restaurant in Vegas. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. You must get the fried chicken and peach cobbler.
I love it! The chicken and biscuits reminded me of my grandmothers cooking! I love the decor. The special was outstanding, pan fried catfish! Get the mac & cheese. I'll be back again. Wish there was a location near Memphis.
Excellent food and service!!!
Excellent! Fried chicken was crispy not greasy and so juicy!! Green bean side was fabulous also. But the drinks.... southern peach is now my all time favorite drink! Great service as well.
Awesome food and great service ! Look forward to visiting every time I come to Vegas !
Had a GREAT time here! Delicious food! Great atmosphere! We visited for lunch. Highly recommend the fried chicken. My sister and mom, who rarely eat fried chicken, claimed it was the best they ever had. The spiced watermelon is a favorite of mine. Highly recommend the amazing Old Fashion which is made with bacon bourbon and presented in a glass with a crystal clear ice cube ball. Great presentation! The staff was very attentive and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
The fried chicken is amazing!
Three of us had the Yardbird chicken sandwich and one of us had the wings. The chicken was unfortunately not as good as we had hoped. The breaking was soggy upon arrival, presumably from the hot sauce and the texture of the chicken was slightly off, almost as if the chicken was microwaved at some point, leaving it to be slimy and rubbery. The fries and sweet tea were pretty good, but frankly, leaving three quarters of my sandwich left untouched didn't make me feel good about paying $20+ when all was said and done.
The fried chicken and waffles were okay. Gus's makes better fried chicken. Extensive selection of beer, bourbon and whiskey. Wine options by the glass were limited. The mac and cheese was surprisingly disappointing. Tasted like the stuff you make from a box (Kraft deluxe type not the original neon orange). The deviled eggs had that dry crust as if they are pre-made and sitting out for a while. Service was excellent. Worth a visit but wouldn't go back... the food didn't blow us away for the cost.
The food is Southern, so expect fried food...the macaroni and cheese side order was excellent as was the fried chicken...very moist.\n\nThe wedge salad was definitely for two people, so share. The biscuits were slightly dry, but had a good taste. \n\nMy biggest impression...the staff from hostess to servers, and bus people to the manager...everyone was very friendly and helpful...they even stood to the side of an aisle to let you pass before they continued moving on! Southern Courtesy.\n\nThank you Yardbird!
The food was ok, but the ambience was difficult to deal with. The lack of lighting made it almost impossible to read the menu, and it is a fairly noisy spot. It was almost like a deprivation of the senses. I was a little disappointed with the menu, it is a lot smaller than I'd expected. We'd seen the ad on the hotel TV restuarants channel and were hoping for Southern cookingg experience, but that was limited. Our waitress was great though and the food we had was tasty - just hard to see!
Everything about this place is legit..ribs, brisket biscuits, cornbread, deviled eggs, Llewelyn's chicken, peach cobbler. Best bday dinner!
The shrimp & grits were delicious and were the biscuits and gravy.
I had a friends birthday dinner last May and was blown away by the wonderful food and service. Our lunch last Wednesday was very good and our waiter was personable and helpful. We look forward to our next visit hopefully soon
I found the restaurant a little dark in lighting for my taste . I'm a huge fan of yardbird in Miami , so I was excited to go to this location . The food was great but the fried chicken on buttermilk biskets were not the same. Maybe not brined enough ? Biskets not the same at all . It was ok . The watermelon farmers cheese portion was very small ( a joke really ) three small triangles with cheese on top. The bone marrow appetizer was fab , we ordered a cheddar waffle on the side to eat it with because the toast bread didn't go well. Fried green tomatoes were consistent & good. Service very good .
The fried chicken was great i also had mac and cheese vermont biscuit and southern ceaser salad all were good eats and our server did a good job in explaining the menu...
Delicious as usual! The Ham Biscuit is amazing. Give it a try!
Great fried chicken! Fun cocktails! Yummy appetizers! Fabulous side dishes!
Food and service was fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit.
The service was excellent! Server was very knowledgable and gave great suggestions. Food was delicious, visually appealing and the best chicken we've ever tasted! It was my husbands birthday and the server made it very memorable for us. For a newer restaurant, they have all of the kinks ironed out and we would definitely go back!!! Can't recommend highly enough!
Overall.. food is good. Fried chicken was cooked well, just not crispy. Biscuit was generic & disappointing. \nBLT and deviled eggs were great. Old fashioned is surprisingly nice!
My Husband and I split the Chicken and Waffle dinner - it is plenty for 2 people. I enjoyed my dinner very much !!
Found this place on a whim on the Venetians website. Was excited to try it based on the yelp reviews and omg it was great. The fried chicken was so juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The biscuits were amazingly fluffy and the shrimp and grits were cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable as well, everyone was so friendly. I highly recommend and will definitely be back the next time I'm in Vegas!
Great experience, food was great especially the fried chicken
Not at all what I expected. This is Vegas-fake southern food. Can't even get a decent glass of ice tea.
Overpriced. Service way too fast !\nDelivered our dinner before we were half way done with our salads.\nIf I wanted fast food.....I'd go to KFC.
Yardbirds is fantastic. First, the staff is so friendly and engaging. Makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food is the best we've had in Vegas this trip! The pork belly appetizer was so full of flavor....We wanted more! The chicken was cooked perfectly, crunchy, juicy....simply delicious. The whipped sweat potatoes were so good, if Guy Fieri were here he would claim this dish came from Flavortown. We also had the Grilled Romaine Lettuce. Earthy, flavorful. The anchovy breadcrumbs on the lettuce brought the house down. We finished with bacon butterscotch cake with bourbon vanilla ice cream. You will be asking for this recipe!!!! Don't miss this...located in restaurant row!!!
I was not really impressed with the food. I was expecting the chicken to be a light golden fried and juicy. It was heavily coated, dark brown (too dark for my taste) and kind of tough. Brisket was nothing to get excited over, either.
Food was too exotic....would have been better that they kept it traditional or offer an option. Like the cornbread..they did not have a plain version with just maple honey butter. Instead hey had the cornbread with jalapeno and cheddar cheese. For the waffle, they only had cheddar cheese waffle.\n\nThe fried chicken was good.... expected it to be better if it was marinated for 27 hrs.\nThe carrots were odd tasting as it had cumin plus other spices and seem sour tasting like balsamic vingar was brush onto it. It would have been better just honey and butter.\n\nOur server was great...She was very helpful and took care of our needs.
The food menu is one page and drinks have 4 of the 5 page menu. This venue is better suited to drinks and an appetizer than a full meal. It is loud and food is pricey.
This place is outstanding start to finish
Best Restaurant on the Strip. Bourbon choices and knowledge should be cloned. EPIC experience!!!!!!
My husband and I ordered 4 items so that we could get a good sampling of their menu and it was a lot of food for us since the food is very heavy, however, we thoroughly enjoyed it and are looking forward to coming back. This would be a perfect place to bring a bigger group since the servings are family style. \n\nWe loved the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken, and biscuits. We are from the South and can say that this food is authentically Southern. Some of the best fried chicken and biscuits we've ever had. We also ordered mac and cheese as a side and it was good, not great. I probably wouldn't order it again and would try another side. For the southerners out there, they also have sweet tea although it is not as sweet as you get in the South. \n\nService was great and we loved the decor and music.
Just like the Miami restaurant. The Virginia Ham biscuit was so good. Really enjoyed the slow cooked chicken salad. The unlimited Arnold Palmers were decadent and delicious.
Vegas location. Service was just adequate. Still a favorite
Our third time to Yardbird. Food is fantastic each time. Excellent chicken and sides.
Best fried chicken and waffles dish I've ever had. Donuts were also delicious. Will be going back on the next trip to Vegas.
Food was fantastic. Our server was great. The only negative, and the reason they didn't get 5s across the board, is that they rush you out. Dinner was brought to the table within 5 minutes. Our whole meal was complete in 35 minutes. It was a Monday and there were empty tables. What's the rush?
Great decor, great service, great food. Loved the deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes BLT. Love that all the draft beers are from Nevada breweries. Our server, Sarah C, made the evening more special. The fried chicken lived up to all the great reviews. Can't wait to go bà ck.
Awesome fried chicken and waffles with watermelon. Will definitely return next time in Vegas. Highly recommended.
Delicious, juicy fried chicken and awesome cornbread. Cocktails are pricey but the beers are reasonable. Great casual atmosphere and the wait staff are supreme.
Great brunch! Love the family style sharing. Our favourites were the chicken & waffles, fried green tomatoes and biscuits & gravy
Perfect!!! Everything was great , the food was awesome!! Waiter was really nice and helpful and it was the best restaurant experience I had while in Vegas. Will be returning here each time I am in Vegas!!! Love Loce Love the food and staff!!!
This was one of the most amazing dining experiences ever. The service was amazing the food was amazing and the service was phenomenal. I highly recommend this restaurant to eveyone.
Had hoped for better. Food was limited and flavors OK but the deviled eggs a must. Noise was to much if looking for dinner and talking. I ordered the roasted cauliflower (don't) boiled before roasting but still mush. Staff was nice and stopped by from time to time but never asked how our meal was.
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME service and food was on point. Went early for brunch with reservation and seated immediately. Generous portions. The fried chicken and waffles is 1/2 of a bird with light waffles and superb bourbon flavor to syrup. The pancakes ('77 Elvis) were ' the best I ever had, dad' from my little expert. Sauce in the sausage/egg biscuit was amazing. Spicy Bloody Mary has BACON. The sign above the kitchen sums it up 'God gave angels wings and he gave us bacon!'\nWill return here on my next trip.
Had a pricey brunch here. Impeccable service. Loud.
Having been here once before I knew that I should share a portion of Fried Chicken with my daughter. This allowed us to also have some Deviled Eggs and Mac 'N Cheese. The service was attentive without hovering. Overall a very nice meal.
Overpriced, and not very flavorful comfort food. The desserts are designed for kids with too many taste senses presented !
The Fired Chicken was fantastic, the Fried Green Tomatoes, Pimento Cheese and Pork Belly Stack was amazing, the Bourbon Maple Syrup was surprisingly good. Overall the food was outstanding.
Great ambiance and unique food selection which the server was well versed on. The best deviled eggs I've ever had...
Overall good experience. The food was o.k., not amazing, BUT the peach cobbler saved the day. If you do not get anything else, order it by itself.
The General Manager Scott made sure to visit our table to give us personal attention. He truly cares if our dining experience is pleasant. Food was delicious as always!
Amazing place and people. If I could give this place 20 stars I would. My waiter and the manager were like the best people ever
chicken moist; roasted okra and spiced watermelon were killer!
Everything was tasty but the warm cheese and watermelon....the melon could've been a lil colder and much sweeter.
Loved this place. The fired chicken is all it is advertised to be. If you are dining alone, watch out for the sides - they are definitely family size. Great beer selection. Good local drafts. Service was outstanding! Thanks for that, Mandy.
Do not leave here without having an order of the homemade biscuits. They are amazing. The fried chicken was delicious. The brisket on the other hand was just ok. It was sliced very thin. It reminded me of roast beef. Overall, food was good. Next time I will pass on the brisket
Heard about Yardbird on tv show Masterchief. Had to try it while i was in town. Came for the fried chicken but chose Shrimp and grits. The food was awesome. The service staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the resturant.
A must stop for great Southern Fried Chicken. Cannot say enough about how juicy and tender their chicken is.. Dont forget to order the deviled eggs. To die for... Accompany your meal with their Blackberry Bourbon lemonade.. Its just a great food and drink place.
Amazing food, great atmosphere & superior service.\n\nChicken Waffles & Watermelon is the signature dish and well worth a visit.
Great spot in Vegas, but order in waves - they sort of rush the food out to you if you order all at one time. We waited between courses to order more food and are glad we did so we could enjoy a more leisurely meal. Highly recommend.
The fried chicken was so worth it. I can't wait to go back to Vegas I will be at Yardbird.
service was soooo slow... our table had to flag down anyone so they can go get our waiter
We went for dinner and mentioned my mom had a birthday tomorrow and they surprised us with the most delicious red velvet cheesecake. The fried chicken and waffles were amazing as well as the smoked chicken.
Hubby and I went here for brunch one morning on our annual LV trip. Our server kindly pointed out all of the items that are gluten free. They CAN do fried chicken gluten free upon request--it just takes about 30 minutes. I was too hungry to wait that long, but I was perfectly happy with my choices. The deviled eggs are a MUST--we made them disappear so quickly our server came to check on us and told us our eggs would be out soon--but we had already eaten them--haha! Shrimp and grits were on point. Tried my husband's watermelon that came with the chicken and waffles--unreal. He said the fried chicken was the best he's ever had--extremely moist/juicy, flavorful and lightly crisp. Loved the decor too.
Our meal was terrific! The chicken and waffles were incredible and the service was excellent. Make sure to try their cocktails.
