Pros: Hosts John and Mary are doing their industry proud. We immediately changed our booking from 1 night to 2 nights as we just felt Seavilla was the place to be. Great location from which to explore. Generous breakfast sets you up for the day. We also had a most amazing traditional Irish dinner made by Mary. We left having made new friends and can highly recommend Seavilla as essential to experiencing true Irish hospitality!
Cons: Not one thing we can think of

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was having to leave, oh, and having put on so much weight.

Pros: Helga is considerate and helpful. The breakfast is excellent; amazing coffee, fruit salad and yoghurt and range of croissants and scones. There was no gluten free bread or cereals, but Helga would order in if warned. The range of hot breakfasts was fantastic.
Cons: The staff are not on the premises overnight. This could be unnerving if you are alone on the premises.

Pros: The accommodation was basic and fully functional. The breakfast was comparative to the 4* hotels - I eat fruity/cereal type. The fact that a fully equipped kitchen was available for us was a great findings (we didn't check it upfront).

Pros: Very clean and comfortable room...great location and hearty breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The scenery in the area is absolute heaven, it’s so quiet and peaceful and extremely relaxing . We stayed in the main house , the kitchen was spotless and has everything you need if you want to prepare food , the bathrooms were spotless and the communal sitting room was perfect and spotless and had sky tv with kids channels which was great to keep them occupied when they finished breakfast while we ate .
Cons: There was only 2 issues, and that was room number 5 which is a family room (occupancy of 6) it’s right next door to the shower room and the fan was so loud when people used the room also we were woken so early with people using the showers they were just so loud in the room. The beds were not the most comfortable however I realize it’s hard to please everyone , I personally found them too hard and my back wasn’t great when I woke . I’m going to point out that I didn’t complain about these issues and maybe they could have been resolved if I’d said something. I would definitely return but I’d stay in a different room away from shower room . The kids loved this place and didn’t want to leave but it’s import to note when your going with the kids that everything is 40-90 minutes drive away . We were exhausted with all the driving . But had a great few days .. would like to say we found the owners friendly and informative and had no problems at all
8.8 Excellent
Pros: great hosts
Cons: a bit too far from village

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, nice place to stay surrounded with amazing scenery. Not much buildings around and people. Just in the middle of mountains. That's what I like.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great reception Excellent breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was beautiful and quiet, with views into the mountains from the front of the house. The name of the place is not a misnomer. The owners have also provided maps of the local area and books so if you want an extended stay, you will have plenty of reading material and ideas on where you can explore. There is also the personal touch of staying with locals who know the area and the breakfast was amazing - some of the best porridge ever, and as vegans/vegetarians we required alternatives, which were made available easily.
Cons: We didn't find anything unsatisfactory, all was great
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were very hospitable and helpful when we needed tips about the area...where best to go, eat, etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unique location and owner very nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Food excellent. My big problem was, I needed someplace near Sneem, which is what you advertise as being, and it's a good 45mins. drive from Sneem. I wouldn't consider that to be near Sneem. It was a shame because I had some American friends over and they were staying near Sneem which is why I needed to be near there as I had to pick them up every morning and then after driving all day I had the best part of an hours drive after I left them back. It was a pity as the family in "Mountain View" are the nicest people you could hope to meet.
