8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very spacious and had great character. Very clean and had all modern kitchen and bathroom facilities

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a great surprise, this charming little guesthouse was a lot more comfortable and beautiful than we expected for the price. We recommend the home cooked dinner, with garden vegetables and exceptional good wine.
Cons: nothing, it could not have been any better....
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly English couple running this B&B. Very silent, not far away from the motorway and ideal for a stopover. Room with view: Lake St Pardour. We stayed two nights and had the table d'hote twice. Nice dinner. Very friendly dog that likes to be cuddled and play with guests. Basic room, spacy bathroom. Advice: Friadour is sometimes written as Freadour. Follow the description how to find this B&B strictly, desciption was sent straight after booking was confirmed. Alternatively: put in the GPS coordinates that come with the description.
Cons: Lake St Pardour is a brilliant venue to swim, with a nice beach. But: we were there in June and facilities at the beach were closed, as it appeared to be off season.... A pity. And strange: there were a lot of people at the beach that day (tourists and locals) and I think most of them would have wanted an icecream, a cold drink or a lunch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts, David and Caroline were really friendly and helpful. Lovely welcome. The property is being enlarged and will be terrific when completed. Meal provided first night which was very welcome after a long day travelling.
Cons: Couldn't have toast for breakfast. Toast is a must.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation seem to be a high standard for the area. It was on a very run down street but the building itself looked renovated and was immaculately clean and very pleasantly decorated inside. The outside seating area is lovely to sit and have a coffee on a morning. The host was very friendly and spoke good English aswell. The breakfast was good but could be improved; some of the bread wasn't very fresh and the choice of breakfast wasn't great. Overall great value and a lovely stay, would stay again if we travelled in that area.
Cons: Breakfast could have been improved.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Inside the property was stylish and comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful . The breakfast was delicious.
Cons: The lower end of the street was grubby. Some people were hanging around there too.

7.0 Good
Pros: Location was good. Easy walk to the main shopping area and restaurants.
Cons: We have a holiday home locally and booked the hotel for a 2 night stay during the recent European heatwave as we wanted a couple of days and nights respite in the air conditioning. However, the airconditioning really struggled and was not as efficient or cold as we are used to in Australia, SE Asia or the USA. Plus the staff had a dual control and turned the temperature up at times, although they did stop the second time we asked them not to. When we asked if there was anything to be done the staff member said, 'Well what can I do for you?' and we said please find us a room with better airconditioning and explained that is why were staying but we never heard from her again nor anyone else re our request. We let it goat that point. Just as well I had taken my fan with me, just in case and it was cooler than at home. Plus we could only have car parking for 1 night of our stay despite one staff member saying we could leave the car in it's parking spot on the second night. We were then phoned and asked to move it. We did pay for the parking.

7.0 Good
Pros: The staff, particularly Candie was so helpful and friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was sub par. The first night our room in the house was unbearably hot. We had two fans on our bedside table all night and neither one of us slept comfortably because of the heat. When we asked to move room for the second night as another room with air con became available but we had to pay a further €90 on top of the €200 for the night.

7.5 Good
Pros: Location was convenient
Cons: It seemed the office and reception arrangements need looking after. There is too much confusion behind the desk, which impacts customer service. Please let some consultant company look into your office and communication arrangements. I mean this in a polite and good way. Thank you
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Handy stopover before our visit to Oradour. Lovely setting on a municipal golf course, with restaurant/bar terrace overlooking the 18th hole. Nice room, everything you need, with direct access outside if required. Kettle and limited tea/coffee in room. Friendly staff with excellent English. Good restaurant, but rather expensive.
Cons: No options for a snack, so our evening meal was a lot more expensive than we had budgeted for (doubling the cost of our stay). If we stayed there again, we’d make sure we ate well before arriving and brought some food to eat in our room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really helpful staff who spoke little English but enough to help and give me all the info required really friendly
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good value in an ideal location for a no nonsense break on a long drive.
Cons: Would have liked a plug in the sink as would have made shaving a lot more pleasant and wasted less water
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It’s right on the way to Limoges, along the highway. Room was very clean and warm. Staff very friendly. Very good value for money you pay
Cons: Just a little noisy as the hotel very close to the highway
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff were exceptional and made our stay one that we will not forget.
Cons: Nothing, keep the staff as they are an asset to the business.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was ideal for our needs and was good value for money for our needs. A variety of facilities and other hotel chains in the area but would not change in future if we needed to stay in this area again. A fairly standard overnight hotel but perfectly suitable. Plenty of parking available not secured but did not feel unsafe.
Cons: Got what we paid for.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, helpful staff on reception; nice, varied and plentiful breakfast; clean and comfortable room.
Cons: Access to the hotel from the motorway is very easy, making it a great overnight stop off but of course also meant it was noisy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and large bed with good quality bedding. Great lift. The electronic shutters block out all light, allowing you a good night’s sleep. Free parking. Restaurants very close by. Would stay again.
Cons: The shower was a little on the small side and leaked water onto the floor. The shower pressure was great, however.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location,value for money,parking
Cons: Walls so tiny, breakfast could have been better