I still cant believe i finished thewhole plate
I love this place! I've had the pleasure of dining at both the Miami & Las Vegas locations & everything was consistent.
Great brunch menu. Best Bloody Mary...their own crafted version. Peach cobbler to die for,
As a resident of South Carolina I can honestly say it's the real deal, authentic southern food, and done at its finest! Some of the BEST southern food I have ever eaten, and I live in the South!! Amazing service, you must try this place!
The biscuits with the Virginia Ham and cheese were off the charts along with the fried chicken.
The food/chicken at Yard Bird is delicious.\nAbsolutely the best fried chicken I have ever had! \nService and atmosphere was great, too.\nBe sure to make reservations.
The best of the best...food is great, service and the atmosphere. I will definitely visit this place again when I visit Vegas.
Nice place to have dinner tasting extremely nice Southern food; attentive service.\nIt is not cheap, but I d not consider the bill abusive, taking into account the overall quality
This place has the best food. I loved the deviled eggs. The chicken and waffles is to die for. The peach cobbler was excellent.
This is second time I have been to this place. Excellent food. The chicken and waffles were fantastic
I was so impressed with the service and the food. The food was so fresh and was one of the best meals I have ever had. I ordered the Brisket Sandwhich at brunch and the flavours were so amazing. The fries that were served with it were outstanding too - perfectly seasoned and crispy. My husband ordered the Backn Hash with poached eggs - the best, freshest tasting eggs him and I have both tried. \n\nOur server was so lovely and knew everything about the menu. I also couldn't believe how fast our food came out. We didn't even wait 5 minutes and our food was brought to us. \n\nThe only thing I didn't enjoy to the fullest was the ambiance. I wanted to have a bright, nice brunch but the restaurant had a dark night time vibe to it. Not that there is anything wrong with that - the place was beautiful, just not what I was expecting for brunch time.
Great restaurant! Went there to celebrate my marriage and they brought our table champagne on the house. Top Notch!
We loved this place so much that had to go back again in the same week. The chicken is phenomenal!
I had a great time and the food and ambiance were GREAT!!!
Literally the best service I've experienced in a long time! From the girls seating us, to the man who was constantly checking on us-and who helped carry our drinks and apps to our table. Our waiter was the cherry on top! I wish I remembered his name, but he was amazing!
LOVED this place! The food was absolutely delicious. Make sure to get the classic buttermilk biscuits and the fried chicken. Can't wait to go back.
Special take on Southern food. A taste treat and the best chicken I have ever had. The chicken and waffle is a must eat coming from a person who doesn't eat chicken and waffles.
Yardbird is a great place to take your friends to catch up and have a drink. If you like sweet drinks I would recommend the southern peach and for those who like their drinks stronger, the watermelon sling. My friend and I enjoyed the fried green tomato BLT. But would pass on the swine burger on our next visit. The patty was nice and juicy but the pork belly just went a little over the top and made the experience of eating the burger a greasy mess. The waffle from the chicken n' watermelon n' waffles is by far the best in town! Service was exceptional as the restaurant was packed with convention attendees. I would like to thank Rebecca for her excellent customer service!
Amazing experience and great service. Shrimp and grits, followed recommendations from my server, simply perfect
Great food awesome service !
Best chicken and waffles I've ever had! Great execution on southern cuisine. Outstanding service as well.
Better than expected, very fast service. \nWill definitely go back.
I love this place I've been 3 times now and I've never been disappointed . \nFood and service is super
Excellent food for a North Carolina family!
Went here for drinks and appetizers The staff was very attentive and the ambience was warm and comfortable. I asked the waiter to bring us his top favorite dishes and was really happy with his choices. Chicken + waffles were great as were the brisket sliders.
Best Southern food! Everything from the biscuits to the main entree are delicious! The cocktail list is fun too! This is one of our favorite places to dine. Yardbirds is a must when visiting Las Vegas!
A fun new place to try some really yummy Southern-style food and great bourbon cocktails. The fried green tomato BLT was superb! Many choices on the menu from the appetizers to main entrees. Definitely save room for dessert! Service was very good. The restaurant managers were very engaging and attentive. We would highly recommend Yardbird Southern Table and Bar to our friends and family!
This is one of our new favorite restaurants in Las Vegas! Great menu and fun cocktails. The fried green tomato appetizer was delicious. The short rib was a generous portion with creamy cauliflower mashed potatoes and grilled green beans. The biscuits were light and baked perfectly. If you have room, go for one of their delectable desserts. Most can be shared by two people. We really enjoyed the Old Fashion Cocktail. So smooth with a hint of orange. The hostess and servers are very helpful, friendly, and professional. This was my third visit dining here and was not disappointed.
amazing fried chicken! great drinks! This place is a must try!
We booked 45 minutes before the reservation . We were seated immediately although we went early. There was a private event and their chatter raised the noise level. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty and largely portioned. We have one locally that my sister has been to. I will visit.
This was our first visit to Yardbird who was recommended to us by our daughter.Reservation was made for dinner prior to going to a show. Our hotel was at the other end of the strip and streets were busy. We ended up late for our dinner reservation. When we explained our situation, the hostess went above and beyond and got us seated which was amazing as the restaurant was busy! The waiter was very helpful in recommending dishes and explaining the menu. The food came fast, generous portions and delicious! Was one of the best meals we have had in Las Vegas, good food, friendly and informative staff, will absolutely be back. Thanks
I'm a great fan of chicken and this place doesn't disappoint. I have been to the South Beach location in Miami many times and Vegas doesn't miss a beat. Great fried chicken and bar b que chicken. The biscuits are like home made and ready for drooling on.\nAn outstanding cocktail list filled with genius. Great selection of whiskeys,rye,scotch.\nValue is outstanding, but the food is out of this world !!!!\nWorth the wait if you don't have reservations..... 5 Stars all around.\nAnd by the way a friendly and knowledgeable staff that goes above and beyond !!!\nHoping that they next open in NYC !!!
We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at Yard Bird. Great food and service. Ambiance. ...i feel that maybe a little more lighting would be good, slightly too dim for me. I love taking pictures of our food, photos did not show verynwell. Overall we had a wonderful time.
Delicious, filling southern style food. My husband is a burger fanatic and he said the Swine Burger was the best he's ever had. The mac and cheese is also great.
Our waiter, Tracy, was so much fun and took excellent care of us. Food was delicious. Try it!
Wonderful food. Portions are large so you don't go away hungry. We ordered chicken and sides to share for the two of us this meal. There was plenty. We stayed at the Venetian 9 nights and ate brunch and dinner here twice each.
The best fried chicken, skillet corn bread and sweet tea you'll ever find in Vegas. Great service, plentiful menu that includes something for everyone. Definitely worth venturing to while in Vegas.
The fried chicken literally will melt in your mouth! The sides are as amazing along w the delicious biscuits. To make it all even better, you get to wash it all down with some really incredible sweet tea!
GREAT food. I made a reservation and was still seated in the bar, which I wasn't happy about. There was no other tables available. :(\nService was great though, and the food was delicious!
Great atmosphere and the best fried chicken I have ever eaten! Highly suggest this place!
Amazing food and service. The presentation was great. They have a wide selection of meals and cocktails. Very accommodating staff that checked on us often. Can't wait to go back!
Great quality comfort food in a rustic modern setting, which is a nice respite from the rest of tacky, overpriced Las Vegas. Our server was very rude but that should not deter anyone from going.
it was a tad noisy for a business dinner, otherwise it was great.
A fantastic dinner. The chicken and waffles delivers! And the cornbread was sooo good. Thee service was upbeat and unobtrusive. Highly recommend for a casual dinner that still feels like an event in Vegas.
Great service, scrumptious food!!
Food and service were outstanding, wonderful, excellent. Noise level was challenging -- very difficult to carry on a conversation. Overall, I can't wait to return to this fabulous restaurant.
Food is great. Service is awesome. And the cocktails are unique and delicious!
It would be nice if there was a southern fried chicken dish without the skin.
The fried chicken is the best I've ever tasted----being that I am from Kentucky, I've tasted a lot of fried chickenð. This was the best !
Have eaten at the The Las Vegas and Miami Yardbird and totally love it. Love the Southern dishes done with a cool and unique twist. Awesome Bourbon and Whiskey selections. One of may favorite wild things to do is order the split bone grilled seasoned marrow and chase it with a show of Buffalo Trace/ Maple. The creamy spice added chaser to the gelatin like marrow goes down and starts things off right. Another favorite cocktail is the 'Kentucky Mule'...made with Blanton bourbon, Ginger beer, and fresh lime juice. The short rib entree is off the hook. Have eaten most of the appetizers and entrees and nothing has disappointed me. I was born and raised in New Orleans and live in Vegas and cant help but warm up to this culinary addition to Vegas foodies.\nOnly one issue, and its common in Vegas, for servers to get distracted and strike up lengthy conversations with groups of four or more and forget about the lesser groups. So, you have to scream 'hey' and get their attention. But its really fun with a group and have a great time with some unique southern dining experience.
Yardbird has corralled some of the best southern favorites on there menu with a degree of culinary enhancements. Their menu changes without losing the fundamentals that make southern comfort food so appetizing. It's a great place for a group to have fun and laugh. Very engaging servers and staff and management roams the dining room to make sure all diners are having a positive dining experience. Some of my favorites are Shrimp and Grits, Fried green tomatoes topped with pimento cheese and pork belly...how southern is that!!!! The bone marrow is perfect with a shot of Bacon Buffalo Trace Bourbon chasing down the marrow. Very casual environment but comfortable if you are in business attire.\nCons: Because there are groups there, it does get quite noisy and you will have to raise your volume level to communicate at your table. The main server is well trained and does great...but the other servers who take care of drinks and misc. items have forgotten some things or duplicated drinks.\nI have eaten at two of the three Yardbirds in US and they both have the same awesome consistency.
Delicious Southern food, perfect for brunch. Friendly staff and nice room decoration.
A group of us visited with a very popular food blogger. Good atmosphere and the food was great. My favorite was the fried chicken and mama's biscuits which a friend ordered. Hefty servings so we were able to share. Would recommend to others and visit again the next time I'm in Vegas.
We had a bit of a rough start.....the waiter visited us 4 times prior to even getting our drink order.\n\nHowever, we mentioned this to the sommelier when she arrived with the wine and after that, it was a different story.\n\nThe service improved immensely, the food was impeccable and we received complimentary desserts for our special occasions and the earlier issue.\n\nI would highly recommend!!
Love this place. Have been to the one in Miami Beach and loved it so when passing through Vegas we went out of our way to stop here for lunch. Well worth it. They serve the best fried chicken in the world!!! And the fried green tomatoes BLT is awesome. A must try. Their service was spectacular. Love this place.
loved the gluten free chicken. Deviled eggs and bourbon/berry juice was great. Wedge salad was not quite as good as expected but BLT's were amazing apparently.
We have been to Yardbird on 4 separate occasions since we come to Vegas 2X a year for tradeshows and we have watched everything from the quality of the food to the quality of the service go downhill. We came the first time within a week of the opening and enjoyed the food and service (our waitperson was Jerry, and he was THE BEST!), came back again to the same wonderful experience. Unfortunately the 3rd and 4th times Jerry was off and we had poorly trained waitstaff who treated us like we were doing them a favor by dining in the restaurant. They did not really know the menu well, the service was poor (empty water glasses for a length of time) the portions seem to be getting smaller and the price of the food certainly doesn't correspond with the size of portions. The last time we were there I think the fried chicken portion was a fried Cornish hen. Will not be coming back unless we hear things have changed for the better.
Love this place! The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty and my overall experience with Yardbird Southern Table & Bar will keep me coming back.
This place is outstanding . We ordered little tastings of everything. \nThe watermelon and goat cheese was wonderful . The fried chicken was tasty . Not too much coating and so moist . Do not miss the desserts. \nI am so glad to live a good distance from Vegas , otherwise I would be eating there three times a week. \nDO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!
Very good food. Not as phenomenal as the reviews. Worth going if your in the mood for 'southernesk' cooking. Not true southern food but hell its in Vegas.
Outstanding bbq. Great ribs. Great waffles and chicken. Large portion size
Loved the ambiance and the fried chicken is to die for!! The cocktails were also delicious and unique. Family style is the way to go. The heirloom tomato salad dish is very unique!
Very noisy, too small for large groups, noise makes it terrible for other customers
Chicken and waffles is a must have!
Everything was delicious. I had the spare ribs Nd grits. I highly recommend! Bring your appetite! The portions are not skimpy.
Amazing chicken - some of the bet I have ever had! The dressing on the wedge salad was super yummy and the biscuits were light and fluffy. The mac and cheese needed a bit more seasoning, but was still good. You should go here right now.
Yardbird never disappoints. Anytime I'm in South Beach, I hit-up the Yardbird off of the Lincoln Road Mall, so I was very excited to visit this location. It's just as good as the one in Miami Beach, if not better, because you can actually get in without a long wait!\n\nThe food is amazing! The fried chicken is outstanding! \nBacon donuts and side sauce were a perfect pairing!\nHouse apple jam goes very well with the biscuits!
