Beautiful setting, lovely terrace garden, good evening meal, will go again
The village itself is full of ancient buildings and the Hotel is beautifully restored. The restaurant was top class
location and character medieval property
Attic room very hot. small A/C unit helped but only a little. Shower water very slow to drain away.
The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view overlooking the church and the village. We had a very peaceful nights sleep. The evening meal was excellent, probably the best we had experienced whilst on that holiday. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast could have started a hour earlier to accommodate those with a long journey ahead of them who wanted an early get away. The breakfast did not start until 8.30. A 7.30 start would have been better.
Location was perfect in the middle of a very beautiful village and only a few blocks from the Abbaye.
people are service adverse - don't want to serve dinner or at their conditions, late breakfast (start only at 8;30 and not negotiable). Industrial breakfast - good is good enough. Facility is very old and needs a little bit of refresh....
When you stay at Auberge de l'Abbaye in Le Bec-Hellouin, you'll be 3 minutes by foot from Bec-Hellouin Abbey. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
