Pros: camera curata
Cons: check.in hour limited at 9.00 pm
Pros: Central location, free wifi,
Cons: The view from the room was just a wall, otherwise everything was fine
Pros: Extremely nice staff, foreign language skills rather limited so you better speak some French Breakfast better than to be expected
Pros: We were allocated the accessible room on the ground floor so didn't need to struggle up the stairs with our luggage
Cons: We arrived early before the advertised check-in time so we waited. Check-in time came and went so I telephoned and then we had to wait another 40 minutes for the owner to come to check us in. We were not allowed to park in the secure yard - had to leave our car in the public square across the road. Lights in the room were all on the same circuit & could not be switched separately so it was all or nothing. The water from the shower area did not run away down the drain but flowed into the other part of the bathroom. Trains pass by very close during the night disturbing our sleep.
Pros: This hotel was basic but very clean. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom spotless. All in all value for money especially for a one night stop. The Breakfast was good value, the usual french bread, a croissant, jams, fruit juice, coffee etc.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable
Located in Reuilly-Sauvigny, Auberge Le Relais is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Champagne Alain Navare and Champagne Serveaux Pascal. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful view over vineyards. Old world charm and fabulous gourmet restaurant.
Pros: Excellent restaurant and attentive staff. Dog friendly too!
Pros: Very good restaurant, secure parking, lovely garden, dog friendly
Pros: Great location, the restaurant is very good, rich flavours, good portions, a real treat. Good and friendly service as well and a great breakfast.
Pros: The location was in between some villages on a smaller road. We had a room upstairs, two flights up. It was raining when we got there for an overnight stay so we didn't see too the surroundings in the best possible way but we could see it would be very nice if the sun shines. The bed was very nice and comfortable, the shower good; just what we needed after a long day sightseeing :) We found a nice french restaurant in a nearby village (chez Nanou) as we didn't want to have dinner in the hotel.
Cons: This is not a cozy place, it feels a bit formal. Personally we prefer more intimate feeling hotels.
Pros: The room was really lovely, tastefully decorated, very comfortable beds with newly refurbished bathroom and separate WC. The restaurant was really good. Classic French cuisine with delightful service. Don’t miss the breakfast!
Pros: Nice view
Cons: Overpriced tasteless food served by waiters who refused to speak any English or would give a sigh and and a look of disgust as they explain. You better be fluent with your french !!! The rest of the hotel has seen better days , unlit hallway and stairs at night , curtain pole hanging off the wall and silicone sealant coming away in the shower.
Located in Le Charmel, Chambres Assailly is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Champagne Serveaux Pascal and Champagne Biard-Loyaux. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Quiet, very quiet and dark during the night
Cons: Quite far away from nearest restaurant and shopping
Pros: Renee was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, large, had a gorgeous balcony and lovely view of the garden which was beautiful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast very good.
Cons: If there was a kettle and tea and coffee it would have been even better
Pros: The lady that manages the place was fantastic and great help to us (and upgraded our room for free just because the nicer one was free). Beautiful and characteristic building. Great breakfast. There's almost nothing in Le Charmel, but plenty enough in the surrounding area. A car is probably necessary.
Pros: Fair breakfast with fresh bread and croissants. Plenty of fruit juice and coffee
Cons: stale odour in room because of closed-up. (windows not been open for some time)
Pros: The facility is ok. At least it provides whatever needed for our 1-night stay. Since the pension owner lives in the same house and she is still able to greet us when we are late for checking-in. The breakfast is simple.
Cons: It is a smaller room crowded with 3 twin beds than I originally expected. The water pressure of shower head is too weak to have a comfortable showing.
Pros: Everything, especially the friendliness of the owner
Pros: really excellent and generous hostess; breakfast superb
Cons: Toilet roll holder wants replacing as it doesnt roll properly and is broken
Pros: Very rustic French setting and a lovely host. Nice simple breakfast and good value stay.
Cons: We booked at the last minute and didn’t check the area, and had to walk 2 miles to get to the nearest bar/restaurant which was shut. It’s a lovely spot, but there’s nothing close by.
Pros: The host, was magnificent and very warmly greeted us. Our breakfast the next morning was yummy. The courtyard is beautiful and peaceful. This is not a 5 star hotel by any means. but it is a a darling place to stay in the countryside in France. It was clean, and I felt like the host would help us out with what ever we needed. I would stay her again!

Pros: Best croissant in France Friendly and polite host Fabulous location
Pros: The owner was so helpful and friendly. He really impressed us and made us feel warm welcome. We felt as visiting family. He recommended the vineyard and even contacted them to see if we could step by.
Cons: Maybe adding some eggs or cheese to breakfast for those who prefer salty breakfast.
Pros: Nice , basic continental breakfast, with good croisants and coffee. . Lovely view out of the window acrooss the river to the town of Dormans where we had a lovely dinner.
Cons: The weather.
Pros: Late arrival was no problem and breakfast included with a lovely view on the vineyards
Pros: Location and Breakfast were one of the best we have had on our day vacation. You can't ask for a better location. you are right in the middle of Champagne country. Dormains is just down the road.
Cons: no nothing. I loved the place and we look forward to our return in the next year or so. It was fabulous. Parking was a plus. and its very secure.