Had a great Southern style meal at Yardbird at The Venetian hotel - skillet cornbread with jalepeno honey butter; grilled Caesar salad with anchovy bread crumbs & chili-lemon dressing; St. Louis ribs with apple slaw; 1/2 smoked BBQ chicken in BBQ sauce with charred okra & cojita cheese and cauliflower garlic mashed potatoes! Excellent food! Wine paired with great Justin Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 from Paso Robles, California. Good service - fairly loud room though.
This place has by far the best Chicken and Waffles I have ever eaten and I order them everywhere but nothing compares. This is a must eat place and the peach cobbler is also amazing
The fried chicken was the best i've ever eaten!\nThe service was outstanding.
We visited their location inside The Venetian/Pallazzo hotels in Las Vegas. We had walked past the restaurant several times before making the reservation for our final night. Boy, am I glad we did. The chicken is so delicious. Our server suggested sharing the 4-pc. order of chicken and we added an order of biscuits. That was all we needed. Wish we'd had room left for dessert because their dessert menu looked fabulous. We will definitely visit again when in Vegas.
This place was okay. I suppose I am not really a foodie, so it was a little too different for me. Try it if you want something a little different.
I had been to Yardbird in Miami and thought it would be a great choice for my mothers 75th birthday dinner while in Las Vegas. The place is not as airy as Miami and with the low ceilings it was very loud and hard to hear each other. The food was very good and liked the gluten free fried chicken, however, later in the evening we were beyond parched!!! The food is WAY over salted.\nOverall the restaurant is a great place for the party crowd. Much prefer Miami over this location.\nI am sure I will be back. We did love the Butterscotch Cake and the Hummingbird Cake. Portions were huge.
Every employee was fantastic from the hostess all the way to the bus staff. The food was very good, but in a city with amazing restaurants everywhere, I feel like it was a little underwhelming.
Best fried chicken and waffles I've ever had hands down. Also great drink selection.
This is a fantastic spot for Chicken, BBQ brisket & sides. One chicken entree is plenty for a couple to share. It was so good, we ate two meals @ Yardbirds during a 4-day weekend in Vegas. Best sides we've had in years - deviled eggs, mac'n cheese, kale salad & green beans. Also, try the peach cobbler! Sides large enough for 3 people to share. Try Yardbirds if you need a break from the $100+pp choices at Venitian. Cannot wait to go back next year.
we only had the set menu for Restaurant week but it was amazing! not sure about the BLT appetizer and deviled egg had mustard which i am not fond of BUT the friend chicken, ribs, mac and cheese and biscuits are amazing!! I even got biscuits to go so i could have some with breakfast! The mud pie was amazing as well! decent beer selection. Definitely coming back!
We had upped the # in our reservation (last minute...our fault) and bc it was taking so long to empty tables to seat us they out us in their private room! What a wonderful experience! We were worried that being out of sight we would be out of mind, but the serious was wonderful. And the food delicious!! So accommodating and an overall wonderful experience
Outstanding food. Very unique. Wait staff and management were very nice and engaging. Just a Great dining experience from beginning to end. \n\nThe chicken is the absolute best I have ever had in my life. We are from a major US city, and nothing compares to the chicken we had at Yard Bird.
I absolutely love this place. I found this place through YELP, and had to try their mac and cheese and deviled eggs, based on the reviews. I was not disappointed, both were amazing. I was so impressed with my lunch I made a reservation to bring my husband and daughter who came up to spend the weekend with me. They both had the Chicken and Waffles with Watermelon - they both raved about it and although a bit pricey - WORTH IT! My 13 year old daughter only left one piece of chicken. The only recommendation is to have a plain maple syrup option. The syrup that came with the waffles was infused with Whiskey and wasn't very palatable for a child or someone like me who doesn't enjoy liquor. \nThe service was great and overall, well worth visiting. If you have a chance to dine here, I would recommend it. Lastly, DON'T skip out on the bread pudding - AMAZING! This is not gramma's bread pudding - hubby hates bread pudding and he kept digging in.
Fried chicken is one of my favorite meals, so I was excited to hear that their fried chicken is supposedly great. The fried chicken was moist on the inside, but nothing to write home about. Popeye's spicy chicken taste better at a fraction of the cost.
roasted bone marrow was excellent, nice drinks , moderate price
Loved this place! From the moment we walked in we received outstanding service. Food was awesome and enough to share. Great Whisky drinks and other cocktails along with a creative take on southern food. Will definitely return! Try the Fried Chicken!
Best restaurant I ate at in Las Vegas!! And most reasonably priced for the amazing quality and style!
Absolutely loved this place. Great vibe, relaxing, amazing service and the food was phenomenal. Incredible little twists on authentic southern food. The best fried chicken I've ever had, a must have with the chicken, waffles and watermelon. Watermelon was seasoned and will leave you disappointed they only gave you a few pieces, you'll want the whole thing. Ordered the peach cobbler and it didn't disappoint, terrific. My only regret is I don't live in Las Vegas so I can visit there more often.
Yardbird is everything you want out of Southern Comfort food. The chicken and waffles were delicious. I loved that there were multiple options for biscuits. Also, they do old fashioneds the right away. Big ice cube to not water down the drink. Overall a great experience.
Best fried chicken I've ever had in my 47 years! The mac n cheese was incredible, too. In fact, everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back!
Great food. The Chicken is a must order as well as the biscuits.
Amazing atmosphere and even better food. Hands down the best fried chicken ever!
3rd time to this restaurant and the service and food are always excellent! I had the short ribs and husband had the chicken and waffles! Both are excellent!
One of the best dining experiences in Las Vegas for lunch. The decor and ambience is very warm and feels like home. You have to order the chicken and waffles + watermelon!
Food is always awesome here, but last night service was particularly bad. The waiter was condescending to the point of actually arguing with us about what we'd requested vs. how he felt we should order. A Birthday dessert was presented after we'd eaten other desserts and paid our bill, which was odd.
The quality of the fried chicken was on par with KFC. It wasn't even as good as Popeyes.
One of the best restaurants in Vegas hands down!!!!
Good food but the waiter seemed more interested in impressing the three 20-somethings at the table next to us than giving us good service. For instance, he never even told us the specials. Lighting is also very low and my companion had trouble reading the menu because of that. Otherwise, a very good but somewhat overpriced meal.
Great southern food but the fried chicken was over priced and sorry to say I've had better
Great find on the strip with fried chicken and mashed cauliflower potatoes.
Food is great. Food is designed to share. Order a bunch of things to try. We loved the shrimp n grits and the waffle, jalapeno cornbread was flavorless though. Service was okay, not amazing.
Da best bacon I have ever had. Ask for a side. Have that in everything.
Fantastic service, but for the money/cost of the food, pls go elsewhere.
a patron was seated right next to us who continually snorted. It was disgusting and caused us to take our meal to go. The tables are quite close together.\n\nAlso where we were sitting was so dark I had to use my flashlight on my phone to read the menu. \n\nFood was very good.
Food server spilled beer on us then did not replace plates and silverware. Had to grab from another table and ask for a replacement beer. No manager came to the table to ask about the incident. Poor customer service.
Loved the food and the ambience Great service. Only thing just a little loud in there
This was our second visit to Yardbird and we had a great time. My family and I were visiting from Alabama to celebrate our daughter's birthday and chose Yardbird to eat lunch. The place has a really cool vibe to it. It feels a lot like a restaurant in downtown Nashville with its musical influence and southern inspired food. The entire staff did a great job and the chicken tastes as if it was prepared in the deep south.
Was totally surprised at this magnificent find! extremely impressed with fthe food choices, atmosphere, and wait staff. would definitely go back- wish it was closer. \nThe Fried green tomatoes, watermelon- waffles and fried chicken, and peach cobbler are to die for!!!!!!!
Yardbirds has become a favorite in Vegas. We have to go at least once every trip (sometimes more) and are never disappointed. The food and drinks are always amazing and the service is unbeatable. The only draw back is the noise. It's practically impossible to have a conversation without yelling. We've been there at several different times and it's always the same...almost deafening. BUT, the food and drinks are so good, your mouth will be too busy to talk anyways!
Brunch was delicious. Our favorite meal in Las Vegas. Will definitely come back next time. Fried chicken was the highlight.
We had the biscuits and gravy with chicken for brunch. It was incredible (and a lot of food). The chicken was well seasoned and the biscuits were great! I'd definitely recommend.
First meal in a long time that was perfection, in every way, from beginning to end. LOVED IT!
Worthless. You call it Southern but fried chicken w/o gravy? A biscuit that looked and tasted like it was prepared 3 days previously with no butter. Our visit was as disappointing as it gets. It was a total waste of our money. I has been a week and we are still talking about how bad the food was.
Very nice restaurant and we enjoyed our visit. Thank you
Best chicken and waffles I've ever eaten! They even gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary.
Hands down the best Chicken/Soul/Southern food restaurant I've ever been too. I haven't been to Revival in Minneapolis yet so for now Yardbird gets my vote. Awesome staff, quickly served upon ordering. Excellent!
Excellent food and service. Very nice menu variety. The chicken , both fried and bbq was perfect.
Great southern food with a nice ambiance. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive with good recommendations.
I have a problem with not being told that there was an up charge of $2.00 on my drink. I would not have cared if I was told.
small intercity chain, just a few stores. The signature fried chicken is well worth trying!
We stopped by Yardbird for an appetizer and drink. Chicken and biscuits were delicious. Crispy, boneless chicken. We also had fried okra, which was the best I've ever had. Fun, southern restaurant.
Dined here with my wife in July and enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Very lively and with some fantastic cocktails. We wanted to try a bit of everything so ended up ordering the fried green tomato BLT (loved the thick cut bacon over the fried tomato), corn bread (jalapeno and butter made this a favorite), mac and cheese (nothing special), spiced watermelon (great level of spice and flavor), and the half bird (crispy and juicy). The food was excellent other than the mac and cheese being pretty average. They aren't joking when they talk about plates being meant for sharing - the amount of food we received for well under $100 easily could have fed another couple. Our only complaint was that the mains came as we were still chewing the last bite of our appetizers. We never felt rushed by our server but could have used some time between courses so we could have finished a little more of that delicious meal.
Fried chicken: that is all you need to know
Great fried chicken!!
Southern Food elevated!! First time dining with clients and it was a nice change. Delicious food and great service. Fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs are must haves!! Chicken and waffles one of their signature dishes. A bit on the pricey side but a great experience overall.
Our waiter was great! He explained large portions enough to share. Wedge salad, biscuits and chicken were excellent. The buttermilk dressing added great flavor without covering up the taste of food. We would definitely return!
One of if not the best restaurants in town. Can't wait to come back
This restaurant was so loud that my spouse and I were screaming at each other across the table to talk to each other. Additionally, we were seated at a tiny two top- table crammed in next to two large tables. The service was extremely slow. We waited 15 minutes before receiving our wine. The food was good, but nothing worth going through the unpleasant dining experience overall.
FOOD WASN'T BAD ...JUST WASN'T GREAT. HAVE HAD BETTER FRIED CHICKEN ELSEWHERE.\n\nMORE HYPE THAN ACTUAL FLAVOR. TOO MANY OTHER CHOICES IN VEGAS SO WOULDN'T RETURN.
Exciting menu that did not disappoint. I will be back... SOON!!!!
This place really delivers the chicken is some of the best I've ever had biscuits amazing and Ken might have been one of the best waiters we've ever had.
The food is simply amazing and the service is spectacular. This last visit we had Tom Brady as our server and he was Exceptional! Very great at giving his opinion on the menu and was very personable with our party.
Very crowded but we had a reservation and got seated right away. Had the cornbread, very good, goat cheese and watermelon....excellent \n\nOrdered the chicken.....holy s..t....really good. Crispy on the outside...juicy on the inside... Very impressive. Wife had the crispy chicken biscuits....wow....excellent \n\nMacaroni and cheese was great....cheesy and very tasty.Service was good....not a place for wine....,only one Chardonnay \n\nOverall 5 stars....way to go yardbirds ð
Awesome food & incredible service!! We're still dreaming about the wonderful dishes! Best restaurant experience in Vegas!
As a southerner who loves him some fried chicken, I was blown away by the tastiness of this bird offering, accompanied by a fantastic green bean thing with smoked yogurt and then those biscuits, so so good. Very accommodating to our eight year old and a couple of maple infused old fashioneds to boot. Delicious. Highly recommend.
I an a born southerner and the fried chicken was very good that my husband received. The biscuits with my meal were a little lacking from some I have had back home. We also got the jalapeño cornbread appetizer which was a little dry (a side of butter may have helped). Both our cocktails were very tasty but also pricey around $16 dollars each.
