An excellent hotel with a restaurant and swimming pool overlooking fabulous countryside. You won't forget this one!
The view, the food, the calm and the cleanliness. The wasps, the tiny, tiny toilet.... had to squeeze in (Room 104)
A great little village location and run by a lovely friendly young family. Always smiling and helpful. Should be more stars (***) on this place! No Internet (but that would be a lot tro expect for the location and price!)
Friendly staff, clean room, nice shower. Very good restaurant. Excellent location for Rocomadour, the Gouffre de Padirac and surrounds. A good comfortable country hotel in a nice village at a fair price. What more can you ask. The breakfast is very continental. I think the price could be increased slighthly to introduce just a little more variety. Maybe some cheese and a little cooked meat. Just an observation, not a complaint.
a very nice family run hotel made our stay a exlent time will go back
The position and accessibility of the hotel and the friendly welcoming and efficient staff
The friendliness of the staff and the value for money
nice room , toilet very clean, very good restaurant available room is too small for a three star hotel . was also very noisy in the early morning because of a market in the square . lady at reception quite weird - we went to the restaurant and she accompanied us to the table , then took our orders and after a few minutes came back to tell us we had to wait for one hour before eating because we had not made a reservation for the table in advance . Added that if we didn't want to wait for so long we had to go to another town as apparently there are no other restaurants in Gramat. We decided to wait and food arrived after only 10 minutes! we had a plesant dinner in the end but why did she lie to us? I think she just wanted us to leave... quite weird .
Located in the centre of town, yet quiet. Friendly staff. Rather small room, but properly equiped. Good food.
Situated in the main square of Gramat. Excellent food offered in the restaurant with option of interior or exterior eating areas. Good breakfast. Room comfortable. WiFi enabled for those wanting the internet. Good value overall.
Great location, great atmosphere, very clean and comfortable rooms and the manager had a great sense of humour.
The food and the owners
Nice, bat... Room was small
Very pleasant and helpful staff, nice tv and comfortable beds Lacking in character as I had booked at an old characterful hotel that was still being renovated, I was disappointed, this hotel would have been ordinary anywhere in the world and did not reflect the character of the town it is situated in which is what I had been seeking; bathroom very small
Location excellent in middle of town - good centre for touring upper Dordogne Food was grossly over-priced
I was actually shifted to a better hotel another one of their properties This hotel will probably be closed for renovations. I stayed at Le Turenne for another 5 days on a group booking and staff did not bother to change towels or provide a rail for clothes in the close, let alone hangers. My advice is not to stay here
Excellent location, Beaulieu town and river are very picturesque. Lovely local view from window, and nice modern spacious room. Great garden terrace and restaurant at front of hotel,- food nice. but the house vin rouge was not great, order another!
Great design of the room, very nice staff, good restaurant
There was nothing to like at all. My experience was so bad that I refused to pay, and the owner agreed.
Lovely place. Very picturesque. A quiet area, staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. Rooms clean and adequate. Good value and a good evening meal. Would stay again.
This is a family-run hotel. The hostess is quite helpful. Though the family are not quite familiar with English, there is no problem in simple communication. In addition, the village is so fascinating. The trip is impressive and unforgetable.
Delightful auberge situated in the most beautiful village surrounded by cliffs. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal and a typical French breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer.
The position of the hotel in a beautiful part of the Lot department.
The rooms were well equipped with updated bathrooms. The food was excellent as well as the service. Next to train station and about 10 minute walk from the center of town. Convenient to Rocamador and easy parking. If your room faces the train station you may hear the arrival of trains or buses if you keep your window open to fresh air.
The lady on the phone spoke excellent English and was very helpfull. No
Good service, comfort and location
The Duriana room, the location & the restaurant but it was unacceptable to us that upon arrival our long standing confirmed reservation of 2 nights in this room was not honoured for the second night due to the arrival of a regular guest apparently so our stay was cut short, as an alternative room was was not of the same standard. The female receptionist who was cool & unwelcoming + the total lack of interest from the manager whom we asked to see but who did not appear.
Location Very noisy, very cool welcome
My wife was unwell but the staff were very kind and helpful. Nice place, family run.
lovely quiet hide away with a fabulous picturesque setting on the river
Good restaurant and annex bar, room offers great value fo money. Poor breakfast for charged price with expensive extras.
Free internet, friendly reception and good restaurant Coordinates given from hotel are wrong, we could not find this it, hotel rooms are dark and old, 2 star would be more matching
A very relaxed site with rooms accessing the garden and the pool. Attentive service and nice dining. Rooms a little dark.
excellent welcome. staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was nicely decorated, and the place had a good atmosphere.
comfortable and friendly service. Menu could have included more variety and was dominated by goats cheese
