The room was quiet and comfortalbe and all facilities were in good working order.
Express staff service and considerate smiling staff.
Meal in the Bistro was excellent and staff very friendly nothing
The hotel is located in an excellent position overlooking a fine sandy beach.the food is good, buffet breakfast especially offering a wide choice of products.it has an indoor swimming pool and first class car park.also, the owner is a very welcoming lady who is always looking after her guests.
The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, just a stones throw from the beach. Parking was free, and it was affordable. Pool was very nice and clean, but the shower at the pool was not working well; very low pressure.
Location on the beach. restaurant on the premises.Friendly staff.
Friendly staff, relaxing atnosphere, very sood location, sound of the sea waves just before falling asleep
Excellent staff and food. Clean, up to date and comprehensive facilities. Wonderful beach only 30m away. No
The owner/manager was fantastic, welcoming and helpful. We loved the closeness to the town centre and the beach. We appreciated the free parking. Just loved the area - we spent many enjoyable hours watching the people on the beach and walking along the seashore. The room was fresh and clean, not overdone. We liked our small balcony area outside; also appreciated the roll-down shutter that let in air but gave us security when the doors were open. Loved the family atmosphere in the dining room; thought the food was excellent, especially the fish dishes and liked the fact that it used regional ingredients and generous portions. Would have liked to hire beach towels. Coming from Australia we didn't expect to have to carry such items - we had to buy one in the town. Also couldn't find a hand-basin in the heated pool area.
Breakfast was good Hotel is a Routiers Truck Stop. Nothing wrong with that except it was not clear when booking
efficient and good breakfast
Its realy just a Hotel if you need an over night stop. We couldn't find anything near puy du fou. No.
Friendly polite staff, basic budget accommodation for overnight stay or short break. Clean rooms. We booked 1 double and 2 twin rooms all to a good standard Slightly noisy location we faced main road with traffic location on busy throughfair
The staff were very accomodating, good value for money.
Friendly atmosphere, somewhat 'cheap and cheerful' but, hey, it was cheap and cheerful! Had a two bedded room with 5 beds for a single traveller for no apparent reason ! Couldn't access Wifi as room was too remote.
Breakfast ok. Service ok. Enough parking. WiFi-Internet access. Room size ok. 1. Very cold in the room (10°c inside) in winter (-4° outside) even though the radiator was on maximum hot continuously. 2. the bathroom: The bathroom and the vestibule are the same unit. There's no door between them. The hook for shower head is kaput totally. There's no any hooks for clothes in bathoom. Only two towels. Normal is 3 per person.
Well-equipped and very comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, and an excellent restaurant No
Good selection at breakfast and pleasant bar area. Parking very difficult to locate. Room quite cramped and smelled slightly of drains.
Very clean, friendly, one particularly nice receptionist. They honoured my special requests, pool and spa great.supermarket to meet all needs opposite hotel. No kettle in room, but I already knew this and took my own travel kettle and plug adaptor. I booked a superior room, as I was unaware there were rooms 33 euros cheaper, didn't say on booking site. So I would ring hotel direct in future.
restaurant room too small
Food was excellent Room was very basic
Excellent location, clean and comfortable.Helpful staff. Restuarant prices rather high. Room rate for room only rather high as was cost of breakfast.
Food and menu in evening was great, breakfast disappointing - tinned fruit and coffee not great by French standards. Good friendly staff.
The staff was very friendly. We liked the french breakfast, although we would add some meat to it( ham or backon). Rooms are a bit too small and there was no bath to relax in after a day out.
The room was clean and reasonably quiet and so it was a good stay which I would repeat as necessary.
The hotel was clean, convenient, and had all the facilities necessary for an overnight stop. The presence of the restaurant next door was very convenient. The presence of the cleaners waiting to clean the rooms whilst we were still eating breakfast was a little off-putting.
very clean and efficently run hotel, contenintal breakfast was fine but nothing can make up for the fact that the hotel is quite isolated and in an industrial estate, i would however stay again if i was in the area
The location is perfect to break a long journey but is not where you would stay for local scenery. This is a modern, clean and well maintained building just seconds from the A83 Autoroute junc. 7 but as a result of impressive sound insulation guests do not hear any traffic noise or other guests. The rooms are spacious, contain all the furniture you may need and (unusually) the bathroom is warm, well proportioned and extremely well lit. Top marks! A pleasant "atrium" sitting area for reading, using the free Wi-Fi, a drink and/or breakfast. Two nights without complaint - rare for us. Their excellent restaurant just a few steps away offers good variety of dishes and wine at very reasonable prices. We recommend this hotel without reservation Nothing
Very helpful and informative staff, clean rooms and very centrally located for restaraunts and shopping.