I came across the Yardbird on the Internet. I was looking for a nice, but not too expensive, place to dine while I was in Vegas. I chose this place because of the reviews about the best fried chicken. I decided to try the house specialty, chicken and waffles. My husband was skeptical about ordering chicken and waffles but we both enjoyed it. We couldn't get over how great the syrup tasted and the crispiness and flavor of the chicken was great! I will be back if I'm ever in Vegas or they open a chain in Houston.
The food here is amazing! The staff is really one of the BEST I have ever encountered.
This was my second time dining at Yard Bird in Vegas. The first time was awesome but we were rushed. This time we got to take out time and really enjoy everything. Of course the chicken wow the chicken. You have to get their chicken. But everything was sooo good. One of the outstanding finds was the sweet tea. If you like your tea sweet this is really one of the best I have ever had, until I tasted my wife's Arnold Palmer (sweet tea + lemonade) I have never had a better non-alcoholic drink ever. I could have sat there all day drinking those puppies.
This restaurant has the best fried chicken by far. We travel to Las Vegas every three months and always go back. We love this restaurant. The servers are so friendly and nice. This last time we did save room for dessert and were not disappointed, the cobbler was fantastic.
All I can say is DELICIOUS. From the cocktails to the salads, biscuits , Mac and cheese and the amazing chicken and waffles it is food heaven. Great service makes it a must go to Vegas destination. Will definitely be back. Please open one in NYC!
The Yardbird did not disappoint! A group of us were traveling for work and went at one colleague's recommendation. I started with a small reservation and called to more than double it in size. The Yardbird team was very accommodating and gave us access to their back party room. We had a few people not show up and I called ahead to let Yardbird know. They were unfazed and dealt with our changing reservation with ease.\n\nThe food and service were both fantastic. We had a great meal, sharing a bunch of apps and dishes family style. We loved the cocktail recommendations we received. We had a group of 10 and ordered just the right amount of food to share at our waiter's advice. It was a great night!\n\nI highly recommend this place with a large party. The back room was gorgeous and worth seeing!
A little dark, & a little noisy, but excellent otherwise.
Great food especially the fried green tomato BLT and the fried chicken Like the fact you can order main dishes and sides and share with everyone. Don't need separate dishes for everyone ad there is so much food
Restaurant. Is TOO DARK ! Could not see the menu or the food. We were in a corner\n\nAnd not comfor able.
Good was great but Kenneth the server was terribly rude...ruined the experience.
Amazing service every dish worth tasting at least once as there creative and delicate savory touches in everything from eggs to the lemonade and of course the chicken!
The staff was amazing! Super friendly. The fried chicken & biscuits are the best I've had in a long time. Very Casual place. Don't get dressed up
Probably the best cheese grits I've ever had. The biscuits and jam were great!
The barbeque ribs were awesome! The shrimp and grits were tasty but the shrimp were too small. The apple coleslaw was good. The drinks were not good at all. I sent back a margarita that tasted awful and came in a really tiny glass . The server (who was awesome) recommended their 'best seller', some kind of alcoholic lemonade. It too was awful, but I kept it because I just didn't want to be difficult.
Great food and excellent service. Fried green tomatoes BLT was delicious, definitely would order again. Servings are a decent size. Vegetables sides could feed 3 people easily. My partner and I shared an order of fried chicken and waffles. Received a generous portion (half the bird) of chicken with 2 waffles each. Chicken was crisp on outside and moist on inside. The atmosphere was a little louder than I like, however this is a popular restaurant and is to be expected. Waitstaff were awesome, great personalities and knowledgeable about menu. Would definitely come again.
Great experience except I was so cold I had to wrap up early - bring a sweater!
Liked the place very much, great food. But waiters trying to upsale constantly is quite off putting
Fantastic food. Fun atmosphere. Great whiskey selection. Chicken and biscuits were a highlight. Pricey, but not overly so given the location on the strip...
The brisket and biscuit sandwiches were amazingly delicious, melt in your mouth brisket, the best I've had. The chicken and biscuit sandwiches were equally as good. I wish there was one closer to us in San Diego but will definitely make it a point to eat here when we visit Vegas.
Our server was great. We were seated immediately and the food was excellent
Wonderfully delicious food! The fried chicken and shrimp and grits are a MUST! It will change your life! The cocktails are delightfully complex and potent.
The fried chicken here is absolutely to die for. Braised okra is also wonderful, but I have to say my favorite dish is the fried green tomatoes with tomato jam and pimento cheese topped with pork belly. OMG out of the world.\nAlso - best Manhattan I've ever had.
Great place - that different than the normal affair in Las Vegas. Small plates keep dinner within reason. Best Manhattans ever. Could do without the noice level - but it is Vegas baby.
When you're craving southern food this place will certainly hit the spot. the chicken was good however the deviled eggs were better.
Server was excellent! Food was awesome! We ordered the chicken, watermelon and waffles. Our server wasn't kidding when he said it serves 2-4! Was delicious. We also ordered the Mac and cheese. It was very good as well. And we overstuffed ourselves with the bacon doughnuts. The caramel dipping sauce they serve on the side with the doughnuts is what makes it! Definitely make reservations. We had reservations for 11:30 am and had gotten there a little early (11:05). There was already a line out the door of parties waiting to be seated. They were able to seat us early as well. Will definitely be coming back!
I have breakfast late when I am in Vegas so naturally brunch sounds like a good idea. I have to say that this restaurant had really good fried chicken. I had the chicken and waffles and it was awesome.
Best fried chicken I've had in s long time. Go family style. Wedge salad was great too! Service impeccable
Great dinner with the family tonight!
Really enjoyed the food at the yardbird. Will be back again!
Kristine J. Made our experience so special. Best wait person we have ever had in all our trips to Vegas. In fact we came back the second night too!! Kudos to Kristine J. A treasure!!!!!!
Outstanding food and service - surprised - first time here - will definitely return - bone marrow - biscuits - fried chicken - all outstanding
A bit too dark, music too loud, and seating rather close. The food was exceptional and service excellent.
The appetizers are amazing. The Blt, cornbread, and deviled eggs are a must have. Although the the Chicken 'n' Watermelon 'n' Waffles entree was throughly disappointing. The waffle doesn't taste like much of anything while chicken was extremely greasy and full of salt. The shrimp and grits were less than spectacular as well especially since the grits were undercooked. The service on the other hand is wonderful the staff is very kind and helpful they are definitely striving to please.
Took my wife and kids back to Yardbird because my kids absolutely loved their food the first time we went. Yardbird was awesome the second time around as well. We had one of the high top tables by the kitchen which is a very cool experience by itself. The kitchen manager came over to our table and asked us what we had had ordered and we told him. He them told us that we absolutely had to try their BLT appetizer. He proceeded to comp us two orders and the item was fantastic. Yardbird was already my kids favorite restauarant in Vegas but this took it to another level for them. I can't say enough about the staff at yardbird and the food is fantatstic.
Loved everything about this restaurant. The food was excellent. Drinks were good. Waiter was awesome, knowledgeable and attentive!
I went to Yardbird on the recommendation of a friend and loved it. The food was delicious and it was a perfect spot for Sunday brunch. Stick to your ribs comfort food, perfectly seasoned, great service, beautiful decor, just a great place. I will certainly be returning!
Delicious fried chicken. Our brunch deviled eggs were amazing. The mac and cheese was very salty. Our waitperson was absent half the meal. Not good for a restaurant of this caliber.
Awesome pick! Space was amazing. Food was delicious. Must have the deviled eggs and the chicken biscuit. Want to come back for the fried chicken. Did lean that I do not like whisky cocktails. And was weird to have a table with really small children crying next to us. Not the restaurants fault. Want to go back!!
Ate there last year when it first opened and we thought we would try again. Went with a Vegas native who agreed there are far better places for the money.
The food was very good and fun. We shared the fried chicken and tried several of the salads and sides. They were all very good.
We had a delicious brunch at Yard Bird. We loved the decor and had great service. Three of us had the special which was chicken bisquits with white gravy and bacon. So decadent but soooo delicious. We'll be back for sure!
Great food and service. Chicken and biscuits have never been better. Try the fried green tomatoes with pork belly. We will be back.
My husband and I ate here for lunch one day while visiting Las Vegas. We shared the fried green tomato BLT, which was amazing. We also shared the kale salad, which our waiter recommended to add avocado, which was delicious. We also had the Lewellyns Fine Fried Chicken which was so good as well. For drinks, we sampled the blackberry bourbon lemonade and the yardbird old fashioned, and both were very tasty. My only complaint is in regards to service. We dined on a busy Saturday afternoon, and will definitely come back to eat again, but there were a few times when we wanted another drink or to order more food, that we couldn't find our waiter for a while. Other than that, great dining experience.
Definitely get the bone marrow! Service was excellent.
The best southern fried chicken I have ever had! Awesome restaurant!
With biscuits and honey butter to die for, and dishes to share, this southern cooking gem is a good option if you don't care to spend $50 on an entree. Dishes are made to share, and are generously portioned. We had a grilled mango salad, fried chicken, biscuits and carrots, all fresh and very tasty - not greasy. They have a great beer selection, and we had real pear cider (as in, made from pears). Had to go to a dessert reception, so we didn't try the desserts, but they looked awesome. Noise level is high, as are all the restaurants in Vegas, but we could converse. The waiter was friendly and made up some special sauce tableside. With tip, two drinks, no dessert or coffee and shared dishes, bill was $94. If that gives you sticker shock, don't go to Vegas.
Very nice place inside the Venetian. The charred okra and the mac and cheese are awesome. Food comes out fast and service is top-notch.
This is southern food at its best. The fried chicken is delicious. Loved all the sides. My favorite is the wedge salad and corn bread. The drinks were super yummy too! Can't say enough great things about this restaurant. Went to the one in Miami and was so excited to get one in Las Vegas.
Interesting restaurant offering Southern comfort food items; especially their fried chicken. The chicken was good, although not the best fried chicken that I have sampled....the best being Zehnder's restaurant in Frankenmuth, Michigan. When you order the fried chicken at Yardbird that is all that you get...side dishes are extra...honestly, $26 for fried chicken is a little steep...add a couple of sides ( I had cheese grits and green beans) and a drink and the bill will run you well over $50. Food is good but the value is lacking. My waiter was a very friendly fellow, and checked back with me often to see if everything was satisfactory.
The restaurant is very nice. It has plenty of people to serve you and check on you. I ordered their primary menu item the Southern Chicken. It was supposed to come with a 1/2 chicken including all four pieces. They gave me a breast, thigh, and two legs. Said they did not have a wing available. This did not make sense to me because they are a chicken place. should have corrected this problem. Their side choices are very poor. No mashed potatoes and gravy for a Southern chicken restaurant. Only french fries were available and they were not part of the 4 piece meal that was priced at 26.00. I was charged 5.00 a piece for minature diet coke bottles. I drank three so for one person my bill was over 52.00. Way too much for a Fried chicken dinner\n\nI'm from the South but live in Vegas now. The chicken was good but the price and sides choice was very poor.
Tables are close together so privacy is a minimum. Our waiter did what he had to but seemed way to busy. So service was nothing spectacular. Coke comes in a classic glass bottle so don't expect refills.
Everything about Yardbird is excellent. Food, drinks, service and ambience. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting LV!
Love the Miami location and love the Las Vegas location. Southern food with an interesting and delicious twist. Great cocktails. If I could wave my magic wand and change one thing- I'd make it a little quieter. Otherwise close to perfect.
OK, the fried green tomatoes, chicken & waffles, as well as the short ribs were absolute killer. I am only in Vegas every 18mos and Yardbird was #1 on my list for eating out. Our crew \nhad the best time sampling the beer selection. We'll be back. Don't miss this delicious bite!!
The whole experience was fantastic! The staff was great. The fried chicken was the best I have ever had (including Table 52 in Chicago) and the bourbon cocktails were outstanding! I will return on my next trip. Congrats to the entire crew for a first class experience!
Entire staff treated my wife and I exceptionally wellwaiterJonwaswellwaiterJon was attentive and the manager Greg Waters was professional and engaging wonderful atmosphere!!!! Wonderful food!!! Wonderful!!Wonderful!!!!!
Absolutely amazing! All aspects of this place makes it 5 stars. Highly recommend.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Chicken and waffles excellent. Best though was the peach cobbler
This is my second visit to Yard Bird. First was for dinner and we had a great experience - would have been five stars.\n\nThis visit was for lunch. Crispy Chicken biscuits were just ok. The portion size was very generous but one of the pieces of chicken was chewy and grisly. \n\nServers were very personable but my food came out before my cocktail... so only two stars on service.
The food is no doubt some of the best southern style cooking in Vegas!
Food Fair with good chick, biscuits and sides.
Fried chicken was possibly the best we've ever had. The biscuits were delicious and came with house made honey butter and strawberry jam. YUM!! Excellent service and great ambiance topped off the evening. I highly recommend finding your way through the Venetian to dine at this gem when you're visiting Vegas.