Pros: Very pleasant receptionist who spoke fluent English. Room was very clean, good size and comfortable. Excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. Not the easiest place to find. Would recommend to anyone.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location next to the station and a short walk into town. Clean and reasonably priced.
Cons: Toilet was separate from the shower bathroom, little bit odd.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location very good for walk into Centre of Limoges, did not take breakfast. Staff very friendly and spoke good English which helped.
Cons: Paying extra for Breakfast !!!! in UK majority of hotels include breakfast in price.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was not pretty, adjacent to the main railway station and overlooking the station car park and railway lines. The hotel itself was undergoing renovations but it does offer an underground and safe car park. The rooms are functional rather than charming but our room was not ready until at least an hour after our arrival. We were offered complimentary coffee while we waited but we could have put that time to more profiable use.
Cons: It is unfair to criticise a chain hotel such as Kyriad where facilities are offered to a budget. This was our second overnight stop on our way south and we could not help comparing this hotel to our previous stop where charm won over functionality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A warm welcome from the reception staff. Good size bedroom & bathroom. The restaurant served good food & the decor was fresh & light. An easy walk into Limoges.
7.5 Good
Cons: Unfortunately when we were there they were decorating the reception area and the noise was very loud so we decided against breakfast fast which we would have normally taken Everything else was perfect and would recommend this hotel Thank you
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was quite modern and updated—surprising for the price. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: A little noisy, with guests overhead. Also didn’t like set up of pull out bed. Not intuitive to set up (I had to call for help, but person who came was super nice) and took up so much room that we had to crawl over it to get to windows, desk. On site restaurant was delicious, but waiter was a little grumpy. I got food poisoning the next evening—May have been something from breakfast.
7.5 Good
Cons: There was no information in the rooms to say what hours the breakfast was, or when the bar and restaurant opened, so we missed breakfast and had to wait for the bar to open etc. Lack of food was a problem for some of the group.
6.8 Good
Pros: Room cleaned Staff polite
Cons: Difficult to find it coming by car and the sign KYRIAD not on the building yet instead : ATRIUM! Car park very cramped difficul TO manœuvre. No coffee - tea facilities in the room (especially for the price paid!)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Parking on site
Cons: No kettle in the room

Pros: The surrounding grounds and pool was fantastic

Pros: A real French style of living experience. Owners make hou feel agt home and you enjoy the French elegance... just a sweet memory!
Cons: ! N/a
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice historic environment, that was the way of payment as well. Cash only, thats something for decades ago. Friendly staff and it felt more that we were staying at their home than at a hotel /B&B etc
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was basic but ok.
Cons: We feel we should have been told or dog was not allowed in the house. They knew we were travelling with a dog.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming chateau Good breakfast Enormous room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: the owners stay at the property and require to be quiet after 10P.M., and turn the lights off in the house, which prevents from walking up and down the stairs, and may lead to injuiries. The pool was not cleaned and was closed. We only had yougurt, bread, jem and tea/coffe for breakfast which cost $60 for the three of us. No eggs or ham or cold cuts. Rather poor breakfast. The door to our suite had no lock. The owner came in at 11 PM to tell us to be quiet without knocking the door, which was not good. The cleaning of the house was started before 11am, before we left, which was rude.
Cons: Nice old Chateau with original furnishings and antiques.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very conveniently situated and easy to find, the staff were really kind and helpful and the room was well-set up and spotlessly clean. We were able to leave our bikes securely locked in a courtyard. The manager is really friendly and helpful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well located within easy walk of the station and ideal for moving on next day - room basic but comfortable for overnight stay
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good price quality ratio. Close to city center. We had the most quiet room, other rooms are on the noisy street side. Breakfast basic, but for the price quite good.
Cons: The hotel is on a busy street. As there is no airco, you need to open the window for some fresh air. Our room was terribly hot and noisy, so we asked and got the room om the more quite side. This was much better and we had a good sleep. The hotel is in the close vicinity of the railway station. For us, it was a stop over on our trip to Spain. I would not pick this hotel again.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing , dark, stuffy, no clean air place
Cons: No a/c when outside +31 C, even windows do not open, unfriendly owner of the hotel is the only staff, walls are paper thin you can hear everything next door, no hooks in the bathroom, dark stain littered carpet on the floor that stinks

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Dinner was excellent with plenty of choice and more French than many hotels these days. Staff were helpful at every stage. Despite being located by busy roads and a roundabout it was well soundproofed and quiet. Certainly a hotel to revisit. Thank you.
Cons: Nothing, apart from the universally packaged scrambled eggs and burnt streaky bacon that so many hotels provide!

4.5 Okay
Pros: Very comfortable beds
Cons: Very outdated decor - who has coloured bathroom suites, phones and fixed ashtrays in toilet these days ? Poor quality towels Not very clean Paid extra for a balcony - no warning about the building site view so what a waste of money No curtains/blinds - very bright early morning and didn’t feel very private Have stayed in lots of very nice Mercure hotels so very disappointed
7.5 Good
Pros: Location overlooking city center plaza.
Cons: Paid extra for room with large balcony overlooking the plaza. The plaza was completely torn up for construction! No fountain, no carousel, no people. The charm was replaced with bull doisers, jack hammers and dust.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable hotel in central location. Warm welcome. Reception staff dealt with our request to store our bicycles perfectly. Excellent comfortable room with air con and large bath and balcony. Would strongly recommend.