Simple but clean hotel, in the town is not much going on. Not much going on in the town
Comfortable and clean Inadequate tv no English channels and many scrambled stations. Poor parking facilities ie on road
The personnel were very helpful and welcoming The hotel did not have it own private parking, only street payant parking.
Nothing! Rooms very tatty - holes in carpet, wc would not stop flushing so had to turn of water supply Very noisy as directly above restuarant so couldn't get to sleep much before midnight Bed very old and exceptionally uncomfortable Piped Scottish music continuously playing which eventually got on your nerves!
very centrally located. Very vriendly Proprietor a little noisy (traffic) to the front.
the owners and staff. dressing table mirror would be useful
The Hotel was extremely friendly. We give ***** for a ** Hotel. Sincere thanks There was nothing that I did not like about the Hotel, however, parking was a bit 'Hit and Miss'. We were very lucky to find a space right outside Marie Stuart but with a car loaded to the brim with goods we would have been happier to have paid for some secure parking nearby!
Close to the station and city centre Neither WiFi nor willing to find a solution; quaint; rather broken-down
Charming and very helpful host, great location opposite the station, scottish theme throughout refreshingly old fashioned, nice clean room. Unfortunately, we were booked on a public holiday and the restaurant was closed but the bar is stocked with a huge collection of malt whiskies. Restaurant recommended by host was excellent.
Very spacious twin room with 2 double size beds. Very clean No shower curtain so unable to use the shower.
The staff were very helpful and attentive The room needed decorating and sadly we had a young family above us and the noise of children's feet and balls being rolled and bounced became wearing (I realise this is just bad luck on the day, not the hotel's doing!)
Central location. Staff retention. Shower. Room very small in comparison to the one I had last summer. Hotel bar and restaurant closed to guests New Year's Eve and New Year's Day without any notification... this in a town where only the Chinese restaurant opened... thank goodness!
the location is wonderful. the old fisherman's warf and fish culture is unique and interesting. the hotel room is cleaned very well each day although as mentioned before the location is wonderful the staff is unfriendly and sturdy. Moreover the hotel looks like a hotel in the 1970's.
Peace and tranquility. Lovely walks on the dunes and through the woods. Interesting oyster culture. My family came to visit and to have an evening meal. Menu boards were on display showing us the selection ...after some deliberation we made our choice and was then told that all that was available was oysters! We then had to make arrangements to get in our cars to find somewhere else to eat! this should have been made known when we booked for 6 people to eat there!! Crazy...not everyone likes oysters!!
Room was nice For the the location ( remote and unsalubrious) we thought the hotel was a little too expensive and the restaurant inappropriately so. The menu was overly pretentious and beyond the capability of the chef. We only ate there on our first night and from obsevations, most other guests were too put off by the prices ( our prior knowledge) to even do that. On Saturday night the hotel was full but only 3 couples dined. Which is a pity because had the food been good we would have dined every night. As it was we had to drive elsewhere and dine soberly.
Good price No reception and any responsible person in the hotel, there is a yellow machine in front of the building and you should pay the cost by credit card, I tried to use it but I had a problem, I couldn't have a chance to pay it in cash.
It was a convenient stop-over during a journey down through France. Have stayed in these places before so knew what to expect. The motorway runs a few yards from hotel and is elevated so extremely noisy. Breakfast is eat as much as you like but choice is minimal. OK if you like loads of bread and jam! Could get nicer hotel for same rate.
You are a budget hotel so we got what we paid for! The bed was rather uncomfortable, the hotel is situated close to a busy road so the traffic noise was intrusive, and the drinks vending machine wasn't working. These were irritants rather than complaints.