We had a fantastic experience. Our waiter was wonderful. I was glad I made a reservation because the place was busy with business folks from a nearby convention. Everything was great!
I had the chicken, watermelon, and waffles. It was by far the best meal of the trip. You won't regret it!
Great service and incredible food! Very accommodating for our large group
I went to yardbird specifically because of the chicken and waffles that were recommended on Yelp during a recent business trip. I wasn't disappointed. They serve theirs with along with watermelon chucks which are good but not needed. I actually liked the hot sauce mix they serve along with the maple syrup for the chicken. A very large portion so come hungry.
All of the food we ordered and service was excellent! Cocktails from their menu were great too! Could stand to be a little less expensive but it is expected being on the strip. Nevertheless, we will definitely be coming back!
I'm still thinking about what a delicious meal we enjoyed at Yardbird. The portions are large and this is comfort food, not diet food, so I love that they encourage you to share which helps both the waistline and the wallet. The service is top notch. The bourbon cocktails are delicious. And you must order the chicken. My husband and I shared the butter lettuce salad, the chicken and waffles with spiced watermelon and the peach cobbler. The fried chicken was perhaps the juiciest and crispiest I've ever tasted. I could eat the spiced watermelon every day of my life. The peach cobbler is a must order for the table, just for the reason they make it from scratch and it melts in your mouth. It's huge! Often in Vegas I feel like I'm overpaying for mediocre food. Not the case here at all. It was like a flavor explosion and party in my mouth. My husband and I left with full stomachs and big smiles. Highly, highly recommend.
Service was great - especially considering my 16 month old who wanted to grab everything. Fried Chicken was probably the best I've ever had. Wasn't a fan of the spiced watermelon but I prefer watermelon in its pure form. Drinks were also great, especially for my husband who doesn't usually like alcohol. Prices were very reasonable, especially given the ridiculous buffet prices on a holiday weekend. Definitely recommend!
Food was wonderful. Loved the biscuits. The bourbon flight with the infused bourbons was amazing.
Best friend chicken I've had in years! The service was excellent, food came quickly, and the bourbon menu was spot-on.
Fantastic food, just as good as the miami location. Must try the fried chicken in biscuit sandwich.
While the food and ambiance were IMPECCABLE, we went to Yardbird to celebrate my spouse's birthday. This was made clear when the reservation was made and the hostess even acknowledged his birthday at check in. The meal was quite pricey so it would have been a nice touch to have provided dessert at no cost, instead of scribbling HAPPY BIRTHDAY on his dessert plate then charging us full price.
Amazing! Chicken biscuits were delish and the peach cobbler was on special by far of the best desserts ever !
If you want southern food in Las Vegas, this is the place to get it. The prices are a bit high, but the fried chicken is the second best in the US (The best fried chicken is Yoders in Bradenton, FL), the sides are very tasty, and the drinks are awesome. The Yardbird Old Fashioned comes in a rocks glass with a sphere of ice to keep it cold.\n\nOverall the food presentation was top notch. You could order your own meal or what we did was family style. The portions were quite large and are very shareable.\n\nThe wait staff was very friendly, efficient and attentive without being smothering. Our waitress, sadly I forget her name, was ready with recommendations for food and drinks.
I was staying at the Venetian with friends so we booked brunch at Yardbird after hearing about the delicious fried chicken and Southern fare. Standouts on the menu were the chicken and the biscuits. Our server was attentive, but had to be asked repeatedly to bring condiments and did not follow-up to ensure we have received them so that was a bit annoying. The restaurant is also dark and doesn't have any windows but I feel this is more symptomatic of Vegas restaurants that are in the casinos/hotels and without direct street access. It did feel a bit stuffy after awhile. Overall it was good.
The go-to place for fried chicken, grits, greens, okra, cornbread and other Southern staples. Good Southern music and nice ambiance. Gr8 service and solid bar menu.
Our waiter was great. All of his suggestions were spot on (drinks, appetizers, food, dessert). We would definitely continue to stop at this restaurant when we are in town. I will suggest this restaurant to all our friends when I know that they are going to be in town. Overall our experience was great.
The food was amazing and our service was superior! I highly recommend this resturant and I plan to visit it again the next time I am in Las Vegas!!!
Foodie heaven!! If you are in the mood for some Southern Style food, THIS is the place! Fried Green Tomato BLT is incredible and includes the best pork belly I have ever tasted. The deviled eggs are rich with dill and delicious. Fried Chicken is brined for over 24 hours and is amazing. The wings were the best we've ever had. Try the chicken and waffles, you won't be disappointed! We ate there two days in a row during our stay at the Palazzo, and we will return again for sure.
Overall good food but, in my opinion, overrated.\nHaving a southern palate I found the food lacking in seasoning but it was served timely, and with a friendly staff.
Ranking the dishes is difficult as all were soooooo delish!! To start, the cocktails were refreshing and exactly the way to kick off the meal. The deviled eggs were amazing and I we had 4 people eating so sadly it was only 1 per person ð must have the fried chicken and the short ribs. Shrimp and grits was very, very good but the other 2 entrees stole the show. Love that this is family style so all got to try everything. The biscuits are amazing!!! Service was terrific, attentive, knowledgeable and charming.\n\nWish there was one in NY!!!
Dinner with a party of 8 while attending a trade show in the Sands Expo. Great service, very attentive and the drinks came quickly. Dishes of note: Fried Green Tomatoes, Deviled Eggs were excellent apps, shared by the table. Chicken & Waffles did not disappoint. Numerous folks got Fried Chicken with a side dish(s). All well received. Salmon special with Yukon and sweet potato hash also excellent.
The first time we went to Yardbird we were blown away by the food. Being a local I thought we had found a great new gem to dine at. The food was just incredible and the flavors literally burst in your mouth. On our second visit, not so happy. We ordered the exact same dishes and I'm not sure if it was a different chef or if it was an off night but the food did not taste close to what we had the first time. We both looked at each other and said in unison 'what happened?' The service was great still and we were seated promptly but the food was meh. I might consider trying it one more time to see if it was a fluke night but locals generally stay away from The Strip. So unless I happen to be down in the area I probably wont make a special trip to try it again. So sad...
Cocktails and deviled eggs were amazing
Hands down best fried chicken ever. However mac n cheese a real disappointment - do not order it.
Quite a decent find, food was very good however overpriced in some areas. $36 for chicken and waffles is just ludicrous. I understand it is the signature dish, but still....other items were more in line with market pricing.\ncocktails were good, service attentive at first, but slowed down at the end. A major drawback are the small tables in the bar-dining area: Since most items are supposed to be eaten family style, the tables are by far too small. Very awkward top dine during the entree period.\nI'd still come back, though.
Yardbird now leaving their south Florida home to be here in Vegas brings their signature fried chicken ! Yum! Since it's relatively new it's also very busy creating a bi rant atmosphere! The food is well executed and the portions are large! It is well priced and the service is top notch! My one and only complaint is the bone marrow app. The marrow bone was very fibrous with very little of the soft lucious marrow to enjoy. At $17 it was a disappointment. However that was the only issue. A great new restaurant for The Venetian's restaurant row!
Best chicken in Vegas! Sides were amazing and our server was pleasant and knowledgable. Don't look past the watermelon. Yum!
Our experience at yardbird was top notch, as we were celebrating our anniversary on vacation in Vegas. We are New Yorkers and foodies and were very impressed with our top notch service by Justin and the manager coming over to wish us a happy anniversary and check in. The cocktail menu is fabulous (my bf works at a craft cocktail bar in nyc so we are picky!). The food was fantastic, highly recommend the brisket biscuit sandwich and blackberry bourbon lemonade! We will definitely be coming back here on our next visit!
The Fried Chicken was the best ever tried. Also the Fried Green tomatoes are a must try. Don't forget the Butterscotch cake!
Server was the best ever. However, I use to live downstairs from the original in Miami Beach and ate there often. The food although tasting good, was not like the Miami location at all. \nI would come back, sure, but would not do what I did this time -- hop off my plane at 10:45PM and head STRAIGHT there to get my Yardbird fix.
Great food and service. All employees were very friendly.
The food was good however the service was terrible! I thought I was dinning at McDonalds drive through as we were rushed through the entire meal. We had a reservation so I'm not sure why we were rushed and the restaurant was not full nor closing for the evening any time soon. We arrived on time. We ordered a starter and within 2 minutes from ordering our appetizer was put on the table. Our appetizer was not even done and they were taking the plates away. We had to scramble and take what we wanted because the waiter was determined he was taking the plates. After that within a couple minutes our entrees were placed in front of us. By the time we were done our entrees I was so annoyed by the waiter. He came to our table a good half dozen times to see what he could remove from the table. Dessert was offered however we were so annoyed that we went somewhere else for dessert. From the time we sat down to the time we left our entire dinner took 40 minutes. It does not matter how good the food is at a restaurant if the service does not match. The fried chicken is supposed to be there signature item and honestly it was just ok. Bouchon (when on the menu) has better fried chicken for the same price and the dinning experience matches. Very disappointed.
Food is quite good and the drinks are excellent. Service was spot on and the people are generally able to make excellent recommendations. I did not think the BLTs were are amazing as advertised, but all of our other dishes (friend chicken, shrimp, biscuits, green beans, potatoes) and our drinks were perfect.
We absolutely loved our entire experience at Yardbird. The service is phenomenal - warm, friendly, knowledgeable. The decor is beautiful - warm, hip and stylish. Really comfortable. And of course, the food. Where do we start? The fried chicken was amazing, as were the grits, waffle, watermelon, and bourbon syrup. Our cocktails were top notch. And our 8 year old son loved his chicken biscuit. We loved the biscuits too - so fluffy with gorgeous honey butter and home made apple butter. We would absolutely go back next time we visit Las Vegas!
We went for a spontaneous date night (thank you, Grandparents, for taking the kids). We chose Yardbird because I had been wanting to try it out and because there was a reservation available on OpenTable. The restaurant is really beautiful in a southern comfort way but it is loud, so don't expect an intimate conversation when dining there. The hostesses set the tone by being kind and welcoming and laughing at my husband's joke and we were seated immediately. The wait staff were on top of their game at Yardbird. They know the menu and what to recommend, but above all else, our sweet tea glasses were never empty and they checked in on us despite a busy night. The food was served hot and quick. We ordered the BLT Fried Green Tomatoes, green beans, macaroni and cheese and the fried chicken - before we even ordered the main entree we ordered their famous Peach Cobbler (because it takes 20 minutes you need to order it ahead of time). Each item was delicious and the hot sauce they put with the fried chicken is really good so give it a try. The manager that evening came by and was a southern gentleman who cared about our visit and took the time to get to know us. I would definitely come back again and bring my friends and possibly my children for a day date.
Amazing experience. Outstanding food and service with wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend Yardbird for special occasions or just a special meal. Of course the fried chicken is not to be missed, short ribs were out of this world, shrimp & grits were delightful, the biscuits are worth a double order, and all our sides were perfection.
The Chicken Biscuits are a must!
If you love fried chicken you will love this place. They also have a great bourbon list!
With an ambiance true to a down-home-southern feel, our dinning experience here was simply amazing! Every bite of food was a little taste of heaven! I can't wait to dine here again and am even making plans for Miami just to taste Yardbird again!
Absolutely the best fried chicken ever. Perfect service.
Everything we ordered was fantastic! Best Smoked BBQ Chicken ever!
After eating here last year we thought we would give it a second chance. Calling this Southern flair quisine is really a stretch. Supposedly fried chicken is their specialty. Chicken was palatable at best. Charging Seven dollars for 4 small rather hard biscuits was awful. Upscale food by price only. Too many better choices. Very disappointed again.
Cool spot, had a nice lunch with amazing service. Deviled Eggs and Fried Chicken were top notch.
We love the food at Yardbird\nThe fried chicken and biscuits were to die for
Love the concept of a great southern food restaurant \nGreat fried chicken - could have been a bit crisper . kale salad should take a hint from Banderas macho salad as far as corn bread croutons , dates and dressing \nCan bread pudding be too rich ? This one was pushing the limit !
bring back the Salisbury Steak!\nOkra was a on the uncooked side. \nrest was fantastic.
Food not as tasty as South Beack locale / couldn't put our finger on it but not the same special flavored and unique tastes
I have never had a meal in Las Vegas as good as Yardbird - no exaggeration. I have been to many, many amazing celebrity chef-owned restaurants in Vegas, and none have compared to this...RUN DON'T WALK to eat here!!!
We dined off the brunch menu. The Bloody Mary was practically combination drink and appetizer and the best thing. The other stuff very so-so. My wife and I each had egg dishes her Benedict had overdone nearly hard boiled eggs and the promised bacon impossible to find in the dish-- the tiny amount of sauce was not enough to compensate for non-runny eggs. My egg Biscuit also had even more over cooked eggs with good sausage but also lacking sauce to compensate for the dry eggs. We had a side of bacon hash brown potato cake with bacon non where to be found and the potato cake was diluted with some unpleasant gritty filler that resulted in unpleasant mouth feel and bland taste. I would have enjoyed an Egg McMuffin more at a much lower price.
Perfect meal: fried chicken, biscuits, Mac and cheese.
The food was wonderful!!! Best fried chicken ever! Love the drink list.
We had a fun, tasty dinner here - split an order each of the blistered tomatoes, classic biscuits and BBQ chicken. Everything was very good, and the food delivered to neighboring tables looked great, too. Service was friendly and efficient. A little too efficient - our only complaint was pacing. We ordered, got our drinks, waited a normal amount of time for the tomato salad. The chicken and biscuits arrived within two minutes of the salad, so essentially everything came at once and the table was really crowded. But maybe in Vegas everyone wants to eat fast and get back to the slots.
Chicken n watermelon n waffles were bomb. So were the fried green tomatoes
Just as fabulous as the Miami location!! We were seated immediately for our reservation. \nThe little red rooster cocktail was delicious and strong! \nOur waitress was very sweet and professional, and the service overall here was right on par with the Miami location. \nWe got the old school chicken, waffles and watermelon to share and it was fantastic! The mac and cheese was actually better at this location than Miami. The fried green tomato blt was a great way to start the meal, and the deviled eggs and biscuits were incredible! I'm not sure what jam comes with the biscuits, but it is delicious. Thanks for another wonderful evening, Yardbird!! :)
The best southern food ever; our server Tyler was attentive and knowledgable. Fantastic experience
This is my 3rd visit and the food never fails to impress! Overall an excellent experience - the best fried chicken ever - and I'm southern.
Good quality fried chicken, but not nearly worth the expense. The biscuits were dry and lacking the right amount of butter.\n\nI'm from the south, so perhaps my criticism is harsher than others, but I honestly expected more.
Wow! Best fried chicken in Vegas! Chicken and waffles together is awesome, perfect cornbread and the swineburger is off the charts. The best is the fried green tomato BLT appetizer. I will return here when I am back in Vegas.
What a pleasant surprise ! Went on Thanksgiving to have chicken instead of traditional fare and was wowed by the ambiance, service and food. Walking in seems like pub grub, but it definitely surprises you from there ! Bone marrow.... Delicious , Chicken and Waffles are to die for and if that weren't enough, the service was as good as any 1/2 rosette Michelin restaurant. I'LL BE BACK !!! Thanks to entire crew that night for a very enjoyable Thanksgiving !
Our server Hatch was awesome! Thanks for the wonderful service.
Just the best time spent on a New Years Day in a long time. Treated like family with food and service beyond reproach !
Second visit. Amazing food and cocktails. I will be back!!
The biscuits will haunt your dreams.
This place was amazing! Came here after a friend told me about it and glad we did! Food was amazing and so were the drinks. Can't wait to come back the next time I'm in Vegas!
Great food, nice local beer selection. The one restaurant in Las Vegas I look forward to every trip.
Great food and service. Everything we ordered was tasty, the best waffles and chicken I ever had.
Great Southern Speak Easy. Food was comforting, drink list looked special and well crafted, though I didn't order any. My wife never got her drink when we ordered so that was a bummer. The server got her a Diet Coke on the house though. We returned the next night for desserts and those were off the hook! Butterscotch Cake and Banana Pudding were my top picks.
The server was very nice and she made good recommendations, very attentive and fun. The food was good, not great. The fried chicken was good, but way saltier than we expected (couldn't eat it all). The shrimp and grits were good, we were hoping for spectacular from what we have read and heard about the restaurant. It was a Sunday night, so maybe that is part of it and it's a bit better in peak times. We will probably try again.
Loved the food and the service was terrific! It was busy with our convention and they handled with ease. Definitely would recommend the chicken! YUM..
Awesomely delicious food....great service from Courtney!
Authentic southern cuisine featuring one of the best chicken and waffle dishes I've had anywhere!
if happiness can be tasted my wallet is satisfied.
Great food! Our waitress recommended the fried green tomatoes and while my husband is not a tomato fan and I don't particularly like pimento cheese we decided to go for it due to her enthusiasm and it was very good! The cheese waffles and friend chicken was fabulous- especially the bourbon maple syrup- yum! Only wish a Yardbird was near where we live.
Great service and the food was even better. A MUST go when in Vegas, no joke. It is a MUST go.
The green tomato blt's were off the chart. The fried chicken was excellent and the peach cobbler is what I would ask for my last meal before a death sentence...it's out of this world. Our server was awesome and it was a great dining experience.
Food was great. Service was the worst I ever had. The server came by once to get a drink and food order and never came back. Had 1 drink the entire meal and had to get her to bring the bill.
We ate here last year and liked it. Great service and food. We came back again this year and loved it, again. The chicken was moist and delicious with the waffle, of course. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great supper! Remember to make your reservation ahead of time.
Very good food at typical $$$ Vegas prices. Nice service but extraordinarily cold (blasting AC) and loud dining environment. I'd like to try sometime without these major distractions.\n\nThe fried chicken was delicious as was the grilled okra.
Had the signature chicken and watermelon and waffles. It didn't disappoint. Will go back again to try other dishes.
Food is totally up to scratch. Amazing chicken!! Hostesses were rude and waiter was un attentive.\n\nPeople seemed to be just hanging around with nothing to do -we sat for so long a manager cleared our table.... A shame the wait staff weren't as good as the kitchen staff.
Described as comfort food and it was. They suggest sharing as portions are very large
Had a lot of fun at this Yardbird in Las Vegas. Great for beers and burgers.
Not my favorite I will not come back
Yardbird is a MUST for my wife and I on every trip to Vegas. In fact, we once actually made a trip to Vegas from LA just because we had a hankering for some Yardbird (we stayed the night, of course.) Each course at Yardbird is tasty, fragrant, and serotonin-producing. The service has always been super friendly and they've never made us feel rushed. The dark-but-not-too-dark atmosphere is a perfect getaway from the bright lights of the casino floor -- in fact, once in the dining room, you can't even tell you're in Vegas (which I dig.) I could go on and on... for me, Yardbird is a 5/5. \n\n(BTW: I prefer the Vegas location to the original one in Miami.)
Great food ,great service and great atmosphere!!! They make ordinary food (chicken and vegetables) EXTRAORDINARY!!! The biscuits, the mac and cheese...perfect. Their signature cocktail The Yardbird bacon infused Old Fashioned is THE BEST I've ever had anywhere!!! MY favorite Vegas restaurant, moving Carne vino to #2!!!
First time at Yardbird and enjoyed the food and the service was great as well. The Fried Chicken and Waffles are a must as well as the Pork Belly appetizer.
Every time I'm in Vegas, I have dinner at Yardbird. In a city full of famous chefs, and $200 steaks, Yardbird is a Sin City gem like no other.
Food was fabulous and as advertised. We ordered generously in order to try a variety of dishes and everything was great. The cobbler was especially good!
Had lunch here with our two teenage nieces on a weekday. The dining room is dark and fully enclosed so it's not a place to go for a view, but the fried chicken was good, the blackberry lemonade whiskey cocktail was delicious and the service was top notch. Saw lots of large groups having brunch which looked like a good idea - chicken and waffles & bloody marys, etc.
Overall pretty good, if you don't want to drop your savings on the headliners. Apps were good and unique. Craft cocktails, tasty, but a little on the weak side for bourbon concoctions. \n\nGreat restaurant, but was just missing the wow factor to move it up to the next level.
The food was great and our sever Tracey was outstanding! Provided great service and funny too
Good chicken , flavorful salad, cornbread a little crumbly. Peach cobbler to die for....waiter had an attitude. Not busy,we ate early....
I was excited to come and try Yard Bird in Vegas as I love the one in Miami. However, the dishes were disappointing. They didn't seem as fresh as the dishes in Miami and the place was dark and a little macabre compared to the bright and sunny disposition of Miami.\n\nThe service itself was second to none and people were all too happy to assist.
The fried chicken is life changing. All around the food is thoughtful and delicious. Can't find much better service anywhere else on the strip. Excellent lunch.
This was my 2nd time back and totally enjoyed the food and the great service. I would recommend that you sit in the dining area versus the bar area if you want a quieter meal.
hands down best chicken i've ever had in my life. oh and those brisket sliders.. DA BOMB!!!
Great Loved our meal.
Chicken and waffles were outstanding. Wine and drinks were a bit pricey.
Exceptional service and food. Chicken and waffles were suberb. Even the watermelon garnish was lightly flavored. This was not your ordinary fried chicken. Prepared to perfection and be sure to spring for the biscuits with honey. Shrimp and grits were devoured with a broad smile. Even the mac and cheese, green beans and chicken salad were greeted with hungry hearts. Deviled eggs were by far the best and totally unexpected treat. Finishing off with peach cobbler and bread pudding were not to be missed.
This is not the place to go if you are on a diet. However, if you want to have some of the best fried chicken ever (among other yummy things), this is the place to go. The portions are huge - 2 of us split an appetizer, salad and the friend chicken. We were full! The service was attentive, but not annoying. \n\nThey also have a cool bar area with couches and tables. Highly recommend.
My husband and I were staying at the Venetian and happened to come by this restaurant. What a gem - food was delightful, delicious and there is something for everyone. Probably the best dining experience we have had in Vegas and we have been to many, many high end restaurants there. Service was impeccable, as well. Kudos to the owners/operators for creating something new, innovative and delicious in Vegas! Highly, highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!
Yardbird was great! Chicken and waffles were delicious. Service excellent!
Food was excellent. Loved the spicy pickled watermelon. Mouth is still watering remembering it.
Austin was a great server. Attentive but not constantly at the table side perfect for a date/anniversary celebration.
Great place for family and friends gatheting, the food is awesome too!
Was excited to try Yardbird, and as always with my Vegas dining choices, reviewed the menu prior to going. Was surprised upon arrival to see that the menu now says entrees serve 2-4, and our waitress also noted that because of that style the kitchen will bring out food as it is done, with entrees coming at different times. With 2 of us in our party who were not interested in sharing, this was not a pleasant surprise. I've checked the online menu since returning and it now says 'Serves 2-4' next to entrees. However, I still have the menu download from before my trip and this is not mentioned anywhere.\n\nThe food was not impressive, as the grilled mango salad contained HUGE pieces of butter lettuce and mango that was barely waved over the grill. Also, the menu made no mention of raw red onion pieces in the salad but it was filled with them. I rely upon the menu to provide the components of the dish, and onions are a significant omission to someone who doesn't care for them. The salisbury steak was bland, and the signature pork chop was extraordinarily smokey, according to my companion, a guy from Texas who usually loves smoked meats.\n\nThe waitress was friendly and competent, but the overall experience was very disappointing. Coming back to Vegas later this month but would not return to Yardbird.
The food and service were outstanding. Especially, the chicken & waffles, deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes and the peach cobbler.
The food was good. There were just three of us. We each had one drink - two house brand mixed drinks and one Chardonnay that was $15. One had fried chicken, one had ribs, one had filet. We shared one dessert and one side. Total inclusive of tax and 18% tip: $245. \n\nIt was tasty, the decor was cute, and it was so not worth that tab.
Very good southern food. The southern fried chicken us some of the best.
This was our first time here. We read some great reviews so while in Vegas we gave it a try and were very happy that we did. If you are a bourbon drinker, go to this place. Large selection and very nice pours. \n\nWe had their famous fried chicken. It was great, but lots of calories, but who is counting when you are having several bourbons.
The place was very crowded because of a private affair; but they kept our reservation. The fried Chicken was very good and our waiter was very attentive. a GOOD PLACE for large gatherings.
The chicken was stupendous. Rarely if ever do I find chicken that is so flavorful. If I could I would go all of the time making this my go to chicken place. But the commute from DC makes that slightly prohibitive.
Yardbird's reputation preceded it and the restaurant lived up to the hype. Everything was superb, from the craft cocktails to the kale salad and chicken and biscuits w/pepper jelly. I had no room to even think about dessert as the portions were very satisfying. The only caveat about dining here was learning exactly where it is located in the Venetian/Palazzo/Sands complex (it's huge) and timing your arrival accordingly. The staff was very gracious in accommodating my late arrival. Once seated, the experience was perfection. I will definitely dine here again when visiting Las Vegas.
We arrived for our Brunch reservation approximately 20 minutes late. That didn't seem to be a problem and seated us immediately. The restaurant was busy and lively. The server was nice, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. The layout of the menu was unique and easy to navigate. There is a wide array of bourbon. I tired the Eagle Rare 10yr, neat with three cubes of ice, very smooth. For starters, we had the chicken liver toast. ....yummy! For the main course, we had a special ...fried chicken with biscuits, pork gravy and an over medium egg. Also the brisket sandwich with pickled vegetables that was smoky and sweet. We would definitely dine here again.
Chicken was delicious!
Outstanding fried chicken and superb Peach cobbler.
I don't usually go for the Southern Comfort food. But this was worth leaving my comfort zone for. We had a wedge salad that was covered in pork belly and crispy onions. Then fried chicken, waffle and watermelon. Every thing was delicious. The chicken was crispy and moist.\n\nWe have already recommended this restaurant to everyone who will listen. The manager came to our table twice to check on us. We really appreciate the personal attention.
The Wait staff was excellent and right on top of things. Pleasant always checking on things and the water glass was never less then half full when they refilled it.\nThe food was very good and plentiful with some good choices and we look forward to going back for other selections. Very impressed with the Management staff handling our reservation questions and chomping us with their awesome peach cobbler. It is the different between and ok experience and awesome.\nThanks
Fried chicken and biscuits were to die for. Mac and cheese was just ok. The service was a bit too quick...felt like the food was prepped beforehand...like an upscale Kentucky fried chicken fast food place. Would recommend for the chicken. Pricey.
Delicious southern cooking served family style. It was a great dining experience!
Great chicken and waffles, biscuits, lots of local beers to choose from, creative cocktails. Fun place to go in Vegas for brunch, lunch, or dinner.
Food was good but overpriced. Ridiculous that a small diet coke was $5 with no refills. Service was good. Food was brought out quickly for lunch.
Excellent Fried Chicken, and service to match.
My husband and I found ourselves away for 3 child-free days and nights in Vegas, so we took advantage of enjoying some meals in real restaurants. Yardbird was an amazing treat. We started with the fried green tomato BLT and then split their chicken and waffles with a side of roasted cauliflower. It was the perfect amount to share. We both felt comfortable and not stuffed when we left and were able to hit the town and enjoy our evening. We will definitely return to Yardbird on our next getaway.
Reasonable wait, food serve fast, great taste. Just the space between the next table is a little close that makes us uncomfortable. It feels like the next table can hear your conversation... We were quiet the entire times after they sat the next table. Overall is very good for someone who likes fried chicken.
Wonderful southern cooking with every 'fixin'l you can want. Don't miss it or you'll regret it!
Had the fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, and the chicken & waffles. Excellent flavor.
Exceptional restaurant that we go to on every trip to Vegas. If you like a southern style breakfast, it can't be beat. Cheddar cheese waffles with bourbon maple syrup are to die for. Fresh buttermilk biscuits with housemade honey butter and jams are out of this world. Decor is very southern yet modern and pleasant. One of the best coffees I've tasted at a restaurant as well.
My family and friends enjoyed a wonderful dining experience this past weekend at Yardbird Las Vegas. We also had the good fortune to eat at the Yardbird Miami just last month, which was similarly outstanding with a vibrant bar scene. Great food, great atmosphere, great service at both locations. Only one question for the Yardbird proprietors: how soon can you open a restaurant in my home of St. Louis??
Excellent experience. Signature dishes were superb.
Everything was phenomenal. Ran out of bone marrow though
Food came too fast. Was looking to have dishes more spread out.
We started off with the BLT appetizer and the deviled eggs. Both were delicious, but the star of the night was the fried chicken. It was truly delicious! I will be back here every time I'm in town.
The Fried Chicken is fantastic! Good choice of beers.
Food was so unimpressive and the chicken was so bad. Limited lunch menu. Very disappointing.
The restaurant is very nice and the décor is trendy and in keeping with the theme\nThe chicken is fantastic as are the sides and the desserts are great\nI highly recommend Yardbird if you are looking for something different than the usual steak or Italian that is prevalent in Vegas
One of many visits, and always the best. The food was the same comfort and excellent food as all visits, which makes the restaurant a favorite! The noise level is noisy, but as long as you expect it, adds to the type of atmosphere. Everything is served family style, which makes eating with friends a great place to be, just be sure to know that a little goes a long way, and if you are from out of town, there is no place to take the food back to for a midnight snack.
This our 3rd time at the Yardbird and has been equally very good each time. The food is consistently wonderful, and the service well timed and attentive. Everything is served family style and is abundant for all, but be prepared to taste the southern touches to familiar dishes. The noise level of the restaraunt is very loud, which adds to the atmosphere, but does add a level of challenge for large party conversations. This time, our party of 6 were sat near the kitchen on a high top table with high bar chairs, which was not as comfortable as the tables, however was an amazing view of the food prep and kitchen activity. We will be back for future visits, but will probably request tables in the main dining area.
You HAVE to enjoy the Lewellyn's fried chicken w/ watermelon & Cheddar cheese waffles. You won't be disappointed. If you have never had fried green tomatoes give them a whirl, the pork belly is a very nice compliment to them.
Loved the bloody mary.\nFood was well executed and presented.\nServer was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.
I thought the food was really good. The chicken is so yummy. The service was really good too.
I was really looking forward to eating here. I loved the fried chicken, a little salty though, the waffle and loved the watermelon salad. I order sides of grits and biscuits. the grits were grainy and not smooth and the biscuits were heavy. we also order the peach cobler and the topping was to hard and it had fresh and canned peaches.\n\nI would go back if for nothing else but the fried chicken and waffles!
The food is fantastic, try the biscuits and the Mac n cheese
Went to the original in Miami Beach 4 years ago -this was just as great! The Gluten Free fried chicken is the best I have ever had!
Great food and service. We enjoyed the family style dining approach. We were able to try a variety of dishes and everyone in our group of five was happy with that. I enjoyed their take on the classic Old Fashioned cocktail. Probably the best Old Fashioned I've had. It's hard to be creative with a cocktail that classic, but they did it. Someone else in our party had one of their other specialty cocktails, and also enjoyed it. Highly recommend the BLT appetizer, the chicken and waffles, and the BBQ chicken. We didn't partake in any of the desserts but they looked divine. Would definitely go back!
amazing, Everything is good. Pot roast was amazing!!!!
this is my new vegas favorite. I love this place. I love that it's casual and I don't have to get dressed up. I love that they have gluten free fried chicken. I loved the attentive service and managements attention to detail. Managers were actually talking to customers. This is well run delicious place to eat and have a cocktail.
We went to Yardbird for brunch on a Sunday. All of the staff were super friendly and made you feel at home, even at a restaurant. Food was tremendous...the best chicken I've ever had. Portions were generous. A little over priced but nonetheless the experience was super.
The food was great. The service was incredible. We had the chicken, waffle and watermelon. We wanted to try other things as well so we ordered the fried bread and butter spears, the mack & cheese and biscuits. Way toooo much food for 2 people but that's what happens when you want to try several things since you don't know when you might come back. If you have a group then even better because the food is easy to share.
My mom and I really enjoyed our dinner here. We had the okra, chicken & waffles, and short rib. Every dish was fantastic, just wish there were more people to help eat all the food! The portions are large.
If you are ok with spending some money on food. This is the place to go. Food was wonderful. Was ore expensive then I usually eat. But, it as so worth it I wanted to go back and eat again. Bu, the casino took my money .
Fabulous! Recommend by a friend, he thought that I couldn't find anything to eat because I have been eating low carb & no meat. Trust me, I found what to eat & it was delicious ! The service is spectacular ! First time in any restaurant in Vegas that the owner, manager, or the gentleman that seated us , came over to our table & asked how everything was! I turned to my husband & asked 'where are we'!!! Most places don't care there, this one does! \nOur waiter was great too! It was an awesome experience ! My husband loved the brisket & biscuits, food is fresh. \nWe were excited to find one in Florida, to try on our next trip there.
Overpriced, extremely salty food. Rushed to order. Heavy dressing on salad. Waiter not friendly.
The service was warm, friendly, and impeccable. Delicious fried chicken!
As a southern boy, I know good southern food when I have it and Yardbird is good southern food. As good as my grandmother's fried chicken with side dishes that are incredible. Great service and atmosphere.
The best fried chicken I have eaten, and the deviled eggs are sooooooo good
Tracy! Outstanding service. Would def come again.
Food: solid 4\nService: solid 4\nPrice: 4.5!\n\nOne of Vegas' best deals in terms of excellent food, service and price.
This is our third visit tomYardbirds and as always food was great. We particularly like the the fried green BLT appetizer and the fried chicken. Our server was very attentive and explained the changes to the menu. \nThe food is shareable portions.
Delicious food, rapid service, and a great beer list.
Good service with great fried chicken and waffles. This is my fourth time dining here and it is always consistently great.
Do not forget to order the Peach Cobbler!
Must have the fried chicken!!
Good food.. Prices are a little high but what I expected for vacation. Catfish is a good choice.
Food was so flavorful and creative. Our waiter was on point with everything, loved it all.
Gluten free fried chicken was superb with outstanding service!!
The biscuits here are great, I could have just eaten those.\nOur experience started awful with a hostess that doesn't listen or care about her guests, thankfully the waiter on the other hand showed concern and was very attentive, except for the most important part.\nI ordered the hand breaded chicken sandwich, and explained that due to extreme dietary restrictions, my food cannot touch raw vegetables, he wrote it down and I thought I was good. The sandwich came out without the toppings which was accurate but there was a pickle and another vegetable that I do not recall pierced into the bun, defeating the purpose of me stating that I cannot touch vegetables. I had already had it with this place so I ate it without the top bun and rushed out of there.
The food was amazing
This was one of the best southern style meals I have had
First of all, what a great looking space! The Yardbird feels like a combination of hipster meets farmhouse. The staff was fantastic -- so friendly and accommodating. I ordered the famous fried chicken, and I have never experienced fried chicken like this. Their zillion hour prep process is obviously working, because I've never tasted fried chicken that was so fantastically crunchy on the outside yet so juicy and flavorful on the inside. And you don't need a lick of salt or pepper -- the flavor is perfection! Finally, my husband convinced me to share the peach cobbler with him, and I don't typically even care for cobbler. But words cannot explain this cobbler . . . Oh my. All I can say is you have to try it to believe it.
Great food fabulous chicken wonderful down home feel
Down home cookin' done well. We enjoyed our meals at Yardbird (we ate there twice during a recent Las Vegas trip). The food was unique, different, and yet comfortable. The cocktails were yummy. Service was excellent, especially on our second visit. I would recommend this restaurant in the future.
It's the best fried chicken I've EVER had and the service was outstanding.
Best fried chicken we have ever had
Good food. Good drinks. They made my daughters birthday special. A little pricey and not as good as the one in Miami.
Overall we left loving our experience at YardBird. Wedge salad wasn't the best I've had, but the lardons of bacon definitely were the highlight. Chicken & waffles were absolutely delicious as well as the shrimp & grits. Watermelon was kick ass, for sure. the seasonal cobbler was peach which we were excited about, but it was a completely disappointment. First of all, it's not a cobbler, it's a crisp. It had an oatmeal crumble on top and a cobbler has more of a sweet biscuit topping. But that wouldn't have even bothered me except for the fact that it was completely flavorless. We were really surprised because everything else was very good. I'm sure the other desserts were better, who knows but they definitely need to change that terrible peach 'cobbler' (crisp!)
Put some South in your mouth- delicious- best fried chicken & macaroni /cheese
My wife and I decided to share a few items. We went with the Blue Plate special which had some of their wonderful country fried Boneless chicken with some watermelon that was soaked in something a bit spicy that gave it a kick and also included a buttermilk biscuit. We also ordered the Smoked brisket biscuit which included to Smoked brisket biscuit sandwiches. We also tried the Swine Burger which is made with Short Rib, Brisket, and Chuck all ground up and made into a patty and had some smoked pork belly, smoked gouda cheese, and BBQ bacon added in and came with fries. For dessert we went with the Butterscotch Cake which was a monsterously large slice of cake with a bacon frosting, butterscotch sauce with a scoop of toasted pecan bourbon ice cream with some crunchy pieces of bacon placed on the scoop and in the butterscotch sauce. The dessert was so amazing, the meal was filling and we definitely had a great time. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Skillet cornbread is awesome. Fried chicken is a must of course
Service was great and friendly. Food was delicious. Had menu items that I had never tried before. Big plus!
Food was great fried chicken and Mac and cheese is excellent. Service was also great.
We had a great meal! They offer gluten free fried chicken which was a real plus. Too bad they didn't have a gluten free dessert offering. We had a great meal and will definitely return when we are in Vegas again. Service was excellent!
Love this restaurant, service and food are always amazing.\nRecommendation Chicken Biscuits.
Of all the wonderful places to eat in Las Vegas, this one is so good we went twice. Food is hot and fresh, interesting and tasty. Don't miss this place on your next visit. Lunch or dinner, sure to please.
Perfect. Great wait staff, Tanya was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was truly delicious and atmosphere was vibrant and comfortable. A great experience.
Nice ambience with great drinks and food. The chicken and waffles are great!
This is our second time dining at Yardbird and it did not disappoint. The biscuits, especially the ham biscuits, are amazing and the fried green tomato BLT will definitely be on our list to order again. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
It was great to start out with but one of the ladies in our group got sick and in so many words we were asked to leave its Vegas for god sakes they could have been more considerate
So delicious!!! I'm a southerner- and this is GREAT southern cooking. Best Fried Chicken ever!!!!
We had the Chicken N Watermelon N Waffles and the shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious. We experienced excellent and friendly service from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Great place to relax and enjoy some great southern comfort food.
Good quality food. Definitely try their chicken and brisket biscuit sandwiches.
JoJo our server was amazing!!! I live in Michigan couldn't wait to try this spot!! It exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to come back!
My wife and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary at Yardbirds a few weeks ago. We had not visited Las Vegas in over 20 years and chose Yardbirdâs as the first place to dine once we arrived. We are from San Francisco and are accustomed to fine dining, however, I must tell you that your restaurant was exceptional. To begin with the customer service was amazing. While waiting for our meal we engaged in conversation with various staff members and it was obvious that these folks are dedicated to providing the best service and the best food. They were all highly professional and more importantly knew everything about each dish we inquired about. Finally, my wife enjoyed a meal at the store in South Beach, Florida last year and concluded that your restaurant was a little better in the customer support area, although, the food was equally as good. We do plan to returned art some point in the future. Bob and Teri Allen. Lunch date was on 6/13/2016. See photo below.\nBOB PIC jpg copy
Best fried chicken and best biscuits. You must try the chicken. Choose chicken and waffles or two chicken biscuits. Breakfast fried chicken stuffed biscuits with sausage gravy, bacon and topped with an egg. Best I've ever eaten. Next time I'll top it with two eggs over easy instead of the one that comes on the order. Can't wait to return!!!
Because I have eaten many times at Yardbird in Miami, I was excited to try the Las Vegas location. The Las Vegas location pales in comparison. The shrimp and grits were too gritty and the gravy/sauce was not quite the right flavor. The fried chicken was also not quite the right flavor as the original one in Miami but I suspect that over time, the Las Vegas location will get there. I went to Las Vegas for my birthday so I was excited to find my favorite restaurant in Vegas. But I was very disappointed because the food looked similar to the Miami restaurant but the taste and the flavor was not there. Yardbird Las Vegas has a lot of work to do if they are going to get on the same level as Miami. The Las Vegas restaurant should have been packed wall-to-wall. It was not. There was plenty of seating because the taste of the food is nothing to write home about, unlike the Miami location.
Great service, food & atmosphere
The waiter was really funny
The food was delicious! Best fried chicken I've ever tasted - moist on the inside, yet crispy and light on the outside. The chicken wasn't oily at all. The brisket biscuits and fried green tomatoes were also delicious. I enjoyed the family style dining which allowed my family to taste a variety of dishes. I would definitely go back for the food.\nI wish the acoustics were better. It's very noisy and difficult to carry a conversation in the dining area especially if you have a table next to you where everyone is screaming. The cocktails were weak. My guest ordered a Hendricks and tonic and it tasted like water with just a hint of gin. When we brought it to the waitresses attention she said there was a jigger of gin and that he could order another shot. I thought the waitress should have taken it back to the bar and had the bartender make another one or ask my guest if there was something else he wanted to drink. That 1 drink cost us 30.00.\nNext time, I will request a table in the bar area where it's quieter and order only beer and wine as their cocktails are very weak.
Very nice service and cuisine. Amazing farm fresh choices in the big city. Will do this again.
Of course you should get the fried chicken! Love it! And great choices for sides and desserts!!
The food was amazing. We ordered a whole bunch of items to taste. Our waitress was great. Great service and gave some good suggestions. Very casual and relaxing atmosphere. A definitely must when going to Vegas.
The best chicken that I have had in a very long time. All of the food was good, my only complaint is that they need a small portion option. Very nice atmosphere as well. Great for casual or more formal dining.
Loved it here! Was just disappointed that I couldn't try the chicken, because they cook it in pork lard, and I don't eat pork.
The fried green tomato blt appetizer was amazing!
I had good expectations going into Yardbird for lunch, but the prices seemed very steep for what was offered. Luckily before I ordered I noticed a lot of the tables around me were half way through their meals and man y of the side dishes and appetizers were barely eaten and remained untouched. I overheard one table mention that the watermelon was nothing special (they only ate one cube) and many other tables seem to not devour their dishes. If the prices were lower, it might seem like an okay place, but for the price, the food just does not seem worth it unfortunately.
This was one of our best meals in Vegas. We wanted to sample as much as we could. We loved the BLT and deviled egg appetizers. We shared 2 orders of fried chicken amongst 3 of us and 2 orders of mac and cheese with green beans. The waiter talked us into the 2 orders of mac and cheese and we barely touched the second. It was all very good. The fried chicken was some of the best I have had. The other person in our party had the shrimp and grits. They were good but he was jealous of the fried chicken! The drinks were excellent as well. Highly recommend and will be back to Yardbird. \n\nMy only complaint was service, felt a little rushed and drinks took a while. Also felt forced into ordering more food than necessary.
Yardbird was recommended to us before we left so we had a reservation...\nthere seemed to be a waiting list when we arrrived. we were able to walk right\nin through the bar area which was extremely noisy. But the restaurant area\nwas somewhat quieter. There was some video playing on one wall displaying\nElvis, Johnny Cash and more...wish this could have been more prominent.\nHowever, the food and service was fantastic. We enjoyed a signature drink\nserved in a mason jar, the fried green tomato and pork belly appetizer, corn\nbread, an amazing salad and finally, ribs !! Most of our meal was recommended\nby our server . We would definitely return here.
The fried chicken and Mac and cheese were amazing. Others in my group had the burger with 6 different meats in it and they said it was the best burger they've ever had. Only drawback was the noise level; pretty noisy.
Have been to yardbird in Miami. Was excited to see outpost here. Everything great but somethings are different on menu than Miami. They don't have the great kale salad here and the watermelon salad is different. Chicken is not quite as crunchy but still great.
One of the best cornbreads I have ever had! And one of the few places in Vegas that serves sweet tea...thamks!
Loved everything. The food was incredible, the cocktails were fantastic and the service was fun, friendly and fast. Can't wait to go back.
We had a fantastic meal at Yardbird. My husband had the fried chicken and macaroni and cheese, and I had the short rib. Both were delicious. Comfortable and beautiful. Staff were very helpful.
I was looking forward to this meal the whole time I was in vegas and it did not disappoint! I have my share of southern food and this was right up near the top! Yum! The food comes out when it's done so we never went to long waiting for food! Plates are made to share, so do! Best cocktail's in vegas. Felt reasonable priced for vegas. 5 stars
Loved the easy, casual atmosphere combined with the terrific food. Service was prompt and friendly, food well prepared and delicious, prices good compared to all the typical 'high-end' LV offerings. Would definitely recommend this spot to friends & family!
My mouth started watering in August, the first time I saw the signs that this place was coming to Venetian. A Southern restaurant specializing in fried chicken was just what this place needed. Now that they've opened, it was the first place we booked when we knew we were taking a quick trip to Vegas. From start to finish, this place was a disappointment. They made us wait for our reservation, even though they had tables open. Once seated at a table, when I asked for a booth instead, it took them ten minutes just to wipe down and clear one nearby. The server was fine, but it was obvious that the kitchen was in the weeds. The couple at the table next to us were not happy, as they had waited over an hour for their fried chicken. When that's your specialty, you should have plenty on hand. I have to say, the biscuits were very good, but this place is certainly not special in any way. Thank goodness we had a reservation at Bouchon the following night. There's a place that could give lessons on how to run a restaurant! We go to Vegas a lot, but we will not be going back to Yardbird..
Loved our dinner here during vacation in Vegas. Truly great comfort food. Also loved that they make their Old Fashioned the way we do at home - with maple syrup and orange bitters. And be sure to leave enough room for the bread pudding for desert- great for sharing and incredibly yummy!
No fried chicken is worth $52, even in Las Vegas.
Great service and loved the food! The Chicken Watermelon and Waffles was fantastic.
Yardbird is a relative newcomer to 'Restaurant Row' between Venetian and Palazzo Casinos. It specialized in upscale Southern American. Fried chicken is the speciality and is excellent. The peach cobbler was also extremely good and nicely presented. It isn't a bargain but then bargains don't really exist in the major Vegas Strip hotels. It also isn't as pricey as several of its immediate neighbors. Great for lunch or a nice (but not fancy) dinner.
LOVE THIS PLACE...ALWAYS HAVE EXCEPT WHEN THEY WERE GOING THRU GROWING PAINS..\nBUT NOW THAT THIS HAS BEEN DONE AND IN THE PAST, ITS JUST AS OUTSTANDING AS IN THE BEGINNING....HAPPY WE WENT BACK!!!\n\nYOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!!!
The food was amazing and the service was excellent! Going back Saturday.
The fried green tomato BLT is IT! Yum! The waiter suggested the bird as part of his speech but I'm not big on bone in chicken. So I tried the smoked chicken salad. It was on a bed of cornbread with super yummy homemade ranch. We have since left Vegas but my mouth is watering for more!
Everything is amazing!
Loved finding this new gem in Las Vegas. Wanted something a bit more casual than we usually do while staying at the Wynn but didn't want to venture too far so decided to walk across the bridge to YardBird. Fantastic food--great Cocktail list and a totally wonderful surprise. I wish there was one in my neighborhood but for sure I'll be back next time I'm in Vegas.
The chicken was amazing and the watermelon was the best.
During exhibition time Yardbird is a great place to have lunch. Service is fast, efficient and the food is very tasty!
The food was very good. It had nice twists on Southern favorites. Almost all items are a la carte priced, including the lemonade (although it was worth paying for a second glass--it was that good!) Generally the noise level was quiet, but we had a small group next to us that got unusually noise for a short time--they were enjoying themselves too much! The wait staff was informative and appropriately attentive.
This was return trip. .the food was great just like before. .very friendly staff. .my kids loved it. ...
Fabulous lunch. Visited New Years Day in search of black eye peas. The service was outstanding and the food, even better! The waitstaff and General Manager were all very professional with out being fussy. I recommend getting a table by the kitchen. Very fun watching the activity. By the way, we got our black eye peas! Best I've ever had and would love if the chef would share the recipe!
Food was delicious. Coffee was terrible. Way too weak. Had great service and a friendly server.
Yardbird offers fresh takes on southern classics paired with unique and delicious cocktails. The fried chicken was simply the best I've ever eaten- I highly recommend getting it with the delicious waffles. The Fried Green Tomato BLT was inspired. You can also get a warm basket of soul-southing buttermilk biscuits as a side, but I saved mine for last and topped it with butter and jam for a sweet end to a perfect meal. \n\nAs a general rule, I don't like to go to the same places when I travel because I crave new experiences- but my next trip to Vegas will include a revisit to Yardbird. Yours should too.
The food was amazing. We ate here on vacation and wish it was in our hometown.
Great service and good food. The cost for a meal is a little over priced.
Everything was amazing, especially the fried chicken! Service was also top notch. Thank you for an awesome brunch.
We had brunch on Sunday during our stay. The biscuits and gravy were heaven. Would go back again and again.
Our waiter was awesome. Told him we needed our food fast because we had show tickets. Ordered chicken and waffles, short ribs, chicken and biscuits, and the skillet cornbread. Everything was OUTSTANDING!!! I'm still craving the fried chicken. So tender seasoned so well. Waiter even brought separate syrup for kids because the normal one came with but on in it. Highly recommend this place and will be back again on my next trip! (My daughter wanted to try the deviled eggs, but we had too much food,.....next time).
Our visit was for dinner. Evidently they have lunch and brunch as well. My wife wanted chicken and waffles. I got my choice of Bouchon the night before. It was a lot of food and a good value. We enjoyed the atmosphere and beverages. We had deviled eggs and got them as they were different than we would make. They use dill, chive and smoked trout roe in the whipped egg yolk. I thought they were very good.\n\nI had the 14 oz. bone in short rib, charred corn, green beans, sweet garlic bordelaise, cauliflower mashed potatoes. Everything was really, really good. I ate it all.\n\nThe deserts looked yummy and very good. I was full
Having grown up in the South (i.e., Mississippi and Louisiana), I found nothing 'southern' about their menu items (e.g., fried chicken, biscuits, okra, etc.) other than the name. Saying that it's 'southern' doesn't make it so. People from other parts of the country who were not raised eating true southern cooking may find the menu items to their liking, but I found them to be very disappointing. If you want a real taste of southern cooking, go to M&M Soul Food on W. Charleston (original location) or S. Las Vegas Blvd. (new location).
The chicken was outstanding and the macaroni and cheese was very good as well. The lighting was a little dark to read the menu but other than that our family will be returning. Thanks to the complete staff for a wonderful dining experience.
Food good for price. Menu too limited. Not enough options, sizes with their specialities. Excellent service. Too crowded and too noisy. Bar was average. Would not drive 1.5 hours again to go back.
After hearing about the fried chicken, my wife and I could not resist trying it. I had been trying to drop a few pounds, but blew that idea out of the water! The chicken was great and the desserts are worth the extra time on the treadmill. The service was awesome!
